Surprise!!! It’s more angst!!!
You know you love a character when you put them through the absolute worst hell 😊
The boys cuddled after this don’t worry, they deserve it. THEY DESERVE ALL THE HUGS, which I may or may not draw later
The haunted look in Quin’s eyes would not leave me until I drew them, I hope you find looking at this as crushing as I have while drawing it 💔

A, C, D, I, Q for your ask game!
A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.
Well, quite obviously anidala is my OTP here in SW and it covers the romantic, the platonic and even the friendship somehow, but that one aside, let's see:
For romantic:
Barris x Ahsoka , Luke x Han, Obi-Wan x Quinlan, Obi-Wan x Satine, Rose x Rey, Finn x Poe.
For strong platonic relationships that go a bit beyond "friendship" but also can't be classified as romantic or family (I'm aromantic deal with me):
Anakin and Rex, Ahsoka and Hera (althouuuugh I have been considering them as romantic too). Anakin and Artoo, and Obi-Wan and Anakin can be here too, but they're more family to me.
And finally, for "whatever the hell is happening here" ships:
Obi-Wan x Maul, Morgan x Ahsoka, Obi-Wan x Jango (to be honest, Obi-Wan is so shippeable lol) and of course, the jewel in the crown of this one: Palpatine x Dooku. And I think one-sided Boba and Vader to be extremely funny.
Also I had this super crack and random ship that ocurred to me once: Ventress and Sabé. Do you see the vision.
C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.
Ahh, that's a hard one, mostly because I'm still fairly recent to this fandom and I haven't had that much time to like, develop strong distaste or something or let alone know about common ships (all the ones i mentioned above, mostly come from my own experiences while watching the series/movies).
But eh...I really don't like Keylo. I also don't like Obi-Wan / Anakin or Cody/Obi-wan. Not because I think the shippers are bad or evil or problematic or anything, I just don't like them and i have realized that they're sometimes hard to avoid because people don't tag them. But hey, I really don't have anything against people that like those.
Oh, and the brand new Mae x Qimir
D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.
Probably Cody/ Obi wan because one of my friends really likes it and I'm just "eh" . Also I wish I could see the vision of Sabe and Padme, but I can't 😔
I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?
-Lets out an airy huff- Oh boyyyyy.
Yes. Although that much Tumblr but more like the whole fandom across several platforms. I'm also theoretically new to Tumblr because I just started using it more when I made this SW blog.
To summarize: There are some fandoms that are awful and the previous one was fairly bad, I liked an extremely unpopular character, and I got on the bad side of a big important famous person in the fandom whom was in several sites not only tumblr and twitter, which, hhuh, well. That previous fandom was terribly bad for my mental health, so I won't name it because I suspect the wolves of that fandom are still running and hungry.
Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.
Basically I answered it on the previous question. But talking about another completely different fandom: I dipped my fingers briefly into our flag means death fandom and not only came from it heavily disliking Taika, but found the fandom extremely only focused on just three characters which were the ones I wasn't interested, so I just lost interest and didn't even watch the second season
#ask game#thanks for the ask!#oh god now i have to tag all those ships don't i#because is my responsability so it doesnt show up for ppl even though is just mentions#anidala#tyratine#quinlan x obiwan#skysolo#obitine#barrisoka#reyxrose#morganxahsoka#maulxobiwan#rambling

Will You Come To My Wedding?
Summary: You ask your lifetime friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi, a question that he's not sure how to answer.
W/C: 2.2k
Warnings: angst, FLUFF
A/N: So, in the next few days, there will also be a NSFW version that will come out. These 2.2k words will all be the same, the ending will just be added to. Either way, I hope you enjoy (Also, this main part of the story is gender neutral and doesn't have any Y/N)
- - -
“Will you come to my wedding?” you said suddenly from beside Obi-Wan.
He froze. Moments before, the two of you were laying in a comfortable silence next to each other in a park. You had wanted to go out to star gaze, saying that no one was able to. Whether it was work or they just didn’t want to, that left Obi-Wan as a last resort.
It had slightly stung when he heard he was the last person you asked, but it didn’t matter. He couldn’t let his inane crush for you get in the way of your friendship. The two of you had known each other ever since you were children.
