What I love most about Gandalf big naturals is how much it eases my chest dysphoria. I can sleep without a shirt on now because of Gandalf Big Naturals. Knowing that the artist made the original image while recovering from top surgery and said the image was like a final parting gift from their boobs makes me feel even better about the image's effect on me. Men with big naturals makes me feel much more good about my body than those old posts on here that were like "trans men! Some men have pecs!!! So don't feel dysphoric <3". It's much more meaningful to see a hairy, bearded man with a huge H cup rack not letting his tits get in the way of his masculinity.
Most of all, Gandalf Big Naturals helped me love my body the way it is instead of hating something that's a part of me. Of course I still want top surgery but the fact that I can live with my own big naturals until then without wanting to guillotine them off is really important.
#losers lament#gandalf big naturals#I queued a drawing of Gandalf big naturals where he has a hairy chest and that one's my favorite#since I started t I've been growing chest hair and I really like how my cleavage looks with the hair#so when I saw that picture i knew that I would be able to keep the love for hairy big naturals#instead of losing them forever when my own hairy big naturals get removed#and it's like I'm giving them to him#I love the way gender expression has progressed on this webbed sight

⊹ㅤattractive things they do | savanaclaw
parts. heartslabyul, savanaclaw, octavinelle, scarabia, pomefiore, ignihyde, diasomnia
characters. leona, ruggie, jack
note. this is actually a hallucination, if I posted twice in a week, consecutively. this isn't true
assertive to an extent (which is a lot in his case.) leona has a knack for pulling you over by your arm, a case is when some fearless students decides it was a good time to insult you right in his face and he raises a brow, then pulls you behind him? just quietly stares down the person cause he's not gonna exert more effort than that unless they got some sort of nerve of steel. he tends to take charge, a bad habit you suppose. what he wants is what he gets apparently.
if you catch his eye he always grins at you. maybe a smile would've been endearing but it's ruggie, his trademark grin is practically the smile of someone like him. across the cafeteria when you're on your way to a table? you see ruggie and he waves at you with a little imp of a grin. just peacefully passing by the hallway on your way to your class? oh. there he is, getting chased by people again. he just passes by and even spades you another grin, multitude of yells following behind him. 'meet me later' is shouted by him after.
jack hugs like a bear. he looks like he gives the warmest hugs, the one where you'll just be engulfed in his ginormous flesh of his arms and turn into putty. if you ever catch yourself in one, well. you'll be wishing you had a fluffy bed and a pair of equally fluffy pillows alongside in it. it's easy to fluster him whether you like it or not by bounding up to the guy, raising his arms to go around your body and melt. cause he will notice and forget he can't control the emotions of his tail.

> them: our community is trans inclusive
> me: is it actually trans inclusive or is it just adhering to the gender binary but with trans people forced into the same ridged expectations and assumed positions of power or vulnerablility that cis people are?
> them: what do you mean
> me: *pulls out a chart explaining how gender essentialism is inherently harmful even if you count trans men and women as men and women because the very concepts of man and woman under this framework are so restrictive and reductive that they can not account for the diverse and complex intersectional experiences of trans men/women(or even marginalized cis people) and will also never be able to make a space safe for intersex, nonbinary, and multigender people*

RoP gave us a kiss that was full of emotion but entirely devoid of romantic subtext, and next episode we're going to get a sword fight so charged with romantic and sexual tension that people are going to actually lose their minds.
Adar is simultaneously praising the beauty of a woman (Melian) and a man (Elrond), while also simultaneously praising the beauty of a Maia and a half-elf. While also caring for his enormous family of uruk children. He is a person who literally changed his state of being from his birth-form in order to obtain the life, and children, he wanted.
Sauron's talking about some messed up masochistic relationship with Morgoth, and crying when Adar recalls how beautiful he used to be. He's doing all kinds of fascinating line-crossing when it comes to gender, like he's just decided to conjure up your worst evil non-binary nightmare as he flirts with Mirdania, minces around in his pretty dress and hair-bow, acts like a clique-y mean girl when Celebrimbor calls him out in front of the other smiths, and then slaughters guards with expert swordsmanship and sorcery.
Meanwhile Galadriel is effortlessly switching from armor to fairytale princess dresses, expressing unbridled rage and endless compassion, being maternal to Theo and a mentor to the Numenorean guard as she tutors them in swordplay, and generally projecting a female character who is, per Morfydd, not raised to feel ashamed the way women are in our society.
This is queer Tolkien. It's messing with our culturally encoded understandings of the signs and signals of relationships, gender, family, and friendships. It's messing with our understanding of how we define the potential of individuals and relationships.
Am I confident that they're doing all of this consciously? No.
But am I any less delighted by it?
Also no.
It is so fun and I love it.
#trop#trop meta#even as a haladriel enjoyer#the thing i enjoy is the transgressive nature of that relationship#try to put it into a cishet romantic box and i will cease to like it immediately#i also have so many more thoughts about gender wrt disa and miriel and even arondir too#are the writers doing this on purpose?#are the actors?#I would really like to know#annatar#gender#galadriel#elrond#adar#sauron

