The Hulk v/s Wolverine: My Pitch
Marvel Studios is apparently working on a Hulk v. Wolverine film, and I think there is already a blueprint set for it. Since the MCU has now gotten comfortable with its R-rated films, Hulk v. Wolverine should be able to delve into some darker themes and ideas that were perhaps previously not possible.
My first thought was to think about the film in terms of Alien v. Predator, with The Hulk being our Xenomorph and Logan being the Predator.
The idea would be to have someone like Thunderbolt Ross be the focus of the film, who pits a newly discovered Wolverine against an awol Hulk. This would be an alternate timeline, as has been the case for quite a few MCU films, where Edward Norton would be the Hulk. Norton famously wanted a darker take on the Hulk which Marvel was not on board with, but that could be accommodated in a film like Hulk v. Wolverine.
This got me thinking about why either of these character would go up against the other, given that even if this was an alternate timeline, this would be the first time the audience sees them meet up. Establishing their unique history to have audiences care for the fight felt too odd for a film that had the Wolverine and the Hulk fighting in it. Then it hit me. There was another perfect blueprint for the film: Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man
The film specifically revolves around a character who is fed up with his immortality and is finding a way to off himself. My initial thought was this: An alternate timeline where the X-Men exist in the initial phases of the MCU. Phase 1 has the X-Men but from their later years. So essentially, Logan dies as The Incredible Hulk is closing out.
Thunderbolt Ross is down, but not out. Logan, however, returns to life, haunted by the memories of some horrible things that he did (perhaps a more honest adaptation of Old Man Logan's opening). This causes the character to be in a self-loathing state, ready to put himself in any situation that takes him out for good.
Ross finds him and recruits him to fight The Hulk. Logan, seeing all the damage the character can do, is happy to go after him, knowing for sure that this might be his best bet at peace.
Maybe Logan is even given a team to help him out, which could include characters like Sabertooth (who could be masterminding the whole situation). I also considered Laura to be a part of this time, which gives Logan pause for thought about the Hulk missions being his last.
Some light tracking happens, they find Banner, and he is ready to return. However, thanks to whoever the antagonist is, probably someone like The Leader, enrages Banner and unleashes the Hulk.
This has to be done by a director who can do long extended fantasy action fights. Broly vs Vegeta from Dragon Ball Super: Broly is totally something I would take inspiration from for this.
Have Logan and Banner face-off, but have Banner be sedated by whoever is with Logan. This not only enrages him, but it takes his one chance away at finding peace. This leads to a confrontation where Logan decides he doesn't want to be part of the mission anymore.
Here, is where we find Logan embroiled with whoever is pulling the strings. They unleashed the Hulk because they too want Logan dead. Why? So that they can endanger Logan's brood, who are increasingly the strongest breed of mutants. Perhaps this could be the Orphans of X. They wish to wipe out Laura, Akihiro, Sabertooth, and James...and they have found a way to manipulate the government (perhaps through some contact like Trask).
Either way, Logan realizes he has left Laura unguarded. He tracks them to see the Hulk engaging Laura in a fight, and the kid holding her own pretty well. Logan enters the fight and apologizes. and works towards taking Banner out. However, The Hulk refuses to turn back into Banner, somehow revealing that Banner is sick and dying (perhaps thanks to the sleeping agent they put on him). This was to keep Banner in Hulk form, such that his vitals and other bio matter could be harvested.
The Orphans of X see Wolverine/X-23 and the Hulk fight to a standstill, forcing the latter to transform into a dying Banner. However, Thunderbolt Ross comes to their rescue as Red Hulk, ready to finish the mission. Wolverine and Laura refuse to hand him over to Ross. Red Hulk vs Wolverine ensues. Laura works towards finding a cure for Bruce. The Hulk comes out, asks Laura to find a cure, and enters the fight.
The Hulk and Wolverine fight Red Hulj and defeat him, with Ross's superiors calling the fight off by calling the entire mission his personal vendetta. However, as Ross is taken away. Hulk says that there is no cure found. Laura finds nothing either. The Hulk says he is going to have to stay out of trouble to keep Banner alive. Logan and Laura ask if their healing factor will help. It will. They go to Rick Jones, who whips out the cure and administers it to Bruce. However, the Orphans of X get the radical idea of fusing the Wolverine and The Hulk, setting up Weapon H.
Now of course, this pitch is all over the place, but I think there is some merit in approaching this story as a standard Monster Rally flick rather than a superhero film. This is a Marvel film after all, so there will be a lot of jokes and quips, but I think setting this up with a familiar version of the characters in a separate universe might be the way to go. Edward Norton's Hulk and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine would be great.
