It is kinda funny seeing people talk about Seungmin lately because he definitely has gotten more bold and confident for sure. He's also just getting opportunities to be perceived as an individual on his own as well for the first time in a while but it's still jarring to see people be like Aw he was always such a quiet goodie two shoes little nerd and it's like...... he was the one to leave and seek out his own vocal coach and blatantly talk about it, which of course lead to I.N and Lee Know also doing the same, he was the one to go on bubble and tell off sasaengs who used to camp outside their old dorm for invading members privacy but also because it effected other residents and staff at the complex, something that i'm certain upper management wouldnt have been happy about, and he wasn't curt or nice about it either. like he's never actually been a wallflower, he's always had a pretty strong backbone and seems to stick to his principals, its not really new.

We need to talk about the EMH fandom

tldr; long rant on how the emh fandom has a lot of not-so great people in it. Also overlaps with the tribetwelve fandom hence the tags

Recently, being in this fandom, I’ve been seeing a massive influx of discourse over nazis and nazi art. Artists have been putting hate symbols in their HABIT art and EMH art in general. specifically the drawing of one specific artist.

However, I’d like to remind many that this has been going on for a while with many different people in the fandom. So many people in the EMH fandom have admitted to being neo-nazis, and have obsessed over the part of Tribetwelve where HABIT admits he worked with them (which, by the way, was pretty much retconned.) Many say they’ve seen fans of it who have Nazi symbols on their profile, and I’ll admit I’ve seen it as well. Many who do this also do not take it seriously, acting like the Nazis and their symbolism are just some funny cute thing that they can identify with or spread around. In relation to that, users have gotten harassed off servers for even having HABIT or Evan pfps, one stating they were repeatedly called a nazi and people lying and saying their pfp was art by Fvcksnuff, a problematic artist in the fandom. The user was eventually banned after being ridiculed, just for their profile picture being a character. The funny thing is, it wasn’t even HABIT as their profile, it was art of Evan.

Another thing is the romanticism of necrophilia, from specific people headcanoning HABIT as a necrophile and people in the fandom saying they’ve been getting anons asking what they think of the headcanon. The fandom has had a very long history of paraphilia romanticism (necrophilia and zoophilia, mainly), such as the disrespect towards the boundaries of the literal creators and actors, one of them who has specifically stated they DO NOT want rape fanfics of them on ao3. Many people fandom ignore these boundaries, by the way.

Lastly, in relation to that, there’s the sexualization of the actors, which they’ve admitted makes them very uncomfortable, specifically Evan. Please stop sexualizing HABIT or Evan. They may be characters, but a real person plays said characters. Many have acknowledged this and ignored it completely, especially people on Pinterest or tiktok. One of my mutuals has been one to witness and experience this, getting increasingly sexual and creepy comments on his HABIT pins. He’s told people to stop, but people didn’t listen and continued to make him uncomfortable. He admitted that it got so bad he started turning off all comments on his posts since he didn’t want to see those comments anymore. this has also happened on tiktok, where if you go into the comments of any video about habit, they will be overly sexual and explicit, even if the topic of the video isnt inherently sexual.

It’s not just a vocal minority. This fandom has a LOT of awful people just hiding around in it.

The fandom recently has been a dumpster fire of discourse upon discourse, and it’s disheartening to see. Harassment, threats, and general discord. II’d like to say that instead of arguing and arguing, we drive the people who do this out of the fandom. If you want a better community in this fanbase, you need to do something to MAKE it better.

