so much happened in this whole episode but i’m still on fig infiltrating ruben’s dream, making it look like the place where his friend was murdered, and then disguising herself as kipperlilly & repeatedly saying different variants of “somebody needs to take the fall for this, and it’s not going to be me. it’s going to be you.” while adaine as the elven oracle shows up next to her. can you imagine waking up from that, the idea of a horrible truth being pinned on you by your friend to save her own skin while the personification of fate and destiny stands there, almost as a promise that this is GOING to happen to you. we don’t even know if this kid is guilty. my god.

But I like the idea of the phantom world being reincarnated into very unexpected people.

Or Dani being another clone, or her being Damian, and Sam being Poison Ivy and or Martha, etc.

But I also like the unhinged nonsense of Sam being a clone in the dc world — ideally Kon, and Dani (or Dan) being Bruce, while Vlad is gasp Thomas Wayne.

I just think the idea of Danny finding out that in an alternate world he married a nicer and age appropriate Vlad and had the son the guy has been demanding for so long in their world is hilarious.

And on the other hand, can you imagine Bruce’s reaction? To his alternate mom being a sassy teenage boy, his alternate dad being an older guy ‘preying’ on this kid that absolutely HATES the guy, and being an absolute creep while his alt self **gestures to your choosing** is either a tiny girl menace or the biggest and meanest growling ghost that is BARELY tolerating being in the same space as the living.

it’s kind of funny that of all the coping mechanisms we’ve seen in aftg (mostly some combination of drugs, self-harm, violence and sex), neil’s coping mechanism of going for a long run plus the occasional cigarette, might be technically the healthiest. he even practices techniques to calm himself down regularly (counting).

please don't mistake silence for hatred. please don't mistake unanswered plotting messages as indifference, or a lack of enthusiasm towards you. considering the ages of most roleplayers, many of us have bills to pay, families to take care of, medical conditions to treat, appointments to make, classes to take, homes to clean, and lives to live away from the computer that are far, far more important than writing on tumblr — life has a tendency to get in the way of hobbies and fun things like this. be patient with your fellow writers. if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. of course you can set your boundaries, keep your space comfortable, and softblock whoever you wish, but do so while recognizing it's probably not hatred or apathy that keeps them from leaping into your dms with message after message. they probably love this hobby just as much as you... but sometimes life gets in the way.

Me, watching some YJS fans justify what Shauna did to Mari by using clips of Mari and Jackie giggling in s1 (normal teenage girl things), or Mari speaking the truth and trying to take Jackie's jacket (even though it was the middle of winter and the group were already sharing clothes), with said fans saying that they've would've done worse to Mari in response, acting like that makes them any better:

Slight TW for discussion of SH (Kurt’s angelic symbols in the movies)

I think the fact that the patterns on Kurt’s skin in the movies being self harm is skimmed over a lot by the fandom? I’ve not read the comics in years so I don’t remember if they’re canon outside of the movie universe.

But speaking in the context of the movie universe, these are scars that Kurt is covered in, it’s one of the first things he says in the movies, that he did them himself, not somebody else. Which is kind of side lined in the movie itself as well.

The next time they’re brought up is at the end of X2, when Storm asks what they are, and when he explains that they’re angelic symbols, and that he has one for every sin.

I dunno I’m just a sucker for Catholic guilt and think people need to talk about this more, I’ll go into more depth another time if people are interested but I just needed to get the idea out there.
