What would Satine think of Ventress flirting with her man?
Recorded my response to this question, so I’ll put the original script under a cut  (Beware, it's very confusing but does explain more in-depth why I think this situation would happen the way it does, not what actually happens)
Here is my elaboration of the situation explained in that script:
There aren’t many instances I could see where all of them are together, but at the same time, I think it’s even less likely that Anakin or one of the clones would mention Ob-Wan flirting with another woman in front of Satine. (Not only are they good friends, but does anyone really want to be the bearer of that news? To Satine? Lol)
So the best I could come up with was some type of peace convention that Satine managed to drag the Republic and the CIS to. As the host and the moderator, she’s tasked with observing the going ons of the attendants and assuring everything is running smoothly.
So she stands atop a small round balcony, resting her hands upon the smooth golden rails and looking out at the akward gathering with an eagle’s gaze. Nothing slips past her attention, although her mind is... distracted with thoughts of the dashing knight that stands near the bar, and her heart lingers hopefully as she watches the once uncomfortable divide dissolve into comfortable chatter. Well, once everyone’s had a drink or two.
This, of course, means that everyone is now unashamed of their attraction towards Obi-Wan Kenobi, who gathers a rather large crowd with exciting tales of heroism.
Bail and Breha Organa, senator Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano we’re the first audience members- followed by an intrigued grandpa Dooku and a few distinguished CIS senators. Ventress pretends to reluctantly follow, although in truth she is quite excited to get an excuse to mingle with Kenobi.
She wears a lethal and sharp-looking cocktail dress, with intricate hosiery that may or may not store daggers. But it shimmers on her slender form, her awkward movements looking fluid and graceful underneath the fabric. She’s not used to this kind of getup, feeling foolish and flashy, but Dooku insisted she present herself eloquently for once. She wears a jewel-encrusted choker and a deadly scowl, her blush being banished to the farthest regions of light-as-possible pink. The back of her dress is black lace in jagged patterns.
So there she stands among the crowd, wearing her best sneer and slowly moving closer to Obi-Wan subconsciously.
Unfortunately for her, this behavior is not lost on Satine, who still remains legal as ever, watching the witch becoming more confident with every swig of champagne she takes.
Obi-Wan has told her of this Dathomirian before, describing her as ‘a graceful and powerful assassin.’ Tales had reached her ears of an ongoing banter between her Jedi and the lethal woman, which she had been sure to inquire the former about.
He had only looked down and blushed for a moment, before explaining that the easy flirtation seemed to give him some sort of edge in their duels. But when he had looked back up and grabbed her hand, gazing intently into her eyes, Satine’s doubts were washed away and she didn’t bring it up again. She shouldn’t expect someone such as Obi-Wan to be restricted from flirting now, should she? He was a natural flirt, and a damn good one at that. After all, he’d somehow stolen Satine’s well-guarded heart.
That didn’t mean she had to be happy about it though.
So she watches with narrowed eyes as Ventress starts laughing maybe a little too much at something Obi-Wan said, and rests a hand on his shoulder.
Oh, she definitely isn't happy about that.
But Obi-Wan only moves slightly, taking a well-measured step away from the other woman, and returns gracefully to the story he was telling before.
She doesn’t miss how he glances up at her and smiles almost imperceptibly.
Ever the gentleman. Reassuring her that he wasn’t ever going to be anyone else's but hers. And she appreciates it, but if Ventress’ continued advances were making him uncomfortable as they were beginning to appear to, she isn’t going to let that slide. She isn’t going to let him sacrifice his comfort for politeness or manners, especially when it involves another woman.
But she also isn't going to humiliate either of them, so she tries to catch the witch’s eyes from across the ballroom. This time Ventress places her finger on Kenobi’s chest, trying to mouth off about something or other.
The former nightsister glances up for a brief moment, to catch an imperiously glowering duchess very pointedly looking at Ventress’ finger.
The meaning isn't lost upon her, but she’s pretty far from sober- just drunk enough to not care about what her master might think about her blatant coquetry. Not to mention, Ventress is both possessive and aggressive, even when she isn’t intoxicated, so she doesn’t budge.
Satine just internally sighs and withdraws from her spot, one hand tracing the railing of the curved staircase.
Much like Ventress, Satine is also stunning in an elegant gown that looks like melted gold, her hands covered by silken white gloves. Her hair, which has grown out to her shoulders, is wavy and flowing, her blazing blue eyes catching every light in the room. She practically shines. She’s radiant and majestic, demanding the attention of everyone in the room. And she definitely doesn’t mind, especially as she catches Obi-Wan watching every move she makes.
She might even sway her hips just a bit more than is completely necessary.
Obi-Wan’s breath catches in his throat as he watches her, entranced as her eyes linger on his.
He tries to hide red that creeps up to his cheeks, lowering his face and pretending to cough.
Satine approaches their group and all respectfully bow. She smiles softly and greets Padme and Ahsoka before coming up behind Obi-Wan, resting one hand on his shoulder as she stares down Ventress.
“Hello, Master Kenobi,” she says, her tone almost patronizing. It has just enough edge to it that Ventress gets the message, but just enough kindness that she doesn’t necessarily have to worry about the tabloids talking about it the next day, or have it become a topic for gossip among the senators.
Obi-Wan swallows and nods to her, pretending he can’t feel her breath on his neck.
“Duchess.”
Ventress pulls away quickly, taking a slightly wobbly step back.
Dooku tries his best not to smirk. He knows exactly what this is. It’s a dominance display, and this pacifist has just made his own apprentice back down. But that, of course, is Kenobi’s woman- a woman with a fire in her heart and eyes, and an undying, kind passion. Sassy, witty, strong. He pushes away a sense of pride and instead pulls Ventress back a few steps.
He doesn’t want her fighting a losing battle, what with the way Kenobi is currently looking at the duchess.
The count even catches a smug grin on Skywalker’s face as he leans over and whispers something to that pesky little apprentice of his that makes her bat him on the head.
He tries not to think about how she would be his great great great grandpadawan.
At some point, the group disbands and Obi-Wan and Satine retreat to one of the secluded garden gazebos and dance to the distant music.
Satine doesn’t ask, but Obi-Wan eventually says, “You know I would never- right?”
She just smiles against his cheek, nodding, “I know, I just don’t want someone else touching you.”
He chuckles, “in my defense, she wasn’t- erm, kindly touching. At least, not when you walked up.”
                                            *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Maybe one day I’ll make this a full fic, but for now enjoy this summary fic thing. Sorry this took so long to answer :/ I hope you like it though! I loved imagining Ventress’ dress, although I probably didn’t describe it as well as I could have. I'm up pretty late writing this.
Below I talk about some of the books and comics and my opinion on Obiress, it’s just a little jumbled because I’m much less precise with my language skills when I actually speak (and that’s not very much at all considering the fact that I’m not very precise in my writing either lol).
Thanks for the ask Oodles!
_____ Because apparently Tumbr can’t make cuts work on asks_______
“I actually was thinking about this the other day, and I had this whole scene in my head.
I uh- I don’t really know why I don’t write this stuff out in fics- probably just because I feel like I’ve already done that, I’ve gone through the effort of imagining it in my head so it’s quote-unquote written, so I feel like I shouldn’t have to. I wish I could just project my thoughts into other people's minds, but unfortunately, that’s not possible as a human being.
