How would someone like Miko, Ei, and other high ranking officers react to an S/O with a long list of titles like Settra the Imperishable, King of Kings,-
(Genshin Impact) Yae, Ei, Sara, Kokomi, Furina, Jean, and Xianyun's S/O with an absurdly long list of titles
I've been building and painting a lot of Bretonnians lately, so dear readers, you will now become aggressively French.
Tumblr media
By the Archons above, nothing was worse to Yae than having to be so serious during a ceremony,
Of all the things she could be doing, literally anything would be better than having to listen to some stuffy noble read their title.
So it was by chance S/O had to be present. She recognized their title was of Fontaine descent.
'The Red Hand of Brionne', 'The Red Duke', Something something Red.
...Wait, their titles were still being read off?!
(Yae) "My goodness, just how many titles with the color red can one have?"
Yae internally sighed as the list kept going. And going. And going.
All the while S/O stood perfectly still and respectful, not even batting an eye at the list of titles that probably would stretch from the top of the shrine all the way to the bottom.
Yae's head looks up to the sky momentarily, wondering how of all the people in the world she could have as a lover, it was the one who had to bore her to tears.
No doubt there were interesting stories of how the titles came to be, but this is not the way she wanted to find out.
And here Yae thought Ei had a lot of names to go by...
(Yae) "...Why is it still going?!"
Tumblr media
Ei doesn't react too much at the titles being read off for S/O's form of address at first.
She had to deal with similar situations of people reading off her own titles, so it was only proper etiquette.
"Water-Knight," "The Holder of Secrets", "Keeper of the Way"
(Ei) "...Hm."
It was only now she noticed that the list actually exceeded her own titles.
Which surprised her more than anything.
As far as she knew, S/O was just a mortal. How many feats did they achieve in Fontaine during their short life?
She made a note to ask later, but now the list was starting to become a bit absurd.
...Maybe she should implement a law where only the most notable of titles are read off, because they would actually be here for eternity if this continued.
Tumblr media
Sara gets jealous fast.
Not because S/O has more titles than her, she couldn't care less about that.
What really irked her, was they had the gall to own more titles than Her Excellency, the Almighty Narukami Ogosho!
Sara masks her annoyance well as she keeps reading off the list.
Line after line, name after name.
...Okay, who the hell even gave her this list, this was way too many!
(Sara) Leader of battles...? What kind of title even is that?!
She made that comment in her head as she droned on with the names.
Tumblr media
With every single title read off, Kokomi's energy drained.
She loved her S/O dearly, but by the Archons, how the heck did they get that many titles while living in Fontaine?!
(Gorou) "Lionheart, The Lionhearted, High Paladin of the Breton Court-!"
As far as she was aware, there wasn't even any Knight Houses like this in Fontaine!
...Then again, this was Fontaine she was talking about. They did have their theatres.
Kokomi doesn't mention anything about their stupidly long list of names until after the formal ceremony.
She drops her head onto their shoulders, sighing loudly.
(Kokomi) "S/O...why did we need to have all your names read out...?"
Tumblr media
The AUDACITY S/O had!
To have more titles than HER, FURINA?!
This transgression would never be forgotten!
...But they were some pretty cool names, she did have to admit.
'The Golden Paladin',' 'Lord of the Lance', 'Roi Breton'
(Furina) "Hmph, and where exactly did you acquire such names, S/O? More importantly, how does it nearly rival my own?! Hmph! Perhaps I should read all of mine so that we are on equal footing!"
Honestly, some of those were starting to sound like stage names, which wasn't fair at all!
If they could do that, then so could she!
Needless to say, the ceremony the two were attending dragged on for way too long.
Tumblr media
By Barbatos, those were some extra titles.
'The Green Knight', 'Knight of the Glade', 'Heart of the Lion'
Though, she only had a few titles under her own belt, the sheer number S/O had was honestly staggering.
But it was also admirable.
It made her want to keep up, and wondered if she could ever live up to Vanessa, and apparently S/O.
Because at this point she was wandering in her mind, the list was still going, and probably outnumbered Vanessa herself.
(Jean) Well...I suppose we did say we were to refer to all forms of address...Maybe we should revise that.
Tumblr media
Xianyun was no stranger to titles.
She did indeed go by many, but S/O seemed to go by even more.
Which both impressed, and honestly annoyed Xianyun.
How did a mortal go by more names than Rex Lapis?!
'The Sacremor', 'The Soul-Killer', 'Duke of Couronne'-
(Xianyun) "One has to wonder why you must have all your names read aloud? We could be doing something much better right now..."
Granted, she did recognize a few of these titles, but that was no reason for dinner to get cold now!
Xinayun pouts, adjusting her glasses as she tries to get comfortable as the reading continued.
One found this situation inane...

What I mean when I say that Mike and Steve and Hopper are playing out different sides of the same story is that in season four, in the throes of maybe the best monologue in the series, Hopper says, "Ever since I was eighteen...Uncle Sam wants me to go fight some war in the jungle. Charlie's moving south like a plague 'cause of commie bastards like you. And you know, I'm happy enough to go, prove to my old man I'm not the piece of shit he thinks I am." A year earlier, fresh out of high school, Steve complains about the asshole dad who sneers at him about learning responsibility, and then finds himself out on a quest to find Soviet soldiers on American soil, trying to set loose the Upside-Down like a disease.
