lmao my grandmother calling me selfish and egotistical for saying that as an already disabled woman, i wouldn't want to take the risk of getting pregnant and giving birth bc im already too chronically exhausted to take care of a baby/toddler, my hips/etc are already very bad, will only get worse, and it is very likely birth would cripple me for a lifetime. calling me selfish and egotistical when id adopt a kid whose already in need and suffering. ok..okokokk. love that. because i guess its my purpose as a female to for some reason have to bring life in this world, even if its very likely to leave me so disabled i wont even be able to be a proper full time mother and like, even be able to walk my kid to the park or spend proper quality time w my kid because id be so horribly in pain and exhausted. because its somehow selfish to not give birth for your own sake as a female. great

This is easily the stupidest thing he’s ever done.  Tanner can’t even hold the borrowed sword up, not that it would do any good.  Nico alone is dangerous.  Kronos alone is deadly.  Them together is just him asking to finally meet Charon.  As if the underworld would still exist after the titan was done with it.  True, the gods had done nothing for him.  Even his own father hadn’t seen fit to do anything for him but a mockery of freedom.  Kronos had, in some ways, taken better care of him than anyone else.  Sped up time to let him heal where the titan gathered power or slowed it to let him finally rest undisturbed.  As useless as the gods were, they weren’t causing this level of destruction.  They didn’t slaughter senselessly.   Nico’s still in there which gives him a fraction of a chance.  Less than that probably.  Wings raise as though making himself look bigger would do anything.  It doesn’t make him feel better being taller than a child housing what could very well be the end of the world.  “Y’know, in some mythologies, my father is your great-grandfather.”  Whether that was true or not he has absolutely no idea.  “And...by all means I’m not even a-a real demigod.”  Bright upper sky, place of the gods-there had to be something he could do with that.  A way to level the playing field by even an inch.  Tanner’s feathers fluff as he backs up, fight abandoned for flight.  “Why don’t I show you?”
