nobody cares as always but I see a lot of people complaining about the countless amount of smut in the stories. For my part, I think we must accept that writers write what they want, and what inspires them. it's totally valid for me to write smut.

the problem with tumblr is that a lot of authors want to write something else, some only write fluff or angst but when they do, the votes are so low. people are less invested, there are few reblogs, comments, feedback. This doesn't mean that they have to stop writing about it, but that the motivation is necessarily negative. you write for yourself first but if you post it (let's not be hypocrites), you write so that it is read, because you want to show people.

there is fluff and angst in this fandom even with rafe. It's more complicated to find but it exists. we should just show more support to the authors who do it so that they want to write more, show them that it is seen and appreciated like smut. It really doesn't cost anything, it's even completely free.

but whatever you write smut, angst, fluff, please write and keep this fandom alive. some people (like me...) have nothing better to do than read all that. don't be ashamed of what you write.

to be a writer is also to be free. it’s a freedom to be able to write. as a reader, be patient and encourage your favorite authors to write.