So anyway what I was thinking was I was sort of imagining them at this big party because I think that’s the only way that Satine and Obi-Wan and Ventress would ever be in the same space.
I’m sure he’s told Satine in the past about Ventress, but the thing is is that I feel like in the comics that I’ve read Ventress is absolutely in love with Obi-Wan because he sort of helps her realize who she is a little bit better, but he’s not romantically interested in her in any of the comics at all to be honest. Although I think she more looks up to him, and that sort of throws me in the comics. Steers me away from you know, any romantic ideas between them. Yeah, I don’t think that they would ever be in a romantic relationship- in fact I am a big Quinlan and Ventress fan, but there is definitely- Obi-Wan absolutely flirts with her in the Clone Wars, there’s no denying that. I mean when you call somebody ‘my dear’ you’re obviously flirting with them. But Obi-Wan specifically stated that it’s for- you know it’s just— it’s like a game almost, to get into her head and whatever. So again I don’t personally think that it’s cannon at all, and I don’t support that ship, but I think Obi probably has told Satine about Ventress and who she is, as well as that, you know, he does flirt with her.
I don’t think Satine would care all that much until she saw Ventress maybe making a move or something or like any sort of advance towards Obi-Wan. I don’t even think that Obi-Wan would flirt with Ventress in a public area in front of a lot of people, and I definitely don’t think that he would flirt with her in front of Satine, and I feel like he would feel as though that would be disrespectful and I honestly don’t think he’s the kind of guy to do something like that if it’s not really needed at the moment.
So let’s say that they’re all at a big peace party for peace discussions and peace negotiations, and Satine happens to be there. I can see her standing at a distance while there’s sort of been like a crowd that forms around Obi-Wan, and Ventress happens to be in that crowd because it’s Obi-Wan.
Bail might be there, as well as Padme and Anakin and Ahsoka. There’s probably a couple other Republic senators, and then— not Dooku because I can’t see her flirting in front of Dooku especially, but I think, you know, some other separatist senators are there and they’re all sort of mingling. And you know they’re just there because, I don’t know, Obi-Wan just attracts people I guess, and they’re all chatting casually and sipping wine.
Satine’s to the side, looking off at the distance. She’s trying to be a moderator for anything, sort of overseeing the ballroom making sure that nothing’s getting out of hand and everyone’s getting along really well.
And then I picture that Ventress is sort of getting a little bit closer to Obi-Wan, taking steps towards him, or maybe the occasional pushing of a shoulder or something, and Satine sort of catches her eye across the ballroom and gives her the look like ‘you betta keep your hands off my man, don’t do it again if I see you do it again I’m gonna come over there.’ And you know Satine would be great at making that face.
But anyway, so then Ventress does it again, and I don’t think Satine would freak out- I just think that Satine wouldn’t want Obi-Wan to feel uncomfortable, and she doesn’t want anybody touching on her man because that’s not cool. Even if Ventress isn’t a threat, because I don’t think Satine would feel threatened at all, but she still doesn’t want anyone interacting with her mans in that way. So I could see her walking up purposefully, with like a confident stride and sort of making lots of eye contact with Ventress and then coming up from behind Obi-Wan and sliding her arms around his shoulder and all getting close and saying something like ‘hey babe’.
I think Obi-Wan would acknowledge Satine when she would walk up and do something like that, he would probably understand what’s going on at that point and I think Satine might try and drive him away from that area.
But I don’t think it would be a big deal honestly because I don’t think that Satine has any reason to feel threatened by Ventress.”

Tell me ALL your SW faves
Aaaaaa thank you!  This took a while cuz this got long, lol sorry!  Aight, so here’s ALL my SW faves for this ask prompt list!
FAVE MOVIE: Revenge of the Sith.  10000%.  It just has everything!  You get to see the Obikin relationship in all its glory, first and foremost, how much those two loved each other more than anything and knew each other better than anyone, and just how much they genuinely got along and then we got our hearts broken watching them have to fight after Anakin made his Goof Of The Millennium and just oooooof all the feels about my boys!  Seeing Padmé and just loving her so gotdang much for being strong and wanting the best life for everyone, all while she was so scared and had so little support from anyone, and just couldn’t do it in the end.  Seeing the end of the Republic, how after a thousand years, just, *poof*, just like that in like two days (yes, I know Sidious was planning it for over a decade but still), the horrific fascination on how Sidious was able to do that.  Just the brilliance of Sheev’s character, how you despise him, but how brilliantly everything was pulled off.  The angst of Order 66, how especially after TCW you love these characters SO MUCH and then you gotta watch them DIE HORRIBLY BY THOSE THEY TRUSTED, THOSE WHO NEVER HAD A CHOICE EITHER.  Did I mention feeling so freaking bad for Obi Wan and his Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day???  Because I really do, he’s so good and kind and we see his life fall apart and ugh I love him.  And y’all, watching Anakin Skywalker fall from grace like the brightest angel he was, you hate him for what he did, but you still can’t help but love him and cry for him and his loss because he was so good, and he did not deserve all this to happen to him but he did it to HIMSELF AAAAGGHHHH.  Also, Obes and Ani were at peak prettiness this movie!!  Just asdfkjglkdskajsrlk best movie love so diggity dang much
FAVE PAIRING: Oh, how EVER will I choose– Obikin.  It’s Obikin, all the way, no contest.  I know Ive yelled about it a million and one times so I’ll save y’all the rant on how much I adore these disasters and their relationship and how I think they’re goddamn soulmates and the most interesting dynamic in the entire Saga.  I ship them romantically and platonically and just everything, they’re so fucking important to one another and that’s why it hurts so much to watch them fall apart, and that’s why I’m so incredibly happy that they get to canONICALLY SPEND THEIR ENTIRE AFTERLIFE TOGETHER BECAUSE FORCE GHOSTS HELL YEAH.  If I had to pick just secondary fave romantic and platonic relationships, hmmmm that’s hard.  BUT, I’m gonna have to go with Kanera for romantic; SWR was what got me back into Star Wars and one of my favorite parts of it was watching Kanan and Hera, how much I loved them separately, but just how much they were a team together and I love them and I was unbelievably upset when Jedi Night happened (and I still have a rant about how animated Star Wars kills off their romantic couples in the exact same manner, pls ask me about how TCW’s The Lawless and Rebels’ Jedi Night had basically all of the same plot points that ended in killing off a romantic lead).  For other fave platonic relationship, gonna have to go with Luke/Han/Leia BROT3 (separate from Hanleia as a romance, which is probs my 3rd fave).  These disasters were the original Golden Trio, they saved the galaxy together all while yelling dramatically and having each other’s backs to the bitter end (or, at least ‘till the end of ROTJ lol) and I just love them as a team so dang much
