whatever you do, do NOT imagine quirk awakening au!Monoma flinching away from his friends because he's become so conditioned to experiencing fear and pain every time he copies a quirk that he has not previously awakened
-Copycat
IM. SCREAMING OU.MY GODD HELLO
Copycat you've MURDERED ME VIOLENTLY
He's so conditioned into fearing his own quirk, and by proxy, he fears others' quirks, and then he's left wondering, "How was I able to copy others' quirks so naturally before??" He's so used to being scared it's not natural to him. He can't even think of a world where it is. I just.
THE BOY.
This AU consumes my mind every SINGLE moment. I can't even imagine the brutal practical torture he would have gone through because of quirk awakenings. He finally gets used to something and they pull out an entirely new method that will plague his dreams. And does the quirk itself reset after he loses it or does it stay awakened? Cause if it stays awakened the government will try and keep making him get new ones to be even more powerful but if it resets he's gonna go through even WORSE.
This is vexing me.

HRLLO COPYCAT I HAVE A QUESITONF
in your earlier theory you posted a long ago you mentioned aizawa not wanting the information of monoma being able to awaken quirks getting out in fear of the hero commission (I believe this was you)
What would happen if it did get out? And theoretically what if monoma was forced to work under them?
I love angst
HELLO FRIEND I ALSO LOVE ANGST
anyway yes you are 100% correct, that was me yapping about potential ideas for Monoma's quirk awakening with the tidbit about the government hiding away in the tags
ANYHOW, to Aizawa's reasoning
Aizawa's desire to keep Monoma's awakening a secret stems from his concerns over Monoma's autonomy and freedom. and Aizawa's worries are not without reason.
one of my personal headcanons is that, although Monoma is a top ranked hero by the time the manga comes to a close (i.e. after a lengthy time-skip), his first few years out of high school were rough. he was a pivotal part of the war, sure, but a lot of that information was concealed from the public. that said, for Monoma's first few years as a hero, he faced a lot of the same shit that he did growing up; namely, claims that he was too weak to be on his own or, worse yet, that his quirk was one suited for a villain. (there were... a LOT of comparisons made between [Copy] and [All-for-One]. Monoma fielded them gracefully, but it could get overwhelming.)
if the news got out that Monoma had developed a skill that could allow for him to copy a quirk and then modify it to be more powerful than the original, i could easily see the public—and the government—suddenly placing him under scrutiny yet again. there would be debates over the ethicality of him modifying others' unique powers. there would be questions over whether or not [Copy] should be so freely used, or even allowed to exist unchecked in the first place. it would place a spotlight on Monoma's every move—driven by fear that his ability could be weaponized by villains or that he himself could go rogue—and it would lead to him being kept under tight surveillance as a result.
Hawks, as the new president of the commission, would do everything in his power to protect Monoma from being exploited the way he himself had been. but at the end of the day, the government is still the government; they would see the potential for a new weapon and, with or without Hawks' approval, they would get a hold of Monoma eventually.
it would be simple enough. Monoma wouldn't want the public to be terrified of him, so he’d willingly agree to stricter regulation to ease their concerns. from there, the government could easily manipulate him into working for them—preying on his desire to prove his worth as a hero. the recent media attention would reopen old wounds, reminding Monoma of the ridicule and doubt he faced growing up, and it would only push him even further into the government's control.
it would be brutal. after all, awakenings don't just happen. they necessitate that the quirk user be placed into a situation where they are so stressed out that their power physically mutates in an effort to protect them. and the government wouldn't hesitate to throw Monoma into these situations, finding new and inventive ways to push him to the breaking point, time and time again, to force each new awakening.
(it's ironic. the public would be scared by the idea of Monoma being weaponized by villains, but in the end, it would be their own government that did it. and the very system meant to protect him would instead be the one exploiting his abilities, all under the guise of maintaining public safety.)

DPxBNHA Prompt
@evilminji recently made a Post about DP x MHA and I'm in love with the idea of those 2 fandoms together. (I'm gonna tag this dpxdc just to spread it around but there won't be much dc in it. Maybe a few crumbs here and there)
So! Quirks came into existence the same day Danny became a Halfa. He wasn't directly responsible for it, but when the Portal opened it released a truly Massive amount of Ectoplasm into the world at large. The Dr's Fenton didn't notice it at first, because Amity Park had always had that level of Ectoplasm and all of their Sensors were within the City Limits.
The Ectoplasm released onto the world quickly and integrated with multiple Humans across the Planet, and eventually enough Ectoplasm gathered in a single Human to form the first Proto-Core, aka Quirk. That human was the Glowing Baby.
This phenomenon spread across the world as the situation in Amity Park devolved. The GIW knew for certain that these "Meta Abilities" were the result of Ectoplasm Contamination, and doubled down on Amity Park to try and fruitless contain the spread. Not that it would have worked, the Portal opening had sent a Shockwave across the fabric of Reality, creating mini-portals that continued to feed Ectoplasm to the Earth.
Eventually the day came when Amtiy Park was Evacuated from the Mortal Realm by Clockwork for it's own Protection. It's disappearance was blamed on a newly awakened Quirk destroying the entire Town, which was used to feed the flames of hatred in the Early Dawn Era.
