Detail of a bigger painting created for my upcoming book Ergo Cosmos
"That is why certain devout knights wear a solar helmet; the Radiant Star is called to witness the sacrifice of their life, the ascension of their spirit, and the depths of their passion."

Created for my upcoming book Ergo Cosmos!
"Drowned in superstition and ignorance, the sacred emblems of the Kronoempire reached the Holy Moon, mysterious talismans to those mercenaries who imported them as trophies or religious relics. None could fathom that these simple drawings were responsible for the invention of Time."

every day I thank the universe for creating nerds bc nothing could have EVER made my reading experience of The Tombs of Atuan better than the fact that I found a dungeon synth artist who did a whole album based on the book that just completely captured every moment so perfectly. Hearing ‘Dragonlord’ play so perfectly in sync with the very moment she officially meets Sparrowhawk is such a vivid core memory of mine. I really hope they make albums of every book (so far they only did three, all of which are amazing, but ofc the one for Tombs is my fave)
for anyone curious the artist is called Erreth-Akbe (Spotify and band camp)