FAVE TV SHOW EPISODE: Okay, since there are four TV shows, it’s only fair for me to pick one (or more don’t judge me) from each!  Let’s see, from The Clone Wars, my fave eps have to be the entire Mortis trilogy arc in S3 because Obes/Ani/Snips family dynamic, Force Shenanigans, BEAUTIFUL scene designs, Anakin angst, just so many good things oof, and also Dooku Captured from S1, which I just adore because Obikin snark, annoying Grandpa Dooku, Hondo Fucking Ohnaka making everyone look so bad at their jobs, I just love it agh.  Whoops that was technically four faves, so gotta do four for Rebels too!  Gonna go wiiiiith World Between Worlds from S4 for Badass Ahsoka Tano, Ezra being brave and talented, Sheev being Absolutely Ridiculous, and just the overall Force Shenanigans cuz canon time travel y’all; The Lost Commanders from S2 because Rex is awesome, Kanan angst, and really good Kanan and Ezra bonding and Jedi awesomeness, Fire Across the Galaxy from S1 because of Ghost fam dynamics, Kanan angst, more Kanan and Ezra bonding, and just good stuff, and Twilight of the Apprentice in S2 (lol what about my username?) for being creepy and cool and maKING ME CRY ANAKIN YOU STUPID THRICE COOKED TOILET SEAT LEAVE AHSOKA ALONE.  *cough*  Ok, fine, I’ll stick with only one ep for the other two series.  For Resistance, gonna have to go with the latest ep, actually!  We get to see Kaz being clever and caring about his fam on the Colossus, really cool designs for Aeos and its people, Tam angst, and just everyone shining!  For The Mandalorian, it’s gotta be the finale, Redemption, we get Din name, Armorer kicking everyones asses and me loving it, BABY YODA DOING THE HAND WAVE, Din getting over his issues with droids and connecting with IG only for IG to FUCKING DIE, DIN AND BABY YODA BEING AN OFFICIAL CLAN OF TWO, Taika just knocking this whole episode out of the park with the funny scouttroopers at the beginning who still deserved the ass-whooping they got for fucking murdering Kuiil and hiTTING BABY YODA YOU SLIMY FUCKNUGGETS–
FAVE CHARACTER: Alright, look, I can narrow it down to FIVE and that is IT.  I just love too many Star Wars characters, I can’t go lower than top five!  Ok, so my four favorites are Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Leia Organa, Kanan Jarrus, and Finn Skywalker-Dameron-Tico (i SAID what i SAID.)  AIGHT so for starters, a lot of my favorite characters in different franchises fall under various archetypes I have for faves.  Obi Wan fits one of my more popular ones: “Old, reluctant and more than slightly-questionable parental badass with a mysterious past that makes you love them all the more when you realize just how beautiful and tragic and deserving-better they were when that past is revealed”.  I latched onto this dude from the start when I just liked the OT (tho Leia was always my fave lol), and I wanted to know about him, and then when I finally started getting into the PT and TCW, it was just a steady stream of “oh no he’s hOT?” “oh no he’s sAD?” “oh no he’s nICE?!? REALLY FUCKING NICE AND A BIT OF A MESS HELP” and then I just totally latched on because he’s hypercompetent at literally everything and looks damn good doing it and boy do I have a thing for competence, charming as all hell and goes through so much and comes out strong despite the fact that fate hates his fucking guts and tries to destroy his life constantly and guys he tries so hard and he’s kind of messy sometimes and a bit of a dick and I love him all the more for it because he’s trying, none of that do-or-do-not shit, he is doing his damn best and deserves happiness and not Anakin tearing him apart.  SPEAKING OF SAND MAN.  Ugh, so I love Anakin to fucking death and that makes me REALLY MAD ABOUT IT BECAUSE HE MAKES EVERYONE ELSE I LIKE SAD.  So I love Anakin regardless because he’s not your typical protagonist.  He’s fucking brilliant, hot when he fights, is amazing at fighting and flying and building stuff and there’s that competence thing for me again, oh boy!  He’s funny and kind and he cares.  And somehow, this bitch manages to have the two most beautiful, amazing people in the galaxy in love with him and willing to do basically anything for him like the fuck?!?  Jealous much??!?!?!?!  I am!!!!  He’s so fucking bright and it’s impossible to look away.  He’s also a dorky, messy disaster who’s not good with people or feelings or emotions and he panics over stuff and doesn’t know self-control and is kinda really bad at his job a lot and pushes away the people who care about him and screws up literally all the fucking time and he always feels like he’s drowning and alone and I get to watch him crash and burn under the weight of it all.  Basically, minus the anger issues and the child murder and the murder in general, I kinda relate a lot to Anakin.  I feel like a self-hating mess who doesn’t know how to control my ow head and the world hates me a lot too.  I can project my mental issues onto him, enjoy the good parts of him, live vicariously through the things he does that I can’t like be loved by pretty people and be hot and athletic and smart, and then when he crashes I can side-eye and remember that at least someone’s doing worse than me lol.  So yea, I love this messy boi to death and he’s the one I get the best characterization reviews on, so I guess we have an understanding.  Leia I loved since as a kid.  I’d want to be her, brave, talented, smart, strong as hell and snarky to boot.  I realize that Leia fits another fave character archetype of mine: “Powerful young adult raised for greatness, did not ask for all the horrible shit that’s happened to them, highkey wants a break and for the bad guys to just roll over and die, is generally clever, hypercompetent, and 100% done with everyone else’s shit, overdramatic as all hell and enjoys insulting people”.  Her and Han were my first Star Wars ship and she just always made me happy seeing her kick names and take ass.  She’s gone through almost as much hell or maybe more so than Obi Wan, she also keeps getting back up and fighting, she deserved SO MUCH BETTER than what the Sequel Trilogy gave her and you may quote me on that.  She’s also gorgeous and I wanted to wear all of her clothes (bikini not included).  I also love her relationship with Luke and I am so goddam happy it is now canon that Leia Organa did Jedi training and can use a lightsaber!!!  She has a lightsaber!!!!!!!!!!  Ugh oof I love her.  Kanan fills the similar “mentor” archetype as Obi Wan does, but with a smidge of youth because he’s younger when he gets dropped into this role.  He’s more of a punk, more of a mess, and oof.  Basically I’ve said it a zillion times how Rebels resparked my love of Star Wars, but really, it was Kanan on the screen that did it.  It happened when the Rebels season 3 premiere eps ended up on the TV and I saw it and I thought in order 1. holy shit that Maul fucker’s actually alive? and 2. Oh no sad blind Jedi man!  He’s cool and mysterious and I want to know why he’s sad and who made him sad and also want to give him a hug!!!  He was my fave character all throughout Rebels and his training dynamic with Ezra, struggling to help this kid all while flying by the seat of his pants because he had Issues and no clue what he was doing and no support and ugh, he was smart and brave and I’m so sad he’s dead and yea.  Finn!!!!  Last but not least!!!!  He was my favorite character from The Force Awakens.  People have said it before, but he was just so new, a rebel Stormtrooper stolen and brainwashed at birth, finding the good guys and fighting to do the right thing!  Possibly Force Sensitive!  Super duper cute!!!  Funny and kind, dammit, when not many other people in the galaxy were!!!!!!!!  I was so, so sure Finn was gonna be a Jedi along with Rey at some point, that might have been my biggest letdown when I saw TLJ, but ugh I just loved his enthusiasm and his war within himself, ultimately loving his friends and trying to do what was right at the risk to his own safety, even though that was why he ran scared in the first place!!!!!  I shipped him with Rey and with Poe and now I am NOT above the post TROS Jedistormpilot shipping!!!!!  Finn was just always the most interesting part of the Sequel Trilogy for me and I personally feel like they could have done more with his character.