i stopped giving a shit or having any faith that val and angels dynamic would ever be subtle or well written when the playbill stated that the VERY FIRST porno angel starred in was called.. "my cousin and me." maybe if the writing wasnt so obsessed with making sex jokes that almost always portray sex as a gross thing, we could actually explore the "subtley" vals voice actor claims their relationship has or had, by having it slowly get worse over time, going from having the pornos be something that val and angel bond over at the start of them meeting, due to them both being in hell for awhile and having sexual experience in lots of different ways, on top of it being a point of sexual tension that makes their relationship more, "exciting," THEN eventually devolve into nasty shit angel doesnt want to do, but has no choice but to do, since hes under contract. (even the pilot doesnt really have this problem, at least angel starring in a film called, "well, okay!" doesnt make a joke at the expense of his suffering like the majority of HH's jokes do in the series.) but no. isnt incest in pornos so funny? isnt it so funny that val is making angel pretend to be into incest? isnt it so fucking funny that val wants angel to star in a "donkey show" and has him raped on screen for two hours straight, (which is canon as stated in the "pure boy" script that someone somehow managed to translate from episode 4,) and that val waterboards angel as a kink? isnt that funny, guys? why arent you laughing yet? but also - theyre super duper deep, actually! buy the 300 dollar print first, and then wait for the story to ruin i mean explore their past later! eventually!

They did Angel Dust dirty in the playbill. Imagine being a new Angel Dust fan, wanting to learn more about him and all the information you see is about Valentino’s creepy pornos about incest and nothing else. 💀🏃‍♂️I don’t blame you for not caring anymore about it.

The cool aspect part about Valentino and Angel’s dynamic, you can imagine anything and how they met. Like you mentioned, Anon, the two bonding over their sexual orientation/experience then it gets worse over time. Another example is Valentino potentially meeting Angel Dust at a club where he is wearing drag. Valentino being the first to see Angel Dust’s potential and they hit off smoothly.

But at same time, I wouldn’t be surprised if Vivziepop straight up stole again from a different comic Raph did regarding Valentino and Angel Dust.

Reviewing the ENTIRE Cars Franchise: Planes 2: Fire and Rescue

Well that was better then i remembered.

There are barely any movies that have a sequel that is actually ten times better, but Planes 2: Fire and Rescue is one of those movies.

(warning: spoilers. Following text is just my opinion.)

It revolves around Dusty, our main racer, discovering his gearbox is kaput, so he can only fly at a certain speed otherwise he crashes, so racing is not possible anymore. In attempt to help Mayday out, he decides to train with a team of firefighter Heli's, and he quickly gets a chance to prove himself when a massive forest fire bursts out, threatening many lives.

Dusty (Planes: Fire and Rescue)

I liked that this movie took a complete different direction. As we know Planes 1 isnt the most original movie, so i liked the direction this movie took, how it decided to show another job and its dangers. I like it when sequels do this, when they stand out, make another story. Thats nice.

Me & Planes... How well do we go?

The first time i ever watched Planes i felt SUPER neutral about it. I didnt quite know how to rate it. Both movies were not that memorable, but i have to point out, after watching F&R 5 years ago, i forgot like 99% of the movie, except for one particular scene.

"My gearbox is busted!"

For some reason, this scene, its acting especially, stuck with me. And after installing Tumblr, diving deep in the Cars fandom and hearing on this movie again, this particular scene was the first thing i remembered. About the acting, it was the Dutch version, my first time watching Planes was on Disney+, and Dusty's Dutch voice in particular i never really forgot. This scene was my only clear memory of this movie. Gotta say, the og English version does NOT disappoint. Dane Cook is AMAZING as Dusty. And to clear up, i couldnt find the dutch dub anywhere and i aint buying a movie on YT for €15.99.

Talking about Blade...

Dusty and Blade. (Planes: Fire and Rescue)

Honestly: Blade is pretty badass. I liked the scenes with him. He's good at his job, he's loyal, he's intelligent... Blade is a good dude. Turns out he was an actor and one of his co - actors died on set during a stunt scene. Thats kinda deep.

I like this backstory on him but its still feels like this movie tries to be Cars at certain points. That doesnt change the fact that its MASSIVE improvement from the first movie, wich just copied Cars blatantly. This movie doesnt blatantly copy, it takes aspects and makes it into something else. Again, its its own thing. I liked that.

My biggest problem with this movie is this running gag where Dipper has a crush on Dusty, who is clearly not comfortable with this, and i just didnt really like it. However there was this one scene, and despite that i know how creepy it is, it was still pretty funny.

I don't get this. Is it supposed to be funny? Because in my opinion Dipper continuously invading Dusty's personal space and straight up obsessing over him is kind of weird. Dusty is not comfortable, he doesnt like this attention, where did my niece get that from 😭😭

I hope i'm not taking this kids movie too seriously. Either way, lesson of the day: men in fact have feelings too ✌️good job at the writing, Disney.