Then one day, Amity Park returns. In Japan of all places.
Clockwork had dragged the entire Town through Time, to an Era that would accept their abilities. It was placed in the countryside of Japan. Clockwork had considered putting them in a dimension of Heroes, bur decided that would like to stay in their home dimension for now.
Thats the basic world building, but there are other parts we can expand upon in this AU
For Example, OFA and AFO
All for One was the first True Core in the 1st Gen of Quirks, but he was born with a Defect that made him unable to generate his own Ectoplasm. He felt a Hunger that could never be satiated, and eventually found a way to feed that hunger by absorbing the Proto-Cores of other people into his own True Core, stealing their Quirks.
One For All was the Opposite, born as an empty True Core but without the insatiable Hunger that his brother had. Then AFO force fed him a Stockpile Core and it fused with his own, giving him the power to Generate and Stockpile his own Ectoplasm.
He also had the power to Pass On his Core to another Body, basically just passing on his power. Then his Successor did the same, and their successor, and their Successor. Eventually we reach the 9th Holder of OFA, and the Singularity.
In this world, the Quirk Singularity isn't just an event where Quirks grow too powerful for their Bodies to handle, it is an event where the Proto-Cores of Quirk Users experience an Apotheosis, and change from Proto to True Cores. True Cores which the Human Body can't handle having.
But it's different for OFA. It was a True Core from the beginning, born within a Human Body, and it has the power of 6 other Proto-Cores within itself all ready to Apotheosis into True Cores themselves. When OFA is passed onto zuku Midoriya, it floods him with 7 Cores worth of Ectoplasm, and turns him into a Halfa.
When Danny and the rest if Amity Park reappear in Japan, they find not only a world populated by mostly Liminal Humans, but also a Powerful Halfa who doesn't even know he is a Halfa. Maybe even 2 if All Might also experienced the same Apotheosis?
Thoughts?

Everybody talks abt the bakugous adopting toga, now get ready for: the togas adopt bakugou
They adopt him when he's around 5 years old, after an accident with his Quirk awakening heavily injures his mother, putting her in a medically-induced coma. His father isn't capable of taking care of a child after that, and katsuki is sent into foster care. Part of him has given up on the idea that his dad would ever take him back, but the other part is clinging onto the hope that his mother would wake up and find him. Wherever he is.
The Toga's foster Katsuki for a few months initially, which turns into a full year. Himiko, about 6 years old, likes the idea of having a new little brother.
(I've heard theories before that Himiko already had some other unnamed siblings since she's described as "the oldest daughter of the family" but to keep things simple let's just say she was an only child up until this point.)
(Also, I don't know whether this is canon or not, but while Himiko is her first name, we aren't sure if Toga is her real last name. But again, to keep things simple, let's just say that it is.)
Katsuki was a tough nut to crack, or maybe he would be if his foster parents ever really tried. From what we see in Toga's backstory, I assume they're not really there for their kids emotionally. As long as they eat three meals a day and have a roof over their heads, they've done their jobs, or at least that's what they think.
Katsuki and Himiko are left alone a lot. Maybe their folks are always busy at work or just didn't spend much time with them. Either way, the two become closer as the only kids in the house.
Now, canon Katsuki would probably be really judgemental about Himiko's gorey interests, but in this AU, he has literally almost killed his mother. He's in no place to judge and he knows that. No matter what crazy infatuation this girl has, it's got nothing compared to what was practically a murder.
Katsuki's a little more closed off at this age, kind of like in the canon storyline, but at age 5-6. Having lost his parents, his friends, and being put in some stranger's home, he's not the type to really show off anymore. He's hard to get to know, but Himiko never stops trying.
Despite everything, a bond begins to bloom.
Katsuki and Himiko are inseparable. They do little kid things like Katsuki going "watch this!" Before doing something cool and making sure his sister gets to watch, and Himiko cheers him on like he's just done the most amazing thing in the world. And to her, it probably was.
This is where Katsuki's show-offiness begins to bloom again. He loves showing his sister all his achievements. A perfect score on a test, an award from the sports festival at school, no matter how big or small he shows it to his sister who always cheers him on and encourages him to keep going. He works hard to get better at school, does well in sports, all to get his sister's attention, which she gives generously. She loves watching her little brother succeed in everything. Everyday she's so, so proud of him for something new. She's proud to call him her brother.
Katsuki's personality rubs off on Himiko, too. She starts to get a little competitive, especially when the two play against each other. Be it badminton, tennis, or even just a game of tag, these two are unstoppable. And there's never a sore loser because one will always be proud of the other no matter what the scores are.
Himiko also rubs off on Katsuki, more than she'd like to admit.
I don't think canon katsuki was ever the type to be grossed out or queasy about gorey things. He'd probably find dead animals on the side of the road and call his sister so she could check it out too. As they get older, he brings along a camera, so he can take pictures of all the bloody details for her to examine later. By now Katsuki has been legally adopted, though there still isn't much of a bond between him and his new parents. They are proud of his achievements of course, but they prefer to show him off at parties like a showdog. He prefers Himiko's way of showing her pride in him way more. It feels more genuine.
