I for one feel like it's nice getting know "young" Satan and seeing this new sprite of his.

I waited for compile the first four days together because making a post for each damn day was becoming tedious lol. Sure it's good for spreading out screenshots but my adhd is k i l l i n g me.

Like good fucking lord Gehenna is always being attacked. I've said this once and I'll say it again like the angels really have fucking beef with Satan it seems. They barely touch the other parts of Hell.

So anyways Gehenna is under fire for a different reason today, it is none other than Sitri that's burning up the entire place and even his sprite is just nothing but blue fire.

In science class ya'll, we remember that blue flames are actually hotter than the orange ones. So I can imagine it's a good thing that Solomon or MC weren't here cause yeah they would of been instantly vaporized.

But all the devils are trying to put the fire out, can't cause water ofc won't help here.

I imagine Sitri's fire is more of a energy/essence sourced fire though so ofc it can't be extinguished by "normal" methods.

AND THEN HERE COMES THE BOO BEAR.

Young Satan is peak I swear. He's spunky, full of life, catty, I feel he's easily annoyed more, and just got that "it" factor. Not to say the older him is drained and used up, but definitely more mature.

So he goes to his demonic monster form, which as far as we've seen he's the only one that has a form like that. I'd like to assume the others do too but don't have to use it as often or at all.

So....why did Sitri burn up Gehenna??

Well it turns out that Sitri wasn't necessarily doing this on purpose.

Normally, our blue haired mr perfect shoes has everything together. Here he doesn't. Phew....Sitri I know something ain't right when your room is as messy as Paimon's (canon stuff that Paimon doesn't keep his room clean lmao)

Like? even Sitri's appearance is all kinds of fucked. Dry cracked lips, fucked up hair, like our baby is not doing well ya'll.

Andddd Belialllllll the bae <3 comes to visit. Jjyu and his loud mouthed self..

What kills me is that Sitri literally was like "I didn't hear you."

WHAT?

And then we find out through Belial writing it down because he didn't want Jjyu making shit worse (good call) that it wasn't Sitri's fault that the recent battle went all wrong and a lot of devils were killed in the process.

Sitri feels responsible for their deaths and is spiraling right now overthinking the past and thinking how it could have been better.

I feel sorry for him, because there was a time in my life where I would do the same and basically be so deep in my regret and guilt I neglected my health, my surroundings, my friendships...pretty much everything. It wasn't a good time so I know what Sitri is going through.

We even hear him mention that Zagan was badly injured (Astaroth too)

Jjyu shut the hell up omg lmaooooo

(him in response to Sitri explaining that Zagan could barely speak he was hurt so badly) Belial glares at him for that btw lmao

Satan also got injured it seems so it sounds like this battle went really bad.

Sitri even asks to be alone, and well Belial gets it and leaves promptly. I really like seeing Belial be more interactive this go around because we barely get that from the Gehenna devils in the main story and the last event in Gehenna was mostly just Minhyeok and Ppyong.

This gives me an insight as to how Belial is in personality, and really aside from Jjyu, he's really just chill and seems very pleasant to be around in general. I wish we could see what his eyes look like. It would change me forever.

So we're at the meeting that happens a few days later and well Sitri is still in a sullen mood. Since Zagan and Astaroth are out of commission, Amy was invited to come.

Oh so it seems Amy is going to be popping up since we got introduced. That's pretty nifty.

And Leraye is definitely worried about Sitri, wondering if he's sleeping, eating, and his condition has gotten worse. I imagine Sitri hasn't sleep in days since the event.

Paimon tries to lighten the mood but bless his heart it doesn't work when...

Amy starts going off about Sitri ordering him and his men to go east, and well that was the wrong call this time. I see it as a simple miscalculation but in the heat of war...perhaps things like this can't just be mistakes. lives are at stake, and devils aren't being re-produced anymore. Their extinction is literally inevitable during these battles.

Even if it weren't, lives were still lost and Amy takes this personally because it was HIS men who were affected the most.

I guess this seemed like the "best" time to bring up why Amy hates Sitri so much but it's like???? "because he looks like a girl?"

I'm just going to take this as Amy just not liking how elegant Sitri is with everything and how it compares to his rough and rash behavior. I don't think he truly would care if anyone looks more feminine.

And well because Amy started some shit, Sitri took a piece of paper, spat in it and threw it at Amy. So naturally...here we are.

Now a couple things about this scene...Zagan is present...and then there's a random devil there which this a private meeting for the nobles so why????

idk....let's just keep going lol

So Amy goes on to further berate Sitri and saying that he's aware that him and his subordinates have to follow orders once they get them from the center, so if the orders were better thought out his men wouldn't of died.

Sitri tells him why doesn't he kill him then since it was as if he did it himself and Amy is all like ????

And here we see more of their banter dynamic and it's almost as if Amy literally just holds back and only fights with words. Sitri physically maims and does things to him just as we saw in the previous event.

He even broke his wrist here like damn. And came in like-

Like good lord Sitri chill

And then Sitri starts to smack the shit out of him and cuss him out some more and Paimon stops the fight because Amy is literally about to give him a concussion at this point. Paimon invited Amy because he felt it would be good to go over the battle with him there but he realizes all it did was make things worse.

Leraye goes to even try and talk with Sitri to see if he's taking care of himself and well, obviously he's not. He's still focused on the battle and his mistakes.

A few days later happens and Sitri is front and center because Amy pretty much said he isn't listening to him anymore and doing what he thinks is best.

And Sitri isn't doing so hot in battle either. He's shooting without a plan or strategy, other devils are just standing around. Yes angel's are dying but he's just...doing whatever and hasn't had proper sleep or anything.

He's such a mess Satan had to come in and kick his ass in the middle of battle and set him straight.

So it's safe to say that Satan doesn't like tasteless and useless anger. There has to be a purpose for your anger and for him to thrive on it and he just ain't diggin' it from Sitri at the moment.

Oh boy...I don't have a good feeling about that.

So we go back to the time when Gehenna was up in flames. We have Leraye snippin' and doin' his thing and Ppyong helping with bringing over bullets. They then notice Sitri on the battlefield and he seems to be killing every single angel accurately but....our boy Leraye knows best.

He tells Ppyong to STOP Sitri because this isn't a planned attack, he is literally killing everyone that gets in his range. Doesn't matter if it's angel or devil.

Sitri is literally so damn tired he can't even notice or care anymore and is just going at it.

And that's when everyone notices the flames at the same time. They are erupting from Sitri's body.

Belial even uses his hoarse voice to call out to Sitri and we know that's serious.

And sorry like I know that Sitri is in a bad place and bad spot rn but he looks so pretty here. The blue and pink contrasts are definitely a Sitri signature look.

But yeah that fire is way too hot for anyone to do anything. Even Leraye is told that he can't help. So Ppyong runs off to find Amy to help.

Leraye does attempt though, but it's no use, and Paimon had to come and save him. (they're so cute I love them)

And ya'll it was THREE damn days that fires were going and THREE days that Sitri was like that just in the middle of the square. Also...damn why did it take three days for Ppyong to go find Amy? (he explains later that the teleportation talisman just couldn't keep up with Amy)

But the Gehenna bois are all going over how they don't blame Sitri, they blame themselves for letting him hold that weight of being responsible for everything that happens. It's that weight that led to his current state and now things were worse off for everyone but they feared most for Sitri's life and well-being.

