Some time ago, I had the pleasure of creating a deck of cards of the Italian game Scopa for

@IELLO_France. It was a fantastic project, and I am still grateful for the opportunity. If you are curious, I can show you some of the artworks I have produced for the occasion.

This was a proposal for the back of the cards, it was discarded for another one.

I have always used colors as the driving force in my work. I am creating Ergo Cosmos in black and white to free myself from this habit, alternating ink and painting in values as a tool to hone fundamentals. I know this might result in hit-and-miss sometimes; not every piece will be perfect, but perhaps the readers will enjoy the imperfections as a sort of testimony of my struggle to express as clearly as possible the surreal tales of my book (that's the hope, at least).