Katsuki and Himiko aren't exactly delinquents, but they do get into trouble a lot. Katsuki has grown to be a little more violent due to Himiko's influence, enjoying seeing the blood burst from someone's face when it comes in contact with his fist. After he beats someone up, he likes to take a moment to examine his handiwork. A broken nose, a black eye, a tooth landing somewhere, he finds joy in it. He's definitely more of a bully in this AU, not out of anger, but out of pure bloodlust.
At this point he hasn't heard much from his dad, but he visits his mom at the hospital now and then. He gives her updates on his new life, tells her about Himiko, and all his achievements. Part of him doesn't really think she'll ever wake up again. But another still clings onto the hope.
Katsuki and Himiko are middleschool outcasts. Weirdos. Freaks. They don't have many friends, but they have each other, and that's what counts.
Katsuki is still very into heroes, but he let go of the idea of ever becoming one. The shame from his Quirk awakening has left him afraid to use his own Quirk for almost ten years now. It's Himiko that encourages him to use it, calling it a beautiful ability that should be shared. It takes a while, but by graduation, Katsuki is dead set on becoming a hero. Not for money or fame, but for his sister.
Katsuki has also been very supportive of Himiko's interests from the beginning. In fact, he encourages her to become a nurse. After middle school she starts studying medicine, and by the time Katsuki's at UA, guess who's Recovery Girl's cute little sidekick/apprentice.
Himiko gets a front-row seat to all of Katsuki's high school achievements. She cheers him on from the sidelines as he wins the UA Sports Festival, while also treating all the poor souls who fought against him. This is actually how she meets Ochaco. A real meet cute.
She gets angry at how the awards ceremony went, and even got Recovery Girl to use her status at the school to speak to the teachers on her behalf. She's still pretty ticked off by the time they get home, and tells Katsuki to throw the medal away, but he doesn't. He keeps it in his room. It's a symbol of the first time in his life that someone aside from his sister acknowledged his abilities, his Quirk, as a good thing. Aizawa's speech during his fight with Ochaco was proof. After that, he follows his teacher around like a lost puppy, and in turn Himiko does, too. Now he's got two little blonde kids tailing him, and he just gets used to it at some point.
Katsuki's personality is a lot less angry and more a...weird kind of friendly. He got like, half a cup of bimbo-ness from Himiko, as well as a couple of her more tame friendly influences. But he does sometimes get a little too close, and asks questions very bluntly, sometimes offending or making people uncomfortable. But considering 1-A is just a mosh pit of weirdo high school kids, they all get along just fine.
Katsuki and Izuku reunite at UA. It was actually Izuku who approached him. Having missed all the middle school bullying since Katsuki was in another school at the time, the same one Himiko went to, he's a lot more confident. The two have a grand reunion and become better than best friends. They, along with Himiko and Ochaco, hang out together a lot in and out of school. It gets to the point that Ochaco gets a little too happy when she gets injured, knowing she'll get a free pass to visit the cute nurse at the infirmary. Izuku gets to join Himiko on the front row to all of Katsuki's victories, which assigns him as Vice President of the Katsuki Fan Club instantly.
I have so many more ideas for them and I kinda wanna draw/write more about it, so tell me what you think! If this gets very little attention my shyness and short attention span will probably shift me to something else😅

Quirk #4
Here is my fourth quirk idea! Feel free to use this in your fanfics (just give me credit if you directly got it from me) obviously I know however I’m not the only creative person in the world and that some people may have also had these ideas before me!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Quirk: Manifestation of Illustration
This quirk could work two ways.
Number 1 where’d she’d be similar to Tamaki where the illustrations on her body can manifest onto her. So if she had a tiger tattoo she can get tiger ability’s or turn into one.
Number 2 would be that she can bring to life ‘manifest’ anything drawn by her or on her. So it would kind of work like Megumi from Jujitsu Kaisen Demon Dogs do, mixed with Momo’s creation abilities. She has dogs tattooed on her. She can send them out as scouts. She has a dagger drawn on her, she can make it into a real dagger to use etc.
Or both if you want her OP (one can be like a quirk awakening later down the book?)
This entails:
- Objects Creation
- Object Morphing
- Animal Characteristics etc
Weaknesses
- Can only use a certain amount of ink at one time. The ink is kind of like blood to her if she looses too much ink, she will faint or pass out.
- If a tattoo is destroyed, like a dagger is snapped or a deck of cards is burned she will feel that in her body.
- If an object manifested gets lost on the real world she can’t ever tattoo over it again or use that object again.
- She can’t use it like Tamakis quirk where he can choose which bit of his body changes into what he ate. For girlie it’s all or nothing so she either turns fully into the animal tattooed on herself or she can only use their characteristics (echolocation from a dolphin, strength from a dung beetle etc)
- if she doesn’t have it tattooed she has to spend time drawing it on paper, and when she’s rushing her artistic skills can falter (she’s learned this from traumatising experiences)
Strengths
- As long as she has a tattoo of it she can pretty much manifest anything into existence. (Her classmates or prohero friends would joke about ‘useless tattoos’ until they find out it’s something they need)
- Because of the ease when it comes to drawing weapons she trained to learn how to not solely rely on her quirk, so she’s actually able to use the weapons effectively that she draws.