FAVE ACTOR/ACTRESS: Aight, so I try my best not to “stan” anyone famous because literally no one is perfect and everyone’s done something problematic at some point and if I dare say I like a famous figure, someone’s gonna find something about them and come after me all “OMG THIS PERSON DID/SAID/IS X YOU MONSTER GO DIE!!11!!1″.  In terms of performance, I think all the actors in Star Wars did a lovely job and I’m happy with all of them!  If I had to crush on any, it would probs be Ewan McGregor, John Boyega, or Diego Luna cuz, uh, they hot.  If I had to pick one I liked most, it would honestly probs be Carrie Fisher.  Maybe that’s just partially from missing her now that she’s gone, but I really admire her advocacy and transparence for mental health, and she just seemed like such a funny, kind, strong person.
FAVE PLANET: Aight, this is HARD and I refuse to only pick one planet!  Ok, gonna start off with Coruscant because an endless city planet made up of lights is amazingly gorgeous and it has a Jedi Temple stacked on top of a Sith Temple and is just so cool aaaaa.  Also love Felucia just for being so bright and colorful and pretty.  Mortis for being just as weirdly gorgeous and also Weird Force Shit.  Lothal for the beautiful mountains, the wolves, and the fucking lightspeed center of the planet passage what, Dathomir is delightfully creepy to look at, Crait is really cool with the salt and the red and the ice foxes, Kashyyyk because Wookiees and it’s pretty and I love their treehouses.  Basically if it makes me clap my dumb monkey hands and go “oooh pretty!”, I love it.  The more “not like Earth” it is, the more I love it.
FAVE SPECIES: Hmmmmm, this is a tough one…….  There’s just so many cool-looking species that we know so little about, ya know?  I wanna say either Togrutas or Wookiees.  Togrutas just because the character design is incredible and so fun to work with and also I love Ahsoka, and Wookiees because they have such an interesting culture and backstory and also I want to give Chewbacca a hug.
FAVE CONCEPT: Uhhh, not quite sure I get the question; you mean like just story concept in general?  If that’s it, I’m gonna have to go with just the whole concept of the Force and the Jedi in general.  I mean George, George my man, what the fuck?  How the hell did you come up with this?!?  Mystical psychic space wizards with magic abilities to connect with and use the sentient godlike life force that combined the entire galaxy together.  Oh and also they have COLORFUL GLOWING LASER SWORDS?!?!?  It’s honestly one of the most creative things I’ve seen in popular culture, and that makes me sad that Star Wars now seems to be trying to separate itself from what I think is its most interesting quality because “ugh not EVERYTHING should be about the Jedi guys!”, when like, y’all, without the Jedi, the entire SW universe is basically just another military scifi war story……  Just my opinion tho.
FAVE SHIP: Ok, since pairing was already up there, I assume this means actual ship?  Well, uh, gonna have to be square with y’all, I’m a bad Star Wars fan for this part; I’ve never been the one to memorize ship names and designs and know the exact make and model number of some fancy ship, I’m real bad at that lol.  I’ll say my favorite ship is the Ghost.  Hera flies it and the Rebels Fam lives on it and it’s super cool and it makes me happy!
FAVE WEAPON: LIGHTSABER.  LIGHTSABER LIGHTSABER.  LIGHTSABERLIGHTSABERLIGHTSABERLIGHTSABERLIGHTSABER.  Y’all, c’mon, what did you think I was gonna pick? xD  Lizard brain want glowy shiny colorful big stick that goes whoosh!
FAVE BACKGROUND EXTRA: Again, not entirely sure what this means, but do you mean fave background character?  If so, then it’s a tie between Wilrow Hood and his ice cream machine for the memes, that one clone in TCW who yeets a plate of toast at Cad Bane’s face, or that one background soldier who scoots between Han and Leia arguing in ESB and also Hera and Kanan arguing in Rebels (yes I do headcanon it’s the same guy lol)
FAVE MOMENT/SCENE: This one’s actually pretty easy.  Anakin dying in Luke’s arms in ROTJ, and then his ghost showing up to Luke later at the Ewok party.  I just care so ridiculously much about stupid Anakin and his stupid story and mistakes, and even before I was a prequels stan and had only seen the OT (and wasn’t a huge Vader fan, believe it or not), some part of me just felt so solemn, so fragile watching this, watching the giant monstrous machine falling apart as he fades away to reveal a weary, tired old human man, and it always made me wonder, what the hell happened to him to turn him into that thing?  Seeing that young, beautiful man, basically Luke’s age, showing up as a ghost later, just the fascination, the tender look he shared with Old Ben, just how young he was, that made it all the more mysterious and knowing what I do now, it’s just so much better because my poor, horrible Disaster Man finally did the right thing and he finally found peace and it’s just the only ending I could be happy for Anakin with,  And Luke, I always felt so bad for Luke, being so strong, so brave, finally getting his father back for like five damn minutes and then having to lose him again and just hurting for him but also knowing that it was gonna be okay because Luke had more family now, the ghosts, and Han and Leia and Chewie and R2 and 3PO and Lando and everyone.
FAVE KISS: Luke and Leia (HANG ON LET ME SPEAK) forehead kiss in The Last Jedi.  I know (this one) isn’t meant as romantic, and I know the question is probs about a romantic one and I know that it’s not even a real mouth kiss.  But.  That Luke and Leia scene was my favorite part of the entire movie.  Again, I was missing Carrie a lot, and ugh, after all these years, after not getting to interact the entire previous movie and not at all during this movie, the ONE scene with Carrie and Mark and the pure emotion of it all just knocked me out of my fucking seat.  You could see how connected they were as siblings, how much Leia had missed Luke, how much he had missed her and how sorry he was for leaving, sorry for Ben, sorry for having to leave her again now, Leia knowing Luke was about to die, and just, acceptance.  Love and acceptance.  It was just a final, tender kiss on the forehead, and it was perfect and yeah.  If I do have to pick a romantic lip smooch, it’s probably the Hanleia classic “scoundrel” kiss in Empire Strikes Back.  I still remember watching ESB the first time as a KID and being all eeeeeeee are they gonna– YES they kissed they kissed they kissed finally! and that’s enough for me.
FAVE FIGHT: Obi Wan and Anakin on Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith.  WIthout question.  It’s brilliantly and precisely choreographed to show the intricate nuances of the Obikin breakup in alllllll of its painful glory.  It breaks my heart every time I watch it because every time I watch it I still hope it’s gonna end differently.  That Anakin realizes he can’t kill Obi Wan and ditches Sidious and goes back with Obi Wan to save Padmé.  That Obi Wan realizes he can’t let Anakin die and saves him from burning and from Sidious and takes him back too.  That Obi Wan at least puts Anakin out of his misery which would be godawful painful, but would save him from the horrid life as Vader.  That while they’re fighting, a lava monster appears like in the concept art and Vader and Obi Wan have to put aside their differences and fight the thing and remember how much they mean to each other.  But ugh, this fight was beautifully choreographed and was originally supposed to be a MULTI-MINUTE SINGLE SHOT WHAT THE HELL???  Oooof Hayden and Ewan did such an amazing job and the whole thing just rips my heart out every time in the bestworst way possible
FAVE LINE OF DIALOGUE: Now THIS is hard, I’m not the best at picking favorite lines.  Hmmm, this is HARD.  Let me think.  Gahhhh, it’s hard because I have so many lines I like and I can’t even just narrow down a couple!!!  Ultimately, it’s probably gonna be Yoda’s monologue from Empire Strikes Back: “Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter…”  Just that entire line saying how basically all of us are more than the sum of our parts, that everyone is their own sparkling light made of stardust, I loved it as a kid and I love it now.
