since i couldn't stop thinking about him all day. here's what ceri actually looks like 99% of the time
something very important is that, no matter how much people used to mix them up as kids, ceri is not a kirby clone. he is his own orb, who takes over red kirby's role in the events of amazing mirror (since red kirby is a nameless and personality-less character in that game).
ceri's a knight from ripple star, serving under the queen. he met kirby shortly after dark matter and zero 2 were defeated during kirby 64 and they became fast friends.
a while after, when ceri was visiting popstar to hang out with kirby, dark meta knight attacked and split them both into two. kirby got keeby, while ceri got minty.
all 4 together defeated dark mind. though ceri was shaken by the whole thing and decided saving the world was not for him. so he only shows up to play.
here's what he looked like at that age, along with a comparison with the real red kirby. so you won't get them confused!
ceri and kirby meet during 64, while cherry cola (red kirby) split from kirby around the time of adventure.

#oc: ceri#consider this the prequel to his former introduction. i have a lot to say about this man but i need to figure out how to do it#ceri's so much more than his role in katam. that only came wayyy later since it lined up so well. you'll see eventually#but i wanted to make it explicitly clear that ceri is not kirby or a clone of his since this kinda left my circle a little#and he was tagged as red kirby. which is wrong. since he's his own orb (though i get the confusion considering i was using official artwork#i wanted to replace a CPU with an actual character so that's why he was given that role and i like pretending art of red kirby is of him#he'll never be tagged as red kirby or refered to as such. i hope i'm making myself clear on this because. words hard#ceri's supposed to be percieved as a grown up at all times except in these brief glimpses at his childhood#so he's a “canonically” adult character while kirby and co are canonically kids#i didn't think this warranted its own post though. so give it up for reblog number 6#i think that's all i have to say. expect more of this orb in the future#my doodles#kirby oc#kirby#dr slushie#keeby#cherry cola#repeat reblog#kusamochi and minty got left out as they're currently being redesigned