However, the pitch that I have made is not for mainstream audiences. Marvel does that better than anybody in the game.

Everyone’s making a Scooby Doo pitch!!! I did one based off of Michael Fry’s old Irish grandpa video here but gonna expand out a bit
So my initial thing was:
Next Scooby Doo adaptation should just be old man Shaggy spinning a tale of Mystery Inc’s final mystery.
Now if we were to take the 2002 cast back, and they’re not much into the mystery hunting these days, they’re clearly aged. Fred and Daphne have kids now, with Fred being a stay at home dad and the occasional modelling gig, and Daphne running a successful martial arts studio. Velma’s a professor, potentially with a wife or partner. Shaggy is helping run his parents business empire. Scooby is an old old dog now.
But strange things are happening and old Fred’s getting the mystery tingles again. And for once Shaggy is the first to volunteer to join since he’s been chafing at the business life he’s immersed in. Old Scooby isn’t quite up to running around but they load him up in the mystery machine which Fred had been using as a minivan for his kids. The kids obvi either come along or make cameos.
Velma had been exploring anomalies in the earth’s movement or something science related and contacts Fred first. Daphne has to fly in from another state where she’d been doing some tv promos.
There has to be a moment where Fred is like “I’m not as fast as I used to be” “we all aren’t exactly in our prime anymore” gasps Shaggy during a classic chase scene and Daphne flies in abruptly and kicks ass saying “speak for yourself!”
The same happy-go-lucky characters. The same best friends. Having a wonderful time. Some distance but still lots of love between them. Fred and Daphne’s kids know them all as Uncle Shaggy and Aunty Velma and Dooby-Doo.
Ultimately whatever the mystery is, they solve it. Scooby is just happy to watch the humans he loves the most have fun all together.
Cut back to old Shaggy. Talking about Scooby’s final moments. How the whole gang turned up to be with him as he said goodbye to his best friend.
And it’s sad. But it’s coming of age and moving on and growing up. And it’s remembering the best of your youth. And you pan out from his house and there’s the mystery van. Rusted and old but there. And then there’s a knock at the door.
“Oh that must be the gang with lunch. Put on a cuppa will ye?”
Final shot is all the gang, much much older, but sitting and laughing and reminiscing about the old times. With Scooby’s photo up on the mantle next to a shot of them all together when they were teenagers.

My pitch for a Zelda Game - Part 1
A few hours before I wrote this sentence, I read the ‘Legend of Zelda: Clockwork Empire' by Dresden Codak. Now I give you my pitch for a game.
Disclaimer: I have only played Breath of the Wild and a little bit of Ocarina of Time (and OOT was a few years ago, mind). Plus, I’m not the biggest expert on Zelda lore (I know a little bit but that’s it) so bear with me if you please. Also, i don't own BOTW, this is just ideas.
To my knowledge, a Zelda game is always in a mediaeval setting. There’s nothing wrong with that, but why not fast-forward a little? How far, you ask? Not as far as the 21st century. I’m talking about the Early Modern period, something like the late 1700s-early 1800s mixed with the mediaeval vibe and setting we are so used to.
We open with a cutscene. A slow look around Zelda’s room )similar to the start of Spider-man PS4) at Hyrule Castle. Pictures and paintings of her father, her mother and her nerdy interests. Scientific Journals, stuff like that.
Suddenly, King Rhoam is shaking her to wake up. He tells her that the soldiers of the Ganon Empire (who they have been at war with) are inside the walls and that she must leave at once. She protests, but he insists.
The first part of the gameplay tutorial begins. Rhoam gives her a dagger and tells her to run. Zelda is at first accompanied by guards who are immediately cut down by soldiers who look a lot like this but with different colours, no fancy wigs maybe a bit more armour and perhaps a smidge of dark magic empowerment:
If the player tries to fight the highly trained soldiers while playing as a fairly trained (I mean, Zelda is a Princess. She’s got to have had at least a little training, but still) 17 and ½ year-old wearing a nightdress who doesn’t get out much, they will die, because guns. As they run to the stables, they see a soldier ruthlessly shoot a pleading child. This is where the melee fighting tutorial begins.
Yeah, the tone is pretty heavy to start with.
The stable master runs up, saying ‘That poor boy! Princess, you must run!’ then they give brief instructions on how to ride a horse (which is pretty much the same as BOTW). The player can go back for instructions at any time.