It's something about fathers and sons and respect and what you have to live up to. Something about the way Ted Wheeler never looks up at his children over the breakfast table. Something about trying to prove yourself with honor and violence, with protection. Steve home-running a demogorgon and playing bait for demodogs in a junkyard, Hopper playing bait in a prison laundry room, Hopper with a sword like the fulfillment of a promise. Joyce and Murray behind Hopper in the face of danger and the almost-hilarious plethora of shots of teens ducking behind Steve at the first sign of monsters. The way you can see Mike stop being a snotty, whiny teenager and Activate Paladin Mode every time someone he loves is in trouble.
It's the way Hopper and Mike both try to Lay Down The Law, we are Not Stupid, friends don't lie. They break their own rules, because who could ever live up to them? But god forbid El does. Steve's favorite word is 'no', for all he keeps getting overruled, all the times he keeps trying.
It's Joyce. It's Nancy. It's El, and El again -- a little bit Robin, and a little bit Will, a little bit all of the kids, but always, there's El.
It's about loving but not knowing how to do it right, because nobody ever taught you, because your dad was a piece of shit who will never be impressed, who will never be proud, because you used to be a boy and then the world said here, little boy, it's time to learn violence instead. It's about trying again and again to love the right way anyway, grasping for advice because of course Joyce and Will know how to love El better, letting Nancy go because of course Jonathan is best. (None of the Byers tell this story, because they're all too busy letting love carve chunks out of them instead.)
It's about being the guy, The Guy -- the one who isn't black or disabled or gay, the one who's not a genius, not a weirdo, not strange in the face of all these things that keep getting stranger. The Guy, who all the laws of narrative say is supposed to be at the center (though Joyce and Nancy and Dustin do more to actively drive the plot in any one season than these guys do in four, though the whole show revolves like a hurricane around El, El, always El). The Guy, knowing you're meant to get the girl in the end, recognizing or forgetting or learning that maybe this isn't that story, that maybe you've never been good enough for her. Never knowing what to do with yourself without her, because you're not special. You've never been special. You're normal. You're boring. You're an asshole. You're a curse.
And Mike is too young to hold a sword, and Steve knows how to say I love you, and Hopper is so much older and more tired and broken than either of them. But Steve walks barefoot through miles of Upside-Down, and Hopper runs barefoot through miles of Russian snow, and nobody says a goddamn word, because they're the same, they're the same, they're the same.

I've been following your D20 recaps for a while (they are so much fun!), but Junior Year episode 9 compelled me to create an account for this ask.
Are Jace and Porter both baddies?
Spot got eaten by an owl right before finding Yolanda's body. Yolanda was presumably killed after reporting Kristen's concerns to Jace, and it was established in freshman year that he summons owls. And now the intrepid heroes are digging through the possible path of succession. Maybe he's just bored of doing nothing as the sorcery teacher?
Porter might be a normal shitty teacher, but I'm getting all kinds of bad vibes from his "rage as devotion to doubt" lesson. Maybe doubly so since Brennan brought up the divine taboo of siphoning off worship from one god to empower another? And of course, no word on who his paladin deity is! There may be another connection with Porter being an earth genasi, since Lucy was also a genasi but with giant ancestry.
Plus these were the two teachers talking to Arianwen post-prom, and Porter (knowingly?) infected Ragh with the Kalina plague.
This has gotten away from me. I think I need more yarn for my cork board.
Unrelated, but last thought: Since there's been all the questions about Aguefort by-laws and the literal vs. intended interpretation of the rules, I think it would be funny if Kipperlilly "found" the rogue teacher just by requesting a teacher conference.
First of all, making a Tumblr account just to send this ask? I'm flattered! Thanks for following my recaps!
Now, to your actual question let's talk teachers.
I forgot to put this in my recap but despite the fact that I don't actually have any read on what a motive might be, I did wonder if Jace might worth putting on the suspect list. I mean, he is the last person Yolanda said she was going to talk to before they found her body. And Brennan technically didn't say she wasn't killed by magic, he said there was no magical residue. Sorcerers do metamagic which can change spells and I wonder if Brennan would let something like subtle spell be flavored to not leave magical residue. Absolutely circumstantial and speculative, especially since, as I said before, there's no motive. But it's worth noting and he's def worth looking into/talking to as Yolanda's last mission before she ended up a corpse (RIP). And he did presumably become Principal with Grix gone so movement is happening around him.
(I don't remember the owl thing but that would be a deep pull from Brennan, haha. I got the sense that that was more about just Fig's bad luck but who knows?)
Porter I just talked about in another ask but the genasi thing is an interesting connection. Good spot. My read is that Brennan is playing Porter sincerely but, again, I can def see Brennan leaning into Emily/Fig's last two years of suspicion and making him an integral part of the plot just to pay that off--this is a season of payoffs after all. Either way, just like Jace, he likely has at least some useful info.
Re: Kipperlilly, That would be such a weasel-y way for her to have done that…which makes it entire in character. This is def a loose end I'm very interesting in the Intrepid Heroes following up on so I'm glad Murph/Riz is remembering to roll for it.
