A Venti HC: When he’s not Sleepy 🥱
I’m not gonna lie…like, I love Venti and all, but I feel like he’s the kinda bubba to watch you sleep. It’s a very archon bubba thing. Aren’t they so cute?
Tumblr media
It’s endearing, really, even if it’s a bit eerie. Prolly puts his mind at ease knowing you’re comfy enough to sleep right at his side, and he’s just basking in that feeling…and then…soon enough…it’s been two hours…and he’s just…still kinda watching you…
Especially when he’s not in his “deep sleeper” era. Venti def has changing sleeping patterns lolsies we love him for that😻🤍
If it gets to be too much, simply give him a lil kiss and put his hat over his eyes. He will take the hint…Remember, communication is key!
I’d pay for him to be my sleep paralysis demon tbh

Ok I’m having a slight mental breakdown about the sun the last couple days (idk what’s happening but every time the sun touches me I get these horrible intrusive thoughts like “I’m not wearing sunscreen, my skin is going to peel off my body, I’m going to get melanoma and die of sun cancer”) so to reassure myself and spread awareness here are the signs of melanoma and when to get it checked by a doctor:

I think the most fucked up thing about intrusive thoughts is it's really difficult to discuss them without discussing their content, because without a discussion of their content it's impossible to get across just how distressing and debilitating they are. "Oh, you have unpleasant thoughts sometimes? Yeah we all have that, I guess."
But if you discuss their content there's this huge risk of people just pulling away in disgust. "Oh god, you have THOSE sorts of thoughts? They should lock freaks like you the fuck up!" As if they think people act on every single thought they have.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but intrusive thoughts are basically your brain’s (sometimes very upsetting) way of saying “If there were two guys on the moon and one of them killed the other with a rock would that be fucked up or what?”
I’ve personally found that adding the “would that be fucked or what?” part in myself really helps put the more disturbing thoughts we sometimes get into perspective. Helps me say “yeah thar sure would be fucked up” and move on with my day.
It’s not a secret desire, it’s not something that only occurs to you because you’re a bad person. It’s just your brain deciding to process the fact that it knows an uncomfortable thing exists in the world by feeding it to you in an absurd “what if” with you as the main character.

Teaching children thinking bad thoughts about someone is the same thing as murdering that person is fucked up.
Thought crime doesn’t exist. No one has ever been harmed or killed by someone thinking negative thoughts about them.
You know what has harmed people though? Teaching them they are evil for things they can’t control. Especially those who have intrusive thoughts.
Here’s for everyone who has been taught their thoughts make them evil.
Intrusive thoughts are not your secret desires.
They are involuntary.
You don’t need to be ashamed of them.
They will pass.
You are not committing taboo.
No one can read your mind.
No one will ever know what’s in your thoughts unless you feel like telling them.
No one can judge you for what you are thinking, whether voluntarily or involuntarily.
Your thoughts are private
You are not a bad person.

it's always "i don't judge !!" until a person is a therian or just nonhuman in general, their religion is something they don't agree with or don't see as a "real or valid" religion [like satanism or autotheism], they identify with xenogenders and use "weird" pronouns, they have a "cringy" style like emo, scene, goth, or harajuku fashion, they're disabled, they act childish and age regresses, they have extreme intrusive thoughts, they have "odd" interests, they don't have proper hygiene because of poor mental health, their identity "doesn't make any sense", they're "too fat" or "too skinny", or they're just "not attractive". stop cherry picking, you can't claim "you don't judge" when you can't accept these people. be better. /srs

Sharing this here too

I do not usually make posts like this but recently I have seen a lot of content on Instagram, Twitter and I think tiktok too misunderstanding the meaning of intrusive thoughts, which may cause people experiencing them to be upset.
I have tried to shortly explain the difference of impulsive and intrusive and hope it will help people to understand and use the words correctly.
Reblogs are very much appreciated!

not naming any names but like 80% of this website does not understand how ocd works and i feel like that's because a lot of you guys have yet to properly comprehend that thinking about something and liking or condoning that thing are not the same thing at all. in the slightest.
