I genuinely cannot feel strongly for men so if I react less interested / completely disinterested when I see a guy I can’t project into it’s not me trying to make my lesbian statement I GENUINELY just *cannot* care.

Loki Wren x Ascended Astarion
Man, I just want to browse the tag and not see nonsense for once. Normalize reposting my own art I guess.

Loki Wren is Locke's name in the after story. For those unaware, he actually misspells his name throughout the entire game. It's always been pronounced Lo-ki. He made his name up when he was 16 and just got the ability to read and write, lol.

MAAAAN THESE SUKUNA ANALYSES... THEY'RE SO GOOD... I've always related to him super hard just on first readings as a trans disabled person who is an ambulatory wheelchair user. I'm incredibly violent and confrontational, too. If I could just fuckin kill the people who dehumanize me constantly, I mean... that kind of power is tempting! The way you read him is so satisfying to my brain, and it definitely makes sense in the text as well. Overall I'm just really happy to see somebody managing to put into words what I subconsciously grasped the first time I watched and read JJK. I was literally internally like "omg omg omg they put it into words!! omg!!!" the entire time I've been reading these posts. I can't wait to see what other analysis posts you've made and if there's other stuff for fandoms I enjoy. Thanks a lot for what you do! People like me appreciate it so much.
Oh thank goodnesss you feel this way. Everytime I post always I think of this image.
Tumblr media
Thank you for confirming I'm still at secret esoteric knowledge.
Sukuna is very cathartic for me as a character in that way too. He basically gets to act out where I would restrain myself.
It’s funny that you mention you’re trans. At the risk of tipping the scale to mental illness, I think Sukuna is a very gender character. I find his refusal to introduce himself very relatable. He just kind of lets everyone call him whatever. The only time he ever identifies himself is when not doing so could put in his life in danger.
Tumblr media
That’s it. “I’m the Fallen/Disgraced One”. I don’t believe he ever refers to himself as a man either. He just uses a masculine speaking style.
I also like how he doesn’t seem to care about being associated with feminine things. The marketing leans into this for some reason, pairing him up with Hello Kitty, which I think is great.
Tumblr media
He projects this “I’m too strong to care about gender” aura I’m obsessed with. It might stem from his dehumanization as well. Both himself and other people are not really sure if he’s a curse or a human, so why on earth would he outwardly identify as man? It's not like curses have genders to begin with.
But the moment anyone tries to concretely observe him, like Mahito or Yuji touching his soul, he flips out. That really captures the vibe of “acknowledge my existence, but do not perceive me.” And if you find that relatable you should read Umineko.
Tumblr media
Sukuna is on the border of everything, so he reads like an allegory for multiple minority groups all at once.
He’s masculine in his presentation, but isn’t considered human enough to be called a man. That’s very trans of him.
He’s extremely ablebodied at a glance, but his abnormal features make normal day to day life a constant battle. That’s very invisibly disabled of him.
He may be Japanese by blood, but he’s deemed a monster and pushed out from society for not meeting certain physical features. That’s very biracial of him.

If you are an "Odysseus deserves to be crying every day in Calypsos island for seven years." fuck you. No he didn't. Yes, Odysseus is a fucked up guy. No he didn't deserve that. Even if he wasn't my babygirl, pet liar, he would not have deserved that. I wouldn't have said that even to Theseus and I hate that bitch so fucking much. No one, no one, deserves to be a victim!

I feel like not enough people know this but you do not have to use binders or sports bras to get rid of ur chest. that is not the only solution to it. I have breathing problems and often I can't wear a binder.
anyways I would like to introduce you to kinesiology tape, there's a brand of it specifically marketed towards trans people called Trans Tape, but it's expensive and if you don't live in a safe house/are out to ur parents you can find it on Amazon and works the same for cheaper.
of course not you have to know how to use it to make your chest flat right? well lucky you, trans Tape has public video tutorials on how to apply their tape which is just the same as the tape you hypothetically bought from Amazon or maybe CVS if you can afford it.
youtube
and to finish it off a little word of advice: that stuff doesn't come off easily. make sure to have some sort of oil to take it off as you could possibly use water but the likelihood that you'll damage your skin goes up because this stuff is waterproof since it's used by athletes. very sticky. so below is a link to a smaller and cheap bottle of almond oil that is safe for your skin, I don't really know much about how you would react if you have any allergies though so I would recommend doing your own research on that if you're concerned about it.
that's a brand that I personally have used, there's probably way better ones that will take it off easier with a little less abrasion but this one is fairly cheap and I was going more towards cheap for people, if you want something better there is other ones going around if you do a quick Google search.
make sure to do a patch test with the tape to know if you're not allergic to the glue that these tapes use before you start using them to make your chest flat. make sure you're not pulling at the tape during the day when dry or wet. make sure that the tape is not pulling your skin taught or that there is any redness while using, if there is please take it off immediately. make sure to stay safe as this isn't a completely risk free alternative, no binding is completely 100% safe, it's just safer for more people and causes less breathing problems and warping of the ribs in the long run. Plus if you find a color that matches your skin tone you could probably wear it without a shirt on or at least with a button up open.
this kind of tape helped me a lot when I had really horrible chest dysphoria, it made me feel normal when binders only made me more gender dysphoric and uncomfortable and in pain. I recommend it a lot especially since you can feel through the tape and it'll really feel like you're flat against shirts, which is an amazing experience
I love you all my trans siblings and please stay safe

