Hey guys, remember in Ep.8 when Iris said something like: “We have this little group of oddballs in a Tavern that we all link up at together…”

So, are we all in agreement that these two—

—are probably part of that group of oddballs that Iris and Patches know? :)

I mean, it’s not everyday you see someone with purple horns on their head (very cool horns might I add), nor see somebody associate with them.

I look forward to finding out these guys’ names when we see them again :3

Hello ar fans, how are we doing? Waiting patiently to go feral over ep.11, I assume? (me too)

ANYWAYS, chat, I’m here to pitch an idea that came to me. I need to make a post talking about it or I’ll go insane. /pos

(rambling commences under the cut so this post doesn’t take too much space !! <3)

OKAY SO—

Mark inevitably finding out about Petro’s motives and his plan, but instead of being betrayed and upset? He joins him. They become partners in crime <3

Do I think this will happen? No, not at all. Mark’s character is far too kind; plus, taking part in a plan that would probably cause mass destruction and hundreds of casualties would go against the fact he signed up to be a guard (somebody who protects others and fights to prevent tragedies like that).

However, the idea of Mark doing a 180 from this sweet, naive character, to having a villain arc solely to continue being Petro’s “friend” is one that heavily interests me.

All of his thoughtfulness for others is zapped away, the only person he cares for being Petro. The only person he protects being Petro; he is his personal guard after all :)

[ It’s up to you whether this hypothetical-scenario Mark joined Petro willingly, or if there was some convincing and or manipulating involved. Or maybe straight-up mind control. Who knows. ]

I’m not sure where this idea came from originally, but it probably stemmed from me thinking about their dynamic in canon. For Mark and Petro to continue having any kind of relationship in the future (despite how one-sided it seems to be), one of them would need to drastically change.

ie: Petro having a redemption arc and changing his evil ways, or alternatively, Mark having a villain arc and changing his good ways.

It’s just, the idea of Mark being so devoted to having Petro as his friend (or dare I say, boyfriend) that he slowly loses his morals and becomes just as bad as Petro purely to stay on his good side… it would end horribly. And I love it.

THIS IS SO REAL, ACTUALLY‼️‼️🗣️🗣️

As an autistic person myself, I can confirm, Prof. Red is autistic!! He probably struggles a lot with tone/when things are appropriate to say vs not appropriate to say. It doesn’t help that he’s not used to having people around him, lmao. He also probably struggles with low empathy!! Generally, I think he’s one of those “I care, but I don’t know how to show it, so I’m going to pretend I don’t care” kinda guys.

I also think his stimming would be a lot more on the subtle side, y’know? Things that can pass as regular habits; like tapping a pencil on a surface, or clicking a pen repeatedly. He definitely has more noticeable ones of course, but I do feel like they’d be ‘rarer’.

CONTINUING THE AUTISM TALK‼️

Rainbow on the other hand? Bro is so audhd (adhd + autism) coded it’s unreal. Like, I’m telling you, this man has both and absolutely nobody will convince me otherwise. I know damn well he struggles with too much empathy!! He also has a tendency to be easily manipulated (he’s not stupid, just easily trusting and quick to see the good in people). In SSO especially, he can be easily excitable. Probably has spells of being hyperactive, and can get distracted as easily as he can get hyperfocused.

Stimming wise, probably more on the noticeable side, but that’s okay!! I feel like he’d constantly be rocking his body when sitting down, because he finds it therapeutic. He would also probably flap his hands a lot if he’s excited about something.

I’d go on about how Yellow is adhd coded, and how Purple and Blue probably have autism too, but the post would be too long, lmao.

CONCLUSION: MOST SSO CHARACTERS ARE NEURODIVERGENT CODED, IF YOU REALLY SQUINT‼️ (Source: trust me, bro /j)

Been thinking about him a lot lately and honestly prof red is actually the definition of autistic in SSO

he’s the only smart red Steve for some reason? I feel like the whole “red steves are idiots” plot was stupid but it happened anyway and makes prof kinda odd. He’s like literally the odd one out. So ostracized I bet. I feel ya there buddy.

Also his VIBE is just immaculate. Lives in a house in the woods where nobody can find him so he can be alone forever. Hyperfixates on mushrooms. Makes potions. Studies an interdimensional crystal. Probably tone deaf. Has friends apparently??? How did those get there?????????. He’s me guys he’s me‼️‼️
