It's been a good run

But it's time to bring this to a close!

The saga is over, C, T and I are all together. T and I are in the swing of it, C approves as much as it is possible for him to approve of anything, everyone knows about the blog and is chill.

C is back at his rightful place of walking his sister down the aisle.

I'm getting everything I want, and we're all free to make each other miserable until the day we die.

I'm not going to be updating this blog anymore! Nobody else involved with the situation will be submitting any more AITA posts either, because they are either not on tumblr or agreed it would be annoying.

I will say that there is some stuff on here that I've alluded to that isn't necessarily 100% in the spirit of things, so I've included some stuff below the cut for the folks who have caught onto that. I would not suggest reading it if you like how all of this played out and want to keep it that way. I know that's incredibly vague, but I'm not sure how to phrase it without making it weird?

Q: Wh... Why did you do this...?

A: Well, first this all started as a Red vs Blue fanfic for the ship Chexer (Church/Tex/Tucker)-

It started as a fanfic for Chexer. However, I was already working on a different fanfic for RVB that was totalling about 15k words at this point (+ at least 90k to go), and I knew I would never have the time or energy to write this one. I thought: yknow. this would be really funny as an aita post.

Q: It was a fanfic of a Halo fanfic series.

A: Yep!

So, I submitted Tucker's perspective. I did not expect for it to get more than maybe 100 notes at most. I totally thought someone would call it out right away.

The funny part is, if I'd dedicated all this energy to a fic instead of this blog, I'd probably have about 15-20 thousand words of fic already, but whatever, can't ruin my personal day!

Also, I wanted to see how many people would figure it out/how long it would take for it to become too obvious that this was a fandom thing. I was dropping names and RvB lore since the beginning. A few people did figure it out, and I DMed them in private to let them know.

Q: But why make the blog then?

A: Because I love to lie and be a nuisance to the general populace! <3

It was always my intent to wait until Carolina's perspective got posted (i am honestly still shocked i got away with "Carey/Georgia/West Virginia/Alabama/Miss Louisiana 1988"), let it simmer for about a day, then come clean. Which is what I'm doing now!

The reason I'm coming clean now instead of dragging it out is because I don't want anyone to feel stupid or like they got duped. You're not stupid! You were a part of this story! This was, as one anon said, a creative writing project. It was a collaboration! Thank you so much for helping me!

That said, I'm sorry to anyone that finds this disappointing! I had a blast doing this, but I will not be doing it again. I have gotten my fill. I have had my taste of being an influencer, and now I can go on with my life without ever feeling like I need to start a youtube channel.

Q: How did you keep up with a consistent timeline?

A: I didn't, especially at first. But in my time as a liar who lies about things, I have found that usually people are willing to believe you when you say "yeah, i lied about that".

Q: Wait, what about the thing with your kid?

A: Yeah, I fucked up on this one. In the other fic I was/am writing, Tucker was around 33. So, when I was saying what Junior's age was, I subtracted it from 33 and got 18. It wasn't until I was showing my partner the blog and they said "Wait, he had his kid at 13??????" that I realized I had fucked up. Oops!

Q: Was it really ALL fake?

A: For the most part. I will say that I did actually drop chocolate cake all over my tits that one time and had to shower by myself like a fucking loser. That one was true. I did also get my nails done for the first time ever, which did actually affect my typing. And I am in a band (but so is Tucker, canonically)! There are a few other things as well, but I don't want to list all of them.

Q: DID you ever read homestuck?

A: Nope. And I never will.

Even the title, though I will say that the title I came up with was "Leonard "Alpha Bitch" Church's Decidedly Not Lo-Fi Beats to Get Nasty and Get Clean To: The Movie"

Q: So there was never a combination sex/bathtime playlist?

A: Maybe! But perhaps more accurately: the combination sex/bathtime playlist was inside of you all along. You can make it. There are only three songs on there that are canon to the lore of this blog. Those are No Children by The Mountain Goats, Take It Out On Me by Thousand Foot Krutch, and one unknown song from the album Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV by Coheed and Cambria (Yep, the call was coming from inside the house, I gave Church my music taste). I had intended this to be Wake Up, but it's out of my hands now. The rest is yours to fill in.

DAY ONE OF THE TWELVE DAYS OF VENUS CHALLENGE ; what happened to the plot?