Anyway, all good notes! All of it is officially on the board! Can't wait to see what new info we get tomorrow and, now that you have a tumblr count, feel free to stop by my inbox any time :)

10 Characters, 10 Fandoms
Tagged by @buridanshorse , thank you!! These are super interesting and I always struggle in just choosing 10 but let's see xD
Tagging: @salsedine @deerna @diesvitae @ndostairlyrium @cao-the-dreamer @zitronenmango @coloricioso @layalu @daggerbean @transprincecaspian and YOU.
1. Anakin Skywalker - Star Wars
Tumblr media
I have a 30 pages essay over him and I won't shut up about it if you start me (as a villain, mind me, I just am obsessed with his corruption arc)
2. Idril Celebrindal - the Silmarillion
Tumblr media
Choosing just one character from Tolkien universe is HARD... But if it's just one it's her. Wise, not afraid to go against the status quo, knowing what she wants and acting upon it without forgetting kindness. The version in the Lost Tales? Step on me, mommy.
3. Enjolras - Les Miserables
Tumblr media
Reeeed, the blood of angry meeen 🎶 (second place to Javert. I love morally VERY gray antagonists ok.)
4. Kashibai - Bajirao Mastani
Tumblr media
One of my latest obsessions, but THIS MOVIE. I'm kissing her on the forehead she's flawless and strong in a way we can all dream of. (Go watch Bajirao Mastani.)
5. Dorian Pavus - Dragon Age
Tumblr media
Cullen comes a very close second, but choosing him because I'm pretty hopeful we're seeing him again in DA4 (if it'll ever come out) and I want to see how his story develops, Cullen's is concluded (I hope. Retire, man, I beg you) and gives me less brain worms speculating.
Also histrionic, extremely theatrical human wet cats are always an instant fave for me.
6. Ellen Ripley - Alien
Tumblr media
Were we talking about Bi awakenings, uh?
7. Jareth the Goblin King - Labyrinth
Tumblr media
Have I already mentioned that I have a thing for histrionic, extremely theatrical wet cats, and that there are few thing in a story I find as boring as a Lawful Good Paladin?
8. Urdnot Wrex - Mass Effect
Tumblr media
I'm at the start of ME2 but I'm gently kissing him on the forehead I already miss him so much.
9. Izumi Curtis - Fulmetal Alchemist
Tumblr media
Choosing just one character from Fulmetal Alchemist is also HARD, but oh my god, her and her husband. Choosing them because she doesn't see so much love around.
10. Jessica Day - New Girl
Tumblr media
I know this show comes with flaws but it's been important to me to see a girl owning up using glitter while being a strong woman nonetheless.
(Nick is a close second, but I never cosplayed Nick. I cosplayed Jess. - no one recognised me if you were wondering, but I ran around a Lucca Comics in a black wig, flat shoes and dressed in three different colours and I had a lot of fun.)
Am I regretting leaving out at least three or four characters? You bet.

Tag game! Open tag from @arendaes!
Tag game: Give your KC's first impression and final opinion of each of their companions.
Since Vysk's playthrough is still going, I'll throw this back to Allix, my first KC. TLDR: He's a Freebooter Ranger turned Angel that struggles with the Lawfulness of Heaven while doing his best to keep everyone alive through the crusade. He drinks a lot of coffee.
First Impressions-
Seelah: There are worse people to be trapped in a hole with in a city under siege by demons. A paladin is one of the best options running. I just hope she isn't too by the books...
Camellia: A noble. Just my luck. We'll be lucky to crawl out of this hole with our sanity intact. She has all the fixings of a higher-than-though noble... and yet. There's something off about this one. Some glimmer in her eye I just can't place a finger on. I need to be careful with this one.
Lann: I've never heard of a mongrel before. He seems cheery enough for someone who's lived their whole life underground. Certainly much more open that his companion here. Free spirited, headstrong. I can respect that.
Wenduag: You, I don't trust. I know what it's like to carve out a living in the wilds, amongst a tribe. Those that refuse to walk with kin do not last long, unless there is something else going on in the background. You and Camellia might get along, I feel. You have the same steely glint to your eye, no matter what honey rolls off your tongue.
Woljif: A thief turned crusader. That ought to be something. Woljif might play it cool, but there's a jumpiness to that one. I couldn't leave him in that cell. He seems a little too eager to jump out into the burning streets. He'll bear watching, but I don't think he's as cowardly as he wants to appear.
Ember: No one will touch this child again so long as she remains in my care. To maintain such innocence in her philosophies after being so wronged by the forces that claim to act in the greater good. She is either crazy, or hopelessly optimistic. Either way, she will be protected.
Daeran: Just what I need. Another pompous noble who cares for nothing but his own entertainment. He knows the city better than any of us, and his influence might prove useful. I'll placate him for now, let him get his fill of blood. Gods, hopefully he grows bored and just stays at the inn.
Nenio: A scientist with a death wish that cannot even remember home. Am I the one going mad? Perhaps it is perfectly reasonable to be strolling the streets in the middle of a warzone, asking cultists what they really know about their gods. She has gall. I respect the hells out of that.
Finnean: Poor soul.
Ulbrig: A hundred year old griffon just came crashing through the roof, demanding to know what I did to his lands? I don't have time for this. Well, I might have time for this. This just keeps getting stranger. Maybe he'll calm down once we get him some ale.
