The acolyte said we will tempt you with lesbians and shirtless manny jacinto and we will keep you with an in depth look into the philosophies of the Sith and the Jedi and the variation of that philosophy within the Jedi order and get into the nitty gritty Star wars fans have been arguing about for years (at least I hope, so far we’re in, I think, a promising, but could also go to shit, direction. We’ll see)

just watched Into the Spiderverse for the first time and it was sheer awesomeness but I’m stuck on two things in particular:
a) the ANIMATION. oh my GOSH. the way the edges of the screen were glitching in the beginning, and then they glitched even more when Miles got bit?? Also the comic thought bubbles and speech panels were GENIUS. The different colors!! The glitches!! The final battle scene alone!!! How did they make everyone’s character designs so drawable??? My GOODNESS they popped off
b) Peter B Parker and Miles Morales are so Kanan and Ezra coded it’s not even funny

Wife and I are watching Solo. Again. Because I love it.
And I really love the idea of Han Solo relying so heavily on luck because he has to, of a necessity, reject the idea of destiny. He has to believe that destiny doesn’t exist, because his life has been nothing but misery interspersed with a couple of self-made bright points. He can’t believe that suffering is his destiny, because he’s been suffering since before he was old enough to have even done anything wrong.
So he clings to luck. He can make his own luck. He can do whatever he has to to be lucky. If the bad things are just because of luck, then the terrible things in his life aren’t his fault.
That makes his progression to VII, where he says “the Jedi, the Force, destiny, it’s all true” much more impactful.

You telling me it's the same guy (Dave Filoni) who wrote most of Rebels season 4 and Ahsoka?

My portrait of Darth Vader - Star Wars - Tribute to James Earl Jones
This is my first time drawing Darth Vader now and I drew this in a hurry so I apologize that it turned out a bit bad, especially around his mask, I drew this within 30 minutes otherwise definitely one of my Star Wars characters and my favorite villain , who admittedly used to be a tragic hero until he went to the dark side. Yes, I drew this in honor of one of my favorite actors named James Earl Jones who sadly left this world 10 days ago.
James Earl Jones was born in 1931 and was one of the best actors of all time. He played many characters, but he is most famous for Darth Vader, who starred in most of the Star Wars movies, as well as for his role as Mufasa, Simba's father, in The Lion King from 1994. He also played Maggie Simpson in the Simpsons series. He also acted in various theater plays and was awarded many prizes, especially the Oscar. He died on September 9, 2024.
Darth Vader (Sith Lord) was actually Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Knight until he went to the dark side of the Force under the influence of Palpatine. When he was about to kill his son Luke Skywalker, Darth turned against Palpatine and defeated him, but lost his life. Certainly one of my favorite characters, who had a tragic fate. Certainly a big thanks to James Earl Jones who played him. Peace to his soul and eternal glory to him! Amen.
Yeah, Darth Vader didn't turn out well, so next time I draw him, I'll draw him in a better Star Wars style. Certainly this is in honor of the actor who played Darth Vader.
Then there is a meme in honor of that actor. Many thanks to him for everything!

Reason I hate the Prequels #725
Padme upon hearing that Anakin is a mass murderer in Revenge of the Sith:
Like, she already knew this three years ago?