FAVE BOOK/COMIC: Answered here
FAVE HERO: Gonna go with Obi Wan!  I already rambled about why I love him, but y’all……. I love him.
FAVE VILLAIN: Anakin Skywalker/Darth McFucking Vader.  I loved him when he was a hero and the silly poor sad boy makes me sad when I see him as a villain all while being an overdramatic asshole and it just makes me wanna hit him with a newspaper for ruining his life and everyone else’s I love him.
FAVE OUTFIT: Answered here
FAVE CREATURE: I love Lothcats/Tookas!  I just heckin’ love cats and now there’s spACE KITTIES WITH SUPER FOOFY TAILS AND BIG EARS OMG Y’ALL I LOVE THEM I JUST REALLY DO AND I REALLY WANT ONE SO I CAN CUDDLE IT ;_;
WHEW.  That was all of the faves, thanks so much for asking me!!!  Sorry this took so long to do, this was kinda a hell week haha!

TCW rewatch
Season One
Ambush
How did Dooku know about the meeting with Katoonko? Did a certain Chancellor inform him?
 Jedi Grandpa!
"See? See? Size matters not!" You know, it makes you wonder how many times Yoda got underestimated because he's tiny. Also, the giggle afterwards.
The resigned clones. Aw.
I will never stop finding it amusing how Yoda turns into a tiny bouncy zip ball of death in a fight. Trust Yoda to weaponize being a nuisance. Also, a beautiful example of deadly dodging
Aw. The part where Yoda talks with the clones about how different they are in the Force.
Also aw, Yoda and the birbs after the fight.
Also, also, Yoda is actually quite friendly to Ventress. When he's talking to Dooku there is something of an edge (not much, though), but with Ventress he's using the Trickster Mentor Voice. Maybe you should have surrendered, Asajj?
Clone tattoo count: 2
Rising Malevolence
Anakin, since when are you asking the Council for permission first? Are you secretly jealous of Plo Koon, or something?
Anakin telling Ahsoka to behave is funny, because it's Anakin.
You know, Anakin, you seem to be the only Jedi upset about Ahsoka speaking up. And don't think I didn't notice you Palpatine, making a pointed comment about how bold Ahsoka is.
Also, interesting contrast between Anakin insisting on finding the weapon being more important to cut to Plo Koon emphatically saying he values clone lives more than finding the weapon. Of course, it turns out that he meant to go look for surviviors ten seconds later, but nevertheless, interesting contrast.
Of course, Anakin decides to reinterpret orders. It's what Anakin does. And yes, he was always going to look for surviviors, but has it occured to you, Anakin, that you could have told Ahsoka that and not put her through all the worry? That was kinda shitty of you.
And here we have Plo Koon performing Peak Jedi Bullshit, by going on a walk on an escape pod in space to fight battle droids. And then doing a Fastball Special with a clone.
So, we have Yoda, Mace and Obi-Wan in camp "geater scope" and Anakin, Plo and Ahsoka in camp "save lives". It's interesting to note that it's one of the situations where both sides have a point. Saving the lives of the clones and Plo Koon is important! It's the right thing to do! But at the same time, Anakin and Ahsoka have a vital mission that they've taken a detour from.
Palpatine is doing subtle shit stirring, of course, by hinting most hintingly that Anakin's decision might be a costly mistake. And then immediately calling Anakin to tell them the Council is "furious" when they're actually concerned and kinda annoyed.
Anakin's reply that he came to save Plo Koon and no mention of clones is pretty telling.
Aw, Ahsoka sensing Plo Koon.
"We're clones, we're meant to be expendable." "Not. To. Me." <3
So, obvs, Anakin doesn't look completely great in this episode - but there's also the point that Ahsoka is his first child I mean padawan, so he was bound to make mistakes. He certainly teaches her about persistence and determination, but he also fails to trust her and reassure her. Equally, with the clones, they may not be his main concern when looking for survivors - he wants to find Plo Koon, because he's Ahsoka's friend first, but he also shows concern for them and care once they're on the ship.
Shadow of Malevolence
And now it's time for Anakin Has a Reckless Plan. Ahsoka and Plo caution him against it, but Anakin is certain it will work out.
Cute detail: Plo and Ahsoka note that Anakin inspires great loyalty in his clones by leading by example.
It's time for The Villains Will be Doing a War Crime!
Hello there Space Manta Rays! You look like you have a lot of teeth!
Oh Anakin. It's good that you eventually listened to Ahsoka and Plo Koon and did change your plan for one where it's not just you as the last man standing, because the clones aren't space wizards like you.
So, it's probably a good moment to note that Anakin's plan wasn't The Worst or anything like that--it does work with the changes suggested by Ahsoka and Plo Koon, and it might have worked even better if Anakin had listened to them from the start.
It's also an interesting point to see how being such a good pilot and so strong in the Force affects Anakin's judgement--it just doesn't occur to him that his baseline isn't the same as the Clones. It's not malicious, and it is understandable. It's a common human bias to think of the things that come easily to you as easy for everyone, when it doesn't have to be the case.
Destroy Malevolence:
Hello Padme!
I see Palpatine sent her right into the embrace of General Grevious. Damn it, Palpatine.
You know how people say that Luke is gentle and so on like Padme, and Leia is brash and aggressive like Anakin. Ahahahaha. Ahahahahaha. You know, the Padme who yelled at Anakin to continue shooting the Malevolence because she won't be a hostage? The Padme who rigged her ship to blow up and nearly took out Grevious?
Plo Koon once again points out Anakin is taking terrible risks. Obi-Wan apparently decided it's time for him to join the party. There was no mention of him taking terrible risks.
Padme and Anakin are being subtle. They're just missing a "we're in love" flag.
Hinty hint, huh, Obi-Wan?
Cutting off the transmission you don't like, Grevious?
And boom goes Malevolence
Rookies
Clone tattoo count: 2
Did the sergeant dye his hair and eyebrows to look like he's going grey?
Great acting there, infiltrator droids. You tried.
A+ acting there, Rex.
Hevy, no!
Downfall of a Droid
Anakin is Having a Reckless and Ahsoka Is the Voice of Reason once more.
Ah, this is the Anakin and Attachment Are a Problem episode. And also Obi-Wan could stand to be nicer about droids.
And here's R3, to whom Anakin will be mean, because he's not R2, but it's OK, because R3 is secretly a spy.
How to disguise a Jedi: put a poncho over your Jedi clothes. Don't hide anything else.
OK, Anakin isn't particularly mean to R3. And he does make himself look particularly incompetent.
I notice that both Grevious and the Trandshan sleezy droid guy have An Accent, unlike our heroes.
R2 is making a valiant escape.
R3 isn't even trying to pretend he doesn't want Anakin caught or dead, is he?
Not my favourite episode.
Duel of the Droids
Really Ahsoka. Don't be mean to Rex and have him carry around a droid.
And here we have Anakin and Ahsoka demonstrating that Jedi don't need parachutes.