Sosiel: A cleric of beauty in the middle of a warzone? What confused loyalties have led you here my friend? He seems nice enough, though I fear he may lack the spine for what is to come. If he can find beauty on a battlefield? Gods, I would envy him. He is even less prepared for this than I.
Regill: Clipped, professional, a man of few words beyond those required for what passes as hellknight tactics. I abhor his organization. I hate with all my heart his treatment of prisoners, wounded, and allies. Yet, his chapter knows how to run an army, run a supply train. I need his experience, as much as I loathe to admit it. We'll be allies, though I may suffer some sleepless nights.
Arueshalae: A demon that wears an icon of Desna? Can demons truly turn on the abyss? I don't see a reason they couldn't I suppose. My own kin are called demons the whole world round for our horns and tails. Who am I to judge if her intentions are true? I'll need to keep an eye on our new ally, but something tells me she's telling the truth. Desna may not be my chosen patron, but she shares a realm with Erastil. May old deadeye guide me true.
Greybor: Any fellow willing to charge a baylor with naught but a dagger is one worth meeting. An assassin by trade? Not exactly my old job description, but I'm sure there's plenty of overlap between that and a bounty hunter. As soon as this is all wrapped up, I need to buy that man a drink.
Trever: Oh Sosiel. A man who wanders from the path is not all lost. I cannot speak to the horrors Trever has suffered in the Abyss, nor can I judge him for the things he has done to survive. I will get him home. That much I can do. As soon as we get out of this thrice damned place.
Queen Galfrey: I am officially over my head. I'm here on a bloody bounty contract, killing demons for gold and hunting the occasional deserter turned bandit. Now, I'm drinking with a Queen and being handed control of a crusading army? It's not too late to slip out the back door, I suppose. But these powers... Gods damn it, this is not the kind of mess I need to be mixed up in.
The Hand of the Inheritor: Oh joy, the right hand of Iomedae, herself. Of all the realms to be looking over my shoulder, I got the lawyers of the afterlife. Angel's have long been allies of the crusade, but I cannot say that I was expecting to have the right hand of the goddess herself looking over my shoulder.
Final Thoughts:
Seelah: One of the finest people I shall ever have the pleasure to know. First among drinking buddies. First into the fray and the last to leave the field. I have had the privilege to meet very few people who truly care as much as Seelah. This war has bent her, but I believe she shall never be broken. I shall treasure her friendship for the rest of my days.
Camellia: I have no regrets in her fate. Thousands of soldiers have perished under my command over this past year. Thousands of families have been devastated, left without sons, daughters, mothers and fathers. That some would be murdered like livestock in my own camp? There was never a way that Camellia could have left that basement alive. Horgus Germ will face tribunal, and perhaps I may sleep soundly again. I very much doubt it.
Lann: Faithful friend. Never have I seen one so wracked with guilt, and yet, you have survived it. I am proud to call you my brother. I cannot explain to you how angry I felt when I thought you would be the instrument of your own demise. I would never have you question my faith in you. I am glad that you found the strength to question your faith in yourself. Please do not name that boat after me.
Wenduag: I cannot help but feel that I could have done more for you. So focused were you on strength, on finding or creating the stronger master. I hope that you found peace in the end, for you have left me with none. For Lann's sake, I hope you found peace.
Woljif: I cannot overstate how proud I am of you. You overcame your demons, quite literally, and chose the higher path. You could have sunk deep into your magic, claimed the power that was before you, but instead you struggled on. I hope you're enjoying your retirement, my friend. I believe we're going plane hopping next month...
Ember: I have never seen someone surprise a god so thoroughly as you. Even Arueshalae is baffled that you managed to flip the Redeemer Queen. They will regale you as a saint, I'm sure. But your friends know the truth. You're just another person, trying to create as much good in the world as you can. I always look forward to your visits.
Daeran: I never did apologize for misjudging you so badly. While I think you and I would never quite see eye to eye, I am proud of how far you've come. I hope you're enjoying shaking up Queen Galfrey's court. She'll need some excitement in peace time. Don't forget that we're vacationing with Woljif soon. I can't wait to hear all the details you've left out of your letters.
Nenio: You continue to baffle me. I'm not sure that I will ever truly understand the depths of your mind. Though I can confidently say that being told to "take my pants off" for friendship in the abyss is a memory that I will never forget. Thank you for making me your assistant. Even if it took you years to finally learn my name.
Finnean: Rest well, my friend. You've earned it.
Ulbrig: I don't think I'm going to ever get used to the idea of you as a god. Come visit some time, yeah? I'll never outdrink you, but it is always a joy to try.
Sosiel: My dearest friend. I do not know how, but we survived. I hope that you are getting the rest you deserve. Your estate is lovely, and your cherry wine is still Arue's favorite. I know that you have your quiet days. The world was never as hoped it would be. But with Trever, and your love at your side, I hope you still find beauty wherever you look. We'll come visit again soon.
Regill: I never expected to have the respect that I harbor for you. We were never quite friends, but I think we now understand each other. I cannot help but admire your discipline, even as it kills you. I hope for nothing more than joy for you. However you choose to find it.
Arueshalae: My darling, what else is there to be said? I am so proud of you for the impossible heights that you have scaled. Our cabin on the water is beautiful. I cannot wait to explore many more dreams with you.