As they ride out, the camera shifts to see the rest of the castle on fire and Rhoam fighting for his life.
With little choice, Zelda rides away into the nearby Kokori forest.
CUTSCENE TIME!!
Zelda gets off her horse and takes a breather to find that some Bokoblins are heading towards her.
She draws her knife and attempts to fight back, but one of them wacks her with its bat and knocks her to the floor. After a quick shot of her seeing double, she puts up her hand to protect herself and suddenly a golden light glows from it, before sputtering and promptly dying.
She notices some arrows being fried at the creatures before everything turns black and her head hits the ground.
She wakes up in circular, wooden room. She exits the curtain door to finds herself in a Kokori City, a large village of tree-homes, walkways and bridges.
She’s told by a guard waiting outside the hut to go to Elder’s hut, which is basically the largest building. The Village Elders grill her on what happened (perhaps here we have the opportunity to use some elements from a Telltale game in her replies that affect the game later).
The conversation between the Elders about what to do quickly descends into petty bickering (because politicians).
Suddenly, Link appears behind her, startling Zelda. More telltale-game dialogue choice ensues, to every question Link either doesn’t say much or says nothing at all (I know not speaking is pretty much part of his character but he can canonically talk so let’s just make it so he doesn’t talk that much?) and then says ‘Come’.
Link’s basically like ‘I believe you. Ganondorf’s Army will soon take over the rest of the Kingdom. He must be stopped, but the Elders are mindless fools.’ He says that he will try and sway them, proceeding to refuse to elaborate and leave.
Then in comes Saria, who introduces herself as a childhood friend of link. She apologises for his refusal to elaborate, as he doesn’t talk much. She explains that she and Link rescued Zelda from the bokoblins and that golden light was magic. She advises her to head to the Sheikah to learn magic, as they were the last to be able to use magic. She leads Zelda to the training area and teaches her the basics of combat (more tutorial time) before giving Zelda a map of some of Hyrule (with the location on in the form of an ‘X’. can’t go wrong with the classics), a recipe book, a bow, some arrows and a Kokori sword. She then wishes her on her way, telling her she needs to convince the people of the village.
The player can now take the opportunity to explore the village. It’s shops, training area and stuff like that.
I’ll leave the story there for now. The gameplay is basically the same as BOTW (like the controls, combat, and living off the land) apart from a few major differences (magic instead of a Sheikah slate, and the ‘Sheikah Slate Ability Select Button’ can later be used to select a spell). Zelda can use weapons, having had some training.
Guns (flintlock muskets) can be picked up and used. They do massive amounts of damage but they take ages to reload and possibly have a chance to misfire. You can also switch to stabby mode or shooty mode. And different types of handheld bladed weapons like swords have different fighting styles (cutlass, rapier, broadsword, etc). Plus, there is also the idea for leading armies or small platoons of troops (which I may elaborate on in the next one).
A quick note: Guardians are buried all around the kingdom (and in some towns and villages are used as local decorations). Does this mean something?
Finally, I would like to point out the books given to Zelda are in the ‘Books’ section of your inventory. Something that’s in it from the start is ‘Zelda’s journal’. It essentially details the last few months. It goes like:
‘Father got me some books today. A brand-new thesis on why the Sheikah went into hiding. I heard some of the war Generals say that some far-off Empire has suddenly invaded our neighbours.’
A couple days later ‘The Invaders arrived at our borders. Fleeing refugees say they have advanced weaponry, and powerful magicians. Father has sent diplomats and some of the army to try and resolve this, but I worry - most of the army is stretched out across the kingdom, fighting monsters like Bokoblins.’
‘The diplomats have returned - or at least, their heads have. It’s war.’
‘Father’s already greying hair has turned completely white. The Generals say that the troops are terrified of the enemy’s magic, and the weapons they use (which are apparently called ‘guns’). If only the Sheikah hadn’t taken their secrets after the magic purge. Then we might stand a better chance. Still, we’ll beat them… right?’
‘The enemy is already at our gates after only three months. Father would have sent me away sooner, but I have been gravely ill until yesterday. Our castle is protected by ancient enchantments, but many fear that isn’t enough. Even I fear we may lose.’
I hope you all enjoyed this! I plan to do more of these (with more research done and actual planning). This is all just a bunch of ideas mashed together in a few hours. Farewell!

Mr Freeze: The Man Who Lost Everything
Buckle Up everyone because I'm obsessed with the Snowman and am about to make it everyone's problem. Here's my pitch for reinventing Mr Freeze with his own mini-series.