I read a thinkpiece that characterised not identifying by your assigned gender as being equivalent to refusing an inheritance, and I'm thinking shit, imagine if it actually worked that way. Some weird old relative you only ever see at Christmas dies under mysterious and implausible circumstances and leaves you their gender in the will.

every day you get reminded of how much of this website's politics seems to be "(progressively) being transgender is a white people thing."
#a trans woman from India cannot possibly identify as being a transgender woman#because that's an unfortunate westernization of her natural exotic and mysterious cultural third gender#and every trans woman is a white woman on 4chan bc that means you can derail a post about transmisogyny to say its just a white ppl problem#and 4b being radfems isn't important because there are no trans women in Korea who could possibly be put in danger because of it#tumblr hate posting#transmisogyny

Itty bitty reference of everyone bc i am Tired of colourpicking from the previous page (and bc everyone has some semblance of consistent design now XD )
I drew this between posting Moon 3 (part 2 and 3) so sorry for the lack of Small Boi, he will be added when i get time + when he has a name revealed!
Fun notes!
- Poppy's short tail and Dart's nub-butt are both caused by the manx gene, Dart just has a higher expression! (it's dominant so Pine doesn't have it at all)
- Burnet and Quiver have the exact same eye colour and very close skin tone
- Pine's mullet will get bigger as he grows but it's important to note even as a baby bc i think it's funni
- Poppy looks like a unit but is mostly fluff, Burnet is actually stocky
- age can be at least partially determined by how yellow someone's teeth are lmao
- Quiver's angry eyes started as a joke but stuck around bc it's fun to draw
- Pounce (and Lilac to an extent) is the only character with dark brown pads bc of a silly headcannon I have regarding fully white characters being polar adapted, most characters will continue to have pinkish red ones! (except new lil guy bc he has melanism)
- I like to imagine Burnet isn't piebald but actually has a somatic cell mutation similar to bloodmark horses. Why? idk, i think it's fun, and also genuine piebaldism comes with health issues
- everyone has different ear tufts bc i think that's cute cx
- Lilac is tall
has ANYONE noticed the sclera thing yet? No? ok

The forest floor was soft. The morning air and dew cool against your knees, the palms of your hands were laid flat on the ground. The scrolls you’d brought per Master Halsin’s instructions were discarded elsewhere, as was the bottom half of your Druid attire.
Master Halsin had always been so generous, even now as he was barely held together, resisting the urge to push your head to the ground and fuck you until Sylvanuus could hear it. Such moments were reserved for study periods, when you needed to learn focus.
You’re brought back to the present as your hands slip along the grass and your head falls, Master Halsin chuckles softly, keeping a hold of your hips. He slows his thrusts, cock still nestled comfortably inside you, “Are you alright, sprout?” He chuckles.
You groan softly, clutching the grass beneath you, “Y—yes Master Halsin,” you replied.
Master Halsin leans closer, his body over yours, he places a hand over one of yours and squeezes it gently, “Good, wouldn’t want you to lose focus during your reward.”
#halsin x male reader#halsin x reader#you gotta commune with nature sometimes 🌚#archdruid halsin who has a favorite student druid he dotes on and is super invested in a totally normal way#halsin x gender neutral reader#somewhere out there a book of ethics is being written to smack me on the head with however Halsin is a snack and I am starving 🤤