- very powerful quirk, top 5 hero kinda powerful.
Hero Name:
The Embodiment Hero: Bodice
Zodiac: Leo
Ethnic Background: French / Japanese
Height: 5ft 8
Weight: 134ibs
Style: Tomboy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Physical Traits: Lots of tattoos everywhere and they get more random the more you look.
Mannerisms: She rolls her eyes all the time, you compliment her, expect and eye roll, you tell her you’ve just killed five citizens and her cousin was one of them, expect an eye roll, her food comes out wrong at a restaurant, expect and eye roll.
Favourite:
Food: Coq au Vin
Drink: Champagne
Colour: Grey
Weather: Snow
Possession: Dagger
Morning Routine:
She has two diaries, one where she’ll draw out how she thinks and expects her day to go and then another one where it’s how it actually went.
Hobbies:
Painting and Hikes
Special Skills:
Drawing duh!
Pet Peeves:
Chatty Strangers
Bad At:
Opening up to people, bit of a closed book!
Biggest Fear:
Her ability to draw one day going, or not enjoying it anymore.
Greatest Flaw:
She’s a massive smoker!
Goals:
To eradicate the need for a hero society (ie no large scale villains means no need for hero’s)
Who I see them with:
Guys - HAWKS, Denki
Girls - MS JOKE , Kendo

Decided to just upload it.
Basically Toga as a kitsune AU
Character design n shit
Spoilers and autism rant beyond this.
Toga in this AU is, visually, a kitsune. Not by natural means, as in it's her original quirk, but rather by doctor's orders - y'know? Would so lore drop but I've got a whole ass doc I gotta curate and make into an actual Ao3 without deleting the damn thing, sooooo
What I will share:
After basically everyone fucking DIES in the war (also note that I've only gotten back into MHA solely because TogaUraraka!?!?), and notably because Twice gave her "his" blood(this is so relevant in the next paragraph), Toga gets nabbed after the two LESBIANS pass out. She's then incorporated by these suspicious medical specialist-- under the guise of being house-arrested in a windowless, guarded hospital that's also sectioned off, and that this is within her favor with Ochako's vouch-- into a body that is the makeup of 8 other individuals, the ninth being her as its base. Took inspo from the pokemon ninetails lore that nine powerful beings combined themselves and their power to conceive the ninetails pokemon.
ALSO, not even a spoiler, just a REALLY cool thing I think that I thought up: Toga has an auxiliary liver of sorts that functions like a heart. See, it didn't make sense to me that Twice's clones were able to donate and keep the blood donated from becoming mush after they, the clones, do, as Toga would be dead if so. SO, I made girly here special with a mutation that comes in the form of an extra organ that assimilates foreign blood into her specific type of blood, because she herself cannot make her own. And the reason her blood is able to be compatible with Ochako's is because, yes, Toga was taking her form, but also because Toga's blood is able to shift and adapt in a way that I can't explain without spoiling a huge chunk of my AU.
And just to note: The fake hospital staff wanted her awakened quirk because, hey, Nomus were some hot shit trend, so why not remake AFO as one.
Oh, and she suffers a lot for being my favorite character. Half the individuals used to remake her are her found family. And children, unfortunately, because I wanted to use the random-ass canon lore drop that quirks in every new generation are getting unbearably stronger. Eri type shit

[busting down the door] AND ANOTHER THING.
the government's experiments have all been geared towards forcing Monoma to awaken others' quirks. they are so focused on that mission, they never even stop to consider that [Copy] may actually have an awakened form of its own.
just food for thought.
-Copycat
OH MY GOSNOGNKY GOD OH MY GOS. OH MY GOD
Copycat HOW do you come up with these I'm. Dead
He awakens other powers and doesn't even awaken his own omg im
If his own quirk even awakened, would he be happy the government didn't make him do it, or would he start fearing his own power? As a kid, he resented his quirk. He finally started to like it, and then when he started his pro hero career, he started fearing it again. It's a self-destructive loop nobody can pull him out of, and it isnt even his fault. This is organized torture all for the sake of another weapon. He just wants to make people feel safe exactly like he did as a kid.
Because under all of those layers he's that exact same kid who just wants to be told he's doing okay, he didn't have the time to heal.
ANYWAY
I wonder with all the other awakenings happening if Copy could awaken itself to force these awakenings without the stress, but that doesn't make particular sense to me so moving onto my other idea. Would Copy self preserve itself and to defend Copy's quirk wielder, would it shut down?
Maybe it would malfunction or get so worn down he needs a break from it all and the government HAS to give him a break, or they find another way to break his quirk so he's only a machine to them.

