I was actually so sad when Ice Adolescence was canceled. You don’t even know. Back in the days where I had just realized I was queer, 11-12, I watched Yuri on Ice. And I rewatched it. I watched it when I got home from ice skating practice. It was something I loved so deeply. And then there was the movie I was waiting on, for years. AND THEN THEY CANCELED THE MOVIE.

I keep thinking about how cute Louis is in the TRGB episode with his nephew, and how the two of us would probably babysit for him SO often, to the point where he starts to see us more as parental figures than his own parents since they hardly pay any attention to him. but I'm ALSO thinking about how Lawrence probably wouldn't like me at first and would lash out when Louis starts seeing me, bc he's so used to people not paying attention to him and he thinks I'm gonna steal all of Louis' time and attention away 😭😭😭

If reader can't skate, you wont have to worry abt falling!! He'll catch you everytime without fail <3 I can imagine him going 'How are you struggling?? It's easy look' and then holding the reader explaining how to move😭😭♥️ If anyone bumps into you he for sure will curse them out to watch where they're going

(He would accidentally melt the ice at some point so everyone has to evacuate lmao)

I think the biggest issue is that Rocky CAN be rewarded so much in this scoring system and not necessarily that it is being rewarded so much. Frankly Lilah and Lewis are working the system well. And they seem to work hard. So as much as I dislike the program and think there are better skaters out there, I’ll give them credit for their ability to succeed.

That said, how can we petition the ISU to bring back compulsory skating or short dances with required patterns in FULL? Seriously. Can I leave a comment somewhere? Write an essay? If Lilah and Lewis got rewarded under that system undeservedly, then I’d be up in arms. For now I’m frustrated but grudgingly and sadly accepting that this is where we are with the rules of the sport.

I'm with you to a certain degree. They shouldn't be getting such high levels in the step sequences, their goe's are insane, and their pcs is a joke, especially for skating skills, and composition. Even under these rules, they should be nowhere near the top.

I really don't know where to go, so far screaming blindly into the night about hasn't helped, so maybe tweeting at them will do something? Who knows.