Y'all wanna know about a gender-non-conforming knight from 13th century France? No? That's okay- I'm fine with talking to myself.
I'm obsessed with gender performativity in early medieval texts- so obviously I had to know everything about Le Roman De Silence.
To preface-
So, long before there was the Marvel Cinematic Universe- there was the interconnected works of the Arthurian Legends. The original superheroes- King Arthur, Merlin, Morganna le Fey, and the rest of the cast. However, one of the lesser known (only arguably canonical) interconnected texts of the Arthurian legend hails from France. People argue over whether or not to include these texts as part of the cannon of King Arthur because it's technically french- and the french-english divide between characterization of all the main players of Arthur's court is remarkably different. Much research on this suggests the discrepancy of characterization is largely due to distance between where the stories originate, and sociopolitical tensions between the French and the English. Either people were too far apart to share stories- thus too far apart to keep characterization uniform, or they fucking hated each other enough to mess up the characterization on purpose. For example, many of the French portrayals of King Arthur paint him to be a rather terrible person, where English portrayals are generally more kind to him.
All that aside- many people will disagree that Le Roman de Silence should even be part of the Arthurian legend canon anyway- because it only mentions Merlin at the end of the poem and because it's a super french poem.
The main storyline is about this character named Silence. From the Old French Poem- Le Roman de Silence.
Gender? No- Never heard of it.
The latter half of the story in this poem is predicated on a complex mediation of Nature vs Nurture. What happens is that a baby is born into a wealthy family, and for sociopolitical reasons, the family decides to raise the girl baby as a boy. They name this child "silence." Silence grows up with full access to an education, as was typical for the boy children of aristocratic medieval families- this education becomes important later as Silence wrestle with where they fit into the larger social structure after maturing into adulthood. Essentially, they find the idea of marriage too boring and would like to be a Knight or Explorer instead. (I love them.) Anyway, it's fascinating to me that the conceptual ideas of nature and nurture are personified into being something like "deities" which are overseeing the growth of Silence through the ages- and so we get these deities commentary.
Silence wants to be a knight- so Nurture brags about being right that gender is more performative than it is biological. Then, later Silence grows up to be remarkably "pretty" and according to the deity of Nature- they brag about being right that biology and gender are intrinsically tied. It's such a thought-provoking mediation on gender as either performance or pure biology that I forget it was written in the 13th century- long before Freud or Lacan or any of the others who became hyper fixated on human presumption of gender as either a social category or a biological necessity.
I argued in a paper, once, that the narrative itself does actually finally end on the note that Gender is a performance, and it is tied into social roles only so the ruling class can have control of the population. That is why the stories ending shifts into horror-genre-esque of Silence marrying into the upper-ruling class.
I also have a strong urge to write a Fanfiction of Silence as a knight- who does not meet a sad fate but rather lives happily as a knight and eventually marries a princess. Okay- Okay? fine I said it. I said it-
Social pressure to marry?
The story takes a dark turn, however- when the King demands Silence to reveal themselves in front of the court. Obviously, even the author of the story was aware that misogynistic social standards would not allow for people to ever really be free of gender stereotypes and roles. So, Silence is then forced out of the adventurous lifestyle of a knight and into a marriage. Also, this is the place in the story where Merlin makes an appearance (I have a theory that Merlin is representative of the devil, and the author really hated that all AFAB people were forced into marriage back in 1200's. So that's why the devil shows up when all the bad shit is happening to Silence).
Inevitability and dismay-
What I find particularly interesting about this poem is the fact that the end, as Silence is forced into marriage and back into "proper" social roles for their assumed biological characteristics, is the fact that it is written like an early attempt at gothic horror!
So, one of the stipulations for something being a "gothic horror" is 1.) old, archaic, twisted buildings. (this blog is indeed named after my fixation with gothic horror elements, it's interplay relation to social reform, as its emphasis on decay as the tonal necessity for social indemnification). Anyway, the other most important aspect of gothic horror- is an overwhelming sense of desolation, isolation, and loneliness.
Sure, Silence is forced into marriage- but even with the forthright writing style of the author, we, as readers, are struck by Silence's loneliness. Thus, the "happily ever after" part of the storyline wherein the characters get married, as it traditional to chivalric romance, is recriminated against in subtext. Now, we have a moment in which the "happily ever after" is a creation of horror rather than peace.
Ending the narrative with marriage as equivalent to a loss of freedom and a sense of evermore-present loneliness, cumulating in the edifice of horror-struck fear in Silence at their own new future, is a remarkably bold social statement coming from a 13th century author.
I just think it's a really interesting text on the thematic points of negotiating Gender identity, in broader terms of performance and social roles, as much as it is a critique on the total social control that the monarchy held over the people of 13th century France.
Edit: I need to add that Silence themselves consistently rejects the idea that they are AFAB and instead only ever refers to themselves as "Silence" or "the knight"

Because I've been thinking about the fandom tendency to paint characters of color as conservative versus their white counterparts, who are usually valorized as progressives, I'm thinking about the way fandom often talks about Kabru (calling him a cop, saying he's Lawful Good/Evil, saying he'd be an econ or business major or tech bro in AUs, I heard through the grapevine they're calling him classist on tiktok) and absolutely refusing to see his actions- of repeatedly sabotaging an imperial force's military operations for the good of oppressed peoples- as radical.
Kabru was raised by a poor single mother in an economically disenfranchised region, then rejected a life of luxury in the imperial sphere. He explicitly aligns himself with the exploited population (short-lived races) he is a part of. He wouldn't be a fucking investment banker, in any AU he's the most likely character to be an activist. I can't scroll for three posts without seeing Chilchuck hailed as a girldad working class hero (and I'm not saying that's not deserved!) but there is barely any thought given to what it means for the brown guy to care so much about fighting against the takeover of a first-world power.
#dungeonposting#Toshiro also gets this as I've mentioned. he's not a misogynist you weirdos are just racist#Toshiro WOULD be a business major or something like it but only because his dad made him!#inside he would want to study arts or natural sciences!#thinking about how no one in the fandom holds Laios being a solider against him (rightly!)#but if Kabru had also joined the army and then quit- come on just think about what the fan perception would be#see also: the absolute uproar that calling Marcille 'a little conservative about gender' caused#even though it's just true!