So excited to start this challenge! Over the years Venus has had many, and I mean many, plots and rewrites so I decided to compile all the ones I can remember for day one of this challenge. I've probably forgotten some because I have the memory of a fish but if you want to refresh my memory there is also an ASK GAME going on for the challenge where you can bring up old Venus plots you loved/remembered. Here's to five years! TW // MENTIONS OF DRUG ADDICTION, DEPRESSION, CHEATING, SEXISM, TOXIC/ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS, AND SUICIDE.

TRANSCRIPTION.

Venus at their conception was literally just Baebi and friends. Like, if you think my Yoonah favoritism is bad NOW you should’ve been there for 2019. Truly, I didn’t give a damn about any of the other girls until a little while later when I wanted to project my love for Johnny Suh onto an OC because I was tired of writing in 2nd person lol! The original line up consisted of Baebi, Jaeyeon, Aki, Chloe and Jiah which is probably why I have such an attachment to what I deem “The Big Three”. Baebi, Chloe, and Jiah (now Sena congrats bby) are the only Venus girls I’ve ever really been able to consistently write for which is why they, typically, stick around unlike the rotating fifth slot. Anyways, plots.

The main plot at the time was cenetered around Yoonah and her battle with depression, making her a not great person. At that time, no one had really had a devisive character like that before and I’m only saying that because the amount of anons I would get telling me Yoonah is a bad person and they don’t know why I would write someone like her (she’s so tame by today’s comparison lol) told me that. The community was pretty small, max 12 people at the time so I don’t blame them for being thrown off by this version of Yoonah. She was a lot lol.

Anyways, her love interest at the time was Bang Chan and they had this awful and toxic relationship where she would emotionally and verbally abuse him due to her not being abloe to cope with her depression properly. Truly, this was mainly what the Venus blog was about for a while. Yoonah cheating on Chan, Chan trying to help her, them getting back together, them breaking up, wash and repeat. It was fun to write but I needed to branch out more I don’t remember when I retired this plot if I’m being honest? I just remember it not being a thing anymore expect in fun little easter eggs like Yoonah’s English name being Evie. Chan picked that for her. I think it’s a sweet call back lol!

This was like the main thing about Venus I remember at the time besides the Chloe and Jiah plots but that’s on the next page!

TRANSCRIPTION.

Then there was the Chloe and Jiah plots. I do believe these bleed into 2020, I’m not sure as you’ve noticed I suck with dates lol, but these were impactrful as well. Actually, massively impactful! Especially the Chloe plot which ended up evolving into what is now known as the Chloe and Nakyung situation of 2020(?). We will touch on that later lol.

Let’s start with the star of the show: Chloe. Chloe’s plot was about her insecurities in her looks and relationship. Her relationship with Johnny was very ideal; He loved her, he treated her right, and they had been together for years at that point. Still, in every version of the Johnny Saga, he’d cheat. Always. Which would always fuck with Chloe’s low selfesteem more. Anyways, the plot.

Let’s get it out of the way now: OG Chloe is not the bitch we know today. She was very different. She had no confidence, was weak and naive through and through, and couldn’t stand up for herself. Which is why this plot went down the way it did. Johnny and Chloe were together for 6 years before he started to grow tired of constantly reassuring Chloe he loved her and she was the only girl for him. In comes a girl named Kimi. Kimi was in a now defunct group of mine called Colorcoded andw as originally in the Venus lineup before she left due to bullying by their former leader, Jaeyeon. Long story, send an ask if you wanna know lol!

Anyways, Johnny would go on to cheat on Chloe with Kimi and Chloe only found out about this through DISPATCH…Yeah, insanity. She ended up staying with Johnny because he was all she knew and felt no man would ever love her and it was so pathetic and sad to watch like omg girl get up. Anyways, despite trying to fix their relationship, Chloe could not get over him cheating and would go onto cheat on Johnny with Kun. Crazy NCT love triangle I know. Because of this, they would have a fight and FINALLY part ways. This plot was reworked a few times before completely being tossed because some people were… sexist about it? Weird times. Wouldn’t revisit!

Actually, everyone minus Chanbin in the original Jiah plot has been canceled so…i’m not gonna go there lol sorry!

