Lovely Runner had the perfect run. The whole premise of it being a fantasy romcom was perfectly written, perfectly executed with a beautiful cast.

Sunjae and Sol were fated to be each other's soulmate. Their love blooms from their soul. So deep the bond that fates intervened when evils of society cut their time short. And in all of this the grandma was their fairy godmother.

The writers really need to be applauded because this was the sweetest and in the same time such a simple story. Timeloop dramas get loopy because logic but there's nothing stopping this magic. It was so well done truly.

Every scene you will think you can predict the direction will surprise you. Sometimes it's just belly aching laughter, Sometimes pure angst, Sometimes happiness that is a smile from ear to ear.

Thank you to the actors too. Actors who really bring in a personality beyond the writing and make the works more valuable have my whole heart.

nicki is the prime example of an older bitter woman. she need serious help fr. like to hear her on live stuttering and going on and on about megan and her deceased mother is sickening. she stooped low af fr. all over one line. megan ain’t even say that girls name and it got her yapping out her mouth like somebody grandma. and she’s only proving everyone’s point about her nasty ass husband. now if megan say sum bout her father or brother???? don’t go crying to kenneth or papa about how everyone’s against you cs you’re the queen of rap blah blah.

What I loved about Cinderella's Castle is it is so entirely about Ella. We know starkid can handle a show with tons and tons of characters but I found it quite refreshing for it to be so wholly her story? I think it was a lovely choice for this show and man Bryce did such a perfect job of it, she is truly such a star

Aragorn singing the Lay of Luthien and Arwen looking just like Luthien and him crying Tinuviel just as Beren did???? meeting years later in Lothlorien and Aragorn dressing up nice enough to make Arwen fall in love this time?? (Galadriel the wingwoman. she so set that up.) walking together barefoot in the elanor and niphredil?????? Arwen making the standard as a symbol of her faith that Aragorn will become king???? (and having this sent to him as a gift/message during the course of LOTR) Once Aragorn dies Arwen going to live alone in the waning Lothlorien (where they fell in love, remember) until she dies on the hill where she chose their love over immortality?????

I think the part of Ghost Story that resonates the most with me personally is the way that a lot of Joey's character arc is about simultaneously yearning for and romanticizing a queer past but also imposing modern ideas onto that past. He thinks he would pass better in the past, in a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere where as long as he dresses correctly no one will question him, but he doesn't actually want everything else that comes with being queer in that era. He wants there to be a happy ending. And that's just not up to him at all. Don't we all wish that there were more queer happy endings in history? Don't we all fall into the trap of thinking "[insert very specific experience] would have been better back then [if I ignore the surrounding context of why it was "better" in my opinion]" every now and then?

And I'm also just obsessed with the entire part near the end where Joey is talking to Hao about how trans history is perceived as inherently different from history more generally and how that scene as a whole is so much about Joey taking for granted the fact that he knows other trans people, takes for granted that there are people who understand. Hao, in this past that Joey has been romanticizing, may have had an easier time starting over somewhere new with a new name and new clothes, but he also feels like he is the only person in the world like him. "Must be nice to know so many others that you can be annoyed by them." Like Joey's feelings about how trans identities being more visible has made him easier to clock are valid but to act like the opposite of that is inherently better circles back to the false idea that he can simultaneously have his perfect idea of queer history without all the baggage that it comes with. And how this scene talks about Joey having to confront his insecurities about being a trans gay man specifically and having to make peace with the fact that he can't just make himself become cis magically but that could be an entire post by itself.