Alright, first hurdle to jump is that I *hate* the New 52 retcon that Nora was never his wife. It's dumb and it ruins everything that makes Freeze great. I don't know exactly what Rebirth did but I'm sure it, or one of the other yearly universe ruining events was catastrophic enough to undo that stupid, stupid retcon.
So here we go! Long start up with the actual pitch a little ways down.
Mr Freeze was reinvented by Batman: The Animated Series with a new tragic origin that made the character everything he's become today. But the one problem with the character is his story is quite literally, frozen. Every appearance he is trying to cure his beloved Nora and every time he fails. Something has to change, and Nora finally being cured / awoken has already been explored beautifully in both the Adventures Continues & The Arkham Games. So we have to go in the other direction:
Out in the arctic, Victor works against the clock - freezing Nora slowed down her condition, it didn't stop it. He has one last chance, he races to finish the formula that will save Nora. He has but moments to save her.
He fails.
The Serum wasn't ready in time. He missed it, he didn't even get to say goodbye. Nora Fries has passed on, and Victor failed. He's broken, of course. He was so desperate to save her he didn't even see her go.
And then Batman arrives. The Dark Knight, perusing the hijacked Research Vessel. He finds it in the middle of a blizzard. Victor, kneeling in the center of it. His rage fueling the storm. But Batman dosen't stop him, he dosen't throw a batarang, he dosen't even raise his voice.
He offers Victor his hand. He knows what it's like to lose your entire world and dosen't want Victor to suffer alone. He couldn't ever get through to Victor when he was blinded by desperation, but now - maybe grief can bring clarity.
Later, back in Gotham - Police get a report that the villainous Mr Freeze has been spotted walking into a store on 34th and 12th. They arrive only to see a slightly surprised Florist with a $20 note on her counter. Elsewhere, Victor apologizes for being late as he lays flowers down on Nora's grave.
Victor has new purpose. He couldn't save Nora, but she isn't the only one to suffer her disease. He will finish the cure, and in his mission he will come to blows with the Company that ruined his life in the first place: GothCorp.
My Comic follows Mr Freeze re-imagined as an Anti-Hero hellbent on war with GothCorp, the corporation that turned Freeze into the cold-hearted Doctor in the first place and stole key parts of his research, research that he wants back. With a few new allies Freeze will do whatever it takes to complete his research, spending the rest of his days doing everything he can to leave a good Legacy on the world
For Nora.
TLDR: When he fails to save Nora, Mr Freeze is given a chance by Batman to honour her legacy. He turns his life around and is reborn an anti-hero with his sights set on reclaiming his stolen research from GothCorp so that he can finish his cure for the disease that plauged Nora.
And now some additional ideas:
Victor enlists the help of a desperate Gotham University student to drive his mobile laboratory and do some of the less dangerous work that he cannot do due to his inability to blend in. In trade he compensates them and helps with their degree.
Victor and Red Hood get along splendidly - and they both operate under Batman's rules that they're allowed to operate in Gotham as long as they do not kill.
The other villains didn't respect Victor as a threat until he reminds them how dangerous he can really be. He makes sure they know to stay out of his way upon his return.
GothCorp want to use Victor's cryo-tech to permentantly suspend patients of 'incurable' diseases as a way to wring money out of the families of the patients. The joys of American Healthcare.

Funny things I found out playing with language setting in Netflix while looking episode 15:
Chilchuck's scream sounds HAUNTED in brazilian portuguese. Give it a try if you can.
(You can hear it here)
In spanish dub, Senshi says: "tocó mis senos de hombre", which means "he touched my man boobs" in Spanish. And I think that's the best dub line one so far.
#i love replaying certain scenes (usually screams) to see how they nailed it in other dubs#ive done it with Chilchuck & Mickbell screams because they're the funniest ones#give it a shot if you can#its really funny to hear certain character voices in other languages#for example. brazilian portuguesse gave both mickbell and chilchuck un-childlike voices (in japaneese both sound like little childs)#and they reused Chilchuck's japaneese screams for most of the other languages because he is so high-pitched and full of terror that it work#dungeon meshi#chilchuck#chilchuck tims#dunmeshi#delicious in dungeon#senshi#senshi of izganda#senshi dungeon meshi#idk how do you people screen record the episodes#if i knew how to i would put the shots here#my shit#thanks to the one that made the clip on Chil's scream im in love here <3

It’s always “evil Superman!!!!” this, or “villain justice league!!!” that.
I want an AU of villain! Bruce who’s absolutely dog-shit at being evil.