oh that quirk awakening au angst,, monomas really stuck between a rock and a hard place here. Unforgiving public opinion on one side, and a government ready to take advantage of him on the other. no easy nor good way out.
anyways im gonna make it worse
because the hpsc are the ones that give out the hero licenses, theyre also the ones who can take them away. And they make sure that monoma is well aware of that fact. That in itself is bad enough, but he knows that if he doesnt do what they want, hed never be able to see his friends again. After all, contact with a wanted person is reason enough to strip them of their hero statuses as well, and hed never be able to forgive himself if he took his family friends down with him.
this kicked my ASS
you are 100% correct. the HPSC never outright threatens Monoma—they have to maintain some semblance of deniability—but they do make "suggestions." he has such a unique and potentially dangerous ability. if he isn't willing to do anything in his power to get it under control, then maybe he isn't suited for hero work after all, you know? the current restrictions might not be enough. maybe the public would be better off if his license were revoked until he can pull himself together.
and if Monoma continues to resist the HPSC's attempts to help him, then it would only be natural for them to question where his loyalties lie. after all, why wouldn’t he want to control such a powerful quirk? maybe he’s not just unsuited for hero work—maybe he’s hiding something. doesn’t he want to protect people? or is there another reason he’s unwilling to push [Copy] to its full potential? if Monoma really isn't willing to work with them, then the HPSC has no choice but to assume that it's because he has some sort of ulterior motive. and, were that the case, it would be their moral obligation to take him—and any of his closest associates—in for questioning.
(the idea that he might be labeled a villain and drag his friends down with them does a lot to keep Monoma in line.)
of course, then there's the subtler, more chilling suggestions. for example, if Monoma is struggling to awaken a quirk to save himself, the HPSC suggests that it may help to give him some more personal motivation. it would be unfortunate if someone he cared about were caught in a situation that only he could prevent, wouldn't it? surely then, Monoma would find a way to push beyond his limits and manifest the next awakening.

Full Throttle AU: Any of the Quirks are going to cause chaos when they awaken.
Smokescreen: There goes the vision for everyone within several blocks radius.
Float: Midoriya potentially launches himself into the stratosphere.
Blackwhip: We saw what it did in canon.
Fa Jin: Midoriya accidentally uses 200% and either destroys a city or launches himself several times the speed of sound in some direction.
Gearshift: Same issue as Fa Jin. At least Midoriya can potentially stop himself before anything bad happens?
The one that wouldn’t cause complete chaos is Danger Sense, and that could still cause a terrible, terrible headache.
Hey, Midoriya wanted a Quirk, right?

Course not everyone is happy. For instance, the Commission isn’t thrilled hearing that they were exposed as a placed filled with corruption (an anniversary post about the president being arrested did that) nor are some politicians or businessmen pleased with the knowledge things have really changed in regards for how society works.
People are surprised at that until a pair of twins (and we managed to bring One and Two into this AU!) in a cyber cafe manage to explain.
The current status quo of their society allows for villains to be created easily. Those with Mutant Quirks are heavily discriminated. People with Control Quirks are side eyed all the time. Same with those with highly destructive Quirks.
And it appeared that the current U.A. Hero Classes will do a good enough job that society will become less of a breeding ground for villains.
Then a video follows. An excerpt of an interview done to Dynamight, where he explains that the former commission President had promised him a higher rank, if he followed their cues to maintain the status quo the Commission favoured.
"In her words: if things continue to go this way, there'll be less villains for you to fight." The man fiddles with his wedding ring. "I'm not a nice guy, I'm rude and I have a temper. But I can see that my former classmates are doing good for society. I'm not going to ruin that just because I want to fight more villains."
(At U.A. everyone is staring wide eyed at Bakugou, who has zoned out at that reveal.)
Ah the LoV.
Spinner jumps ship and they all know where he is, but can't do anything. The one time Toga approached him, a General Course Student that was nearby tased her.
Toga is A Problem and will remain A Problem.
But what of the others?
Mr.Compress follows Spinner, because clearly the wind is changing its course. Maybe he can suggest a few ideas to help people who have family members who are criminals. And it's clear that the Phantom Thief Boy needs some more drama classes.
Shigaraki is currently dealing with several mind manipulation Quirks being disconnected and is unsure if he wants to continue. (He will continue until he's caught years later. The new Comission, aware of the fact that he was manipulated and groomed, decide to contact a Hero with a time Quirk to turn him back to the age he had when his Quirk awakened. This time when Shimura Tenko awakens and needs help, someone will extend a hand.)
(And the Stationary Trio has experience with traumatized children.)
Dabi is the one I'm struggling with. Do we make him an unrepentant asshole?? Have him scoff as he sees his brothers and sister being open about their home life and how it shaped them and how they view relationships? Or do we have him watch and realize that 'oh, it wasn't just me that got fucked over emotionally and mentally by our parents' and then deliver himself to Nedzu's doorstep?
The League still exists. It's just under new management.
YES. All of this. (Also I am so happy One and Two are included.)
I just love the idea of how society changes due to some kids going 'Hey, this is messed up' and making changes. Having Bakugou also change is so nice, because he admits to his bullshit. He wants to be better and do better. And the class sees that.
Plus, knowing he gets married kind of soothes something in Katsuki. For many reasons, he's never quite articulated his fear that he'd be alone. He doesn't like Izumi, not like that. Not how his mom wanted him to, and for a while, he kind of feared if he didn't like the 'perfect' girl for his backstory, he would be alone. Yet now he realizes he isn't going to be. It's nice. (Mitsuki was disappointed that she wouldn't have her fantasy of Inko being family, and she might have thrown a fit, but she would be horrified that her emotional reaction sparked that in her son. She needs therapy too)
ALSO, YES, ABOUT SHIGARAKI. I've explored it before, and I'll explore it again. I fucking adore this idea. Him becoming a kid again and getting the love he deserves is beautiful, and I can't stand not having it. AHHHHHH!!