I really only remember Yoonah’s plots and the Chloe and Nakyung thing happening in 2021…Let’s start with Yoonah since I like talking about her more lol! In 2021, Yoonah’s depression had sunken her to the point of a suicide attempt that was very publicly broadcasted. She was in and out of recovery for a hot minute because that was her whole plot. Her point as a character was to show that recover is never linear. Once Yoonah would reenter public life after her attempt, she would begin her never ending battle with addiction. Her drug addiction was a big focal point of her character at the time since it was literally ruining everything around her. Her job, her relationships, her body, she was killing herself in every chapter basically, and by the time she decided to try and get clean she had nearly lost everything she loved.

I remember she was in a very deep love affair with Jaehyun that would fizzle out once she decided to get clean. I did love them together despite them not being the best for one another…I don’t know, there was just a lot of love between them. Around this time was also when I started develving into Yoonah and Jinhwa’s problematic relationship but I feel that got more developed in 2022. In this timeline, Jinhwa had met Yoonah when she was an adult. Their relationship was still not appropriate but it was a lot more acceptable than it is now. The power imbalance though, had always been there and I do find that a bit devestating. Even if he wasn’t a creep, he was still cruel to her. But, Jinhwa was always a creep, just not to Yoonah which is why I think it often went overlooked.

Anyways, this was pretty formative year for Yoonah since this is really where she began to spiral and her lore started to solidify. Cannot tell you what Jiah and Aki were up to. I think Aki was dating Jennie or Sana? And, honestly, Jiah might not have even been in Venus…IDK weird year.

TRANSCIPTION.

This was the year I made the fatal decision of the Nakyung, Johnny, and Chloe love triangle. If you can’t tell, I don’t like this plot point lol. I don’t think I don’t like it as a plot but I hated the response I got. A lot of people used this plot to push outdated and misogynist opinions onto Chloe and Nakyung, mainly Nakyung, and I could not stand it. It felt like I made like I had made a moster I could not get away from which, truly, is why I removed Nakyung from the lineup this year. Even then, no one would shut up about this plot and it drove me insane lol!

Anyways, this plot was about Nakyung fucking Johnny, Chloe’s boyfriend, while Chloe was asleep in the next room. Sure, it was messy and fun until it wasn’t but that was really the only thing it gave. I guess this birthed the version of Chloe we know today but at what cost? Chloe would begin to bully Nakyung due to the affair, she was literally valid for that idk why everyone was taking Nakyung’s side, and would eventually get her removed from the lineup.

This plot has been revised to not make me go crazy and so no one can ever compare my girls to Cassie of Euphoria ever again.

Y'all I cannot remember anything that happened this year. It was a weird year for Venus and for me personally so I've wiped it and much of early 2023 from my memory lol. Just know, a majority of what occurred here is no longer canon and I'm sorry you had to see that.

hey I'm the og knight has a fever anon and possibly as karma for putting the boys through that I'm currently coming down from the highest fever I've had in years (dw I'm mostly good by now just inconvenienced since it's exam season) and I've decided to use this for more ideas for foolknight now because might as well take misfortune and alchemy it into inspiration

fevers once they shoot high enough cause a ton of sweating which we all usually remedy via showering/bathing/changing clothes, yeah? but the knight is still completely determined to not show his face. what ever shall he do.

so of course the next utterly logical action is to strip and wash off because the feeling of sweat clinging to him is gross. and just to leave the helmet on. problem solved, sir augustine sees absolutely no flaws at all with this solution.

meanwhile jingly menace either feels some or absolutely no guilt about this once the knight starts stripping since he probably should actually legitimately stay around to make sure he doesn't either drown himself in the water or crack his head open if the fever makes his legs give out or he slips, however ends up having to resist the urge to scream when he realizes that this is just the strip poker incident all over again.

(bonus points if knights.... squire? whoever takes care of his armour later ends up having to be like "why is his helmet, and only his helmet, showing signs of water damage-" with either the knight stonefaced answering with what happened or the jester next to him going "hey don't look at me I tried to tell him not to wear it into the- MMPH-" as the knight (very gently, he knows his own strength) clamping a hand over his mouth. once freed the jester teases him about there being much better ways to shut him up and thus ends the saga of the knight wandering around with a fever because he genuinely thought he was perfectly fine.)

