Astral Projection: An Attempt was made.

Now, I meant to type this out far earlier in the day (in fact, I waited so long that it is now the wee hours of the morning on the NEXT day) but I was incredibly unaware of the passage of time and slept in much later than originally intended. I woke up at 3pm today - typically I wake up at 10 and stay in bed until 2 or I wake up around noon. I am a college student on break, and my sleep schedule is horrible.

Last night, I decided to do something that I haven't tried since 2020. Astral Projection. I have had a love-hate relationship with the concept, and it's something I'm starting to re-explore and dip my toes into.

This relationship stems from the fact that I am autistic and cannot logically understand how astral projection is logically possible. The idea that an individual can simply leave their body and enter another plane of existence that I do believe exists has never been something I could wrap my head around. And so I decided to revisit it and try it again last night.

I put on a guided meditation and relaxed in my bed. And I did the whole shebang. I cast a circle around myself, visualized a light coming from my core, and a tether between myself and my astral self, I suppose. I did everything that I assume is right, but of course, there is always room for error. I even slept with a small pouch of crystals underneath my pillow in hopes that they would help.

I did not project. I did not even dream, to my knowledge. I urged Apollo before I tried to, at the very least, give me some form of prophetic dream or vision. This too did not happen, but this is not the point.

I don't understand astral projection. I don't know what about it is so difficult for me to understand. I tried tirelessly to astral project back in 2020 with minimal results. So I moved from astral projection to strengthening my clair-senses.

So if anyone has any good, reliable resources on astral projection and any personal anecdotes, I am beyond willing to hear them. Or, if not that, then how do you understand astral projection? I'm really trying to logically digest this in a way that makes sense. Blessed be, and may the Sun be your guide! A domani!

Listen. I've been a practicing witch for like 3 years and I've read a lot of books on magic and witchcraft and shit.

Today, I had to DNF a book I had on my wish list for over a year. It was about cats and witchcraft and I wanted to read it because I have a cat, love cats, and I'm a witch. I finally get the ebook from the library and...

I made it 15% through before I quit. The author started explaining how cats got a bad rep and how it relates back to mythology... And what I read was like really bad fanfiction. Like, Lucifer was apparently in Greek mythology??? And Diana (and, yes, they specifically stated "Diana from Greek mythology") turned into Lucifer's cat in order to seduce him and ?????

This and the fact that my guides made sure I knew at my oracle reading that I didn't have to see everything through completion made me turn in that book early.

Thank the gods I have another book about cats and witchcraft that's better written because that book made me sad.