But Amy finally shows up and well his attempts to help the situation were hopeful at first...but sadly...

Amy gets stabbed in the stomach with one of the iron maiden spikes...which at this point are surrounding Sitri like vines to protect him. This raw power is actually quite impressive if it weren't ya know killing everyone around him in a blind haze.

I wonder if he was able to tap into that while training in Hades?

But...yeah I was rooting for Amy to bring him back here because you know frenemies and stuff like that (or for those who ship them only Amy can bring him back)

BUT Satan comes to the rescue!

Poor Amy, I swear he's always gettin' tossed around and shit lol

Also as many times Amy has been slashed and punctured in the stomach you would assume he'd never recover from that.

But we have something important here that I'd like to talk about for a minute that Satan reveals...

He mentions that Sitri is dealing with depression and that he must have gotten it from him. If we remember from his info card he is the embodiment of depression in Hell. He is depression. So his right hand devil that's always around him? Yeah eventually he's gonna get bit by the bug.

And I like that Satan isn't the typical representation of depression either. He always seems upbeat, active, and doing everything and anything. But as we have seen in the main story he has emotional wounds that haven't healed and he wonders if they will. He was speaking of the loss of Solomon, but I'm sure there's more to it than that which existed way before he even met him.

Now we see that Sitri is literally not taking care of himself, wallowing, self destructing, that's what most folks usually see and demonize when folks are going through IRL depression. They never seem to pay attention to the person who has it all together because why would they have depression? they're doing fine right?

So here we are...knowing the source. And why Satan has decided to be the one to save Sitri. And well since he can't do that as himself he has to transform to his monster form to do it.

I'd just like to bring up that he's so damn cute here. The jokester.

But it seems that Satan doesn't take his monster form often. We've seen it first when he met Solomon to test him, we see it when he fights Mammon that one time in one of the comics iirc, and we see it now.

I wonder when was the first time he ever had to use his monster form?

But either way, he carries Sitri out of the flames, and even though Sitri is still on fucking fire burning on his back Satan can handle it. Even Astaroth is concerned and comes to see if Satan is okay.

Satan starts traveling somewhere..."where memories flicker" to go put out the fire though, and everyone is following him.

Satan keeps mentioning that Sitri kept a promise to him that he wouldn't die. And I think we will get to the root of that soon.

And that's when we go to a F L A S H B A C K

So...with this bit of info this is what I've gathered-

-Satan, Belphie, Mammon, and Leviathan all were already here before Lucifer was

-Gehenna was not in existence yet, but Tartaros and Hades were

-This possibly happened around the same time that Mammon was trapped (or after)

But overall so far I think I'm learning a lot about Sitri in a way I'd like to know more about Bael or Foras tbh since they are the right hand devils. I know we had a Niflheim event that showed Beleth, but I want to know what it is he did to fall to Hell and what that scar around his neck is about. And for those who didn't get Beel's bathcard we do get some of Bael's lore in there but only a crumb.

But alas...possibly may or may not get this but we'll see...

i'm having more poolverine thoughts.

so this is how i imagine their relationship to go:

they get settled into living with each other, they get close, they're friends, yay !

then they start developing feelings for each other and things happen and then they're dating.

i don't think they'd start going around telling everyone immediately because it's kind of a fragile situation with how they both are, yk what i mean? i could probably explain this more but i'm not going to at this second.

it starts out a little toxic/dysfunctional. they are not doing well and will not react to things well based on their respective relationship traumas, and trauma in general. i see Wade as very clingy and has abandonment issues, while Logan fucking runs whenever anything happens. if he thinks there's a situation where he could hurt Wade, he's removing himself from it immediately. Wade is going to start losing his mind at this because 1. he's not that fragile, he can handle himself. and 2. he's going to start feeling rejected. AND MAYBEEE it's me projecting but we know how ADHD and RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria) go hand in hand. and he's gonna worry that he did something wrong to make Logan distance himself.

they both place a lot of fault on themselves, and it's going to fuck them up. they're also absolutely shit at communication until it builds up and explodes.

so: it explodes.

it's not fun, it's not the healthiest way to get from point A to point B, but basically a lot of things get cleared up in this Explosion (fight maybe? idk what would happen necessarily. but explosion.) they understand the motives behind each other's actions and realize they need to get their shit together. and they reassure each other a lot afterwards and feel better about things.

so they work on it! because they've lost too fucking much for this to fall through. they're stuck to each other forever now, they're going to make it last even if it kills them permanently.

it doesn't happen overnight ofc but yeah, they get better at communicating and not being overly reactive. they're both messes but they can be messes together <3

they have a healthy relationship! yayyyy !! other people might not see it the same way though because they're fucking insane and they show their affection in weird ways.

and yeah my last post on the duality of man applies here. they can be so soft and cozy and gentle, and then beat the shit out of each other when they need to expel some energy. also. other things. but anywayyy

bc Logan, from what i understand, is really kind with his partners, but also Wade is. Like That. and also can't get hurt in a way that matters, so while Logan doesn't necessarily enjoy hurting people, he knows that Wade spurs him on on purpose, and even likes it, so he doesn't worry about it too much. they know they love each other and nothing they do is out of malice, and that's all that matters.

but yeah take all my words with a grain of salt, i haven't seen all the x-men movies and don't have as good of a grasp on Logan's character as i'd like to, so this might be off, but it's how they are in my head, so !!!

SO: Caine is still the ringmaster, and the others may or may not be there, but for what I was specifically thinking, this is a sort of replace-the-cast thing. The most obvious two are Gordon as Pomni and Coomer as Kinger. I was thinking Bubby could be a Zooble equivalent, Benrey as Jax, and Tommy as Ragatha. Darnold would be left in Gangle's spot (though the two are nothing alike), and Forzen would have been Kaufmo.

I picked and chose names based on how weird they were GFDHJSAK

So, normal names like Gordon or Tommy got replaced, while unconventional ones like Benrey and Bubby are the same.

Leodoll is a play on Leo, meaning lion, and doll, which is. obvious.

Asher Blau literally means "happy blue." They're both Jewish names (from what I understand, PLEASE tell me if I'm wrong here), and of course Asher is a double play on Ash, like fire.

Beybend is a play on "Beyblade," while also suggesting Tommy's new flexibility

Benji Calzone is funny

Gotcher is a play on tamogotchi and Kinger's name (or, the last part of Coomer's original name)

The designs are also a play on their personalities, going off the theory for the show that that's the case (like Ragatha being a bit of a doormat and Jax being a jackass)

Gordon: Plush lion. Fierce, brave, and strong, but also a huge softie. Makes others feel better and/or safe.

Bubby: Mime action figure. Going off the idea of him being in the tube like how mimes usually start their routines pretending to be in boxes. Also his joints CAN detatch and re-attach, so something something symbolism somthing he was built instead of born something

Tommy: Heavily inspired by Betty Spaghetty. Literally really flexible, playing into the idea of him having really good instincts/adaptability.

