Anyways, you are always there to help our precious boys fill their bellies

You are in charge of snacks for games and practice, often finding joy in everything you do

So when the prelims for the road to spring nationals start, you are busy whipping up some goodies

You bake the entire weekend before, preparing for every possible scenario

Protein muffins for in between matches

Chocolate chip cookies for after they win matches

You even prepare some of your famous Strawberry shortcake cookies just incase the boys happen to lose

Not that we think they will, don’t get me wrong but it’s always nice to be prepared

Anyways, the prelims start and Karasuno dominates

Like, did we really thinking they wouldn’t 💅

Anyways, tensions run high as the boys go into their match with Seijoh

You remember the first time they fought against Seijoh and how the loss crushed them

But fueled up on your high-protein muffins, these boys are ready to kick butt!

And kick butt they do!

They beat Seijoh and prepare to meet Shiratorizawa in the finals

After the game, you notice how upset Seijoh is after their loss

You knew this was the third years last tournament and seeing them cry hurt

You thought about if it was your boys

And with that, there was only one thing left to do

So you pulled out a piece of paper and wrote a little note and stuck it in the box of cookies

As your team was preparing to leave, you grabbed your box of Strawberry Shortcake cookies and ran over to Seijoh

Karasuno rn 👉🏻👀

“Excuse me?” You said as the entire Seijoh team turned around and looked at you

“You guys played an excellent game and you deserve these,” you said handing Seijoh your expertly wrapped cookies

Oikawa accepted, saying nothing

Please you left him speechless

Too bad Kunimi’s too sad to even record this moment 😭

You smile and wave as you run back to your team

Meanwhile, back the gym the Seijoh boys are extremely sad

“Hey what did that manager from Karasuno give you Oikawa?” Kindaichi asked as Oikawa reached for the box

He reached for it, opening it as the note slipped out

Iwa picked the note up and began reading it

It read “Thank you for playing your hardest! You deserve these. Xoxo YN, Karasuno’s Manager”

“It’s cookies,” Oikawa said as he began to pass them around and Iwa showed Oiks the note

The next few days go by

You are in the gym taking notes when a teacher comes to get you

“Excuse me?”

“Yes,” Takeda asks

“Umm there is a team of boys at the front gate here to see Yn,” the teacher says

Tanaka and Noya 👉🏻 FOR YN?!?? 😡🤬

“Oh my ok!” You say, getting up and walking towards the gates of Karasuno

Tanaka, Noya, Kags and Hinata are ready to go

It takes the entire rest of the team to hold them back 🙄

“WHAT IF THEY KIDNAP YN??” Noya shouts

“They literally showed up at the front of school in broad daylight, like that’s gonna happen,” Suga say, rolling his eyes

“Someone has never watched dateline before,” Tanaka adds

Of course, you ignore them and head for the gates

As you approach, you see the white track suits

You 👉🏻😐😳

“Umm hi,” you say as the boys of Seijoh all look at you

“Team!” Oikawa shouts and they all scream

“THANK YOU FOR THE COOKIES YN!” while bowing

“You are so welcome! Thank you for coming!” You say smiling and going to hug them

You hug Iwa first and boy is he stiff 😅

“Omg is Oikawa crying?” Kageyama says, shoving Hinata out of the way as they watch around the corner.

“Hey watch it butthole!” Hinata shouts as he pushed Kageyama out of the way.

“I’d cry too if YN hugged me,” Noya added as Tanaka nodded.

“You guys are about to have something to cry about if you don’t get your butts back to the gym RIGHT NOW!” Daichi shouted, looming over them as the boys all turned and ran back to the gym.

Karasuno's teamwork evolving match after match, and becoming the foundation of their strategy, is my favorite quality of theirs. As the coaches of Shiratorizawa put it, it is a "selfless teamwork." A totally different concept to Shiratorizawa's that is more like the addition of individual strengths.

Karasuno was not complacent when it comes to strategizing offenses (well, they had disagreements about that during training camp lol..). Yet ultimately, they developed tactics that used each other as support and let their teammates shine both off and on court; like in the Shiratorizawa match, when they positioned Asahi behind (to receive) just like Ennoshita's idea in the past (I'm glad they brought Ennoshita up!). Oh and hello???? Tanaka who can score points and is always there to stay. And Nishinoya, who learned how to set. And we will never forget Suga and Kageyama switching positions as setters.

But the best and most straightforward example of this teamwork is the synchronized attack, the one they learned from a team in training camp.

All in all, Karasuno deserves their flowers.

I dunno if you’ve done this yet but, how do you think the Karasuno boys would react to being asked to squish a spider for y/n??? Totally not because I have a huge fear of spiders and hate having to kill them myself 🥺😭

If they're all together, it's instant chaos.

People are running. Some running away from the spider, some towards. Tsukishima and Kageyama are watching everything unfold with a ❓over their head. Daichi is screaming at everyone to calm down.

Some are screeching and cowering in terror (you, Asahi, Yamaguchi and Yachi).

Noya, Suga and Tanaka are trying to catch it.

Suga wants to catch it to play with it.

Tanaka wants to squish it.

Noya wants to eat it.

This is why Asahi is screaming because he has seen this horror before.

In the end someone accidentally steps on it and ends the chaos.

I know you probably wanted individual reactions so I'm going to do that below:

Daichi:

Stays calm.

Uses a slipper to squish it.

The entire thing is over in 2 minutes.

Suga:

As I said before, he wants to play with it.

Lets it run over his hand until you're screaming at him to kill it.

He doesn't kill it, just lets it free in the garden/hallway/balcony.

Asahi:

You're screaming.

He's screaming.

The spider is screaming.