The animation is wonderful 💕

AND THE VOICE ACTING. I would love to become a voice actor one day, js. In Planes, the actors do an AMAZING job. All the emotions are depicted so well, especially Dusty's and Blade's. I love it when you can hear actors are enjoying their job, here you can hear it too.

Overall thoughts?

Planes: Fire & Rescue, while to me not the most memorable movie, is still better then the first movie for sure. It has stunning animation, the actors do an incredible job and the movie really explores the direction its taking. I think its definitely a massive improvement. 8/10, would watch it again. Alright, thats it.

miaomiao blaming herself for her dads death is so so sad. it must be a bit difficult at this moment to believe that the man next to her is some version of her father while thinking of her real one, and it is a little jarring to hear them both talk about him as some Other Person, instead of "no, i wouldnt have blamed you, dear," but the feeling is there all the same. at the end of the day, that is like her dad, but shes definitely trying to detach a little bit because its Not, and goes as far as calling him "old lin" to create a boundary for herself, i imagine. otherwise, she would absolutely get too attached, and thats why she also warns him if she suddenly goes back to being mean she hopes he isnt upset.

from the moment i first watched this moment, i knew ziqi had some connection to the real world. i was like, why does he care so much about this? he cares a lot. this is kinda sus. and after the Go game they definitely make it more obvious.

i wonder whats going on in his head when he asks this tho? is he thinking that she is some type of demon who can time/universe travel or something? because hes linking that to her being weird/sneaky, and i cant imagine how else he would make it make sense in his head given the universe.

OTAAAAY i think my number one amy headcanon of forever is that hes transmasc. i just think the "crush" on sonic isnt exactly that and hes gonna figure that out in a few years. bonus funny aspect of this idea: i think if he went on t after his voice dropped he would sound a lot like sonic. which scares Everyone.

for silver, i dont know how much this is a headcanon and how much its Interpretation of the Text, but ! hes autistic. i just see it in my minds eye. unfortunately i cant explain it any better than "look at him."

for shadow, thats a hard one. im so obsessed with thinking about him in terms of canon that its hard to come up with headcanons, if that makes any sense. uhhh i think hes bisexual for what thats worth but also ! his interest in guns is almost entirely theoretical. but he will choose violence sometimes.

let me tell you a very funny (slightly embarrassing) story that happened last week!!

so i was helping the english department at my school clean out their big and very outdated literature study books bc im best friends with all of them duh

anyway . im casually oohing and aahing at every book i see and stealing whatever poetry book i can find that they dont want anymore

until i come across this small pocketsized book! its teal and the spine is cracked and from afar the big S on the cover and the teal colour makes it look like fucking. Shrek. so naturally i was like ???? A SHREK PLAY???

and so i picked it up bc a gal got curious!! and i look closer and it turns out to be Henry IV part 1! and bc i cant keep my big mouth shut i yelled "OH M GOD ISNT THIS THE TOM HIDDLESTON PLAY???" and the entire office went. Quiet.

