GAZA! 🇵🇸 Almost everybody on the planet has heard of this word, though. Why not, too? The most shocking thing about this brutal genocide against the world's most oppressed people is how they justify this senseless slaughter of women and children. They are having difficulty obtaining necessities like food and water, and guess what? The Jews, who were given sanctuary by the Palestinians, are subjected to this persecution in a Muslim-majority nation. Ahhh, the unsettling pictures of kids and the reports of adolescent girls and women being sexually assaulted. And here I am, writing this blog and doing absolutely nothing.

Perhaps the most severe sensation I have is that after we all pass away, questions regarding our roles in the tyranny will be raised. not one thing has changed in our ordinary lives; yet, some people are boycotting companies that promote Israel, raising the question of why these companies even exist. As you can see, they are so consumed with their success and wealth that they don't even consider humanity or our fundamental morality. What's worse is that we have no empathy whatsoever for Palestinians. Yes, even you! heard me correctly! because it has no effect on your day-to-day existence. We are having a pleasant time while dining in restaurants. Nothing in how we live every day has altered. And since we as human beings fell short to act and speak up for them, we are the individuals who are most accountable for this holocaust. We will pay a price for this.The Qur'an indicates that Almighty is aware of everything.

Yes, although I forget when I last shared the books I've been reading, so hopefully I don't repeat anything.

I know that I've repeated this book because I've mentioned it several times over the past couple of weeks, but I can't help but remind everyone again about Steve Coll's excellent new book, The Achilles Trap: Saddam Hussein, the C.I.A., and the Origins of America's Invasion of Iraq (BOOK | KINDLE | AUDIO). It's definitely the best book I've read so far this year, and it's one of the better books I've read in the past 10 years.

A video of Palestinian man burning to death while still connected to an IV went viral after Israel firebombed a hospital and set tents on fire. I won't post the video or the pictures but I'd like to commemorated the victim.

This is Shaaban Al-Dalu. He had two sisters and a little brother. He was studying software engineering in the tent he died in. Shaaban was his family's sole provider. His mother died with him. May they rest in peace
