When I say I want public transport, I want trains at high speeds that could move people out of hurricane areas before it starts.

When I say I want public transport, I want buses that ferry people safely after an earthquake, or bring in help so people can be saved

When I say I want public transport, I want to visit the next town for a day, because the mall there has shops I like.

When I say I want public transport, I want to see family across the US before they die, so we can enjoy the time we have. Instead of costing me $2400 just to see them for a second.

When I say I want public transport, I want everyone in the US to pay $40 a month for a bus pass, and save money on the waste we call gas and insurance.

When I say I want public transport, I want us to revamp our transport system so there are no more oil spills in Ohio, no more teenage car crashes, no more emissions reduction because we barely have cars anymore.

When I say I want public transport, I want walkable cities that feel safe, so we can all do daily activities in a meaningful way.

When I say I want public transport, I want to take the land we save with all this rework, and build more community centers support services, farms, housing, and greenery in the US. I want cities to not feel like concrete jungles, or homes to be lost in the escapades of capitalism.

When I say I want public transport, I want it for us.

was talking with a friend about how some of dunmeshi fаndom misunderstands kabru's initial feelings towards laios.

to sum up kabru's situation via a self-contained modernized metaphor:

kabru is like a guy who lost his entire family in a highly traumatic car accident. years later he joins a discord server and takes note of laios, another server member who seems interesting, so they start chatting. then laios reveals his special interest and favorite movie of all time is David Cronenberg's Crash (1996), and invites kabru to go watch a demolition derby with him