Benrey: LEGO ass. Wanted to play into the idea of his shapeshifting, and also stepping on LEGOs sucks and you KNOW he'd find that funny. Moves like Queen Whatevawanabe (how do you spell her name?) from The Lego Movie 2. Also I liked the idea of he and Gordon being opposites: Gordon is soft, Benrey is hard. You cannot really change Gordon's appearance at all, Benrey's is MEANT to be changed, ect. I like stuff like that idk

Coomer: Tamogatchi. Easy. You ever seen Wreck-It Ralph? He moves like the Nicelanders from that movie, but with a lot more casual glitching. His speech pattern is basically identical to canon. My guy has ADHD and a terrible memory, so although he's kind, he's not super reliable. He's been here for a LONG time.

I do not know what Forzen and Darnold would look like.

Sunkist is one of those lil ducklings on wheels little kids play with, but ofc a dog instead of a duck.

If/when Joshua shows up, Gordon would be SO upset. Relieved as well, but mostly concerned. I was thinking he could either be a lion, too, cuz the idea of a lion cub is SO CUTE, but I think him being a horse makes more sense for his personality. Cowboy horsie!

Before anyone asks, yes, Gordon DOES run on all fours if he wants to be faster

aita for not giving someone the wifi password and not telling my parents about it when they asked?

this happened a while ago and ik it sounds trivial but i feel so damn guilty and i just need to know if i did something wrong (fake names used ofc)

so about seven or eight months ago a friend of mine (liz, 16f at the time, now 17) was brought to our house. child protection services had taken her and her two brothers (they're all adopted, but one of the boys is her biological brother, who i'll call james) from their parents because the boys did something to their neighbor's dogs and were found wandering all over town at night. i'm not sure exactly what as i've never been told, but i deeply suspect it was something sexual. i'm not sure. about a week before this, my friend's dogs were brought over here, again because cps wanted them removed.

so my friend is now staying with me (16f) and my twin sister sister (anna). we have a large "closet" that is really more of an attic than anything, so we put liz in there because our house is small and we didn't want her sleeping on the couch.

for about a month, things went pretty well. we had a good time! we hung out a lot, and she told me about some volunteer firefighting she did, and also some farming stuff she did with her adoptive uncle (this is important for later). but she had a secret cellphone (her parents weren't big on cellphones and they were kinda strict) that she used to do social media behind their backs. most importantly, she was talking to an older guy (axel, 28m) via snapchat. anna and i have autism and adhd and are kinda clueless about some things, so we didn't think it was such a big deal at the time. so when she asked for the wifi password, i thought nothing of it. one day when my mom asked if she had a phone, i told her no bc liz asked me not to tell my parents and i thought being loyal to her was the right thing

well, one day, liz found her biological family via facebook and started contacting them

from what little i've heard, liz and james were taken from their bio parents because the mom was an alcoholic and doing drugs, and the dad was abusing them. they never visited the kids once. but now this mom is telling liz that she wants the kids back, and because of this, liz really wanted to go back to her bio family, even though they lived in another state that was pretty far away.

so she goes up to my mom and tries to talk to her about it. also, cps came by again and said liz couldn't sleep in the room she'd been sleeping in anymore because it had no windows and thus no fire escape. and my mom found out about the phone and the older guy she was talking to. things finally got so stressful that my parents had to have liz moved to another home about an hour away

now here's why i think i was the asshole. apparently, liz had been lying to me A LOT. she never actually did the firefighting work (she did some cooking for them. that's it) and when she said she knew how to milk a cow, she actually didn't know how, AND THEN WENT ON TO MILK OUR COW ANYWAY. IN FRONT OF MY DAD. it was insane and it made anna and i freak out because we have a hard time making friends sue to previous bullying issues at a school we'd gone to

later on i overheard my mom telling my dad that she was afraid that the bio parents were trying to groom her or something, and they didn't know i'd heard that. so now i'm afraid that i'm responsible for my friend leaving and all that. also, since she's left, liz has gone on to refuse to go back to her adoptive parents and has basically made their lives hell. and she keeps getting james upset by trying to convince him into thinkking that he should want to go back to the bio parents

so am i the asshole for hiding stuff frmo my parents?

-mitch is an extremely sweet and understanding person. when you guys first started becoming friends and when you started dating, you explained everything to him.

-by explaining i mean telling him how certain things affect you, how you act towards certain things, what makes you comfy and uncomfy.

-he made sure to listen and understand what you meant. mitch is a vocal yet well kept person, so he doesn’t really have problems asking when he doesn’t get something you say

-he also made sure not to ask to much or push anything further, he knows how hard it can be so he immediately educated himself to better understand.

-i feel like he can relate to some of the triggers you have or things you absolutely love.

-as neurodiversity is a bigger factor to depression, when you have downtimes, he makes sure to stay by your side but also give you space when needed

-if you guys are out in public, say at awards, he’s definitely making sure you’re 100% near him at all times. he doesn’t want you out of his line of sight, just to protect you.

-he loves you!! don’t forget that!! anything that you think are flaws, he sees them as perfection im telling you. mitch is extremely honest, so it goes perfect!!

-textures and sounds can play a huge roll in your life, so he makes sure he knows what you like and don’t like. such as soft texture and scratchy texture (i don’t really like that either).

-one of his favorite things about you, and there’s thousands, is when you just randomly start singing. like he’ll just be chilling with you on the couch, you both on your phones, and you just start singing. it’s like music to his ears, which it pretty much is music.

-your voice calms him down when he’s the one that’s had a bad day, and everyone has one no matter who you are and it’s normal. that’s why he always wants to be near you. you give him the comfort he needs and wants.

-when you move or fidget a lot, he calmly asks if everything’s okay and if you need him to do something or help you. i feel like that’s what he’d be like during the start and mid friendship and relationship.

-the longer you stayed with him, the more normal it was for him to know what to do. practice makes perfect and mitch lives by that, as hes also a hockey player and you need practice for that.

-overall, mitch understands you and loves you for who you are. and it’ll stay that way forever!

These asks speak to me as someone who also has ADHD lol. I hope I do these hc's some justice!

Michael is one of the first people in your life to actually seek to understand your ADHD and help you with it, instead of just getting mad when you exhibit symptoms that make life difficult. It's a total breath of fresh air, and at first, you're a little worried that the other shoe is gonna drop and you're gonna act too neurodivergent for him. Spoiler alert: there's no other shoe

Your emotions are so intense, and Michael often has to remind you to take a couple of breaths and revisit these feelings in a few minutes, rather than letting them take over and ruin your mood. He's almost always right that you'll have a clearer mind after doing that

I tend to get the "zoomies" with my ADHD, where I'm suddenly buzzing and feeling really goofy and like I want to bounce around. Michael finds it fun to join in on the zoomies with you, which usually ends with both of you wrestling on the floor and just acting like a couple of kids

Likes going on walks with you when you're feeling overwhelmed

Always carries a pair of earbuds for you in case you get too overstimulated in public and need to turn music on and tune out your surroundings

(Considering a large part of ADHD is forgetfulness, you're eternally grateful for this because you usually forget to bring earbuds with you)

Has started actually cooking meals so that you can get out of the cycle of forgetting to eat, eating a bunch of random snacks, and forgetting again. Cooking quickly becomes an activity that you do together, and you really enjoy it. When you eat better, you feel better!

