So the home health people have been tirelessly calling me to help arrange continuing care for my mom because they're like... caring health care professionals I guess. And after a call last night and several this morning, they got my mom booked in with a PCP in Redmond this Friday so that she can get primary care established and medicare will approve home health. And when I told her about it, she was all, "Eh but... Friday? Why can't it be next week? I didn't want to go anywhere after just getting home." And I'm like... YOU LAZY BITCH ASS-- There are people bending over backwards just to make sure you can get proper healthcare (which so many people try to get but can't including many of my dear and beloved friends), and you are too lazy to want to BE DRIVEN to an appointment THREE WHOLE days from now for an appointment you didn't have to stress about making. She doesn't want home health because she wants me doing it instead, which I am not equipped to do nor do I want to. Also, it's home health! A nurse gets to come TO HER, she doesn't even have to go anywhere, even though she's barely 67 and barely ailing at this point. Getting ill and needing serious medical care was basically the worst thing that could happen in conjunction with her narcissism.

The number of times I've caught myself in the middle of telling myself how worthless, unlovable, dislikable and embarrassing I am is too many. It's almost every day.

And sometimes I correct myself and say "I am not unlovable" "I am allowed to make mistakes" "I have grown and changed since then."

Sometimes, I just wallow in the shame.

I'm still confused about the photos of Eugenie. It sounds as though online People Mag was forced to correct 2 misidentified photos: 1 of Eugenie, the other of cousin Ashleigh.

I wasted time creating 2 gifs from the black & white footage of the boy & MEgain (unidentified videographer) playing w/dogs at a beach for their NOprah lie-fest interview. Video filmed in black & white. Sadly MEgain used the dog toy (chuckit dog ball launcher) to force the boy into hugging her.

The following year, it was Eugenie (visiting the Montecito Money Pit) who was filmed for Netflix at a different USA beach (also in black leggings) when the child was noticeably older.

Dearest Skippy! Anon said it was Eugenie in the Archie beach photo because of the t-shirt… So I did some digging. Here’s a snapshot from the Netflix crap! Do you still have the Archie beach photo to compare? Xo P

Abusive parents using the "well there's no book on raising children" argument when faced with the tiniest bit of accountability from their children is such a wild take to be honest because.. what do you mean you needed a book to tell you that abusing people.. is bad?

Are you genuinely arguing that you had no idea that hitting people smaller and weaker than you is wrong? Not the long term effects abuse has on the developing brain, or the specific types of mental issues it can cause, or how exactly hitting children has worse outcomes in later life. What you're saying is that you had no idea that it was morally wrong to hit people since there was no book saying so. And since you never brought it up till your kids did, you're also expecting them to believe that this book of obvious truths conveniently came out right around the time your adult children asked you what the fuck you were thinking.

Like, you unleashed some of the most vile torrents of emotional abuse you could muster onto a literal eleven year old. You know not to say that shit to your boss, right? You know that when you're at brunch with your girlfriends, or at golf with your buddies, that it's not appropriate to speak that way to them, right? So why would you need a book explaining that it's wrong to speak that way to a child?

It's such a stupid argument because it's essentially saying "I didn't know any better and shouldn't have been expected to learn." But you did know better. The criticism isn't levelled against how few parenting books you chose to read. Nobody was expecting you to become the Albert Einstein of parenting. Just the bare minimum of decency, dignity and respect would have been enough, and you failed.