Oh how many times he’s wanted to tell you how much he cared for you. The amount of times where he looked into your eyes and wanted to kiss you.
Now, his heart slightly dropped at your question. Were you in a relationship you hadn’t told him about? Why didn’t you tell him if that were the case?
Obi-Wan’s mind raced as he realized the silence from him dragged on too long.
Clearing his throat and slightly shaking his head to rid him of his thoughts, he finally responded, “A-are you getting… married?”
Despite his best efforts to not sound like he was disappointed in the news, it didn’t work. His voice sounded just as crestfallen as he felt. Thank goodness you couldn’t fully see his face because he was sure that his expression mirrored everything else.
“I mean,” he said quickly, trying to recover while sitting up to see you properly, “whoever it’s to is lucky to have you, but I wasn’t aware you were… involved with anyone.”
You moved to mirror his position, your knees lightly grazing his.
“I- at least just tell me it isn’t that Quinlan character,” Obi-Wan stammered out once again before you could speak. “I’ve seen how he’s been flirting with you and I-” he cut himself off, looking at the ground before continuing, “I just have a bad… feeling. About him.”
“You seem awfully observant with my love life,” you said teasingly, nudging his knee with yours.
Obi-Wan smiled sheepishly. “I- I just don’t want you to end up with the wrong person.” He said this more to himself rather than to you. What he wanted so desperately was to be the one who got the honour of calling you his. Better yet, you calling him yours. It would never happen, though. The two of you were just… friends.
That thought stung. He knew that one day you would most likely find someone you loved that wasn’t him. In fact, he had always thought that it wouldn’t be him.
“Are you alright?” you asked, genuine concern laced in your tone. It caused Obi-Wan to look at you, forcing a crooked smirk onto his face.
“Quite.”
“I don’t believe you. Was this not a good night to invite you out?”
“What? No. Of course this was a good night. The question just sort of…”
Sort of what? Stabbed you in the heart and twisted the knife right as you were enjoying yourself? Obi-Wan thought to himself.
Earlier, the two of you had been talking away as you walked through the park, waiting for the sun to fully disappear from the night sky. The two of you may have talked often, but that didn’t stop your ability to carry conversations.
As the sun was setting, he had discreetly indulged himself with looking at you in that light. The bright yellows and pinks making you glow, only to be changed in the most amazing way as dark blues and purples took their places.
“It sort of took me by… surprise… is all,” he finally finished.
Amusement glinted in your eyes. “Well, to start off, it’s not Quinlan Vos, thank you.”
Obi-Wan hated to admit it, but that really did fill him with relief. He felt almost as if the man had no intention other than getting you in bed. That wouldn’t fly with Obi-Wan. For many reasons other than how much he cared about you.
“That’s a relief,” Obi-Wan mumbled as he rolled his eyes. Even though he had intended for you to not hear it properly, you did. Your laugh filled the practically silent air.
“You’re telling me.”
For a moment, he stayed silent as he thought about it. Of everyone he knows, Quinlan was the only one that seemed to have gotten your attention to an extent. It must have been someone you hadn’t told him about.
“Then who is it? And why haven’t I heard about them?”
“Well, no one… yet.”
“Why ask me if I would come to your wedding if you aren’t…” Obi-Wan trailed off, looking away as he not only got lost in thought, but the overwhelming sense of temporary relief.
“Well,” you started, pausing a few seconds before continuing and gaining back his attention, “I’m not right now. Just… not for a couple of years, give or take.”
Obi-Wan couldn’t help but feel dispirited. This most likely meant that you were going back into the dating game. And, if he learnt from the last few times you dated someone, it would absolutely kill him.
With your last relationship, Obi-Wan was… guarded around your partner. It had gotten to a point where he was so uptight with the other that you had to talk to Obi-Wan about it. The whole situation was embarrassing, but he couldn’t help it. Seeing you with someone was just unbearable and he had to stand by and help you through the crumbling relationship.
The night you and your partner broke up, you had trekked to his apartment through the rain.
You had a car. Why you hadn’t used it, he would never know. What he did know was, as he opened the door, he was greeted by your drenched state. It nearly hid the tears that streamed down your cheeks.