Dabi is a tough one. Honestly, I vote they also deage him to like two. It's done because he also was groomed and manipulated by his father, but also because he probably has antisocial personality issues. They want to try and nip it in the bud early. Dabi, stuck between prison and being a baby, goes for it. He is given to Tensei and his partner because both of them are pro heroes, have lots of connections and can provide for him. He gets visits from his birth family, but due to concerns, they don't raise him.

cont. gojo x reader, fluff. use of my love, just reader being so in love with him. of course they kiss, this is a very soft fic, established relationship!au, intentional lowercase.
a/n. can you tell that im so lovesick for his man.
song. john legend - all of me
Tumblr media
the room was cast in a warm, inviting glow, the soft light of a dozen candles flickering like stars in the night sky. you and satoru had carved out this moment, a space for just the two of you, where the world outside was a distant memory. in this intimate haven, love hung heavy in the air, and your heart swelled with every beat in perfect harmony with his.
satoru sat beside you, his presence filling the room with a magnetic energy that drew you in like a moth to a flame. as you gazed at him, your heart couldn't help but swell with a deep, profound affection. his eyes held the universe within them, a cosmos of secrets and emotions that were yours to explore.
his smile, that mischievous, yet tender smile, was your favourite work of art. it had the power to chase away your worries, to melt your heart, and to ignite a fire of passion within you. when he laughed, it was as if a symphony of joy filled the room, and you couldn't help but be swept away by the melody.
you watched as he reached out, his fingers tracing an invisible path in the air. his voice, soft and filled with warmth, filled the room like a sweet serenade. it was a voice that could lull you to sleep or awaken the deepest desires within your heart.
every line of his face, every curve of his lips, and every spark in his eyes held a story, a story that you cherished, for you were the author of this chapter of his life. his vulnerabilities, his strengths, and his quirks were all part of the tapestry of your love.
satoru's hand found yours, fingers interlacing with a familiarity that sent shivers down your spine. the touch was electric, a connection that transcended words. in that moment, you felt like you were part of something greater, like you were two souls that had found their forever home in each other's arms.
the tenderness in his gaze was enough to make your heart skip a beat. his fingers traced delicate patterns on your hand, a silent language of affection that spoke volumes. every touch was a declaration of love, every caress an affirmation of your bond.
as you leaned in, your lips met his in a kiss that tasted like eternity. it was a kiss that spoke of a love deeper than words, a love that knew no bounds. in that kiss, you poured all your affection, all your desire, and all your dreams.
and as you pulled away, breathless and content, you whispered the words that your heart had been singing since the moment you met him. “i love you, satoru, with all of me.”
“my love.” he looked at you, his gaze unwavering, and in that moment, you knew that his love mirrored your very own. with a smile that held the promise of forever, he replied, “and i love you, with all of me too.”
no other words were needed, for your hearts spoke a language of love that transcended any language of the world. you closed your eyes and leaned in for another kiss, a sweet, tender affirmation of your love.
in the warmth of his embrace, surrounded by the warm, gentle light of the candles, you knew that you were exactly where you were meant to be, living your own love song, a melody that would play in your hearts for all eternity.

Hey, if you are still doing the au summaries, could you please do an bnha au where Izuku and aoyama are the only students in 1A who have quirks and everyone else is just pretending to have quirks to hide their respective secret ability sources
Series: Boku no Hero Academia AU Criteria: Izuku Midoriya and Yuga Aoyama are the only two members of Heroics Class 1-A to have quirks. AU title (optional): Faking It Into Making It
Yes, I am still doing this, so feel free to send me prompts, or ask questions about others that are currently out there. You can find them here.
First of all, as stated, Midoriya and Aoyama are the only two with quirks, which is strange, but the others in the class have abilities that are not quirks, but cover the niche of the quirks.
It takes Izuku about 2 days to figure out the fact that the quirks are not quirks, and he's working on figuring out the abilities of the others. Nezu knows the truth about the majority of them, and is finding this hilarious.
Everyone is paranoid about their secret being discovered, everyone. Yuga is worried about his formerly quirkless status and 'benefactor' being discovered, while Izuku is worried about One for All and breaking his bones.
There is a lot of red shoes in the class, enough to make one wonder about it being part of the school uniform. Yes, it's playing into that toe joint thing, and that only one shoe manufacturer sells in Japan for quirkless, Aoyama has different shoes from France.
Let's break down into how they fake having quirks.
Aizawa - Telepathic ability that he has trained to make the minds think they have lost their abilities for as long as he can focus.