Firstly: The worst thing he can think of doing is not donating to animal shelters or charities . immediately feels so guilty he throws up.
Secondly: The second a child cries because of him, he’d freeze up. Stand like a statue, unmoving and petrified. No more evil, but just today.
He ends up helping the city by accident more often than not, and to his immortal disappointment, Gotham loves both the Bat and Bruce Wayne.
“alfred come look at my evil plan”
“Yes, sir, “ Alfred is very indulgent. He does his best to pretend it’s actually good. “ ‘Don’t say please to the barista’. Getting bold, are we?”
EVERYTIME He and Clark meet and Bruce monologues about pulverizing him to dust, Clark (and the League) looks at him like this:
“I can make him worse,” GOOD FOR YOU!!! Clark can make him into his malewife and adopt his 7 evil sidekicks who actually know how to villain. Especially the little one.
#in my head Bruce needs a little sidekick Jason who calls him BOSSS in his high pitched voice#bruce wayne#clark kent#villain! batman au#batman#dc#dc comics#superbat#text

My pitch on a Zelda game part 2
My pitch on a Zelda game - part 2
I’m gonna cut to the chase and start on the story.
Also quick disclaimer I haven’t seen any tears of the kingdom footage because I want to play it myself and I’m just waiting rn.
Essentially, The player has the option to explore Kokori village. They can do quests for rupees and buy stuff from the shops (meat, fruit, hairdressers and clothing which looks somewhat like the green tunic Link wears so often).
Now, wearing either the palace dress or the Kokori stuff, the player takes an alternate path out of the forest and then is out in the open plains. There is a cottage nearby, and there a family hails you, asking where you are going. Here you have the option to say where you are going, or just say ‘i’m just travelling’. The family asks if you have food, and go like ‘No? You’ll just forage? Are you telling me you don’t know how to cook!?’ and then insist on teaching you.
Here you can travel, and fight bokoblins and patrols of Ganon empire soldiers. Zelda soon reaches the ruins, but there’s a small problem - a river too wide to cross. You could try going around, but there are massive amounts of Empire soldiers about an in-game mile left and right of you, so that’s a no-go. Fortunately, there is a ferrywoman who offers to take you over. However, when you’re halfway across there’s a not-so-great surprise:
She attempts to attack you, but you beat her because obviously. You can then interrogate the yiga clan member, who attempts to teleport out of the boat… but reappears over the water and drowns.
You then come across the ruins, and not much is left. At all. Heck, it’s practically just a quarry with a couple of house walls standing. However, there’s an old statue… but it’s been polished. Why would it be polished when everything else is in ruins? There’s a riddle on the base of it, which the player can guess the answer to. A staircase leading downwards opens up.
As you reach the bottom, you see a familiar face to the players. Who, you ask?
Yep. Paya. She’s relaxing by a small pond. When you go up to her, she wakes up, startled and goes all like “EEP! AN INTRUDER!! You’re with the yiga, aren’t you? Well, you won’t get past me!”
Boss battle time! Yep, this shy wholesome person is our first boss. And she can do some magic.
Her attacks are as follows -
Fireball - she basically just fires a bunch of fireballs at your with fiery courage.
And that’s it.
Eventually, her magic will need to recharge, and that’s when you attack. Repeat, repeat, etc.
Defeated, Paya says that you can do whatever you want with her, but not to hurt the rest of the Sheikah. Zelda says that she isn’t there to hurt anyone, and explains why she’s here. Paya (apologizing every five seconds) then leads Zelda to her grandmother Impa, who’s the tribe elder. Zelda tells Impa what happened, and Impa says that she has to prepare the tribe for war. She tells Zelda that the Sheikah tribe went into hiding over a hundred years ago because everyone kept trying to destroy them out of fear of their magic. Impa tells Zelda that there are different kinds of magic: Kōgeki (attack) magic, Maindo (mind) magic and Hogo (protection) magic and that the three masters of each one are scattered around Hyrule. Zelda and Paya must learn that magic to be able to save the kingdom.
Now that part of the story’s over, let me tell you some in-lore stuff. In this game, (which is explained by Paya after the fight) the Yiga clan and the kings that came before Rhoam decimated the Sheikah a hundred years ago and sent them into hiding. This has long been a mark of shame on the Royal family.
There’s a thing that shows the time in-game. For example, at one o’clock in the morning in each occupied village, a town cryer under the Empire’s payroll will state stuff like news laws and why Emperor Ganon is the best ruler ever.
I’ll leave it at that. Heart this!
