Okey I’ll talk abt it for a little <3 Ganondorf’s gender and his felling towards it is very complicated. It does fall into spoiler territory so there will be parts where i’ll leave it vague or out of context, but I’ll know 😳. Ganondorf was frowned upon him coming out as a man, in Gerudo culture there is the legend of the Gerudo King. And how he has brought down his people with him in his time as a ruler. And obviously OUR Ganondorf here being the Son of Urbosa and a man with authority ie being THE Gerudo Captain. People worried that he might do the same thing if he ever becomes Chief of Gerudo Town. In a way the Gerudo pushed him to the side, no matter how talented and skilled he was with the blade. They wanted him nowhere near the throne.

That is also cause Urbosa pushed him to the side and gave the spotlight to Nabooru. She loves him, but prioritized what her people had to say and what the legend of the Gerudo King foretold. Ganondorf has SO MUCH complicated feelings towards his mom and sister. He doesn’t resent them, but it hurts him that they were not there for him. And the lightning/thundee dragon….. :)

Moving on, when Ganondorf stayed in the woods to raise Sheik. His gender was never put into question at all, maybe once just to be sure (Navi was probably the one who asked tbh). This made Ganondorf be more comfortable with his own skin and was also around the time his body started to change drastically for the better. That is due to the forest gifting him magic as a thank you (magical forest T). The way gender works in the Korok Woods is drastically different from other places. Koroks, Minish, and Fairies are genderless but many use pronouns other than they/them. As Sheik was growing older he became curious of his own gender and saw what the children of the forest identified as. Ganondorf, being the only human aside from Sheik, was asked a lot of questions by her. And Ganondorf spoke of his experience with gender to Sheik. This lead for Sheik to find herself and see what pronouns are and aren’t comfortable for him. Being Sheik doesn’t identify with any of the genders but likes being referred to by masculine and feminine, androgynous pronouns are a nono for Sheik.

OoT is like. THEE most video game ever, like yes. Despite it's flaws, I think it just hits the marking on everything. And I mean like everything everything. Like characters, story, dungeons, bosses, MUSIC. Like I get why many people to this day still consider it the best zelda game or just best game in general. Like no wonder tloz fans from the 2000s were insane for that game they wanted more of it!!

Update!!

Hello everyone! Finals are coming up, and it's making it difficult for me to begin the Linework progress of Chapter 3. While I already made my monthly update for this month, there might not be much progress by December in my Kofi.