Breathes with you whenever you're feeling anxious or overwhelmed

Reminds you to take your meds (he sets up an alarm on your phone because, predictably, you've forgotten to do so)

If he notices you picking at your skin, he'll gently grab your hands to get you to stop

Encourages your hyperfixations and is more than happy to listen as you excitedly explain whatever it is, but also helps to pull you out of that hole so you can eat, sleep, and not burn your eyes staring at a computer or a TV or a video game

Doesn't get mad at you for accidentally talking over him or repeatedly asking "what?" before whatever he's said computes in your head 0.1 seconds later

He took it personally the first time that he tried to touch you when you were overstimulated and you pulled away with him, but only because he thought you were mad at him. Now, he always looks at you before going to touch you, waiting for you to nod before he grabs your hand or hugs you

Is currently fighting a losing battle when it comes to trying to help you sleep normally and through the night. He's tried all the tricks that people recommend: going to bed earlier, having a routine, taking melatonin, keeping electronics out of the bedroom. Nothing works, and it's frustrating for both of you, but you deal

Is always reassuring you that he loves you and that you're not doing anything wrong. You tend to worry a lot, and he wants to make sure that you never doubt him or what he's feeling or thinking

Loves you completely and wholeheartedly, even on the bad days

hahaha I am about to fucking light myself on fire

so like for the last two years my doctors have been trying to get me to lose weight because apparently the only thing that will fix my idiopathic cranial hypertension is weight loss OR a spinal shunt, which they also keep acting like a shunt is like some sort of life-ruining medical procedure that I absolutely do not want to undergo so that's fun and not giving me severe anxiety

but like losing weight is NOT going well bcs it turns out I have a LOT of trauma from growing up severely food insecure and trying to restrict my food intake any further than I already do legit triggers my ptsd and makes me freak out which is GREAT

though it's a fun paradox because it makes me freak out in a way where I just stop eating, like them constantly saying I'm "overweight" makes me want to stop eating forever, like just thinking too hard about it makes me shut down and not eat all day until my fiance makes me and I have no idea how to process any of that (like I'm not kidding just seeing the word "overweight" on my referral is making me want to die)

and I keep trying to eat healthier but that's not going well bcs I'm disabled and I have adhd so I already only eat two meals a day if that, like I legit only started reliably eating breakfast six months ago or so, and I can't just Not Eat so the food I make needs to be easy and that means like freezer waffles and uncrustables and frozen dinners and ramen and boxed macaroni and shit right stuff they keep telling me NOT to eat

and also this year we've been pretty poor due to my fiance losing his job so like I CANNOT afford healthy food sometimes like it is just frozen dinners or nothing

which is also frusterating bcs my neurologist and primary doctor's only suggestion for how to lose weight is not eating like I'm not kidding my neurologist just told me to skip lunch and my primary suggested intermitent fasting which like!! I ALREADY DON'T EAT THREE MEALS A DAY AND THAT'S NOT WORKING SO???

and like I know there is nothing wrong with being fat or having any body size at all, but I'm only like 150lbs which is apparently, according to every doctor I've seen, way lower than the threshold when this is supposed to become a problem, like they KEEP saying "we just don't see this problem in people your size" and it just makes me want to scream bcs then ofc they're like "but you should lose weight" cuz like you can't have it both ways fucker!! it's either a weight problem or it isn't!!

and on top of all of this not only did one of my dogs die, my other one's health has basically degraded to the point where he's gonna have to go too and like WOW try managing all that fucking nightmare shit while also trying to manage all of my health problems and lose weight it's fucking hard okay

and ALSO we are legit only just getting my sleep schedule under control bcs I just Don't Sleep and have nightmares constantly when I do, and the only thing I had that helped was my dog because she was a german shepherd and for the last 10 years every time I've been anxious at night I just think about how she would protect me or at least let me know if something was wrong but she's gone now and my other dog is deaf and basically blind and has severe dementia so he can't protect me

and all of that anxiety stems from trauma from an attempted break in that happened like 10 years ago when I was home alone with nothing but my dogs to protect me so like, they were my safety blanket and now one's dead and I just can't fucking deal with it and I know once my other dog is gone I'm just going to be having debilitating anxiety every single time I try to sleep so yay

so like yeah try losing weight when you're basically falling apart at the seams due to all of these fucking problems (and I don't have a scale in my house because I know it would be unhealthy and make me lose my mind so I can't be sure but I'm pretty confident that I've actually gained weight recently which is making me feel SO MUCH WORSE)

anyway the final breaking point is apparently that my insurance doesn't cover a nutritionist, so if I want to go to one, which with all of this trauma and adhd and shit I should probably go to someone who can at least help me figure out how to eat, so if I want to go I have to pay $75 for the consultation and then $50 for every follow up appointment and I just do not have that kind of money with my fiance's new job paying less and having to cover all of these medical expenses for my pets(bcs we just had to deal with a serious infection my cat had and that shit was not cheap lemme tell you) but like I NEED to go see this doctor

idk man sure makes me want to curl up and fucking die

SO I actually head canon Leo with anxiety and maybe an eating disorder, Logan with some depression, and Finn with ADHD. It’s also kinda cannon that Finn hates clothes and I hc him with maybe some sensory issues? Is it me projecting? Maybe. That being said, this is written from my own experiences and does not mean that’s how it is for everyone. But I do love the representation and please please PLEASE be careful reading if this hits too close to home.

Okay, as I partially reread this to proof it (and did so terribly, sorry lol) I think I wrote something spookily similar not terribly long ago… aaaaannd yep, I just looked but it was about Sirius. Leo was having a rough go of it; his boys could tell. He always seemed on edge lately and wasn’t eating much. All Leo ate was the same three things, cereal, pizza, and pasta. Not meat, nothing he had never tried before, and anything crunchy and snacky offered to him was met with a solid “No”.

Every time his boys asked, he said he was fine, and they weren’t sure how to help him or what even was wrong. It was starting to create some tension between the three. His boys only wanted to help him and Leo kept shutting them out.

This morning Leo defaulted to his bowl of Cheerios after hardly having anything for dinner. Of course, his boys had noticed he was off and tried to bring it up with him while they were getting ready for practice.

“Hey, Le?” Finn asked tentatively.

“Hmm?” Leo responded, busy pulling a hoodie over his faded Lions tee.

“Are you, uh… sure you’re up for practice? Today?”

“Why wouldn’t I be?”

“You…” Logan jumped into the conversation, “You just seem a little… off, is all.” He said, coming up behind his younger boyfriend, trying to wrap his arms around Leo’s waist.

Leo only shrugged him off, moving to sit on their bed to but his socks on. “I’, fine. Just a bit tired, I guess.” He sounded a bit irritated.

“Not sleeping well?” Finn offered, sitting down next to him, arm moving to rub Leo’s back.

Leo shot up from the bed, again avoiding his boyfriends’ touch. “Yeah. I guess. Can we go? We’ll be late.”

Finn and Logan shared a concerned look as Leo left the bedroom.

“We need to talk to him. Or… Get him to talk to us. Why won’t he talk to us, Lo?”

Logan moved to sit on the bed next to Finn and wrap him up in a hug. “I don’t know. Let’s just get though practice and see if we can talk to him tonight. Or maybe we get Cap to talk to him. He messaged me after practice yesterday asking what was Leo’s deal after he nearly walked out of practice.”

“Cap asked? What’d you tell him?” Finn asked, pulling away to sit up and take a composing breath.

“I told him Leo’s just been off, and that we’d talk to him… And that we may need his help? It’s just, we haven’t been able to get him to talk to us all week, and I, I don’t know. If he won’t talk to us, maybe Cap will know what to say to get him to open up.”