Okay so yes, Doflamingo would be the OG Iteration of Bokuohn, the puppeteer who manipulates people. But in the context of Cross Guild... That's Buggy. "Bokuohn is in control of the majority of the Seven Heroes' forces. Situated in the Steppes region, he owns a large landship, complete with an innumerable amount of slaves." That's literally just Buggy. Like he's not a master of psychological manipulation nor can he forcefully manipulate anybody like literal puppets either (the way Mingo could), but. Like scratch out he RoSa2 terms, replace them with the relevant OP terms and it's a perfect description of Buggy.

Bringing that up because I'm still interested in Cross Guild becoming Shichibukai 2.0 But Without The Government This Time, but if we wanted to have exactly seven former Shichibukai to make up Cross Guild and make sure we had like ones who could actually fill out the roles of the Seven Heroes from RoSa2... Yeah there's going to have to be some replacements Not just because otherwise Doflamingo would need to be broken out of Impel Down somehow (which I doubt will happen, also I don't think Crocodile would want him working for him anyways), but also. Jinbei's with the Strawhats. And I don't think he's ditching Luffy any time soon for Crocodile of all people, not when he finally fucking joined the Strawhats for realsies.

So Doflamingo could be replaced with Buggy, cool, sure. What about Jinbei then? Who will take up the role of RoSa2's Subier?

So a while back I wrote this speculation post about if the Burn Scar Man (who has the final Road Poneglyph) could be a Fishman.(PERHAPS specifically Davy Jones?) Bringing that up because during Kuma's flashback we did learn that Kuma got the Shichibukai Slot after Ace defeated one of the seven at the time. And we specifically got to see Ace talk to Jinbei about it, Ace being surprised Jinbei of all people was glad the Shichibukai slot was being filled again. Now obviously, our Firefist Ace defeating a Shichibukai makes for one great candidate on who the Burn Scar Man could be, as Ace could very easily leave someone with some severe burn scars. This is platantly obvious lmao. But it's the conversation with Jinbei that actually interests me, because like. Sure, Jinbei being a fellow Shichibukai, it might be odd for Ace to hear Jinbei be glad that one of his fellow Warlords is being replaced. But that comment could make twice as much sense if that Warlord had ALSO been a fellow Fishman and/or a Merman (and perhaps someone Jinbei might've known better?). Now indeed. We are going to meet the Burn Scar Man eventually, 100%, it's mandatory for the plot to move forwards. Which means we're going to find out who that guy is, and if the Road Poneglyph gets stolen from him, he might have to find something else to do with his life since there won't be any point in guarding it anymore. And hey. If Mr Burns does turn out to be a fellow former Shichibukai who also happens to be a Fishman/Merman and a master of Fishman Karate... Oh hey, what's this? "Subier - A half octopus merman who controls the flow of the ocean to use as a weapon." Like. IDK I think we could have another Cross Guild member on our hands here.

(Honestly, currently the only problem we have is Dantarg, whose role currently being held by Kuma. Like the only other known Shichibukai we have who could be "available" is Law but he hasn't really done any "bodymods to become stronger" and thus doesn't fit the description. Hell, that description fits Kid more than anything but he was never a Shichibukai either. Guess we gotta keep on hoping Kuma somehow survives and just doesn't return to the Revolutionary Army for some reason)

I mean zombies aren't like an inherent part of Moria's DF abilities, just the Shadow Manipulation. But for all we know Moria could have lost a limb or two, and depending on where the fuck Hogback is (dude is supposed to be a competent doctor, he should be able to stitch Moria back up)... I mean theoretically the next time we see Moria he could look like one of his zombies. Or worse.

Honestly, I don't think Capcom would dare to remake RE6. The game has a lot of flaws, and the over-the-top Fast and Furious action style isn't even the worst of them.

The story in general is a fucking shitty mess, the villains are a joke, specifically Simmons and his stupid obsession with Ada and his ridiculous transformations (who the hell thought a fly and a dinosaur were good ideas?). Not to mention that Jake and Helena must be among the most forgettable characters in the main saga; to this day no one can explain how Wesker had a son, or what was the point of making so much hype for a character we'd never hear from again despite being the son of the most important RE villain.

