Posting again with a new au, very predictable behavior from me. I’m just gonna put the basics of this au here since it’s quite long (loosely inspired by fics, mainly ‘The Darkening Of Your Soul’ by Maeglin_Yedi if you’ve read it you know exactly what part of this fic I’ve swiped haha )

Basically, after the war and rebuilding, the ministry figures out that Harry is Voldemorts horcrux from Dumbledore’s notes (and his portrait) they come to the conclusion that Harry is a liability and so they arrest him and then execute him.

Due to his being the master of death though, Harry can’t die and instead heads right back to limbo. He has a talk with death about what his options are and decides to dimension hop. (Cause time travel that let’s you affect the future technically isn’t possible in HP and I hate the cursed child so..) he tries to create a better future for himself twice before ending up in the dimension this au actually takes place in. In this universe, Harry Potter died when the curse was shot at him (but it still rebounded for reasons I will explain later) due to this, Harry can’t inhabit the body of a younger him, and so just uses his original body. This time though, he’s doing everything differently, and his plans include getting a certain dark lord to help him. Which should be easy peasy

Cyn "Cynthia" Swapped with - Uzi Age - 18 She was 6 years old when her mom died and the trauma from the event caused her to shut down and stop talking. She learned sign language from Noah so she could communicate. For anyone else that doesn't understand her, she'll either use text on her visor or a projected text box. She doesn't interact with anyone and prefers to keep to herself, the only one she really opens up to is her brother. He's the only one who can call her by her actual name, she'll ignore everyone else. Inherited her solver from her mom, which activated after her mom's passing. She's scared of Khan.

Noah Swapped with - No one! Rewritten for story Age 25 7 years older than Cyn. He was 13 when his mom died. No one knows why he's so tall. He took care of Cyn after their mother died. He learned sign language and taught it to Cyn. He's a member of the Worker Defense Force. Loves doing anything! boi stop hiding your pain and get help He wants his dad's approval, not only for himself, but for his sister as well. Does not have the Solver at least not yet

Khan Swapped with - No one! Rewritten for story. Leader of the Worker Defense Force and Outpost 3. Very stoic and closed off, especially after Alice died. After his wife died, he completely threw himself into his work, neglecting nearly everything else (including his kids ): ) Because of Cyn's strong resemblance to Alice, he can't bear to even look at her. He killed his wife.

Alice Swapped with - Nori Huge fukin nerd. Western movies were her favorite. Her pet-name for Khan was "Sheriff" She loved to play "dress up" especially with her kids. She was still part of the Solver Experiments, but did not cause the implosion, that was still Nori's doing. She had pretty bad Solver Moment when it took her over and she slaughtered an entire apartment block. She couldn't stop herself and begged Khan to kill her. She was 33 when she died.

no place sonic! i won’t lie, this was a tough one. but i wanted to make him a force of nature, literally the wind, so this is a sonic without limits. he doesn’t hold back, and his intensity has earned him a bit of a... reputation... across the seas. basically, people respect him, but they fear him, too. like anyone would respect and fear a hurricane.

he’s also the bearer of the curse (6 chaos emeralds). i was thinking, i don’t think the emeralds can really be destroyed? so when the prime dimension got shattered, they fled to one of sonic’s shattered versions. since the chaos emeralds like him so much, it makes sense to me that they’d seek refuge in their favorite person... or at least a piece of him.

without all seven though, attaining a true super form is impossible. not that he even knows about the 6 he has stored in his heart in the first place. maybe prime shadow will be able to help him out with that, hm?

okay quick context for this rq- this is an au where it diverges after freaking out- instead of possessing the truck, lewis ends up chasing the gang for a while, maybe a week or two? arthur and vivi don't know why this random ghost they met ages ago keeps going after them, but one things for sure- he really, really wants arthur's head on a spike.

cut to the present- arthur got separated from vivi and mystery, and lewis ends up chasing him into the woods!

oct 1 - aqua ring

man why does the aqua ring gotta look like… that.

… i am trying something new this october, which is to just.. focus on one au. which isn’t to say every piece will be in the same au, but just that instead of agonizing over prompts, i can just keep developing one idea.

i am also doing a new au. i’m too invested in most of the others to do rushed drawtober pieces for them 🤣

Help, they're too cute, all of them! (Not me writing more of Daemon-wakes-up-before-the-twins-are-born!AU because the current scene in Resonant is kicking my ass...)

Daemon bundled them into thick furs, taking care to make sure their heads and ears were covered, until only small wisps of black and silver escaped along the sides of their round little faces. He grinned at the sight of them swallowed by the furs, nearly spherical in either arm, and crept out with his bounty, both utterly silent for the entirety of the walk to Caraxes’s enclosure. There was a trace of warmth in the light breeze, a promise of spring, and the air lacked the bite of months before. When spring came, Daemon guessed, it would come quickly to melt the snow that remained on the ground. Caraxes snuffed at his sons, and they both happily babbled at the dragon for the few minutes Daemon left them on the ground beside him to fetch his own personal saddle, as he’d taken to calling it. He secured them to it first before fastening the straps around his own chest, and when he was finished, he had one on either side of his back, peering over his shoulders.

Idk, I think they turned out really nice, I just wanted to practice drawing in different settings with different techniques cause I tend to draw in the same lighting a lot, so I wanted to play around with unifying colours as well as lightings and overlays. The unifying colours were really fun to do, and I definitely wanna try it again, though I do worry it muddied some skin tones...

It was fun! Though I do mildly regret drawing them all on the same canvas 😭

Yeah, I like the idea of her being an orchid mantis. It fits her whole "sweet on the outside, dangerous on the inside" thing. Mantises don't do this, but I have this mental image of her face being smooth and human-looking, but being able to unfold to reveal her mandibles+more alarming features when angered. Also, the gender dynamics work well given her resentment of entitled men and how small males of that species are compared to females.

Between this lady, Helen/Queenie, and Valentino, Vox just has a knack for getting into toxic/abusive "relationships" with insect demons.