R3 REALLY isn't bothering pretending not to be a spy. Like really really.
Ahsoka vs Grevious is going quite well for Ahsoka, so far.
Well, it was going well.
R2 defeats his Evil Counterpart. The day is saved! Anakin didn't learn his important lesson.
Bombad Jedi
Palpatine uses Concerned Grandpa Facade on Padme. It's not very effective.
Hello Jar-Jar. You're like Jaskier on steroids. Someone just needs to let you compose catchy earworms.
So, everyone looks reasonable for looking Jar-Jar behind, but this is one of this occassions when it turns out he's vital.
Oops. Padme gets to hear that the Republic isn't helping very much. (Although trusting the Trade Federation isn't exactly smart on Ono's part...)
Whose cloak could this be, hmmm?
Padme is sure having fun rescuing herself and pretending a Jedi is saving her there.
Yep, trusting the Trade Federation is a bad idea.
And this is why giant bug friends are good friends.
And we end on a Very Important Lesson.
Cloak of Darkness
Interesting little detail: Ahsoka is sent out with Luminara, without Anakin. This seems to be situation as normal, too, so Padawans were not expected to learn and work only with their Masters.
Famous last words, Ahsoka
And I think we see Anakin's influence on Ahsoka, when she threatens Gunray. Luminara shuts that down pretty quickly. It's also interesting that Ahsoka charges in despite Luminara having everything perfectly in grip.
On consideration, this might be one of the reasons why Jedi would send padawans to do stuff with other Jedi. It gives them the opportunity to notice anything of concern that the padawan's Master missed or messed up.
Hello Asajj. You're doing pretty well in this episode.
Poor Luminara. Ahsoka's inner Leroy Jenkins was very strong that day.
Luminara uses Taunt on Asajj. It's super effective.
You know, it's... interesting that the person who says that sometimes soldiers should disobey orders turns out to be a traitor. Not sure if like, given a. what happens later in SW and b. who exactly used the "I was just obeying orders" in RL.
And our traitor gets reward by a stabbing.
Luminara praises Ahsoka. Aw.
Lair of Grevious
Hello there, Kit!
 Aww, Nahdar and Kit.
Clone Trooper: I'll blast the door! Nahdar: I will stab the door! Kit: Guys, let's just open it?
A statue of a warrior holding a head. All good and not creepy at all.
Hello there Grevious's masks. That is also good and not creepy.
And we have one of the earliest examples of the war taking toll on the Jedi with Nahdar's reaction to loss. He swears revange and says that the strong win, both of which aren't very Jedi sentiments, though they are understandable reactions. Which eventually gets Nahdar killed, since he decides to fight Grevious on his own.
And you know, it sucks that Kit and Nahdar don’t actually have a moment for Kit to be more supportive about this.

Just when you think, okay, last week STAR WARS fandom was pretty good for fic, but it definitely can’t keep doing that every week, when n o p e, fandom puts out more fic that leaves me incoherent in both joy and suffering at the same exact intensity as previously. I will put this fandom up against so many others for fic that makes me feel things and leaves me feeling like, yes, this fic satisfied something in me in the way that fic, at its best, is meant to do! ✦ In All The World by Ammar, obi-wan & anakin & cast, 76.6k wip    The story of how Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi tamed each other, from Naboo to Anakin’s early days at the Temple. ✦ Sun Kissed by Vee017, obi-wan/anakin & cast, nsfw, past sexual assault issues, 81.7k wip    Being on a world that supports slavery is one thing. Buying a slave and bringing him into Republic space is entirely another. ✦ time to change the road you’re on by wreckageofstars, obi-wan & anakain & ahsoka & cast, 27.3k wip    The end of the Clone War is near - the fall of the Republic even nearer. As he ponders the unexpected vision of his former Master, Obi-Wan gets a visitor from the other end of the temporal spectrum. Feels ensue. Otherwise known as the “excuse to give a certain Jedi all the hugs” fic. ✦ Calm down, Anakin by DonkerRood, obi-wan/anakin, nsfw, 1.7k    Obi-Wan finds a better way than meditation to calm Anakin down. ✦ untitled by fireflyfish, obi-wan/anakin/padme & ahsoka, 1.1k    Pants and shirts flew through the air as Ahsoka sat perched on her master’s bed, watching him frantically panic over his wardrobe. ✦ A Walking Shadow by lilyconrad, obi-wan & anakin & padme & luke & leia & palpatine & cast, 74.6k    It is five years into the Empire’s ascension, an order built on the blood and bodies of the Jedi. How did you manage to kill the Jedi Obi-wan Kenobi?” full details + recs under the cut!
✦ In All The World by Ammar, obi-wan & anakin & cast, 76.6k wip    The story of how Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi tamed each other, from Naboo to Anakin’s early days at the Temple.    Chapter 14: This is an update rec and will focus on the current chapter, rather than the fic as a whole. I tried wait until there were at least two chapters of this one, but I love this fic so much that I couldn’t resist jumping on it as soon as I saw it updated and I just really, really love this fic a lot. It’s centered on a plot, that something is going on with someone having hired a bounty hunter to possibly assassinate the Queen post-The Phantom Menace, but of course it turns out to be so much more complicated than that, and it’s about Obi-Wan struggling to deal with the loss of Qui-Gon and getting to know Anakin and starting to teach him. So much thought and care has gone into the story part of this fic, just as much as has gone into the characters of the fic, that it’s one of the best fics I’ve read in the fandom and I look forward to every update on it. This chapter especially had me taking screenshots of it to remind myself of some of the stuff I loved because it hit me straight on with how good this fic is: Your focus determines your reality, Qui-Gon always said. It was one of those Jedi teachings that seemed strange, the first time you encountered it. Reality seemed concrete; unshiftabe, unyielding to the ideas of beings. Stone and duracrete cared nothing for your focus, your attitudes. If you thought that a durasteel wall would yield to you, it wouldn’t. Fools ran at durasteel walls and bashed their heads on it and bled. And yet: didn’t focus matter? This is in the middle of an investigation, while Obi-Wan is discussing a Naboo artist’s painting in the office of a person of interest, and the layers of the story here are fantastic–it’s a scene that’s about Obi-Wan on a case, it’s a scene about expanding the culture and history of Naboo, it’s a scene about the Jedi philosophy and what objectivity and focus mean, that it’s at the heart of the Jedi code. It’s this almost small scene amongst a bigger case fic story, but it had such an impact on me because it felt so incredibly solid like it could have been lifted right out of the GFFA itself, like this story is such an incredibly natural, organic extention of Naboo’s culture that it fit seamlessly for me. It’s not even really meant to be about that! It’s just adding in detail that would naturally come up in the story! And yet it’s one of my favorite things, for how well-written it is and how it balances characterization with it, it’s not just info dumping things on me, the reader. And it’s that incredibly enjoyable sense of solidity and smoothness (it’s so interesting to read about Obi-Wan digging into all of this! and teaching Anakin as he goes!) that make this one of my favorites in the fandom, too. ✦ Sun Kissed by Vee017, obi-wan/anakin & cast, nsfw, past sexual assault issues, 81.7k wip    Being on a world that supports slavery is one thing. Buying a slave and bringing him into Republic space is entirely another.    