Mina Ashido - Actual Alien Q- Princess, she is trying to avoid the throne for a few years by hiding out on this backwater planet, then again, this place has music, dancing, and memes. Tsuyu Asui (Sorry Tsu) - Escaped laboratory experiment of turning frogs into humans. She was actually a blended frog of many different species and then turned human. Tenya Iida - Cyborg Ochaco Uraraka - Self trained witch by mail correspondance, was seen making things float and now is stuck. Mashirao Ojiro - The tail was stolen from a kangaroo and grafted onto his body, he was a martial arts student before hand. Is using that training to adapt to the tail. Not sure where the tail poof came from, but enjoys it being pet by others. Denki Kaminari - Current mortal incarnation of Raijin trying to pass some time in the mortal realm before having to go back to his duties. Eijiro Kirishima - Earth Elemental trying to understand the human realm before reporting back to his people the best way to diplomatically approach them. Actually dropping the concealing magic when he hardens. Is the youngest member of the team that is probing the diplomatic options, and is to gain information on the future generations. Hoping Koji doesn't recognize him. Koji Koga - A druid who got lost, very lost. Is from a race that is part earth elemental somewhere in their lineage, hoping that Eijiro doesn't recognize him. Rikido Sato - The sugar is not needed, he was exposed to Gamma radiation, but doesn't turn green. The suit covers so much just in case. Mezo Shoji - He has a symbiote that is bound to his spine, and obeys his synapse commands. Kyoka Jiro - Benzaiten had a daughter, who is posing as the daughter of two of her devout followers to study the humans. Hanta Sero - Was meant to be an office employee version of Inspector Gadget, is getting an education. Fumikage Tokoyami - those attempts to summon demons are this Tengu trying to call for a ride home. Shoto Todoroki - Child of a frost demon and a fire demon, the 'scar' on his left side is actually the scaly skin of the first demon heritage coming through. Toru Hagakure - Fairy that drank was cursed to be human sized and trying to make the best of it. Invisible because humans (mostly) can't see magical beings like her. Katsuki Bakugou - Young reincarnation of a god of war that hasn't awakened to his other powers, has to learn to stop attacking to do so. Minoru Mineta - Gremlin offshoot. Momo Yaoyorozu - Fused with nanobots that create anything she needs with the restrictions, and she eats to provide them fuel to do so while still keeping herself alive.

longfic (+55k words and on posting) tags: pro-hero izuku midoriya, manager au, falling in love, humor read all on AO3 excerpt from chapter six: how to (try to) do a photoshoot and attend to a hero-con [excerpt w fluff, bit angst, humor; no smut]
MARIN'S POV
The event was nearing its end when we left the special screening of an All Might documentary.
Midoriya-kun, obviously, couldn’t stop talking when there—his eyes practically glowing with excitement and admiration as everything coming out of his mouth was about his mentor. At one point during the session, I asked how they met in the first place. Midoriya-kun spoke so fast, but what I got was that it had something to do with him jumping in front of a villain to save his friend Kacchan (who’s Dynamight?!), All Might taking him under his wing as a disciple, and his late-blooming quirk awakening.
Damn, Midoriya-kun had a crazy teenagehood, no doubt about that.
Someone told us to shut up—so we focused on the documentary and picked up the conversation again after the session ended.
He told me how hard it was—and I didn’t doubt it for a second. Broken bones. Always having to give his best—because everyone was already ahead of him, given how late his quirk had developed. Always having to do more because if he didn’t, it wouldn’t be enough to become the hero he wanted to be. A hero who saved everyone, no matter what, always with a smile;
“Kitagawa-san, I want to be a hero strong enough that no one would have to worry about me.” as he said at that moment too (That stuck with me. Stuck—Why?). A hero who honored his mentor’s legacy.
As he spoke, I couldn’t help but think about the enormous sense of responsibility he had with all of it: becoming the hero he always dreamed of, fighting to protect people…
Slowly, the outlines for my article started to take shape in my mind. One that wouldn’t just honor All Might’s legacy but would do justice to Deku’s. His own. As Deku.
That’s what I wanted to do—what I wanted people to know. I wanted people to experience how genuine, hardworking, sincere, and real Pro-Hero Deku was.
“Oh! And All Might was also my teacher, back at UA. He was an amazing mentor! He really was! He really took care of me—even when I didn’t deserve it. I learned a lot from him—and from Aizawa-sensei, too.” Midoriya-kun chuckled softly. He seemed to recall those days fondly. “I… I miss him. All Might. It’s been a while since we last saw each other. But we still text all the time!” He stared off into the distance, like he was reflecting for a moment before turning back to me and saying: “I… I hope I can one day be at least 1% of the hero he used to be… I—I already have my own hero path! And I’m following it, o-of course! I’m really happy with that.” He looked ahead, almost nostalgically watching a bunch of kids running around in All Might costumes, holding special trading cards in their hands. I followed his gaze. “But… to inspire people the way he did, inspire them to be the best they can be, overcoming whatever life throws at them… To always go beyond, no matter what…”
Purpose. Determination. That’s what I felt while looking at him now.
“That’s the kind of hero I’m working to be, too.”
The smile of that little girl from early came to my mind—and the gratitude shining on everyone’s faces when they saw him, whether he was stopping a villain or helping out with the simplest task possible. Even the regretful tears of today’s wrongdoers, who seemed like they’d rather die than commit another crime after hearing Deku-kun's words.
The look of admiration from that child who so kindly asked him to sign their school notebook.