“No, I think that was a good call. If he won’t talk to us, he should talk to someone. Come on, lets get our shoes on and out the door before he decided to walk to the rink, again.”

Leo seemed to loosen up a bit at practice. He still kept ducking away from anyone trying to touch him, which everyone started to notice, and Talker even sent a raised eyebrow look to Finn and Logan, who only responded with shrugs and apologetic sad smiles.

After warm-ups, Coach split everyone up into two teams for a scrimmage game. Leo ended up on Logan’s team, along with Cap. Leo was in goal for all of ten minutes and had already let in three goals.

“Nutty, get your head in the game. Or, ya know, keep letting me score, I’m good with that.” Talker joked, after scoring again, skating away backwards towards Finn near center ice. Leo stood up from his goal, pulling his helmet off. He started to turn around to get a drink from his water bottle and wobbled on his skates a little.

“Leo? You alright man?” Talker asked.

“Yeah,” Leo said, closing his eyes and turning back around, still looking a little unsure on his skates, “I’m… fine-” Leo whispered out as he seemed to get really dizzy, then collapsed in front of his goal.

His boys were there in no time, sitting him up and trying to hand him his water bottle, telling him to drink, and breath.

Cap skated over, taking a knee by them as the rest of the team gave them some space.

“Alright, Nut, what’s going on. First yesterday and now this.”

“He just hasn’t been sleeping-” Finn tried to explain but was cut off by Sirius.

“No, Finn. I asked him. What’s the matter? Don’t think this entire team hasn’t noticed you being off all week, and then you go and collapse? Non. That’s not okay, Leo. I know I don’t have the authority to bench you, but I think Coach would back me up on this. Get it together. I don’t care if you need to sleep for two days straight, or get laid, eat cake, or talk to Heather. Talk to your boys, they care and I can see you’re icing them out. Just… I don’t mean to scold you, Nut, but you haven’t been you lately and we need you on the ice at a hundred percent for the Habs game next week, yeah?”

Despite the light scolding, Sirius’ eyes were incredibly patient and caring. He gave Leo a few pats on the shoulder as he got up.

“Why don’t you guys get him off the ice for the day.” Sirius said, skating back to the team, no doubt telling them something to the effect of, he’s fine, just didn’t sleep well, because Cap was nothing if not one to keep the drama out of it.

Leo’s boys helped him back to the locker room in silence. Once the heavy door fell shut behind them, Leo broke down crying.

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I just can’t. I’m sorry.” Leo wheezed out between sobs.

Finn and Logan helped guide him to the floor and sat on either side of him.

“You have nothing to be sorry for, Peanut.” Finn soothed him, brushing the hair out of his face. “Just… trust us. What’s going on with you, Le?”

“I…” Leo gasped out. His boys just held him. Eventually, his sobs subsided and the moved to get in a quick shower before heading home. Leo stayed under the hot spray by himself after his boys left to get dressed. He just needed some time to himself to collect his thoughts and figure out how to explain everything he was feeling… and he was feeling a lot.

Leo left the warm embrace of the steamy shower to get dressed slowly, in minimal clothing. Basketball shorts, sans boxers, and a muscle tank. He just… couldn’t handle the feeling of clothes, they all just seemed too itchy.

Sure, he was a little cold for the ride home but as soon as they got into the apartment, Leo found their softest throw banket and wrapped himself up and tucked himself in the corner of their sectional.

“Cold, Peanut?” Logan laughed, as he moved to sit next to his younger boyfriend and open his arms in an invitation to cuddle.

Leo leaned into him as Finn brought some water bottles from the kitchen. “So, what do we want for dinner?”

“Pasta.” Leo mumbled into Logan’s shoulder.

“Again? You sure, Le?” Finn asked, settling down on Logan’s other side.

“Can’t eat anything else.” Leo continued to mumble his responses into Logan’s shoulder.

“Why is that, sweetheart?” Finn asked, voice soft.

He was being incredibly patient, and Leo couldn’t stand it. He stood up suddenly, blanket still draped around his shoulders, and started pacing in front of his boys.

“Why? You’re not even going to fight me on this? Aren’t you sick of it? Of me? Cause I’m sick of it! Sick of all my clothes being just this side of too stiff and itchy, the texture of food being off-putting, and always alwaysworrying about everything and feeling too much and like everything around he in drowning me and I can’t breathe. I…” Leo stopped pacing and sank to his knees on the floor, crying now. “I… it’s all overwhelming and I don’t know what to do to make it stop.”

“Oh Nutty, baby.” Finn moved to kneel by the younger boy. “Hey, it’s alright. The weight of the world is not on your shoulders. I know it seems like it is, but it isn’t.”

“B- But-” Leo tried to stuttered out.

Logan moved to join them on the floor. “Non, mon amour, no buts. It’s not on you.”

“There’s just,” Leo hiccupped, “Just a lot. Hockey and you guys, and my ma and dad back home, and I just miss them. And there’s all this pressure to be good and I just don’t know how to haddle it all right now.”

“Hey, shh, can I hold you?” Finn offered his arms.

“Please.” Leo said, falling into Finn’s arms.

Logan moved to wrap them both up in a hug, where they stayed for a few quiet minutes.

Eventually, Leo just whispered, “I don’t know what to do.”

“That’s okay, sweetheart. We’ll help you.” Finn whispered back. “And I think we should start with Lo giving you cuddles on the couch, it’ll be much more comfy than the floor, and I’ll make pasta. AND before you give me any lip, I am at least capable of boiling water, sir, thank you very much.:

That seemed to startle a chuckle out of Leo and he nodded. The two younger boys moved to curl up together on the couch as Finn went to the kitchen to start dinner.

After they had eaten and gotten ready for the night, the three boys got into bed, Leo claiming Logan’s coveted middle spot. They settled in, limbs tangled, and breathing in tandem until they were nearly asleep.

“I think…” Leo whispered. “I think I should do what Sirius said.”

“Which one? Get laid? Because that can be arranged.” Finn joked.

“I mean, that too. But I mean I think I should talk to Heather. Maybe she could help. I don’t know.”

“You know we’ll support you, Le.” Logan piped up. “Whatever we can do. And… I mean I saw her my first year with the team. I still think I should go again but, I don’t know. I… Didn’t want you guys to think that it wasn’t something you could help with, because you do help, more than you know, but… I don’t know. I’m just tired.”

“Lo’s right we’re here for you. We’re a team, yeah?”

The other two nodded in agreement and curled up for the night, surrounded by each other and knowing that whatever struggles tomorrow brought, they would face them together.

aaaa this is quite long!! also i apologize for it sitting for a while, this was p tough but i do love both of the boys sm :,) !!

memory:

what memory are they most fond of? 

-sam: sam remembers one of the first friends he ever made when he was still living in zuzu city! his friend’s parents kinda doubled as his own, and saw his friend’s dad as a father figure when kent was away! his friend’s dad was super big on music and taught his son how to play a few instruments, and sam really loved how close they all were! his friend’s dad bought him his first acoustic guitar :,)

-seb: when him and sam were younger robin allowed sam to come on a camping trip with them!! it was the first time sam and seb really were close for an extended period of time and they were able to do some stuff on their own for the first time!! seb remembers sam being suuuper bad at fishing and struggling to start a fire (despite say he was the best at both)... the whole trip is a fun memory for him!

what memory bothers them? 