I've never fucking experienced misogyny as bad as when it was directed at me from ciswomen. All you idiots hiding behind your 'but male socialisation!' nonsense babble to explain why you think trans people are soooo misogynistic, droves of misogynists in the fucking trans & gay community, have literally never sat down with a bunch of dolled up teen girls & been the only fucking tomboy in the group.
The call is coming from inside the fucking house, people. You all justifying your homophobia & transphobia ain't cute, it just makes you look like a fucking asshole. Seriously, when will people learn that saying 'most people in X group are bad people. No, I'm not being Xphobic, is just true' still makes you a bigot!

Nex Benedict's death is pissing me off and I don't even know what I can do about it. Nobody should have to be beaten just for trying to fucking exist. Nobody should have to go through that and yet three girls decided that they did. It's fucking horrific and I feel so lost on what to do about it
Yeah it's really awful and it pisses me off to. Nobody should have to go through that, especially not a kid. I think what's even more difficult about it is that Nex was just like so many trans youth. They loved cats, reading, playing video games, just like any other kid. And they were trans, and killed for it.
It's horrible and awful and sickening that this happened and WE WILL NOT FORGET THEIR NAME. Stay safe everyone, and look after yourselves as much as you can.

I want so badly to be more masculine leaning androgynous. Like masculine enough that if I wear stereotypically feminine clothing I’ll be perceived as a boy/androgynous

I hate living in America because weekly I go through the paranoid fearful hell of remembering that project 2025 exists, know that it will literally turn my life into a shit hole due to it turning anything that republicans don’t like illegal, know that the literal first promise is making anything they see woke child porn, see if ANYONE else actually cares (they don’t), learn even WORSE shit that will come out of it, cry because no one cares and most people will vote in a republican and it will probably go in affect, knowing I can’t do anything besides scream into the void for more people to at least hear about it (I’m a minor), stop because its making my mental health awful, rinse repeat see you next week.
anyone else?
oh yea heres the fucking plan, its 1000 pages, happy reading

The degree of RAGE I feel every time I listen to an interview with and/or about a nonbinary person/character, and the interviewer just is allergic to they/them pronouns. Like. My dude. My good bitch. My brother in Christ. The whole POINT of this conversation is the enby thing. How are you failing THIS badly?!
#this dude bringing up an enby actor to an enby actor and using ONLY she/her pronouns for like two straight minutes#they should not HAVE to say ‘them. them.’ to correct you. you should be SO on that#I mean do better in general but ESPECIALLY in these circumstances#it’s so apparent when people just. refuse to try. and it’s fucking infuriating#also for this man to be talking about a movie that is LARGELY about gender expression and being nonbinary#and just be constantly reducing it to a 'love story'#like. no. it's not that. i mean you can take that out of it if you like (that man was AWFUL so i choose to uh. not.)#but the story was ABOUT gender. and gender presentation. and gender identity and looking a certain way but BEING a different thing inside#and to reduce that to 'a love story' to ensure this story is given half to this man who frankly does not narratively deserve it#is such a dude thing to do. to write and then to see in the finished product. whereas a queer person. an enby person. is gonna be like.#well. LOT more going on there actually. the 'love' is a weird complex backdrop for the actual things going on.#anyway. apparently that's my soapbox for the day#just reminds me of a few famous queer female movies where the story inevitably becomes ABOUT the bland white man who somehow convinces them#to sleep with him/date him/whatever. like. i. hated those movies as a teen and i hate them now. let non-men have their stories without dude#if they must be there do NOT pull the focus from the non-men to make sure the cishet boys aren't left out. this isn't for you. stop it.
