「好きな果物は？」と訊かれたら、以前は「ネクタリン」と答えてたけど、最近は種無しで皮ごとバクバク食べられるブドウも良いですね〜ほぼ一年中食べられるし😋🍇 なーんて浮気してた私ですが、やはり9月は一番美味しい時期のバラ科の果物を食べた〜い❣️ということで、ちょっと大人買い？しちゃいました😆 てっぺんのはちょっと珍しい山形産のグリーンのプラム “ケルシー” です。

Blood peach, apricot and nectarine trees are starting to blossom.

This year I'm adding two new stone fruit trees: a flat peach and a flat nectarine.

I have this small, potted columnar apricot tree that's not quite columnar anymore and I'm thinking of trying my hand at grafting it with every type of stone fruit I have. Will have to wait until next spring for that, but I'm looking forward to it.

The early, self fertile flowers of Prunus persica var. nectarina 'Humboldt' (nectarine 'Humboldt') will produce fruit with a golden flesh that has a rich flavour. This cultivar is considered a heavy cropper. The tree is being fan trained in the protected environment of a glasshouse so if there are no bees evident the flowers are best pollinated with a paintbrush.

strawberry: he said he was denying his feelings the whole time until everybody around him started telling him that he’s in love hehe and when he did accept his feelings he was so stiff 😭 had to sit him down and ask what was going on because i’ve never seen him acting like that (found out from yanqing and qingzu tho)

cherry vanilla: his love language is words of affirmations and gift giving!!!! but sometimes he goes straight to physical contact to let me know that he is giving me his affection / attention! it’s easier for me to understand his feelings and it also helps him to relax 🤭

lemon sorbet: omg it was so hard to get him jealous at first because this man hides everything under his smile 💀 but i’ve come to realize that he does in fact get jealous, only after some time though, and it depends on how far i would go to make him mad (like sitting on someone else’s lap 😋)
