Today's fic recs revolve around time travel fics (and a bonus time loop) that include POV from a non-time traveler. Though given the embarrassment of riches in the Star Wars fandom, this is going to be SW specific.

I like the priwer twin idea but what if Nine first name was actually spelled Myles with a Y instead of a I. His name would be Myles Nine Prower.

Fun idea! It sounds the exact same but it's different in text so that's something.

It'll be easier to keep the twins distinct when required even with full name but it would be hilarious if they both use the same spelling in certain situations to confuse the living daylights out of others. Just to be little menaces

Tails Pov

I groan as I wake up noticing sonic pull-out cooked food and water from the fabricator. Knuckles was by the solar batteries looking over the PDA with a frown. Lulu was sitting by sonics feel organizing out what looks to be rations. Amy was sitting beside me messing with my tails gently.

"Guys?" I speak up my voice sounding harsh, as if I hadn't spoken in a few days. "What's going on?"

Amy smiles at me gently and brings me closer to her. "We're ummm the aroura crashed." Her smile falls. "we're the only survivors so far, I fear. The aurora doesn't look fixable and were surrounded by water basically on an alien planet."

I pause my first reaction was to look at sonic knowing his feeling about the any body of water. Noticing he seem content as he works with the fabricator I continue to speak with Amy. "Even on vacation we can never catch a break." I joke weakly seeing the gang smile a bit. "I bet if I can figure out away on to the Auroura, I can get downloads and data to build a way off this planet."

Sonic smiles, "Thats perfect idea but first I bet we going to need supplies."

"As long as we stay away from the seaweed. Those creatures are fast or as the scanner says they are called stalkers. They're fast and predatory so we need to be on the lookout for them if we see the kelp." Knuckles voice rings out causing concern to fill me.

I pause filling uneasy, "let me look it over." Knuckles nods walking over and handing me the PDA system. I scan over the information and my eyes narrow as I focus on the words. "interesting" I look up at them "What other information do we got on this planet?"

"Not much but knuckles got scans on what creatures are eatable at least and some flora." Lulu speaks up her green eyes dulled from exhaustion her ears also lowered. Sonic walks over and starts fiddling with the radio.

"At least we have good news!" Amy smiles as she stands "We have food, and we landed into what looks to be a safe shallow area and we have a way before we get close to the kelp or the deep."

I nod smiling up at Amy my tails curling around me "Your right Amy, all we need is some luck in materials and we can see what we can get off the aurora."

"Good point Tails" Sonic smiles at me only for him to flinch as the radio makes loud staticky sounds before forming into the same voice as the PDA.

"Detecting increased local radiation levels... Trend is consistent with damage to the Aurora's drive core, sustained during planetfall." the PDA sounds and sonic rubs his ears.

"Can that thing be any louder" He scowls.

"Radiations going to be a problem. We need to go out for supplies and scavenge what we can already get to" I say as I scan over information, "I looks like we got lucky from the planetary scans we landed on rock around 1000 kilometer in both directions the rest looks like pure water."

"Oh wow" Lulu gasps.

"Wait" Sonic looks towards me nervously "Who's going out for supplies?"

I hesitate to know his fear of water or more specially not having the control to resurface. "All of us it should be faster if we all go out searching for supplies and scraps." I watch as fear fills my brothers' eyes. "Sonic...." My ears lower before an idea comes to my mind. "Do we have rope?"

Amy hesitates, looking at me wearily, "Yes...But it's not much"

I smile and stand up my tails twitching "Good! I have an idea!" I grab sonics hands "Come on! You can stay near the pod! We can tie the rope to you and the other end to the ladder outside so If you get low on oxygen you can climb up the rope and on the top of the pod for air!" I smile brightly my tails wagging behind me as I hear knuckles try and cover his laugh with a cough from sonics pure terror.

Sonic smiles nervously, "We umm well umm we can try?"

I smile grabbing the rope from Amy "YAY! perfect! now hold still." I say as I tie the rope around his waist. Lulu looks up and smiles.

"I'll stay near the pod with sonic just in case he freaks out a bit, besides knuckles said something about some small cave systems nearby I can look into." Lulu speaks up.

"Good Idea lulu!" Amy hugs her.

"Oh! make sure you pin the pod in your suits so you can find your way back to the pod." Lulu reminds us.

We active our ping to the pod and I double check everyone's. We climb out the pod and I tie Sonics rope to the ladder and smile, "All ready to go"

Sonic smiles nervously and Amy laughs before jumping in making a big splash. I giggle and follow after her, Lulu not far behind me. We gasp as our heads break through the surface. I look up see sonic fidgeting nervously. I was about to say something when knuckles shoves him off the pod with a laugh.

i hope that you guys know that when i talk about love i'm not talking about romance. i'm talking about a thing that goes beyond the boundaries of 'romantic' or 'familial' or 'platonic'. it's the thing that lives inside of all of us, thats inate in all human beings. its not about your relationship to that person. its about finding a thing, or a animal or a person, and feeling something ancient for them, in spite of your relationship. when people talk about romantic love they often arent actually talking about love. its a copy of a copy.

theres something inside all of us, that in the right circumstances will have you do the impossible to try and save someone, or even just to show them a bit of kindness when you know they cant be saved. you dont need to share blood for that to come in to being, you dont need to be attracted to them, you dont even need to like them. sometimes, something happens to bring it out in you and then its just there. you want the best for them (even if you might not know what that is) and you are suddenly willing to go beyond the limits of what it means to be human to make that happen.

most of the time the circumstances of the moment dont require any supernatural feat. but if they did, you might just try. its not a conscious thing. you just would. because the moment you love someone, be they a stranger on a bus, family, your partner, your friend, or just an acquaintance of circumstance; you're unconciously reminded that to love is to BE human. we live in order to love. you'd do the impossible, because you'd do anything to keep that love alive, because if not, why are you living? why have you survived up until that point and what is the point of continuing to do so.

it hadn't been the first place fox looked - he'd checked every other spot myles liked to go first. fox had been searching for him for a couple hours until he finally thought, as a last ditch effort, to check the cemetery. he hadn't expected to find myles here, but deep in the cemetery he found him kneeled in front of a gravestone. fox knelt beside him, hands planted in the soft earth for balance. "hey," he said softly. he glanced at the gravestone, reading the name there, then looked back to myles. "who's this?"