-sam: his mom blew up on him and vincent for something super small. sam was old enough to piece together she wasn’t upset with them, but was just stressed about kent. vincent didn’t understand what he had done wrong and took it really bad, and was kinda distant from jodi for a little bit just because he was scared to make her mad again.

-seb: anything that has to do with his father! he tries to repress it as much as possible instead of dealing with it, but sometimes he’ll have a good memory with his father come up and then feels guilty for resenting him! 

what is something from the past they've learned from? 

-sam: always check up on everyone! if someone seems like they’re struggling.. even a little.. he’ll offer some help or at least some encouraging words. he learned esp with sebastian and keeping in tune with him, but it works for when his mom is super stressed too!

-seb: not to waste his breath on those that don’t deserve it! he’ll be the bigger person and not fight with others on trivial stuff that has no real outcome. he’s not one for confrontation anyway, but if someone’s looking for someone to back them up, it’s not gonna be him. 

what is a memory that always makes them laugh?

-sam: these 2 are connected, but def sometime he pranked seb. anytime he’s made seb (lightheartedly, ofc) annoyed he enjoys it. he lives to innocently mess with others and finds the funniest moments are where he’s successfully caught someone off guard. but, there was a time when he was younger kent got stuck on a water slide… he doesn’t let kent live that down, despite knowing the slide was built for kids. 

-seb: i think canonically seb smiles thinking about how sam is leading in community service hours and i thiiink another dialogue is similar to that. it seems like memories with sam make him chuckle if they cross his mind! sam launching snowballs accidentally into lewis’ face, tripping over his own feet in front of penny.. etc

teach:

what is one thing they wish to teach the world? 

-sam: not so much the world, but he’d love to teach vincent to be himself as he is!! and to pursue what he wants no matter what jodi or anyone would say against it!!

-seb: he hopes that as he is… people will learn to be more compassionate and not jump to conclusions about a person. he knows he’s a likable guy, just hopes sometimes people will learn to see past his faults.

what is something they think is important that isn't taught at school? 

-sam: mental health!! i think he’d be a big advocate for knowing what’s going on in the head and how to catch certain things early. teach people its ok to breakdown!! there’s nothing wrong with needing a break and taking it easy… teach kids that it’s okay to be upset. 

-seb: honestly? computer sciences. i mean you have keyboarding and such but like? viruses, simple stuff like settings and such? not touched on a lot! he gets so sick doing simple tasks for people sooo often, esp when it’s like basic stuff! gotta teach some computer smarts (so no one bothers him when he’s busy lsdkflkds)

what is something they wish they knew earlier? 

-sam: lifes too short to mope around and be upset about insignificance things!! gotta look at the positives in bad situations and take nothing for granted! his dad being away kinda taught him a lot about mortality, and now makes sure to appreciate the little things!

-seb: people do care about him. he’s more secure with his friends now, but it took him years to warm up and not feel like a burden/annoyance to them. he now knows if he does feel down both abby and sam are ready to jump to his side… even if he doesn’t think he’ll leave a ~lasting impact~ on the world, he takes comfort he at least brings them some joy from time to time.

what was their best and worst school subject?

-sam: he’s v good at science-y stuff! like the plant/animal part of biology (even stuff like enzymes etc!!) and finds a lot of interest in it!! if he can do like hands on labs he learns the best and its easier to apply his knowledge!

-seb: english! def the english teacher’s fave kid. likes classics and the drama of shakespeare… won’t really read aloud unless he’s called on. he’s super good at grammar and english has always come super easy to him! he also really likes history but only specifics of it.

were they a "good student"? why or why not?

-sam: ohh no. definitely a good bit of that is his adhd, but teachers ofc never really took him seriously. i think he’s v bright and intelligent but.. traditional learning is not for him.

-seb: he’s the kid that got “a pleasure to have in class” on his report card simply bc he never spoke! the kid that the loud and rowdy kids get sat next to to be a ‘good influence’... good grades until he hit his teen years and started feeling.. y’know... gloomy.

i'm not a native english speaker tho so when i try to make my asks as short as possible not to bore people, the meaning of what i wanted to say in the first place changes. i did not mean to imply that lesbians (it was an example, they could be replaced with gays or straights tbh) don't ever have relationships with trans women!! i forgot the word "passing" exists so when i said female bodies, i meant to say a pre-op trans woman who doesn't pass and therefore has a masculine body, which i assumed lesbians wouldn't normally be attracted to (there are trans ppl who manage to look androgynous or like the sex they're aiming to transition to before they do, i mean those who don't—i said it sounded harsh at the end bc it's not something that i say lightly, without knowing how fucked up of a reality it is for trans ppl).

i know there are ppl who can't transition and that there's nothing wrong with that! i'm bi so to me it doesn't really matter, but i was trying to put myself in the shoes of a monosexual person. for example, imagine ariana grande happens to be a trans man. he can't transition bc he's not out, or for whatever reason that is ofc valid, so he has a female body/sex (i mean there's no other word for it, right? femenine? breasts, curves, long hair, etc). would a gay man or a straight woman be attracted to him when he fully looks like a woman? that's the kind of situation i meant. bc of what you told me, now i understand that there are people who don't mind the sex as long as the gender is the one they're attracted to (and that yes, it's wrong to bar pre-transition ppl from relationships), but i meant attraction at first sight, like being attracted to someone you see walking on the street. also, when you say genitals are the core of my point, yes, but i meant to say (again, my bad) that biological sex has a lot to do with attraction because consequences of one sex or the other (secondary sex characteristics) are related to masculinity and femeninity, but i guess that falls more on the preferences side? rather than actual sexuality... idk.

but yes!! going off of passing, then yes, i agree with you! if a person is not passing as their gender, then it's totally understandable for a monosexual person to not be attracted to them. i had misunderstood, and thought you were mainly talking about genitals and not passing/social transitioning! it's completely understandable for a monosexual person to not be attracted to someone who doesn't pass. which is tough for trans people, absolutely, and is one of the reasons why things like depression rates in trans people is so high.

i can piggyback my friends. and like run around as i do it. has happened on many occasions during PE. i just find it fun and anyone who has experienced it found it exhilarating 

i can bridal carry people. come to think of it i might have bridal carried my friends before but not very often. my mom and my sister i have bridal carried and i can dip people as i bridal carry them, so like i hold u at terrifying angles dhfsjdhfsjd 

in my last two years of high school we didn’t have lockers and we were always having different lessons in different classrooms and because i was lazy i would just leave everything in my bag and never packed it to take out stuff i didn’t need for a particular day. so my bag was always Full and one time one of my friends said “i know michelle’s super jacked because her bag is really heavy and every time we leave for next period she just throws it over her shoulder like it’s nothing” and i was like “wait. it’s heavy?” and one of my other friends who prided herself on being strong because she does taekwondo (she can kick you REAL hard) was like “what for real? let me try” and she tried to pick my backpack up from my chair and the weight of my bag dragged her arm and landed on the ground and i was like wtf and then i picked it up like i always do and we left for next class. the conclusion to this anecdote is that my adhd is so strong that my body has to adapt to cope