Greybor: I will never understand you. A man truly married to the job. I wish you well, friend. May you stand the test of time and ambition. It takes a lot of gall to run an assassin's guild in the abyss.
Trever: I hope you find your peace, friend. I suspect it will not be found in gods, nor liquor. You have a long and dark road still to walk, but I can think of no finer a man to walk beside you than your brother.
Queen Galfrey: I harbor you no ill will for your trespasses against me. I cannot imagine the weight on your shoulders after a hundred years of war. Your realm is changing rabidly now, new councils, new liberties. The real test of your rule has begun. I am curious to see how you intend to handle it.
The Hand of the Inheritor: Last we spoke you asked me to kill you. I cannot say if I made the right choice in refusal. I hope you found your healing, my friend. I will search for you soon, my friends at my back. If heaven deigned not to open its gates to its finest servant, hurt and broken after fighting its war for it, I will tear down those golden gates myself. Wherever you are, I hope the sun shines brightly. We shall meet again soon enough.
BONUS:
Irabeth:
First- Finally, someone competant to take all this over. Hey, hey, what do you mean I'm in charge???
Final- Anevia is the luckiest woman in the world to have someone as steady as you around. I would not have survived without you. Please bring those cinnamon cookies over again next time, I think Arue would kill me if I forgot to ask.
Anevia:
First- A kindred spirit. We're going to get along famously. Assuming we survive this of course.
Final- The greatest spymaster I could have asked for, and an even greater friend. I will not forget the blackberry mead next time. That was my bad.

i dont think ive seen any of ur pcs other than afhiri (who i adore) basically i am here to say if u want share pics and some facts abt ur other pcs!! :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is rue she is my durge and her playthrough got murdered by durge related bugs that i didnt wanna deal with and would rather wait for them to fix the cutscenes <3 also known as rue the impaler shes a wild magic sorcerer who got fed up of being one shot and became a tank with a barbarian multiclass <3 afhiri is a resist durge who i can explain best as those uncomfortable and uneasy to be around strange emo girls who stare into ur soul with lifeless eyes. shes pretty... but shes weird
my oc dru kind of got cannibalised by rue but still exists.. cuz dru's intended path literally doesn't work because i made her before i finished the game and the ending doesn't allow her to exist and it would have to be rewritten by me so much that i just don't have the energy so dru just lives in my lil au "what i wish the ending allowed" space in my brain <3 i'm not gonna share a picture because this also allows me to have her exist outside of the games limitations so no picture <3 she's so much cooler than the cc allows <3 dru is a high elf who is delusional and thinks shes actually a fey eladrin and is very uncomfortable to be around because shes just insane. completely isolated from society and the world and would have the hermit background if they didnt remove it .. larian literally didnt want her to exist.
Tumblr media
unfortunately due to my pc death i no longer have asuras cc stuff so she will need to be remade but... this is asura shes literally terrible. shes my unfortunately extremely power hungry character who will accept every single option to make her stronger. she fucks mindflayers. and minthara. and she and minthara will rule the entire world together as tyrant wives and maybe they ascend. true love stuff. asura won't live until i'm confident minthara isn't a broken fucking mess . i think playing asura will make me worse. shes like how people play bhaalist durges who love their daddy but shes not the durge. shes just a bad person
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
THIS IS TAV. yeah his name is tav. they're just a tav man idk. this is my first character from full release tav is an ancients paladin whose entire vibe is "you don't quite suite your oath" and that's fun. they are the most lawful good boring ass motherfucker you ever met and literally my favourite type of character. he's all about Justice and Order and Goodness and Sacrificing Your Happiness For The Greater Good. that kind of annoying paladin! <3 tav never got to finish the game because my pc died and killed them. oh and tav has a twin who dedicated their life to annoying tav because .. like. lawful good paladin? DESERVES to be annoyed
Tumblr media
which is really funny because the twin is my EA character! also tav! see the thing is. paladin tav is actually tav. but this monster? tav isn't their name. but they go by tav. just so they can hopefully fuck with their twins reputation. doing terrible things in their lawful good twins name!!! i still can't decide if i want twin tav to work with the guide and kiss nine-fingers keenne or work with the zhentharim and kiss rugan. or maybe they're a double agent and kiss both. idk!!! twin tav has literally no moral compass and just does shit for money mostly. and to make their twins life hell <3
Tumblr media
and lastly i have this dude who doesn't have a place on my oc page because he doesn't have a name or nothing like. he's completely blank beyond i KNOW he's something to do with afhiri. so fun fact afhiri's lore was leading towards this dude being some sort of outer planes entity, either a god (dead star) or the herald of such, and baited afhiri through a portal as part of her destiny. this is how she gains her wild magic. BUT this was scrapped for what ended up happening (afhiri befriends a chwinga. cuteness ensues). HE STILL EXISTS IN AFHIRIS LORE SOMEWHERE - HE IS LITERALLY A COMPANION IN HER PARTY - when my pc stops crashing every time i play bg3 he's going to be on my blog a lot because im gonna use fancy editing to make him a companion and shove him in cutscenes. afhiri and he will kiss btw. i definitely don't want him to be actually a tiefling though this is just a form he uses to walk faerun and not to cause any ruckus... and to make afhiri feel ease around him <3 ALSO HES NOT ACTUALLY AFHIRIS GUARDIAN... u will see who is when my pc stops dying <3

Fuck it my paladin rant and why I love this so much with the dnd con au
So Paladins are very interesting since they’re all supposed to be the Lawful Good alignment- like that’s what they’re supposed to be bc Paladins basically follow under their oath and do what they need to do to protect others- however I like being silly and I love doing things that differentiate alignments and classes bc I love dnd don’t get me wrong but sometimes having a specific alignment to be for a class is too boring
In terms of the dnd con au— Sam is Lawful Good, Schlatt is Lawful Evil, and Cala is Neutral Good!
