brynn and Niall (@mmothmanners ) reunion hug and sketchpage . I do have..a very sad series of drawings started, of when they met in the shadowfell and had a final goodbye... BUT we also got the good ending to our DND game and the effects of some shit were reversed and I needed to ride the energy to draw cute fluff instead of complete the sad. ( I will finish it eventually I swear) the cat brynn is referring to is... this one . Cuz he never did end up delivering that cranberry brie, cream, and ball of string. Being fae royalty he has to be true on his word now.

After dinner, the children were sent upstairs to play, while Emma and Niall were bringing out the Winterfest gifts from their hiding places. Once everything was neatly placed and assembled, the kids were called down again. Quickly, they ran down the stairs, with Ruby sat on Louis's back, as she was a bit unsure about going faster.

Entering the room, the siblings immediately noticed the huge wooden box standing in front of them. Emma and Niall excitedly waved their arms to point at it, a little out of breath from how much they had run around the room to prepare everything. But it was worth it, seeing the joy in their children's eyes now. And this was not even all that they got for them!

Louis immediately decided that he would be the first to give a performance for the family. He ruffled through the puppets and made up a story, while his sisters opened their other presents. There was a doll for each of them. One looked a bit like Ruby, the other like Dorothy, and the girls instantly fell in love with their new little friends.

The excitement was interrupted by someone clearing their throat. Louis had opened up the curtains of the puppet theatre, and two little puppets were looking out from it. His parents sat down on the rug to watch the show and hurried their daughters to do the same. Dorothy and Ruby did sit down with them for a bit, although they quickly got distracted by their new toys again. But it was the thought that counted, as Louis encouraged them to watch by coming up with new interesting moments and funny jokes in his story.

[TRANSCRIPT]

Niall: "Louis, Ruby, Dorothy!"

Emma: "Come to the living room, there's a surprise for you!"

Louis: "Coming!"

Dorothy: "Look, Lulu, look!"

Louis: "Is that-?"

Emma & Niall: "TA-DAA!"

Louis: "Ruby, it's a proper puppet theatre!"

Ruby: *giggles*

Vying for Versailles: FIRST LI IN RC UNIVERSE THAT MADE ME HEAD OVER HEELS, ALEXANDRE. He's still the best compared with King's romance path. I'm now looking for a happy ending with Prince

The Desert Rose: ADIL!! But now I'm replaying for pursuing Zain, then perhaps Mustafa and Jack in the future. I'm also curious to explore Zain or Adil's disloyal storyline. This book has really made me feel conflicted about my choices.

Heaven's Secret 2: STILL LOYAL TO LUCIFER. I've also had Astaroth's ending.

It was quite late already, when Emma came home from a long day at the studio. She had only just arrived, when suddenly, she heard the baby crying upstairs. Quickly, she went to check on him, only to find him all alone in his room, when Niall was supposed to be looking after him.

The dull sound of glass falling onto carpet followed by a louder thump drew her attention away for a moment, unsure what just happened in the other room. With Louis in her arms, Emma made her way next door, where she found her husband trying to pick himself off the floor. It seemed as though he tripped and fell, while holding a glass and bottle in hand.

In hopes of offering some comfort, Emma sat down next to a quietly sobbing Niall. To him, however, any sign of comfort was still far away. He had been on edge for days, maybe weeks at this point, only calming down the slightest amount when numbing his brain with alcohol. Now, there was no excuse to keep that from his wife any longer. And while Emma was not exactly able to understand the way he felt and why, she would do anything to help him, since he clearly had trouble all by himself.

[TRANSCRIPT]

Louis: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Emma: "Louis? It's okay sweetheart. Your mummy's here. But where's your father gone?"

*faint crash*

Niall: "Ugh... what the-"

Emma: "Niall!? Are you alright? What happened?"

Niall: "I- I don't know."

Niall: "I- ouch... I was just getting a refill and then I fell."

Emma: "Louis was crying when I came home."

Niall: "I know! But I was gone for a minute, I swear! I just cannot stand that noise!"

Niall: "Gosh, Emma, I'm so sorry. I don't know what to do anymore."

Emma: "What do you mean?"

Niall: "Everything feels like it's too much for me these days."

Niall: "I love our son, I really do! But when I look at him, I see my life going on without me. And then I just want to crawl into bed, hide away from it all. The alcohol helps drown it all out, but it makes me feel worse afterward."

Niall: "I feel so hopeless, Emma!"

Emma: "Oh, sweetheart, don't say such things!"

Niall: "What else am I supposed to do? Everything seems to be going wrong."

Emma: "We'll figure out a way through this. Together."
