Anyway, I watched the rwrb movie

... I once again realized why I like books more than movies

Also, I promised myself that I'm not gonna complain about it no matter what I think, but as someone who loves the book dearly, I still feel like venting a little 😅 (no one's going to read this anyway, no way I'm tagging this lol)

Anyway, I feel like someone personally asked me about what my favorite parts of the book were and they removed ALL OF THEM (okay, not all, but like 90%). Insane.

Also, they toned it down so much? It wasn't half as unhinged and dramatic, and they removed a lot of the tension and weight? ...why? I mean, I understand they needed to cut a lot of things for screentime (it's a very fast-paced book where a lot of things happen) Honestly, it might've worked better as a series, but well.

I don't say it was bad, it was good as a rom(com?), probably would've enjoyed it a lot more if I didn't know the book (and maybe if I was 10 years younger lol)

Amity was... Odd

It always was even before the Fenton Portal, just more subtle, cold spots, newer electronics not working properly, older picking up things that weren't always there, things at the periphery that you can't see when you turn, shadows too dark, lights too dim.

Lake Eerie was named that for a reason. they knew to never swim alone, or at night without lights.

Then the portal happened and those who didn't adapt left. then the invasion and they thought they are going to just go back to new normal and...

The town refused to leave. Not the people the town itself, turned out Amity had a city spirit and she liked it in the Zone so they adapted, 'parkers always adapted if they didn't they left, this side of the veil or the other.

They managed to coax Amity to return and continued living, a little to the left, teeth a little too sharp, eyes a little too intense, hearing a little too good, but they adapted. They found out more ghost culture in the zone, some learned to fight, some decided not to. They weren't bothered by property damage anymore, the buildings would pull themselves back together and they would help.

Amity was always Odd it just wasn't subtle anymore.

You can only get the Dead End in Day 4 by staying at Ren's apartment — the rest of your choices before that don't matter. I'd also pay closer attention to the black smoke and Ren's reaction towards it!

Ren disappears from the home screen because he promised to help the player out (and stop them from getting the Dead End again). Try replaying the game again from the beginning for a surprise!

"Unsent Memories" was another visual novel (initially being written by @10chimes / @unsentmemory, though the project has since been dropped and handed back to me /pos) and is set in the same universe as 14 Days With You. Its storyline and characters are completely separate from 14DWY, so you don't have to worry about them while playing 14DWY.

hi i'm mihai and i'm going to need some help coveting rent this month. most of my recent paycheck went towards paying bills, groceries, and putting gas in my car and the rest of it is going towards an oil change i can no longer put off. on top of that, due to my coworker not doing his job, my hours (as well as his) are going to be cut for the next few weeks. i'm hoping to be able to find a second job in the meantime but right now i need some help making sure i'm able to pay rent this month!

right now i'm going to set my goal for $300 to give myself a little buffer room next paycheck to be able to get cat food and cat litter. anything helps, ty!