Schlatt and Sam are a given: they both follow their beliefs even if they’re too harsh- but Schlatt believes he’s in the right as well- so he sees himself as Lawful Good in his eyes.
And Cala is a special case- she follows the rules and her beliefs but she breaks other rules and stuff to help others (big example: prison break). And some people think that her doing stuff like that and other reckless stuff would end up making her an Oathbreaker-
But she’s not! Since she’s technically not breaking her oath and is helping people!
But Schlatt and Sam see how she does things differently and do not like it since she’s practically bending how far she can go before she breaks her oath in the sake of keeping her loved ones safe.
But yeah:)

htf characters ranked on what kind of dnd players they would be, perhaps? (you can take this as either what classes they would normally play or what dnd player stereotypes theyd most align with)
cuddles: fighter, neutral/chaotic good, not the best at roleplay and a little too eager to rush into combat sometimes
giggles: druid, lawful/neutral good, finds combat boring and wants to talk her way out of every situation
toothy: also a druid, neutral/chaotic good, somehow can't roll above a six to save his life half the time
petunia: paladin, lawful good, has the most gorgeous fleshed out character art you've ever seen in your life
handy: fighter, true neutral, the one who tries to get the party back on track when they're fucking off ignoring the plot
nutty: ranger, chaotic good, the one fucking off ignoring the plot
sniffles: eternal dm. but on the off chance he gets to play, artificer, lawful neutral, the notetaker and puzzle master
pop: does not understand how DnD works
flaky: cleric, lawful good, avoids combat at all costs
mole: rogue, true neutral, refuses to break character at any point
disco bear: fighter, chaotic evil, chronic "it's what my character would do" syndrome, banned from the table after 2 games tops
russell: barbarian, chaotic neutral, plays a bit character at first but ends up getting roped into dramatic moments while being named some shit like "lord knuckleslapper the fifth"
lifty: ranger, chaotic neutral, chronic "i roll to fuck cthulu" syndrome
shifty: rogue, true neutral, has never strategized or planned a day in his life and keeps fucking up the puzzles
mime: bard, chaotic good, world's most heartbreaking backstory
flippy: paladin, lawful good, refuses to explore his character's backstory under any circumstances
lammy: wizard, chaotic good, "am i out of spell slots again??"
splendid: sorcerer, chaotic good, "i cast fireball. no i don't care that we're in a 5x5 room"
splendont: rogue, chaotic neutral, insists on being the edgy loner who doesn't interact with the party

After reading your fic I totally got inspired to rewatch Voltron and I was just watching S4E3 and... Lotor is such a good actor, the cunning little gremlin...
In the scene where he gets rejected after acting like he really wants to keep his higher position, there's like a little tremble in his voice when he responds to Zarkon's dismissal with "as you wish". All that posing just to sell the lie and keep suspicion off of himself lol. (Also, such a nice scene, really gives us insight into the characters (insinuations towards Lotor's past especially) of the people present and the dynamic between Lotor and Zarkon.)
Anyway, it also really made me appreciate the approach your take when writing his character. For one, he really does feel quite intelligent and... polished, which I find is often hard to get across in a show-not-tell manner. Secondly, as for the things that make him such a compelling character (his background, motivations, actions, the "good" and "bad" things he does etc.), I really really like the fact that you seem to want to address that kind of thing (by alluding to past actions he assumes the paladins would not forgive if they were to find out f.ex. 👀 etc. etc.). I often find with characters like him people either blow the bad things out of proportion, writing them to be senseless villains (I do feel Vld writers fell into this trap in the end...) or somehow explaining and excusing everything away, instead of just expanding on a complex character, allowing them to simply constantly toe the line and to let the audience decide for themselves. I feel, writers and even fandoms (?) sometimes seem so set on dividing characters and putting them into these perfect little boxes of "good" and "evil".
So yeah, sry for the rant, I just wanted to say that I really love your characterization of him!
Tysm my darling!! I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love moral complexity in a character because, imo, it makes any and every story infinitely more interesting than that simplistic (and frankly boring) base of lawful good vs chaotic evil. Lotor as a character was, from the very first, cunning—personally I feel that to minimise that side of him would be a disservice—so it's always wonderful to know that my attempts to write him as a heavily layered sort of person are not going unnoticed or unappreciated!!

(I'll be writing this from the perspective of my bardlock if you'll indulge me lmao this is such a cute concept, kore!!!)
Greetings from the jewel of the North!
Hello, I hope you found my bottled letter, I tossed it in a river on my walk home (I hope the seal worked). I am a musician and a very talented spell caster (not to reignite the hells of course) it's just turning to winter, so I think I'd like to keep a pen pal to keep me warm. I have a few questions- if you don't mind..