When Obi-Wan asked what happened (and he really had to pretend like he didn’t know what it was about) you flung yourself at him, hugging him tight. He had carefully guided you further inside, closing the door as you cried into his shoulder. Wrapping his own arms around you, he whispered comforting words until your breathing had evened out.
That night, you had told him everything that had happened only hours prior.
“How did you know?” were your words after hours of him listening to you. “How did you know they weren’t the one?”
At the time, he had no option but to lie. Confessing how he felt about you right after a breakup was sure to be enough for you to never talk to him again. So, he shrugged and lied, saying that he just didn’t like them.
“Oh,” is all Obi-Wan could say. He didn’t know what it was, but he felt like he was beginning to have trouble breathing. Even if he tried to speak, he was sure no words would come out.
As this conversation went on, he felt more and more inclined to leave, but he could never do that to you. You meant too much to him and that was not the way he wanted to leave. If he got up and left now, that would be worse than destroying his friendship with you by telling you how he feels.
“Obi, what is it? It’s not like it’s happening now. It’ll be years from now,” you said, trying to cheer him up as you nudged his knee again.
“How do you know you’ll want me there?” he suddenly blurted, sounding more miffed than intended. Well, ideally he didn’t want to sound like that at all.
It was your shocked expression that made him realize the extent of his tone. You seemed hurt and he hated that he was the cause of it.
“I mean,” he began again, backtracking from his sudden frustration. “What if- How do you know we’ll even still be friends by then?” His tone was quiet, hiding how he actually felt.
“Alright, starting off, I really doubt that you’re alright because ouch. What do you mean? Do you think we won’t be friends in two years after all of this time?”
Obi-Wan couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. Of course he still saw the two of you still being friends in the next two years. Hell, he could see himself as your friend for the rest of his life. Even though it would kill him to only be your friend, he couldn’t imagine a life without you.
“I- well, you never know what can happen in that time,” he said unconvincingly.
At this point, he was desperately dancing around telling you how he felt. With each word you spoke he wanted to say it so badly so that he could keep himself from seeing you hurt again. Or, worse yet, see you happy with someone other than him.
When he looked at you he could’ve sworn he saw tears in your eyes.
“Is it your wish to not be friends anymore?” you said, your voice strained.
Oh, now he’s done it.
“What? No, of course it isn’t. I just… ugh, how do I put this? I- I don’t want to see you get hurt again. But strangely enough, I don’t want to see-”
Obi-Wan cut himself off. No, now was not the time to say this. Was it? There were so many questions running through his mind. Both of his and yours. What was he doing? He had no say in your life and what you could and couldn’t do.
“Never mind,” he muttered.
“So, what you're saying is that you don’t want to be friends when I get married?”
Obi-Wan froze at the question. His mind began to race to find a proper response so that it wouldn’t sound like that. Of course he still wanted to be your friend.
“Good,” you said, now making Obi-Wan freeze for a whole different reason.
It felt as if he couldn’t breathe. Every bit of him tensed. Did you no longer want to be friends with him? The tense silence was suffocating him as he saw that you had more to say. Confusion only filled him when you smiled.
“Because I don’t want to be friends when that day comes.”
All air seemed to leave his body. If he were breathing, surely he was hyperventilating. He only knew that he felt dizzy. He was sure that he could pass out at any second as the mantra of this can’t be happening, I can’t lose you ran through his mind.
“Wha-” he tried, but you cut him off by placing your gentle hand on top of his that he now realized was grasping the fabric of his slacks. Your soft touch made his hand ease its grip. Slowly, you managed to turn it so his palm rested against your own.
“It’s a good thing because,” you started and paused, making sure his eyes met yours, “because I don’t see you as my friend at my wedding. I would see you as my fiancé, my soon to be husband on that day.”
Obi-Wan’s jaw dropped. Surely this was a dream. This couldn’t be actually happening, could it? Were you actually saying what he thought you were?
“Are… is this real?” he said, causing you to chuckle.
“Yes, Obi. This is real.”
As if to prove this, you moved so that your knees now rested on top of his, moving your joined hands to rest between the two of you.
With his trembling free hand, he brought it to cup your cheek.