“You’re already doing that. A great job. More than that, even.” I spoke softly, kindly—but not as kind as he was. That was impossible for me. I’d known that for a long time. So many smiles, so many admiring looks of ‘I want to be like you’ came to mind, all directed at him. At them. “You know that, right?”
I waited for him to blush, like he usually would. Then I’d laugh and say, ah, Deku-kun, for God’s sake, you need to get used to compliments, man!
But the blush never came.
Deku’s expression seemed to drop—and he became a little distant.
Not shy, not embarrassed—like usual. Just… distant.
“Not enough, though, Kitagawa-san.”
I frowned.
But before I could say anything, one of the kids dressed up and running wildly around Hero-Con bumped into us.
“Oh, sorry, oni-san!” Then he grabbed the hand of the kid next to him, dragging him towards a group of people gathering nearby. “Come on, Tsuki! Let’s go get a Hawks hero tattoo, hurry before they’re gone!”
“I don’t want one of that stupid parrot!” The other one looked surprisingly disgusted. “I want one of All Might! And Red Riot, 'cause he’s so manly!”
“Whatever, dude! Let’s go!”
Midoriya-kun and I watched them run off like two little rockets.
“Oh… Hero tattoo stickers… I always wanted to get one of those when I was a kid…” I heard him say softly, like he was talking to himself. A bit nostalgic, even. He blinked, realizing I was still there. “Kacchan never wanted to get one with me, though, when we were kids. Said it was stupid and useless—since they come off with water. Something about it being for dumb kids—which was funny, thinking about it now. We were kids.” He laughed.
I glanced over at the booth: kids, adults, and teens crowded around it. Some were cheering, others celebrating when they saw the tiny less-than-8cm disposable tattoo fixed on their skin. They were grinning from ear to ear. They looked happy.
I grabbed his hand energetically—I could feel the roughness of his scars, the lines they made against my fingers, the history and effort they carried.
Then I smiled.
“So, what are we waiting for?!” Practically shouting with excitement, practically shouting please, smile like that again Deku-kun, I said: “Let’s go!”
“W-w-what?!”
I was already dragging us over.
“W-wait, Kitagawa-san! W-WAIT!”
Tumblr media
Fifteen minutes later, I had a small tattoo of Fat Gum's face hidden on the side of my wrist. Midoriya-kun had one of All Might—comically flexing his muscles.
He stared at the tattoo, a bit goofy, a bit embarrassed, and a bit incredulous.
But he looked happy.
“I can’t believe we did this…!”
“Well, believe it! BELIEVE IT!” I threw my arms up in the air and flexed my muscles. I puffed out my chest—and then struck the same pose All Might was making on his tattoo. Making that face. “YOU DID IT, MIDORIYA-SHONEN! IT WAS YOUR BRAVERY, HOHO.” Then I laughed, all proud, just like All Might would. “It’s never too late to fulfill your childhood wishes, shonen.” I winked.
Midoriya-kun burst into laughter. The kind of loud, genuine laugh that’s just contagious, you know? The kind that makes you want to laugh just from being there, listening to it. His hands held his stomach, tears of laughter streaming from his eyes.
I dropped the All Might pose, grinning widely at him.
Not enough, though, Kitagawa-san.
What makes you think that? That’s what I wanted to ask him as I watched him laugh and laugh, smiling and laughing in that sincere, genuine way he always did. The way he showed it to everyone. What makes you think that, Midoriya-kun?
That’s when I realized: maybe… maybe Midoriya-kun carried more on his shoulders than he let on, more than I had imagined—must be a hero thing… like him. Like them.
Because they carried the same too. They carried the same, and I was too young to understand that back then.
But I’m not a kid anymore.
I can fight to keep others safe now, in my own way. Smiling.
And I don’t need to be a Pro-Hero to do that.
“How long did you practice that, Kitagawa-san?!”
“A month, I think?” I was about to say it was for an All Might cosplay shoot I did a few years ago, but I stayed quiet.
Midoriya-kun’s eyes practically bulged out of his head like they were gonna fall to the floor.
“Whaaaaat?! It took me years!” He sounded half-surprised, half-impressed, and half-indignant. “That’s not fair!”
“I’m a natural, pretty~” I flipped my hair, all smug. “Get over it.”
Midoriya-kun gave me the biggest side-eye in the universe.
“Hey, don’t look at me like that!” He shook his head and started walking toward the exit. I thought I saw a flash of a shy smile on his lips—and that familiar blush again. Huh? “Midoriya-kun? Midoriya-kuuuuun!”
He suddenly stopped in the middle of the path, his head lowered slightly.
“Thank you, Kitagawa-san.” His voice was soft, embarrassed—but sweet, gentle. And when he looked me in the eye, that’s exactly what I saw, too.
I broke into a smile.
“It was nothing, Midoriya-kun! Really!” I winked cheerfully at him, bouncing up to stand in front of him. “That’s what friends are for, right?”
He paused for a second.
And then there it was: that smile again.
“Yeah, it is!” And that laugh, too. “You’re right. It really is.”
“But I’m also your manager, so strike a pose so I can snap a picture of you with that super cool and not-at-all childish tattoo right in the center, please.”
“O-okay.”
“And let’s take a selfie too! Showing off our hero tattoos together! They won’t last long anyway~ We gotta capture the moment!”