1. What is your favorite tea
2. What is your favorite cake
3. If you could travel to anywhere in ferûn where would it be.
(enclosed is a sketch of a teifling with braided hair chowing down on a cake. Below it is slightly scribbled "my answers on the back!!" )
It is signed
Lia Obbon
House Obbon, Neverwinter
Dearest Lia,
I do hope this letter finds you well. In both good times, and bad, it is always nice to have someone to correspond with. I wish you all the best as you continue in your journeys.
It was much to my surprise that this bottle happened to land near me. Rarely do I indulge myself in catching a cold during this time of season but, alas, here I am.
I do have to add, your craftsmanship with the sealing of this letter left much to the imagination! It was sealed quite tightly, I almost believed I hadn’t been meant to open it.
Perhaps, a day in the long distant future, you will be able to prove your magical skills to me. I’ll have you know I am a fairly talented magic-user myself. Chosen by the Mother of the Weave, Mystra, at a young age, I do fancy myself a spell or two.
Though I’ve not dabbled in the arts, any further than a doodle or two, your rendition of what I can only assume to be yourself is lovely.
Ah, I’m sure I’ve bored you well enough with all my talk. It’s about time I answer your questions.
1. While you can never go wrong with a traditional green or herbal, I pleasure myself in a nice black tea. Somewhere along the lines of the Earl Grey family, I’d say. Quite the pleasure with a bit of milk and honey, if you ask me.
2. I tend to stay away from sweets, but I cannot help myself when placed in the reach of a good chocolate cake. Mundane, I know, but there is something about the richness of it that I must indulge in.
3. I hail from Waterdeep, there’s not too much you can go wrong with here. However, I have always wanted to venture out towards Procampur. The city there is rich with history, to be able to even get a mild glimpse of our past as a civilization would be enough satisfaction for a lifetime.
I hope my answers are suitable to whomever you believed would receive this message. It surely has come a long way since you wrote your first letter. Perhaps the following spell will do you well as winter comes to a head.
Attached is listed the instructions for performing a ‘fireball’ spell.
Since it would be awfully rude to not ask you a question or two, I’ve come up with a few of my own.
What is your go-to spell in any situation you’re thrown into? Don’t hold back on this one- I’m a man of many studies, you can’t confuse me with my focus in life.
What is your favorite food? Mine happens to be a soup made by my mother. Though a grown adult now, there’s nothing like the love of a home-cooked meal.
Lastly, but certainly not least, why don’t dragons eat paladins?
The answer, written on the back of the paper, reads ‘Because they taste lawful! Good one, isn’t it?’
I do hope that this reaches you before winter’s end. Stay warm, my friend, and don’t let the frost giants bite.
From the desk of,
𝑮𝒍𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒔, 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒑
text reads: gale dekarios, waterdeep

Okay so @plumadot’s posting about her D&D Traffic AU has made me remember how much I love my Dungeons & Traffic AU & I Must Talk About It Now.
Basically all the characters are in a modern setting, playing a rotating cast D&D game DMed by The Watchers. (I never really decided how that works. Plan was for everything in out of game space be completely mundane except for the floating purple eye behind the DM screen lol.)
But yeah! So I picked classes & heritages that the characters would pick themselves based on play styles & preferences. &, uh, here they are!
Bdubs: Firbolg, Light Domain Cleric of Helios
Of course he’s a light cleric. Of course his god is literally the god of the Sun. This man does not fuck with the night & darkness At All. (Also he wanted to be tall lol.)
BigB: (???), (???)
Okay, gonna be honest, BigB is the last one I need to make decisions for ‘cause I feel I have too many knowledge gaps about him to figure this out. Was thinking Paladin maybe??? But I will totes take input, please help me here. Only restrictions: I’d prefer if he doesn’t double up on heritage or subclass with anyone.
Cleo: Reborn, Circle of Wildfire Druid
Cleo’s gotta be a zombie, so Reborn is perfect. & who can deny Cleo the opportunity to have a skill set based entirely around setting shit on fire?
Etho: Shadar-Kai, Way of the Shadow Monk
He’s a ninja lol. Also in this AU I was thinking he & Gem would be siblings, so having him play an emotionally flat dark elf played nicely with what Gem goes with. Which…
Gem: Eladrin, Eldritch Knight Fighter
Gem had to be a fighter, that girl is a fighter through & through, but she’s definitely not playing a boring character. Eldritch Knight adds some magical flavour that goes well with her being an Eladrin. & she had to be an elf of some kind; I think she’d like the versatility & expressiveness of Eladrin.
Grian: Changeling, Pact of the Tome Warlock of the Archfey
Okay, I know this is probs controversial but hear me out. 1) Grian being a Warlock I think is just very in character. 2) Pact of the Tome lets him cast catrips from other classes & you unknowingly he’d get a kick outta that mechanic. 3) His patron is a homebrewed version of The Traveler, half way between 5e canon & Critical Role canon. Trickster vibes are real. 4) This dude has had so many skins. Changeling energy. (Also I just love changelings & Grian made the most sense to me.)