RE6 is still the mockery of the fandom, people still make videos making fun of how ridiculous and bad the game is, and I don't blame them. That's why RE7 was so abysmally different, because Capcom listened to the fans and they understood that RE6 is simply NOT what the fandom wanted. A remake of RE6 would also imply that Capcom has to redo the story of the game that almost killed their most important franchise. It's not just about polishing some flaws that the original story had or changing some events/scenes (as happened with RE2R and RE4R), it's about changing like 80% of the game to make it good. And I swear, if they make a totally original game no soul on this earth is going to complain, because the only good things people remember about RE6 is: hand-to-hand combat, Leon's perfect ass and Piers and his dynamic with Chris.

capcom can absolutely repeat that success and rake in shittons of money, now that they have managed to replicate RE4make being a cultural phenomenon that's pulled a brand new audience into resident evil, just like OG did. they would be so stupid to not keep that success rolling the exact same way they did with OG.

capcom is a business, and a business exists to make money.

we are getting an RE6make. as far as i'm concerned, this is not up for debate. they need to release another leon game in the remake timeline within the next five years to fully capitalize on RE4make's success -- regardless of how well RE5make does -- and RE6 is the only option, because it is the last numbered title he's been in. (and before you go: what about that operation javier game that just got hinted at -- that would be a spinoff, and that's not the same thing.)

capcom used to say that an RE2make would never happen. they were terrified to remake RE2. and they were right to be.

they were also terrified to remake RE4. and they were definitely right to be.

but i don't think they're scared anymore. they're going to look at RE6make as an opportunity, not a roadblock. RE6make is their opportunity to do it right this time and have that game bolster their reputation instead of tank it while raking in shittons and shittons of money.

hi do you have Krillin relationship headcanons? canon or otherwise? 👀👀👀👀

I will be honest with you, anon. I don't often think on it these days. HOWEVER!!!! for you, I have,,,, formulated a response i think mostly encapsulates my feelings on the matter.

Krillin is, by far, the most lovable character of all of dragon ball. objectively, even. He is cute, nice, and very self-sacrificing. Every one of his friends has probably seen this trait and agreed that krillin is worth protecting and loving. etc etc.

That being said!!!!! i think krillin inserts veeerry nicely with very many ships, most being non-canon, obvi. The only krillin ships i actively ship are k18, a lil sprinkle of gokrill, and some latenight thoughts of bulkrill (?) bulma and krillin. whatever their shipname is.

that being said, krillin is one of those characters that when i see crackships and such with him its more like a pleasant surprise because he's usually overlooked. i think he deserves some crackship au fics and fanarts sometimes....

anyways. getting into it. here are some thoughts i have... and some ship stuff.

Krillin's love languages are probably acts of service and physical touch. When he receives an act of service, he is so deeply touched to the bottom of his heart that he probably cant help but feel a little indebted, no matter how that gift or service was intended.

on that note, he is just genuinely kind, so he will give out services out of the kindness of his heart. when others see that genuine kindness, that is what pulls them in.

he is not immune to bickering and playing and fighting. teasing back and forth is in his nature, no matter if he ends up the butt of a joke LMAO. i don't think he really minds.

Goku

goku is someone he met as a young teen and they bonded after a brief rivalry while studying under the same master, and they became quick best friends after experiencing the same hardships in their training. this is literally the setup to every #1 shounen m/m ship I've seen. literally. rivals to best friends to lovers is IT for everyone ever. i think people should take a gander at og db and really get a wholesome view of the trope. because krillin and goku both have so much kindness to go around its just them bouncing off encouragement and some dumbassery back and forth.

Bulma

bulma is another early teens friend, and they have truly been on many adventures together. I think the filler in namek saga kinda turned me off from it a bit, but without all of that, i really just think about how they were able to spend so much time together in an enclosed space and not kill each other? i think some married couples cant do that. they would make a good duo in that sense for sure.

it helps that they have a VERY established dynamic of bulma taking the lead and krillin following and helping, and taking action where necessary. they have a long history together and know when to defer to the other, yahknow?

well,, k18 is canon and it gives us a pretty solid amount of information about their dynamic as a couple that i really like. 18 fell in love with krillin's kindness, and krillin opened his heart to a former enemy and gave them a home and a place to belong. genuinely you cant tell me this isn't the best canon ship in dragon ball. i wont believe it and i wont trust any of your opinions if you don't think they're objectively the best least toxic family unit.

one of my silly little headcanons is that they actually had a lot of trouble conceiving, so they cherish little marron like she is the whole world. because she is, as all parents should, but when you spend years trying for a baby and finally get some fruit,,, idk its a little different.
