In your third year at Karasuno, you were lucky enough to be named captain by the other girls in your year. What a proud day it was, as you looked around and realised they were all confidently pointing at you for the vote. This meant you had to start managing everyone and sometimes book the volleyball gym for extra training, amongst other tasks.

This inevitably led to disagreements with the boys’ team sometimes.

And their captain, Yamaguchi, was so terribly nice that you hated arguing about it. Your huge crush on him didn’t help either. However, you did want to argue with the beanstalk that was always standing behind him and hindering you from having any further conversation.

When Yamaguchi said “It’s okay, you can have it this time. We should probably do some running anyways,” Tsukishima would cut in with-

“You said that last time, too.” And Tsukishima wanted to add that he wished his best friend didn’t always give in simply because he found you so pretty, but he was way too good of a friend for that (no, Tsukki didn't realise he was sabotaging just by being around all the time).

“Sorry, Tsukki.”

You would smile thankfully and tell your team you got the gym that day, giving Tsukishima the side eye before politely bowing to Yamaguchi.

And the captain of the boys' team would look after you longingly. He wondered what life was like being that pretty. If only he knew you looked at him and saw constellations, wishing you could spend time plotting all of them.

oh my goodness i love this SO BAD!!! i am defo obsessed and i LOVE all the facial expressions and the lil details like yamaguchi getting off the chair to join the others on the floor lmao and kageyama thinking abt food and CONFIDENT YACHI and hinatas speech bubble hiding tsukkis face (and tsukkis speech bubble hiding kageyamas face) and tsukkis face when he says the stuff abt bullying is soooo accurate!!!! ALSO i love how kageyama said nothing the whole time and is just sitting there thinking abt food, while hinata went from criss-cross to excited to yelling at tsukki to rolling on the floor, its hilarious. alsoooo yamaguchi and yachis collective 🥺 faces nearly making tsukki cave