But he has the Mom friend override™️

So when he sees you're freaked out, he will step up.

No matter how terrified he also is

He will take a long broom or stick and try to shoo it away while you're using him as a human shield.

Doesn't have the heart to kill it so he'll just try and shoo it out of the apartment.

The entire process will take an hour.

Tanaka:

Trash talks the spider while he's trying to chase it around.

Tells it how much better he is and how he is going to get back at it for scaring you.

"You think you're so smart hiding behind the cabinet? Well, take that!" As he shoves a long stick behind.

Finally manages to get it in a place where he can step on it.

Does an evil revenge laugh after it's dead.

Noya:

Menace. Absolute chaos.

Furniture is flying, beds are shaking, glasses are breaking.

He's yelling and challenging it to a fight.

You're yelling at him to not eat it under any circumstance.

Doesn't manage to catch it in the end and the spider gets away.

You're both left cleaning an upside down apartment.

Ennoshita:

He's calm about it.

Tells you not to worry and to go to another room while he takes care of it.

Brings you a snack after and tells you you can rest easy.

Tsukishima:

Teases you (playfully) for being scared of such a tiny thing.

Says he'll take care of it.

Uses a bug spray and disposes of it.

Yamaguchi:

Doesn't have the heart to kill it.

He isn't necessarily afraid of it but spiders can be jumpy and unpredictable and he doesn't like that.

Uses a glass to capture it and then releases it into the wild.

Kageyama:

Throws a volleyball at it to squish it.

Takes a few tries but he manages it.

Texts Hinata gloating about how he squished a tiny spider accurately with his volleyball.

Hinata:

"Oh, y/n chan you're scared of spiders? Don't worry I got this."

He says while his legs are shaking.

Calls Tanaka and Nishinoya for advice and ends up getting a detailed strategy that lasts 5 business days.

While he is on the call, Natsu has picked the spider up.

Cue screaming.

He dives, snatches the spider and flings it outside the window.

Phone Calls with Karasuno

What a phone call between the two of you might look like/when you might call

Daichi

Daichi calls you whenever you walk home alone. He always walks you home if you go to his practice, and he usually does the same when he doesn't have practice, but sometimes you need to go straight home, or you have too much work to come see him practice. On those days, he calls you on his way home to make sure you got home safe.

Suga

He honestly calls you most mornings when he's on his way to practice, which is about the time you wake up. He likes to get the chance to talk to you since you two don't see each other much during the day due to your schedules, and he knows you like to hear his voice in the morning.

Asahi

He's such a sweetheart, he calls you whenever he has the chance. He just calls you when he's bored and always gets super shy when you pick up. He calls you every night when he's at training camp, which he got scolded for by Daichi because he's keeping the others awake. He really just likes to hear your voice all the time because it's familiar and calming.

Noya

He usually calls you every so often, generally just to check in if he hasn't seen you much that day. You guys don't usually call because you're constantly snapping each other silly photos, which gets you both in trouble in school. When he's at training camp though- he'll just drop off the face of the earth for a while because he's so into practice, but then he'll turn around and call you half a million times to gush about all the awesome things that happened today, and usually ends up keeping you awake until way past your bed time.

Tanaka

He's not usually one for calling, since y'all are together almost all the time, and you text a lot when you aren't hanging out. But every so often, when he finds himself feeling lonely or down,   you'll be woken in the middle of the night by the sound of your phone ringing. He'll apologize over and over again for waking you up, but when you prompt him he'll shyly admit that he needed to hear your voice. Those are usually the times when you guys are the sweetest.

Ennoshita

He calls you every so often, usually just to check up on you. He prefers to interact with you in person, but he'll call you up just to say hi if he knows you're both too busy to hang out for a while. When practice has been taking up a lot of his time lately, he calls you most every night because he doesn't want you to feel at all neglected or lonely, even though you completely understand he's just busy.

Kageyama

Oh he had to work up the guts to call you the first few times. This boy's just shy and you know it, so you were the one to call him in the beginning, usually just to say hi, tell him to do his best, and remind him to eat and take breaks so he doesn't overwork himself. But he got more comfortable initiating conversations and stuff with you, so now he calls you all the time. He literally calls you every morning after practice to make sure you got to school ok, and every night to make sure you got home. He's super protective, but it's ok with you because you know if you told him to stop it he'd back down right away.

Hinata

He doesn't have to call you. He basically orbits around you. Of course he can't always be with you, but he texts you at basically every spare minute. Yes he overuses exclamation points. It's just facts. He does call sometimes, but that's usually when he's off at training camp and won't see you for a while, or when he's really excited about something and just has to tell you everything right now. Calls with Hinata usually last forever and typically end with the both of you getting yelled at to go to bed already, but it's always worth it. He's a literal ball of sunshine and you can't say no to him.

Tsukishima

He doesn't call. We're not sure he knows or cares how to use a phone. He doesn't really like digital interactions, so, because he's conveniently your neighbor, whenever he wants to see you or talk to you he just shows up at your front door. He'll usually just hang out with you in your room, sometimes you'll both just sit next to each other quietly doing your own thing, sometimes you'll study together or listen to music. When he's been really busy with practice, he'll usually come see you, and you can probably convince him to cuddle with you, sometimes because he feels a little bad for not seeing you much lately, and sometimes because he's just done with practice and wants to be comforted (though he'll never admit it).

Yamaguchi

You call him all the time to tell him about your classes, your day, how good he did in practice, etc. He humors you because he thinks it's cute how excitable you are. Your enthusiasm has been rubbing off on him though, and he's started calling you a lot more to tell you about all sorts of goofy things that happened during practice, or something really smart that Tsukki said in class today.