Chapter 28: This is an update rec and will focus on this chapter, rather than the fic as a whole. This fic updated after a long break on my birthday, which was another great present for me! The chapter is a little harder on the Jedi than I usually like to read/goes with canon, but one thing that really soothed me is that it was about them trying to find their way back, that these are good people who were lost in the darkness for awhile, that the reactions against them are from characters who are hurt right now and are upset and have a right to those feelings, but it doesn’t make me hate anyone. Plus, it’s another step closer to Obi-Wan and Anakin reuniting and even now their time apart is still very much focused on each other, how deeply they care about each other and how they’re each a catalyst for the other’s reactions, like, yesssss, if I can’t have kissing just yet, then I want them thinking about the other and getting mad because of what’s been stirred up on the other’s behalf! That is my jam right there. ✦ time to change the road you’re on by wreckageofstars, obi-wan & anakain & ahsoka & cast, 27.3k wip    The end of the Clone War is near - the fall of the Republic even nearer. Anakin Skywalker, caught up in the events that lead to the rise of the Empire and the loss of everything he holds dear, finds himself sent nearly two decades into the future.    Chapter 6: This is an update rec and thus will focus on this chapter, rather than the fic as a whole. This fic updated on my birthday and, shit, what an update it was because every time I think I can’t read it with my feelings on my sleeve again, the fic pulls out another chapter that just hits me right in the feelings place. The chapter once again does a gorgeous job of showing just what’s weighing down all of these characters, how much all of them have suffered and why they made the choices they did, how each one of them is understandable. Even when Anakin made such terrible choices, the only feeling I have is that I desperately, desperately want to save him, just as Obi-Wan and Ahsoka do. And Obi-Wan has something precious that needed him here more than anywhere else and the fic got that. And Ahsoka only had bits and pieces of what had happened and even living under the Empire wasn’t as heavy as finding out more. And one choice that was fascinating to me was that Obi-Wan held back on the worst of Anakin’s crimes–there’s no mention of the younglings he killed, for example. And I was all set to be, “HEY, MAYBE THAT’S A THING THAT SHOULD BE MENTIONED.” but what this fic does is beautifully shows that it wouldn’t have helped to tell that, it would have only crushed Anakin further, it wouldn’t have done anyone any actual good to tell that. And Obi-Wan not saying it felt like he made that choice, I thought about it from his point of view, and the fic doesn’t have to hit me over the head with it, I just got it, from the way he looked at Anakin, the way he hugged Anakin, the way he had hope in Anakin again, which was so much more important than coming down on him or crushing him for things his future self had done. And that choice was pitch perfect Obi-Wan Kenobi right there. I’m sorry to see them leaving Tatooine, those chapters were the ones that were the absolute best of the fic so far, but I’m also so eager to see where this goes and to see if Anakin can pull this off and already this fic has my fannish heart. I love it so much and I’m so glad it exists. ✦ Let’s Kill Hitler by updiddlyupup, obi-wan & ahsoka & cast, 6.1k wip    Even in times of war, it’s not usual to wake up with a different Jedi Master than the one you had when you went to sleep.    Eeeeee, omg universe hopping/time travel/??? fic! Where Ahsoka wakes up in a universe where Anakin Skywalker isn’t around and her Master is Obi-Wan Kenobi and I love it already. I would have jumped on this fic just for the premise alone, but it’s already engaging and has me hooked on it! I already love the echoes of both universes that are here–that Ahsoka remembers the canon one, while Obi-Wan clearly remembers an entirely different relationship with her, that both have an important connection there, but it’s not quite the same and it’s both a little heartbreaking and absolutely fascinating how they play off each other, how Ahsoka turns to him for help, but not quite in the way he’s clearly used to. And this Obi-Wan is different from the Master Obi-Wan she knew as well and it’s fascinating to see how different he is without having trained Anakin, how he had molded himself in certain directions and without Anakin to do that for, he’s still Obi-Wan, but not quite the same. And I love that it just quietly made me really sad, even as awful as canon!Obi-Wan’s life could be sometimes, there was such spark and life there. It’s a fic that’s just barely above 6k right now, it’s only two chapters, and yet already know that I want more immediately, because it’s moving at a good clip, not skipping over things too quickly, but it’s not dragging its feet, either, the Jedi get right into whatever the heck is going on and start trying to figure it out and that lends a nice sense of getting a move on. And, of course, I want to know what the heck is going on in the greater picture, too! What went wrong and where it went wrong and what should be the right series of events! :D :D :D ✦ Equinox by lilyconrad, obi-wan/anakin, sith!obi-wan/sith!anakin, 4.3k wip    During the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan and Anakin crash on a remote planet and take shelter in the ruins of a grand estate only to find they are not alone.    I was always going to be biased, since this was a birthday gift for me, it was always going to appeal to everything I wanted, but, oh, I genuinely love it and would have whether it was meant for me or not. There’s so much really beautiful imagery in the first chapter already, there’s so much lush description of the planet that Jedi!Obi-Wan and Jedi!Anakin land on, there’s such a feel of it being a gothic horror piece already, just from the atmosphere the fic paints. And already I love the little details, the way Obi-Wan and Anakin worry over each other, the way Obi-Wan tells Anakin to just sit down as he pours more energy into healing Anakin as best he can, no matter how much it costs himself, the descriptions of the mansion they find themselves at, and the killer cliffhanger ending, of course. I want the next chapter so badly already and I am so eagerly looking forward to the two pairs meeting each other and having to deal with seeing how much is or isn’t reflected back at themselves and whatever else will come from this story. It’s a great set-up and I’m going to be circling this one like a hawk, let me tell you. ✦ Ghosts of a Future Not Yet Past by LurkingCrow, obi-wan & luke & cast, 4.2k    On Mortis the boundaries between past, present and future are paper thin. As he ponders the unexpected vision of his former Master, Obi-Wan gets a visitor from the other end of the temporal spectrum. Feels ensue. Otherwise known as the “excuse to give a certain Jedi all the hugs” fic.    This fic is exactly what I want out of fandoma giant excuse to let Obi-Wan Kenobi have a hug already. And it was so lovely to see a fic where I could absolutely feel the weight of Luke’s love for Obi-Wan, how much Luke understood the weight of what Obi-Wan had done for them all, without tearing down any other characters, but instead just recognizing everything that Obi-Wan had poured into this life. And, oh, it was such lovely writing, it was so warm-hearted, with that undercurrent of heavy pain and suffering that is this galaxy, but that there’s still good there, and what could have just been an iddy fic was instead one that really felt spot on, both in tone and how both characters were perfect, this fic got both Obi-Wan and Luke. Like, yes, this is the Luke Skywalker I know. Such a good fic, ahhh. ✦ Calm down, Anakin by DonkerRood, obi-wan/anakin, nsfw, 1.7k    Obi-Wan finds a better way than meditation to calm Anakin down.    What this fic does for me is hit me right in the iddy want, where Anakin is all restless energy and can’t calm himself down, he gets too wound up, so Obi-Wan finds a better way to help him–by fucking the noise right out of his head. I am so here for Obi-Wan with a gentle but firm hand on him, praising him when he’s good, but holding him down again when he gets too impatient, teaching Anakin to calm himself and wait for what’s coming, to trust that it will come, that he can trust Obi-Wan. And that Anakin will be rewarded with quiet in his head and it’s more than just Obi-Wan’s fingers in him finally, that he’s finally getting thoroughly fucked and it leads to this calm, content place for him, where Obi-Wan’s got this, got him, and he doesn’t have to worry about it. I will read that every single day of my life because Anakin Skywalker is going to need it for the rest of his life, too. ✦ untitled by fireflyfish, obi-wan/anakin/padme & ahsoka, 1.1k    Pants and shirts flew through the air as Ahsoka sat perched on her master’s bed, watching him frantically panic over his wardrobe.    