Nikoleta, at thirteen, wiped at her forehead to get some of the sweat off

She looks up when Chiron calls her.

A boy with gray eyes and brown hair is standing next to him out of his wheelchair

He's rubbing his arm and looks all around awkward

"Yea?" Nikoleta responds as she puts her dagger back in its scabbard

"Can you please show James around?" He asks as he waves his arm towards the boy

Nikoleta nods and walks up the small hill, "Hey, I'm Nikoleta."

He smiles, really looking more like a grimace, "James."

She starts walking, "We were just at the arena, that's usually where sword practice is held."

"This is the Dining Pavilion, all the campers gather here to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don't worry your cabin leader will tell you the times." Nikoleta explains as they pass by the area.

When they get to the Pegasus stable James's eyes wide, "Wow!"

Nikoleta smiles at that, "You want to go meet them?" At his nod she takes his hand and leads him inside

She instantly goes to an all gray Pegasus, who upon seeing her gently bumps her nose against Nikoleta's shoulder.

"This is Starlight, Starlight this is James." She introduces the two.

"What do I do?" He whispers.

"Just hold your hand out, when she's ready she'll come to you."

And so he does and not even a second later does Starlight bumps her nose against his hand.

He laughs and ends up lightly patting her mane.

After a few seconds of silence James looks up at Nikoleta, "So who brought you here? I mean Ghien helped me get here."

"I've been here for as long as I can remember." She shrugs before smirking.

"So how did you like Ghien? I know he can be a bit . . . high spirited."

James groans and buries his head in Starlight's mane, "You mean insane! I'm surprised I made it in one piece." He looks up, only showing his eyes, "Is he always like that?"

Nikoleta nods, "And unfortunately for you he likes to check on the demigods he's helped to camp. But you do get used to him."

At that James groans and gently faceplants back in her mane.

"Is Starlight yours?" He asks, his voice muffled.

"No. None of us own the pegasusi. They come here when they want to and we provide them with a safe space to rest, food, and water. Starlight and I just get along the most." Nikoleta explains as she pets her.

James finally looks up, "So I guess it's real then."

"The gods, this whole thing really. I mean it's really hard to be able to make Starlight seem so real, quirks or not." He explains, seeing Nikoleta's confusion.

"Do you know who your godly parent is? I know Chiron said that most of use get claimed around 13. But mines hasn't claimed me yet."

"Oh! My mom's Hecate. I wouldn't worry too much about that though. They swore on the Styx, so you'll get claimed eventually."

James frowns at that, "Where will I stay til then?"

"With the Hermes kids. I'd watch my pockets around them, they like to pickpocket to test their skills. Also watch out for their pranks."

James nods, "I'll keep that in mind."

//Some Nikoleta sketchies. I was really digging the right base so I played around with that. I quite like how the one in the middle came out. Also featured is that one pose that Hancock does. (Partly cause I’d considered possibly throwing in a bit of Kuja into her bloodline. Also it was a pose to push the line of action to a bit of an extreme.) Also got some concepts of how her hair looks with her devil fruit activated. I’d pictured like a billowing volcanic ash cloud or something. Somewhat falling in line with the Greek theme I’m trying to give her, Niko’s main fighting style revolves around the Greek Pankration style mixed with her df abilities. The furthest right drawing is supposed to be with her forming an arm out of her element.

Y, AI, AU

I am....WAY behind in answering this ask even though I've had the ask list up for a month waiting for me to remember it so uh....yeah!

Y. Describe the first story you ever wrote.

The first story I can remember writing was loosely a Kingdom Hearts fanfic that I turned in during a creative writing class I think. The main character was the child of my (at the time) self-insert and Saix.

AI. Do any of your characters have unusual hobbies?

Not that I can think of?

AU. Your characters are transported to an AU of your choice. Only one character is aware they are in an AU and must find the other characters. Who is the easiest to find? Who is hardest? Do they try to convince the others they are in an AU or do they just roll with it?

Ok, so I'm just gonna pull from the entirety of my brain space and include my D&D characters since I mostly write a LOT of fanfic, and therefore a not-insignificant amount of characters are not my own. So for the AU in question, I'm gonna have to go with the coffee shop AU. It's common but so good and I love the low-stakes environment to really explore different facets of characters you may never get to see in their normal environments. The character that knows they're in an AU would probably be Dina, my tiefling rouge/paladin from a 2-year long Tal'Dorei/Critical Role campaign I was in. She was wicked smart her insight was spot on nine times outta ten. The easiest to find would probably be Nikoleta who is a Harry Potter oc I made a few years back. Nikoleta kinda thrives on caffeine so not hard to find her in a coffee shop AU. Hardest to find would probably be Lem, a minotaur beastmaster ranger from an Ebberon campaign I was in for a bit. She preferred to wander a lot and actually left the party for a long while to help her tribe (mostly as an out because she didn't really end up fitting the setting). I don't think Dina would try to convince anyone they're in an AU as long as it was a case of "Everything is actually fine in your original universes and you still have all of the people you care about here in the AU with you." Dina alone watched one of her friends almost become the sacrifice for a hag's ritual and saw another friend killed and then possessed by an evil spirit, and spent the better part of five years thinking her sister was dead. She 100% deserves the break a coffee shop AU would provide!

Okay so like this idea has been stuck in my head for like the longest time

So this post is mostly just world building more then anything about my OC

So let's start with this: I basically merged the PJO universe with the BNHA one (also have no read the manga, but I am caught up on the anime so, and I'm also taking some creative liberties cause no one can stop me)

So okay All for One was basically at the height of his power

And like of course the Greek gods don't like that at all so they're paying extra close attention to him

After all he's assuming power rather quickly and well that has always made the gods feel a little nervous

And so the gods hatch a plan

I don't know how but one thing leads to another and they basically make a quirk

They, somehow, manage to mix in a little of Hermes and Zeus' power and transfers it to All for One's brother

And from there the story goes as almost normal, with a few key changes

Because the quirk is given willingly the gods, or at least one of them, came to the brother and he accepted the quirk

So the holder of One for All, the godmade quirk, can see through the mist, actually knows about the Greek gods and that whole world, and know about their children

When it was first transferred the brother told him how the quirk originated and the truth that comes with it

But overtime the tale of the gods being the original holders of One for All has faded into nothing more that a tall tale

So by the time that it get's to Deku came around and got the quirk All Might didn't see a need to tell him about it

So Deku doesn't know anything about the gods, being able to see through the Mist, or about demigods

At first he doesn't notice anything too odd, after all this world is filled with weird quirks, well at least he didn't notice until Nikoleta that it

28. Your most dangerous OC?

Hard to say. Most of them could kick the average person’s ass from here to next week. Individually (Like One on one) if he wasn’t such a pacifist, maybe Nathan. He’s got discipline and medical training to do some serious damage and still leave someone alive and suffering. Also got a pretty good handle on his frog devil fruit. With the versatility of changing his size pretty quickly.As far as dangerous to a mass of people. I’d say Nikoleta. Her devil fruit gives her the ability to become and control hot ash and cinders. In an earlier iteration of the character I had from my forum days. The guy would use a tactic of raining down volcanic ash onto a ship and weighing it down to the point of either immobility or sinking. A dry layer of volcanic ash 4 inches thick can weigh anywhere from 120 - 200 lbs per square yard, and twice that when wet. Not to mention the internal damage of inhaling the stuff, especially when it’s hot. As volcanic ash is just micro flakes of earth. But that’s not mentioning Nikoleta’s extensive combat training from her youth. She’s pretty formidable all around.