one time in drama camp we were playing this game where u gotta wear a piece of masking tape around ur wrist like a bracelet and the other team has to rip it off ur hand to eliminate u. anyway the other team ambushed me and was like “haha michelle ur all alone so just Give Up” but i’m competitive so even though there were over 10 people in the other team and they were all there i was like fucking come at me bitches ur not getting this tape off my wrist and so i pissed them off enough into actually ganging up on me not everyone in the group fought me but i’m pretty sure 8 girls actively tried wrestling my tape bracelet away from me at the same time so some of them grabbed my left arm some of them grabbed my right arm. i was holding onto my bracelet with my left hand, and these girls were trying to put their fingers under the bracelet too to like rip it off but i wouldn’t let go. and some people tried to grab my legs but i kicked before they got close so everyone just focused on my arms and hands, but even though they were all trying so hard they could not overpower me. eventually i started feeling sorry for all of them, i didn’t expect to be fighting this many people trying their very best to break my hold and to be just winning. obviously it hurt because they were genuinely using all their strength and it was just. many different hands and fingers tugging on my bones and skin and muscles. i didn’t really feel it but they were all whining about me being too strong and at some point one of them started CRYING. her fingers were stuck under my bracelet trying to pull it off and because other fingers were there too and i was holding on tight she couldn’t move her hand and it hurt so she was crying from the pain. and i was like damn :( ok i should stop defending and try escaping so i ripped my body away from them (i accidentally made a girl fall down during this process, i apologized to her GHHJGFGHJH) and then i ran away. in hindsight what a stupid thing to do but also it was kind of fun but also traumatic a little bit <3

idk if this last one counts as evidence of strength but during like drama camp One Year Later i was chilling with a friend and we walked up to some other friends who had been playing w the school piano. and something was terribly wrong. turns out my mlm best friend (he wasn’t my best friend at the time, this incident is actually what made him declare me his bestie) had been playing the piano and using a video on his phone as reference and something happened and his phone somehow dropped INSIDE the piano. like in the hardware. and upon my arrival my friends had all been trying to get it out for like half an hour at least. they were googling and watching videos and shit to like try. and my friend was so distraught :( he was on the verge of tears because the thought of getting the school involved made him really anxious. and so i was like Must Help Friend so i tried doing stuff too. now i don’t know how i did this but i kind of. ripped the piano apart. like. i just. dismantled something. and i pulled off the part of the piano u use to cover the keys when ur not playing. i just. broke the fucking piano. and everyone was like ??? michelle???? and i saw the phone in this like tiny narrow hole and i reached in and took it out. this happened within like a minute of me showing up. i took his phone out and everyone was like YAY and my best friend was so happy he hugged me. which was a big deal because he told me “i’m muslim and i can’t hug girls because it’s haram” and i was always fine with that but he broke his own rule without me even asking and hugged me :’) and then he sort of held my hand and just RAN which was terrifying because he’s like really tall and my legs are not as long as his and he was running really fast and i was afraid i was gonna fall down. anyway everyone was like michelle what do we do with this broken piano?? like u broke it?? so i just shoved it back in place like forced the hinges so it looked completely normal (but ofc if someone tried to rip it off like i did it would come off easily) and i said “yeah ok it looks like normal now! don’t worry u guys this piano is super old if anyone discovers it they’ll either blame themselves or just the piano being faulty. we probably won’t get in trouble.” and then we didn’t get into trouble :)

What inspired you to rp your muse? — yo sonic was my fucking LIFEBLOOD as a kid. lived and breathed this franchise. sa2 was my first game ever, sonic was my fav character (and still is), so my absolute love for this specific version of him became too much to internalize sooooo here we are ; w ;

What keeps your inspiration going? —  straight up, sonic is probably my biggest comfort character to exist ever. always makes me happy, always makes me feel better when im down, etc. there’s nothing he can’t do that doesn’t make me smile, regardless of how sega treats him. being able to pour my ideas into a character i love so much to the point he becomes really personalized (and personal for me), and it’s actually something people enjoy seeing and interacting with? it gives me so much goddamn sertonin.

2. How easy is it for your character to laugh?

very easy! honestly king usually makes himself laugh more than anything else tho. hes the kind of person who laughs at his own jokes. but honestly all u gotta do is tell like even the world’s shittiest joke to him and he’ll probably start cryin from laughter

he doesnt usually like to think about his past very much and avoids thinking about it as much as possible. he’s not sure what necessarily triggers any nostalgia for him– but when he’s left alone in silence with nothing but his own thoughts, that’s when he starts to think about his childhood, his dad, basically everything, and he hates it. thats why he very much prefers loud environments and likes to be in the company of other people, no matter who it is. he just hates having to think. if he’s ever in a situation where he’s stuck thinking about his past, especially if it has to do with amber kennedy or veronica delgado, he quickly turns to alcohol to drown out all his thoughts.

8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child

his mother absolutely hated his smoking habits. of course, that wasn’t just him tho, bc his dad was a pretty heavy smoker too, but king would often be scolded by his mom because of it– especially when he ever got caught by a teacher smoking in school.

his father would often tell him, “Think before you say or do anything.” (as u can tell, its a lesson that went in one ear, out the other for king. lol) it’s because seeing as his dad was raising him to be a soldato someday, king would need a lot of brains for it. after all, working in the mafia can be very dangerous, and if you piss of the wrong people, you can obviously wind up dead very fast. and needless to say, king has always been skilled at pissing people off.

the whole trial of Amber Kennedy’s murder tbh. that was basically nothing but lies, and how he first was able to get away with killing her for a while in the first place (until the case was reviewed ofc). it still haunts him, but not because he regrets killing Amber or anything, but more because that’s the whole reason his mother lost her job as a lawyer. he feels more bad about that than killing someone.

his fear of water! he sees it as such a silly thing to be deathly afraid of, and never wants to admit it.

he doesn’t really know how to put it into words, but there certainly is a big difference with them. someone he’s romantically attracted to is the kind of person that will make his heart skip a beat or make him easily flustered and be with all day every day!

for platonic, it depends on just how deep that friendship goes– like a simple friendly acquaintance he couldnt really give less of a fuck about, its just someone he can joke around with, but there does come a point where they feel like a second family to him, and he would go into harm’s way to protect that person, so long as it doesn’t put his life at risk.

for familial love, it’s a little complicated with him. King loves all of his family very much, but after all that he did to his parents in his earlier years, he knows that they don’t always feel the same way toward him, or most people in his family are just so disappointed with how he turned out, that he couldn’t handle it– it’s such a big reason why he faked his death and abandoned most of his family aside for a few. he wants to protect them, and to do so, he feels he should just stay away from them. (tbh tho hes probably right his family dont deserve him)

21. Why do they get up in the morning? 

mostly just bc he’s got that Elderly Person Sleep Schedule™ hONESTLY. he goes to sleep very early and wakes up early. for no reason in particular either, it’s just the way he likes. unless, of course, there comes a night where he blacks out drunk, in which case, his sleep schedule is all over the place.

SEEING SOMEONE HE WANTS THE ATTENTION OF HAVING FUN WITH SOMEONE ELSE….. it can be either a friend or a lover, but if they’re having fun without him and completely ignore him, hE’LL GET SO MAD LIKE JFC…… he’s been getting better about it, but it can become scary real fast at some point. he’s very, very possessive and gets jealous VERY easily. mostly just bc he wants all the attention 24/7

A) Why are you excited about this character?