Based on the fanart, this is an AU where Obi-Wan and Padme are Senators and are sort of kind of maybe courting Jedi Anakin together and, oh, this was a total scream, it was so much fun and fit the art so well and I’m just over the moon for Anakin being so entirely gone on these two ridiculously hot people, who are just the right amount of similar and yet still would give Anakin different things. It’s sexy and flirty, Anakin being so spun around these two incredibly hot people, the most beautiful disaster to their polished teasing, and it’s so good, I would read a hundred thousand words of this, easy. ✦ A Walking Shadow by lilyconrad, obi-wan & anakin & padme & luke & leia & palpatine & cast, 74.6k    It is five years into the Empire’s ascension, an order built on the blood and bodies of the Jedi. None survived, they say, and the handsome, icy profile of Lord Vader plastered across every Imperial city leaves no room for doubt in the minds of many. But Vader knows there is at least one left, one that escaped him on Mustafar all those years ago.    Final Rec: This is one of the earliest fics of Lily’s that I read and it’s created a special place in my heart because I love the concept, that Anakin redemption fics are incredibly special to me, and I felt like I went on a bit of a journey with this one, that I’d been following it for awhile and each update meant something to me. Ultimately this fic is about the path of redemption, that it’s not an easy road to step onto, much less walk down one that never really has a specific end, and this fic does a beautiful job with that, how Anakin does such terrible things and the ways he is or isn’t able to come back from them. And while I love canon a great deal, Anakin never really was redeemed, he died to save his son, he had one moment of selflessness (in a selfish way, honestly, because that’s Anakin for you, I love him so much) rather than actually doing any of the work, but this is a story that has a real cost for him. This is a story where it’s not easy, where he struggles, but it’s worth it in the end. Because his chilren love him, because Obi-Wan loves him, because he can’t hurt any more people that he loves. It’s a story that’s novel length because that’s what it takes to write Anakin’s redemption in full like this, and it’s about the fight on Mustafar going differently, that leaves Vader without the suit, and I love that Padme is such an important weight in this story, even as it’s largely about Obi-Wan and Anakin at the heart of it. It’s an entirely gen fic, this is about them as brothers, but my id was pleased because they’re both parents to the children, because Obi-Wan is the shining light in Anakin’s darkness, because Anakin is the reason Obi-Wan gets out of bed in the morning, because the ending of the fic was so very, very Anakin Skywalker, so desperate to keep the people he loves close and safe, so teetering on the edge of darkness because he doesn’t know how to handle things, because he’s so wrenched around on the inside, and how things end up… I definitely kind of got a little misty-eyed by the end, because it was the exact bittersweet notes that a fic like this needed. Which isn’t to forget that there’s actually a plot going on here! And world-building! There are a lot of really cool, interesting details and a genuinely intense final fight that has shades of horror in it in such a great way, the creatures that show up in this fic, the Sith artifacts that are used, are genuinely creepy and had me on the edge of my seat while I was reading because the action was so good! But, oh, the second to last scene (and, hell, the epilogue as well), especially with the kids, just hit me right in the feelings place and I can’t tell you how satisfying this fic was. It’s such a good, good fic for all these elements, for both of these characters, for fans of plot, for fans of having to work for redemption and how that makes it all the more satisfying, for fans who just want a good story. I’m sad to see the story end, but it was a great end and so incredibly worth reading. ✦ A Time For Thought by TardisIsTheOnlyWayToTravel, obi-wan & luke & leia & han, 1.4k    “The Princess is right.” General Kenobi speaks up. “While on the Death Star, I was informed that a tracking beacon had been placed on this ship. Open the hidden compartments, Solo. We are not out of danger yet. The tracking beacon must be destroyed.” “You were informed?” Luke echoes the General, looking confused. “By who?”    You’ll probably need to have read A Time for Change before this one, though, the basic premise is that Darth Vader finds the Death Star to be an abomination, so the events during A New Hope go a little differently, and now that the Rebels have escaped, they’re discussing just what that even means. I especially enjoyed the balance between Obi-Wan’s history with Vader and not giving too much away, not trying to make him Anakin too much, because he’s truly Vader at this point, yet not forgetting the weight of all that context added in. That Obi-Wan still knows him best of all of them is there, even as they’re all important to this scene, and I really appreciated that, right along with this different universe they’re in! ✦ absolute power by cosmicocean, leia & luke & han & ben & cast, 8.6k    In the end, she takes the offer. In time, Luke will come to regret ever leading her to it. Where Leia becomes Empress with the intention of doing good, and falls so far.    I was intrigued by the idea of Leia as Empress and I’ve enjoyed fic by this author before, so I knew the writing would be lovely! And it definitely was, especially in the first half. I admit, I don’t buy that Leia would fall this way, I can’t see this happening to her, but I enjoyed the really pretty writing and the character moments and the plot of it and how this was a different universe and how this affected so many changes all over the place. I enjoyed reading it a lot! ✦ untitled by stonefreeak, obi-wan & cast, ~1k    Anonymous asked: I don’t think you’ve done a fic for where Chancellor!Obi-Wan actually present the evidence and starts the corruption investigation?    Another shorter piece, but one that I really enjoyed for the brief touches of characterization (Obi-Wan’s attempts to balance Anakin’s feelings with duty, how both pull at him, the choices he makes and how he does so) and just the really super fun continuing of a story where the Jedi are no longer quite so hampered by their being under the Senate’s authority, how they can actually start to do something and we get a really lovely look at how that might play out, how they start to look into things. I just really love this AU a lot and this was a fun piece to add to it! ✦ Ben and Grandpa Go Camping by darthnickels, vader & leia & ben, 2.9k   post-ROTJ AU. Leia takes her young son to the one man she hates most– the man who may be the only one in the Galaxy who can help him   I think one of the things that hurt most about this fic is that there’s nothing of Anakin in this portrayal of him, that I can’t see Anakin Skywalker in this character at all. This is just Vader and it makes me miss the character I love so much, even as he’s interacting with Leia and Ben, even as he’s almost more of a ghost in his own body than anything. Young Ben is adorable and Leia is appropriately angry and distant and everything hurts in just the way it should. ✦ untitled by legobiwan, obi-wan & dooku, ~1k    The Count took his napkin and dabbed at his mouth, placing it on the table and leaning back in his chair. “So tell me, Mr. Hardeen. How did you manage to kill the Jedi Obi-wan Kenobi?”    I am such a sucker for Obi-Wan and Dooku’s dynamic, that they’re at such odds with each other while there’s a connection there, while Dooku has an interest in Obi-Wan, because he would have been such a good addition to their side. This is just a small snippet of a larger scenario, but it works well on its own and it’s all about that verbal sparring with elegance that both of these characters have, even when Obi-Wan is in Rako Hardeen form. It was a delight to read and a fun piece to add to the collection of these two!