“This isn’t really happening. There’s no way you actually feel the same way about me as I do you,” he said with a shaky voice as you leaned into his touch.
Turning your head ever so slightly, you pressed a kiss to his palm. He could feel his heart flutter at the action.
“It’s really real, Obi,” you whispered.
Obi-Wan chuckled in relief as he let himself relax. Your smile only worked to enhance it. So much so that he hardly noticed that he was leaning towards you. Although it seemed like you were as well, he paused when the two of you were mere inches apart from each other.
“Is… is this alright?” he asked, searching your eyes.
You chuckled. “Obi-Wan, this would have been alright ever since the ninth grade,” you whispered.
That was all the confirmation he needed. The last of the distance was closed, his lips finally pressed against yours. Was this what he was missing this whole time?
The longer this went on, the more you seemed to move closer to him.
“I love you,” Obi-Wan whispered after you pulled away, resting your forehead to his.
“I know,” you whispered back. For a few moments longer, the two of you just looked at each other, smiling in the moment. To think he had almost missed out on all of this. “I love you too,” you say after, then kissing him again.

I got:
Quinlan x Shmi
Obiwan x Leia
Shaak x Shmi
I have no idea what this says about me but it was fun! Thanks for making them :)
lmao not much, it's not really a personality thing so much as an excuse to play around with categorization and flex comedic muscles in a structure has very soft limits that heavily impact reception.
So it doesn't say much about you, if that makes you feel better.

Secretly married obiwan x quinlan
(thank you all so much for your patience on this one! still figuring out my routine around my family and who i am as a person, but prompts are back to sunday and monday uploads!
i guess i just like the idea of quinlan and obi-wan gettin’ hitched really young? it certainly sounds like smth quinlan would do. HOWEVER can you just imagine them not getting into a relationship until the clone wars? (ノ*´◡`) maybe they’ve been dancing around it since they were padawans and finally decide to just say fuck it like anidala.
that is not this story.)
The greatest injustice of it all is that Quinlan and Master Tholme had just left the Temple when the council had sent him and Qui-Gon to Melida/Daan, just as Quinlan had not been there when Obi-Wan had been sent to the Agricorp. Quinlan had almost strangled him for that, when he’d shown back up from Bandomeer trailing behind his new master, and, honestly, Obi-Wan hadn’t blamed him.
When the contingent of Jedi and their padawans arrive in the capital city of Zehava to help negotiate with Neild and the Young, Quinlan hugs him instead.
And Obi-Wan hasn’t eaten properly in weeks, he’s been sleeping in the sewers, and Cerasi’s blood is still caked under his fingernails, and Quinlan nearly knocks him over with the force of their collision. He wraps Obi-Wan up so tight it almost feels like they’d never even left the créche — he’s always felt more like home than the Temple, anyways.
“Let’s not do that again,” Quinlan says, surprisingly in control of his voice for how wrecked he’d sounded after Bandomeer.
With shaking hands, Obi-Wan hugs him back, twisting his fingers into the back of Quinlan’s robes until he can’t feel them anymore. “I’ll say goodbye properly, next time,” he promises hoarsely, feeling Master Qui-Gon prod at his mind in concern before Master Tholme leads him away.
Quinlan makes a distressed noise and hugs him tighter. “Or you could stop kriffing almost getting killed every mission, yeah? I swear by the Maker that if Master Yoda has to sit me down one more time to ‘break the news’ to me that you've gone awol, I’m going to throw you into a sarlacc.”
Obi-Wan does suppose it’s a little unfair to do this to his friends nearly every time he leaves the Temple, but with a galaxy so big and so full of need, he knows he can’t promise that.
So he presses his forehead into Quinlan’s collarbone, releasing his hands just long enough to tuck himself into Quinlan’s robes instead, and nods against him anyways. “You’d have to find a sarlacc first, Quin,” he says, like making a joke of it will excuse that he’d almost gone and left Quinlan alone again.
“Don’t worry, I’ll just stick you on a desert planet, and with your luck, the sarlacc will find you.”
-
The greatest injustice of it all is that Obi-Wan knows before Qui-Gon even opens his mouth what he’s going to say. No one ever looks at someone like that with good news.
