"But..they love me. They love me. They- they loveme." His voice slowly breaking."They do. They really do. I'm telling you, they do. THEY LOVE ME, THEY love me." His voice rose an octave higher as his face was smooshed onto someone chest, desperately trying to convince them that they loved him. All the while trying to convince himself as well.

"My parents love me...please." He begged as if all his questions would be answered as a stream of blood slowly rolled down his forhead, onto his neck and staining his grey t-shirt red. "But if- if they loved me, then why, WHY did they...." he turned to face the desolate land one Covered in grass and flowers, laid to waste. The stranger looked down at him, (and later he would realise that stranger was actually his sister) "They did love you, maybe just a little bit too much"

[deadwhisper]

"I cannot do it"

*why?"

"Because I'm so tired my darling" I sighs whilst leaning back into the wall, it's surface feels cold and solid on my aching back and providing a sort of stability I have been missing quite a lot in the last few days to be honest. "I'm too exhausted to even lift a finger" I try to explain.

"B..but you promised! You promised to help me once your work was over!"

All but in vain. I sigh again and look at them. I take in their wild eyes that desparately rake over my face in search of misplaced humor but unable to find any. His arms bunch up by his side and fury rages inbetween the wrinkles of his forehead.

"You promised!" He screams again, like a toddler stomping his foot to get his point across, as if I don't understand the severity of his situation. I scoff and a flash of surprise passes briefly over his face.

"I did nothing of that sort if you truly remember love, I said I'll look into the matter once I sort my shit out and now that I have I would very well like to go home and rest" sans the fact that I actually do not have a place to call home but oh well, new day new challenges, it'll all sort out one way or the other.

You almost scream when something falls into your basket, certain that you'll have to deal with a large bug. 

You soon calm down when you realize that your sudden visitor isn't a bug, but a tired garden fairy. He leans against your basket, looking worn out, causing sympathy to well up inside you. You push some of the berries inside your basket his way, causing his eyes to brighten.

After that, you've had a little fairy stalker following you around everywhere. But you don't mind – he's cute and harmless, after all. He fits into all your dollhouses and gets full eating just a few berries, so there's no way he's anything dangerous. 

In fact, he helps you out a lot! He makes you tea and helps you clean despite being so tiny. And it's really cute when he sits on your shoulder or gives you little cheek kisses or little gifts! You're still wearing that necklace with an adorable acorn charm he made you.

So of course you appreciate his company. Besides, you've been feeling a little lonely as of late, what with so many of your friends getting sick lately. You're not sure how you avoided the weird stomach bug that's been going around, but you don't really question it.

Because really, why would you ever question it? It's not like you're aware that your new little fairy friend enchanted that necklace of yours to make your friends sick whenever they talk to you, nor are you aware that he's been feeding you enchanted tea to make you more fae than human, hoping to whisk you away to the fairy realm.

Because really, why would you ever doubt him?

He's so cute and harmless, after all.
