Shadow has been neglecting his phone as of recently. I've called him over to ask what was wrong, but he just seems a bit sad. I don't think the Caramelldansen is helping either (good song choice, bad timing)...

I'm not very mobile right now, so I can't check unless I want to get spiritually stabbed by my ribs. I think he's sleeping, but he usually sleeps later at night. That's common for hedgehogs since they're nocturnal, I think.

I really think this whole situation has fully got to him. Everyone is blaming themselves, and honestly? I think Shadow misses Sonic. I think he feels guilty for having to have him in that situation. Even if he has experienced a lot of stuff a teenager usually doesn't, he's still a teenager. I know he's usually this "I am stronger and darker than all of you" guy, but I'm worried. I'll relay the ask when I see him again, but I don't know when that would be.

This AU consumes my mind every SINGLE moment. I can't even imagine the brutal practical torture he would have gone through because of quirk awakenings. He finally gets used to something and they pull out an entirely new method that will plague his dreams. And does the quirk itself reset after he loses it or does it stay awakened? Cause if it stays awakened the government will try and keep making him get new ones to be even more powerful but if it resets he's gonna go through even WORSE.