They excuse him from his last lesson so he can find a private meditation room to process, but Obi-Wan goes to Master Tholme’s apartment instead. He leaves the bedroom doors closed, the quartermaster will send someone to sort through their belongings later, and he settles on Quinlan’s meditation stool in the main room. He knows Quinlan has more belongings than is typically appropriate of a Jedi, but Tholme keeps the living spaces clean and bare, neutral colours blurring together until the white walls stare back at Obi-Wan in accusation.
He should have known he wouldn’t be able to meditate, anyways.
After Qui-Gon goes to bed, leaving Obi-Wan with murmured words of assurance and a ruffle of his hair, Obi-Wan slips out of their quarters in his darkest robes. He meets Luminara and Bant in the Room of a Thousand Fountains, and they know it’s impossible that their little escapade has gone completely unnoticed, but no one stops them from winding through the different fountains until they reach the one modeled to resemble a spring on Kiffu. None of them had ever been to Quinlan’s home planet, but Obi-Wan had come here often with him even in their créche days, and dropping to sit in the yellow dirt doesn’t hurt as much as he thought it would.
Luminara sets a simple clay incense burner on the edge of the fountain wall, lighting it as Bant lays out a small offering plate with Quinlan’s favourite sweetcake; they don’t make Obi-Wan help as they go about fixing an altar with little bits from all their cultures, the water-filled quiet between them heavier so heavy it reminds him of those nights on Melida/Daan.
“Did—” Obi-Wan swallows even though his mouth is dry. “Did you all do this for me, before?”
His friends exchange a look before nodding. “Both times,” Bant says softly, lighting the last candle before joining him on the ground and for once not worrying about laying out a blanket first.
“Quinlan almost didn’t come to the second one,” Luminara admits, standing over the altar with her eyes closed as she breathes in the incense.
Obi-Wan simply nods, because that does sound like Quinlan, and he feels horrid all over again for making Quinlan go through this, twice. Inhaling a sigh, Obi-Wan finds the holodisk hidden away in his robes and sets it next to the incense.
None of them can bear to turn it on.
-
The greatest injustice of it all is that, for some reason, Master Tholme did not contact the Temple before hitching a ride back from the moon where the unhappy locals had bombed their ship. And Obi-Wan knows Master Tholme didn’t tell the council they were in fact alive, because then the council would have told Obi-Wan.
He feels it the moment their ship docks, Quinlan’s presence flooding his mind until his fingers tingle with it, and he shoots to his feet.
The class of senior padawans stare at him in surprise, and Master Prweex stops mid-lecture, chirping in concer. “Is everything alright, Padawan Kenobi?”
Breath caught somewhere in his throat, Obi-Wan doesn’t answer, and instead scrambles from the classroom, opening the door with the Force before he can slam into it.
Despite popular superstition, Jedi cannot teleport, but Obi-Wan honestly couldn’t say how he made it from the lesson halls to one of the main hangars, where a small group of Jedi masters stand next to a shamble of a ship that spews smoke from several panels. And, there, Master Tholme looking ragged and tired, robes still stained from the explosion and with a cast on his right arm, but Obi-Wan’s eyes snap immediately to the padawan on his side.
Quinlan is a little worse for wear, and his braids hang around his shoulders instead of pulled up, not that Obi-Wan cares as he sprints the last few yards and launches himself at his friend. The masters step cleanly out of the way, likely having sensed his approach from a few hallways away, but Quinlan clearly hadn’t, yelping as he stumbles to catch him. It isn’t until then that Obi-Wan can accept that, yes, he had mourned him, but for some reason the Force had decided “not yet”.
“Obes?” Quinlan asks softly when Obi-Wan doesn’t pull his head away from his chest.
“Hmm,” Master Rancisis chuckles, the sound edged in saddness. “Perhaps Kenobi needs a moment, Padawan Vos; it has been a long few weeks in your absence.”
And Obi-Wan is more than content to stay there the rest of the day, even though Quinlan smells like he hasn’t bathed in a week – and he probably hadn’t. Quinlan still hugs him back and bleeds worry into the Force, as Master Tholme gently runs a hand over the back of Obi-Wan’s head and sighs.
