Punk pop trio from Hayes. Live they seriously pack a punch and are noted for their impassioned songs about sexism, feminism and everyday life-isms. The Selecter’s Pauline Black describes The Tuts sound best: ‘infectious guitar led pop wrapped around fiery drums, sharp tongues and splendid harmonies’.

Today marks 2 years since we were invited to appear LIVE ON BBC NEWS to discuss Apple music, Taylor Swift and corporations. The presenter didn't know what she was in for until we suddenly hijacked the interview topic to share our thoughts on taxing dodging, tory cuts and Boris Johnson! In 2015 Apple music were refusing to pay royalties to artists for the first 3 months of streaming and Taylor Swift stood up against this. It’s important to note how not much has really changed for DIY artists in the music industry. We still have to maintain day jobs as well as be in the band full time. As we know, the tories love to cut funding for the arts; and big corporations try and squeeze every penny out of artists where they can. Not long ago, we applied for a measly £1,000 art fund from our local council (Tory run Hillingdon) and were of course not successful. PS. We still and always will hate Boris Johnson (stay out of our Library) @bbc @bbcnews @bbcasiannetwork @tinadaheley @bobbyfricton #bbc #bbcnews #toriesout #borisjohnson

We wanted to express our condolences to the victims of the Grenfell Tower. Once again it’s the poor working class that suffer in the hands of the rich. Today we will be DONATING ALL PROFITS of our ‘people power knock down tory towers’ TOTEBAGS to the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. Tory towers must be held accountable. This tragedy represents the ugly failures of austerity and neo-liberalism capitalism. one more example of how the Tory government has failed to protect poor working class people….It is manslaughter by negligence. Fingers need to be pointed and someone needs to go to prison for this. As we all know the people of Grenfell were complaining about the fire safety risk and were ignored. Instead, they covered the building in cladding to appease the rich so they didn’t have to look at an ugly building - another example of gentrification. Unless there is systemic change these things will continue to happen. Why the fuck are there luxury apartments being built across London when poor working class people are living in a fire trap? This would not have happened to rich people - only the marginalised, the disenfranchised whose complaints are threatened with legal action, or ignored. The social clubs were the first to have their funding cut yet they have opened their doors to the victims and offered them temporary accommodation. It’s ordinary people and communities that are affected by Tory cuts yet they are the ones left to pick up the pieces. Local mosques and churches are providing food, water, clothing and bedding in this humanitarian crisis - in a super-rich borough of empty properties owned by absent millionaires. Grab a bag a bag for £8 - shipping worldwide. Head to our BANDCAMP PAGE. Link in BIO. PS. - FREE download of 'GIVE US SOMETHING WORTH VOTING FOR' with every purchase. #grenfelltower #peoplepower

TOUR IS OVER!!! Thank you Manchester for ending our tour on such a high! It's been an incredible experience seeing how passionate you all are about wanting to see a change in politics and our current tory government. Although we had an amazing show, we got off the stage to find out about the London attack, which deflated/overwhelmed us with such a mix of emotions. We won't let this divide us! Tonight we play London DIY space for a brown punk festival. We love you all ❤️ #unity #peoplepower #solidarity pic by @poppymarriott__

Last night we took our 'SOMETHING WORTH VOTING FOR TOUR' to Brighton and played a sweaty intimate gig at The Green Door Store. There were anti-tory chants, people power placards and everything was bliss until we got kicked off the stage and we weren't allowed to return for our encore - FEAR NOT...we took the gig outside and finished the show acoustically to an intimate circle of fans. NEXT STOP LONDON, THE VICTORIA DALSTON! IT'S SOLD OUT!!! See you there x