And they all turned to look at me. mind you these are women who ARE in Tom's age range so they pretty much grew up with his work!!! and ofc they KNOW him its tom hiddleston. and one of them was like " the??? the tom hiddleston play??" and trying to save my dignity (not that im embarrassed but also kind of) i was like yeah ? didnt tom hiddleston play in this?? to try and keep myself casual like no what im not an obsessed fan hello im So Normal about him!! i could feel my face burst into fucking flames bc how do i explain to these women that im obsessed with his work while they look at me like they know I read fanfiction (like THEY DONT. IK THIS ISNT GOING TO HAPPEN BUT I HAD SUCH A GOOD THOUGHT! Imagine this whole book was actually a movie that they were filming. So gojo, choso, sukuna, the reader and everyone else are just actors. So like when the book ends, it’s interrupted by a “Cut!” and then everybody js breaks character and start telling eachother great work and congratulating everyone for finally finishing this movie. And gojo and the reader are actually close friends so while everyone’s busy cleaning up and getting ready to go home, he asks her if she could get him his bag from his dressing room. She says sure and makes her way there. She enters the room and spots his bag, while picking it up, a book falls out. Originally, she was going to grab it and js place it back inside but her curiosity gets the best of her and she opens it. She realizes its a journal and while she’s skimming through it, shes giggling to herself at the first silly pages her best friend had written. But then she gets to a rather odd page. Covering the whole sheet, leaving no spaces of white whatsoever, is her name. Just her name. Over and over again. And it went on for atleast 4 pages. After turning the fourth page, she finds something very disturbing. The funny and silly man you knew as your good friend had written about how obsessed he was with you. He wrote that he would look forward to seeing you everyday, obsessed with your scent, hair, eyes, legs, hands, mouth, etc. Basically every single part of you. While you kept reading it, it js kept getting weirder and weirder. When you turned the page, there was hair taped to the book. YOUR hair. SEVERAL strands. Your face twisted in disgust and your hand flew to your mouth. There was more writing on the next page and smth disturbing had caught your eye at the end of the entry. “If you think about it, I really don’t have to do much acting for this role. Part of it is being an obsessive freak who would do anything for the woman he loves. And that’s exactly me. Can you really blame me? Look at her. Shes so pretty. Especially when she’s sleeping. But lately she’s been getting a little too close to Choso..i really don’t like that. But it’s fine! same i find it sooo interesting. I think it also ties into her sort of gold cage motif of the fact that shes been building and cultivating this audience since she was 13 but the problem is she isnt 13 anymore. That level of emotional connection and investment just isnt possible on a safety and numbers level, like we are never getting back secret sessions (which were insane and probably shouldnt have existed in the first place) or taylor having a public easy access two way interaction social media account (jesus could you imagine) but she built the fanbase on the early days of social media as a child. She was doing canny marketing of course but she also has admitted to being a lonely kid and kind of treated swifties as a friend group in itself. She would keep up with us through social media and invite us over her house to check out her new music and send us christmas presents and comment on our instagrams and for all the cynical calculations involved there was a real earnestness and vulnerability naturally involved in that that leads to a SUPER complicated and unique fan experience and relationship compared to other stars of her caliber. Swifties are famously strange and intense but one thing that people outside of that circle dont totally understand is that it feeds off of taylors extremely strange and intense energies. I remember when ttpd and specifically bdilh dropped and the backlash came with it, there was a few posts talking about how taylor would communicate and treat fans back in the red era, spending hours and hours after shows to meet hundreds of fans, staying in close contact with us and constantly communicating and almost obsessively showing her love and how that taylor would hate current taylor and i remember reading that and thinking, that 23 year old taylor is the reason we have 34 year old taylor having a complete meltdown as fan and public pressure reached its true boiling point with her dating a shitty guy in her friend group who she had a nothing situationship with 10 years earlier that she rewrote and romanticized in her head to cope with her dissolving ltr and as soon as she even considered launching him everyone had dug up every possible piece of dirt that was previously ignored and demanded she break up with him on the spot.

I really don't hold much anger towards fans who understandably hated and felt betrayed by taylor dating such an obviously shitty person with a past of racist edgelord "jokes" and a fetish for getting people mad at him, but i also cant imagine being taylor swift and trying to go through my "we're in love and its meant to be" rebound that is usually only known and embarrassing to a small group of friends and having it projected to the entire world while im fully having a massive mental breakdown while on the most important tour of my career and the culmination of my entire body of work up to that point and i have already had years of a famously volatile and intense fandom as well as only being a few years out of my controlling contract etc etc etc i would also date a guy specifically to piss off the people important to me and write a song about how we're soooo in love just to spite everyone. also "im having his baby...no im not but you should see your faces!" is one of the funniest things shes ever said. and that’s such a perfect contrast to gojo, too, because gojo’s capacity for love is the most human thing abt him + his greatest weakness, while sukuna’s capacity for love is the most inhuman thing abt him + his greatest strenght. he thrives off his isolation, and from it stems his love. or what he views as love. idk but i like it im obsessed its right up my alley !!