“I know what Melida/Daan did to my padawan, so I can imagine what you’ve been through the last few weeks.” When Obi-Wan still doesn’t pull away, he continues, “You know, now that I think about it, during their clan wars the Stewjoni had a special marriage rite, when one thought dead returned to them.”
“Master?” Quinlan asks in confusion, but Obi-Wan grips his robes tighter. He does remember Master Nu mentioning something...
Master Tholme laughs, only a little rough, and steps away to join the other masters who have started slowly making their way from the hangar. “I suppose I thought it funny, padawan,” he says, “that, if I recall the ceremony correctly, you’re both halfway there already. You will meet me in the Halls of Healing when you’re ready? I’d like to get the cut of yours looked at.”
“Of course, master. Gimme a few minutes.”
“Of course, padawan.”
Tholme sometimes did that, dropped little bits of trivia any time something jogged his memory, and he didn’t often mean anything by it; even with this in mind, Obi-Wan can’t help but hope.
Quinlan waits until the masters’ footsteps recede, before gently tugging on Obi-Wan’s nerftail until he looks up. “I’ve got an idea,” he says with a roguish grin, and Obi-Wan is young and stupid and scared, and knows exactly what he’s planning.
-
“You ready?”
“This is probably illegal, Quinlan.”
“Not according to Master Nu, it isn’t.”
“Well, I’m probably going to Stewjoni hell anyways, I guess.”
“Before we do this, I need you to promise me something, Obi-Wan.”
“...”
“We can’t let this get in the way, we can’t... We’re almost knights, Obi, we’ve worked too hard to lose that now. We’ll always have to come second to the Order, you understand that, right?”
“Quinlan Vos, are you backing out on me? This was your idea.”
“And you agreed! Stop laughing, I’m serious.”
“I know you are, Quin. I’m somehow more ready now than I was ten minutes ago.”
“Good. Because you know I would follow you anywhere.”
“And I would follow you into this.”
“Good. Now shut up and light the candle.”
-
It’s Kit that brings Obi-Wan the datapad with all the forms for his induction onto the council, along with advice and a smile that makes Obi-Wan think maybe accepting the position had not been a mistake.
Unlike either his master or his own padawan, Obi-Wan is efficient with his paperwork, he knows the quicker he gets it done, the more time he can spend not doing paperwork, just as he knows that to be thorough the first time is to avoid having to do it a second.
Only one question on the forms gives him pause:
Is the inductee married in any culture(s)’s customs, accidental or not?
Well, it had been fifteen years since Quinlan had knotted a scrap of his own robes around Obi-Wan’s wrist, as Obi-Wan had done the same, and the Jedi Order is not made of fools, so he checkmarks the Yes box and adds Stewjoni below it, because he can’t imagine that at least the masters haven’t noticed by now.
(He would come to find that, no, they had not.)

Question: whose Cal Kestis other parent?
On another day I would have told you that can be anyone, even a random stranger he met on a bar- BUT THEN, @babygirlbridger and @krispyswips infected me with the brainworms via discord chats and this Fic [To Out Halcyon Days] (E) that I'm so obsessed with!!
So yes, is Quinlan.
But Obi and his stewjoni biology are so powerful that his womb just photocopies himself.

What happens when padawan quin miraculously comes back from a shadow mission gone wrong…
More quinobi, now with a side of angst!!
And look, I adore quinlans locks, but sometimes sacrifices must be made for the plot (I will not ask for forgiveness)
although most of his beautiful hair clasps are gone, at least obi was able to hold onto one for him (what he thought was likely the last piece of quin he had left) 💔
#with Jedi shadows actively hunting for darksided objects#and tackling the worst things the galaxy has to offer#you cannot tell me that quinlan has not been reported dead at least once#I can’t stop thinking about#obiwan#how he’d react#heartbreaking 💔#but also incredible angst material#I need a fic for this#these poor boys#they deserve a break#and hugs#so many hugs#obiquin#quinobi#obi wan kenobi#obi wan fanart#obi wan x quinlan#quinlan vos#padawan obi wan#jedi shadow#STILL A WIP#DONT FINISH IT FOR ME#angst