GOD as infuriating as king can be, he’s just so exciting to write!!!!! like, it’s impossible to be in a bad mood when ur writing with king, its so fun.

B) What inspired you to create them?

i wanted to make an oc that looked kinda like Q from Street Fighter, and I also based him heavily on Al Capone! As to how I came up with the alias ‘King’, i literally got it from King from Tekken bc why not. except oc King himself thought of it bc he lived in Kings, New York

C) Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?

not really! king is pretty unpredictable, even for me, but he’s so easy to fit into just about anything.

D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?

ive edited how he looks a LOT tbh. when i first made him, his design was a lot more simple, and he was sKINNY….. and god let me tell u, looking back, seeing king as skinny is so unsettling. his scarred eye also changed a lot, i used to b a lazy ass and just draw a black line through his eye, but now its like FULL ON WIDE-OPEN SLASH THAT FUCKING DESTROYED HIS PUPIL AND IRIS YKNOW… idk just small things like that

E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?

HELL NO……… NOT AT ALL. im the type of person king would be afraid of, and he has a lot of personality traits in him that i dESPISE IN A PERSON……….. like if i met king irl id probably try to fight him honestly.

tbh yes, bc he kinda is meant to be a huge New Yorker dude, and he doesnt fit very well in any verse where he has like magic powers or shit like that bc i can only see him as a plain ass human being tbh??? idk if that makes any sense but. i mEAN I DONT REALLY CARE THO, ILL STILL THROW HIM IN LIKE 100000 VERSES ANYWAY.

not really i think idk????? i mean ive had to revamp his backstory like a SHIT TON SO MANY TIMES, and even now i still sometimes get like huge realizations of his backstory that can definitely change every now and then. and back in the Olden Days™, i used to write him as like this huge moody crybaby, but also someone who had no fears whatsoever and overpowered as fuck and eventually i was like “ok i gotta buckle the fuck down and actually write him the way i see him, tf am i doing :/” and GOD i hate the way i used to write him when i first made him and shit, he had such an edgy backstory and his personality was like “LOL NO WEAKNESSES” but lOOK AT HIM NOW…….. he has come a long way as a character and im happy

Inattention, hyperactivity and impuslivity are just a few symptoms of ADHD and guess what? Stiles does not only take Adderal because of it but he showcased all the symptoms in canon. But ofc according to ur logic (or lack of thereof) it's perfectly safe to assume that a mentally illed character or real person takes a specific medication simply because he likes its taste and their parents let them because teenagers using adderal without prescription makes perfectly sense right? Judging by your bitter, ableist posts, YOU are the one who can't stand Scott not being canonically as brilliant and smart as Lydia, Stiles, Derek or *insert TW character name*. Like, how bitter can you be to ignore canon and claim that a fictional mentally illed character who suffers from ADHD and takes Adderal under medical prescription - otherwise his father and teachers and counselor would NEVER let him - does not have any mental illnes despite the show and the writers proving otherwise?

Of course Stiles is not the only smart person in the show. Lydia, Derek, Peter, Cora, Mason, Allison, Kira, Malia... They are all brilliant and incredibly intelligent according to canon. You are the one who keeps desperately trying to put Scott 'hard working average student at best' Mccall into the same category as them. There's no really need to force other characters' canon traits, abilities and mentall illness onto Scott in order for him to be more interesting, ya know? Chill

You still haven't actually told me what scenes show Stiles' amazing grades. Nor have you come up with a reasonable explanation for all the times Stiles had to have basic things explained to him. Nor have you come up with an explanation for Scott's good grades and periods of academic excellence in the later periods of the show, or come up with an explanation for why Melissa was so confused and shocked that Scott was falling behind at school.

Nor have you actually explained how my argument is in any way invalidated by Stiles having ADHD, given its central point is that whether or not Stiles had ADHD is largely irrelevant. Maybe Stiles has ADHD, maybe he doesn't. Maybe that Adderall was his, maybe he bought it off of someone else.

It does not matter.

That was the entire point of the post. ADHD (a learning disability, by the way, not a mental illness) doesn't magically make someone smarter. Having good grades doesn't mean you're smart, nor does having bad grades mean you're dumb. Some of the smartest kids I've ever tutored had shitty grades because they could never remember their homework, or couldn't keep their attention on their exams in class, or kept getting kicked out of class for being "too disruptive". Are you going to claim that any kid who has low grades is an idiot, even if they have a learning disability?

(Also, seriously, Stiles hid the existence of the supernatural world from his father for half a year and you think he can't hide some Adderall? The teachers don't even know that some of their kids aren't human and are regularly involved in mass murder plots, how hard do you think it is to hide drugs from them?)

And I think you may actually be mixing me up with someone else, because I never once tried to imply Scott has a learning disability of any kind. I honestly am just baffled as to where you got that idea. Presumably, the same place where you think I'm the one making Scott a "special snowflake" when you're the one who is cowardly hiding behind anon to clog my inbox with messages denigrating him and implying he's the only "dumb" person the show. (Which is particularly confounding since you appear to subscribe to the notion that grades are actually an accurate measure of intelligence. I'm not calling anyone a special snowflake. Literally the entire point of my meta is, "different people are intelligent in different ways, so let's stop calling one character stupid just to make another one look smarter". You're the one who took this as an attack on one of the characters.

You're the one who took "grades don't really have much to do with intelligence" as an attack on learning disabilities. You're the one who is in my inbox calling learning disabilities "mental illness". You're the one who...actually, I don't know what the fuck kind of mental gymnastics you did to keep coming back to the issue of prescription legality when I pointed out that Stiles could be illegally buying the Adderall he mentioned once (and only once) in the show.

You're using "ableism" as a convenient buzzword, but you fucked up big time in using this argument on someone for whom mental illness and learning disability are not just buzzwords I get to forget about when I get off Tumblr. They are a reality of my brain, my background, and my life.

You don't actually care about learning disabilities. You don't actually care about students with learning disabilities. You don't actually care about students with ADHD.

You don't actually care about students who struggle in school - because of learning disabilities, because of problems at home, or just because they need time to study, and that's time they don't have.

All you care about is making Stiles look better than everyone else - and the only way you can do that is by making Scott look worse.

Think about this for a minute.

Think about the implications of your argument, when you accuse me of ableism because I posit that these characters have different intelligences, and that one form of intelligence is not inherently “smarter” than the other. Think about the implications of your argument that you interpreted "grades and intelligence aren't correlated" as an attack on learning disabilities. Think about the implications of your argument when you try to claim that the fact Scott takes the time to study for his class is me "forcing a mental illness onto him".

Think about the implications of your statement when you imply that a student needing to study for a class makes them "dumb".

The entire point of your argument only makes sense if you assume that grades are an accurate measure of intelligence, and thus suggesting someone has low grades is akin to calling them an idiot. Does this mean all the smart kids who have low grades because of learning disabilities are actually dumb?

As a neurodivergent adult with ADHD, as the daughter of a teacher who partially specialized in special needs children, and as a tutor to a multitude of incredibly bright students who struggled because of learning disabilities (and mental illnesses, after school obligations, and problems at home), I have zero patience for this kind of bullshit.

If you honestly believe that I was being ableist, if you can actually point to my posts to support even half your claims about my statements, then come talk to me in a private space under your own name.
