regarding that last post. the point is that Serizawa’s the antithesis to those mad scientist types. the only thing he used his oxygen destroyer on was the eradication of godzilla. he knew his device would be detrimental to society, so he destroyed his research and prototype then died with godzilla so that nobody could replicate his invention.

You know that part in the Eragon series where he's hanging out with the elves and they do this ceremony thing or whatever? And it changes his appearance? But then he describes himself as fairer than any human but rougher than any elf? And like he's kinda unsure about how he feels about that?

I think about that a lot. I read those books when I was 11. It's been 10 years and I still think about that.