Impulse: Hill Dwarf, Forge Domain Cleric of Tharmekhûl
Another controversial one, but I’m not a fan of demon/tiefling/horned Impulse. & he legit has been a dwarf before. Hill dwarf because they get a Wisdom buff & that makes sense for Impulse. Cleric of Tharmekhûl because forge/light vibes & also he’s the god of smiths & that feels… like something Impulse would choose. (Impulse’s character is also min-max’d to hell. This man is going to win at D&D.)
Jimmy: Human, Oath of Glory Paladin of Tyr
Jimmy got overwhelmed by all the heritages & just went human for simplicity. He takes regular human rather than variant because he doesn’t want to learn all the feats & getting +1 to all stats is pretty good, right? Oath of Glory Paladin of Tyr because he really, really plays into being Lawful Good, & being The Law of the party.
Joel: Half-orc, Path of the Berserker Barbarian
Half-orc for being the closest I could get to an ogre. Path of the Berserker because he’s all about The Rage.
Lizzie: High Elf, School of Enchantment Wizard
Idk Lizzie just has big Wizard vibes to me, but like. Not the best wizard. Like she’s powerful, but rolls shit. She couldn’t get anyone to sleep in the Secret Life campaign because her DC is kinda low & everyone kept making their saves. (Except Joel. He failed his save on purpose. <3) High Elf for Queen Lizzie.
Martyn: Tiefling, Swashbuckler Fighter
Another natural fighter choice imo, but Swashbuckler for The Performance. Tiefling because he’s a bit impish & also so he can have Thaumaturgy to constantly scare everyone with monster/mob noises.
Mumbo: Rock Gnome, School of Evocation Wizard
I need to Mumbo to be a glass canon. School of Evocation Wizard does that so well. He can blow shit up so good, but he takes one hit & he’s out. Rock gnome because he just wanted to be a little guy & so he can be a Tinker.
Pearl: Wood Elf, Beastmaster Ranger
Beastmaster Ranger so she can have Tilly as an animal companion. Also more combat than magic focused, ‘cause that feels right? Elf because that’s her vibe, wood elf because it made sense for her build.
Ren: Werewolf Shifter (Doglike), Bannerette Fighter
Ren really wanted to be a fighter, but he put all his points in charisma RIP. So yeah, he’s the fighter class that does the least actual fighting lol. Doglike werewolf because of course.
Scar: Half-elf, Wild Magic Sorcerer/School of Eloquence Bard multiclass
His first few levels were in sorcerer, to reflect his absolutely bonkers all or nothing luck. School of Eloquence because he’s the type to talk his way out of most any situation he can. Also: Scar is 100% a charisma caster. (He still uses a longbow, don’t worry; he gets proficiency with it from being a half-elf.)
Scott: Fairy, Lunar Sorceror
I have changed my mind the most about Scott. Landed on Fairy, because the Vibes. Sorcerer because I felt he’d have innate magic, Lunar because it gives him access to a wide variety of spells that make sense for him. (Like Shield. He uses Shield all the time. Can’t hit this man, no sir.)
Skizz: Protector Aassimar, Path of the Ancestral Guardians Barbarian
He attac, he protec. & most importantly, he place high value on bonds between folks. So giving him Ancestral Guardians just… yeah.
Tango: Fire Genasi, Battlesmith Artificer
I don’t think I need to explain this much. His Steel Defender is an Iron Golem.

Ramblings in my head due to Saga I thought I’d share cause I am bored atm.
Blade : Paladin - Lawful good
Tall, armoured, kinda Amazonian
Unlimited support - advertising / promo / stylists / etc. platinum blonde
I wonder how many times she had to be re-educated
Cheeky- rogue - I think of moving into Chaotic Good from Lawful Good. Moral compass adjusting by what she’s learning about the world.
Was she born telepath? Or does it tie to light magic?
Smaller than Blade. Enjoys the hand to hand stuff that L has taught her. Getting tough is thrilling (likes a little pain) ;). Frustrated at powers not being more useful right now
Ended up with a crap haircut and barcode tattoo (6006) from when the corp captured her to attach stuff to head.
Has she previously had to be re-educated and that’s why she still has blanks? Is it due to the end of the order that she doesn’t remember? Is it because of the telepathy “protecting” her brain but corp never knew what caused it until V said it? (Camera’s watch employees)
I always think of her as living in corporation accommodations with limited contact to the outside world. Like living on base.
L - Rogue/fighter - Lawful neutral - she has a code she follows and it’s why she had to step away for a bit
Cheeky looks up to her cause she is so badass, like a big sister.
Really hope Atrocity saying “she was fun to play with” is not a bad omen. I imagine if L doesn’t show up, she’ll get a call from Cheeky
V - chaotic neutral paladin - he has his goal and will do whatever is required to do it. Meanwhile, he will do all he can for family / magic users BUT there are limits due to goal.
———
Does the Sword of Seraph have the sword? What is their legend?
On our way to open rebellion? WOOT!
Conversation w/ Lady Akasha would be incredibly interesting.
Who is leading the corp that we have now had two warnings not to meet them?? Is it Calista? (I think that was her name)
Now that V’s fighting Atrocity…we can hope that he can teach cheeky how to protect herself from telepaths (no more bait without knowing she’s bait…)
So excited for more for all of Scythe’s worlds

👀 *punta la lampada come nei polizieschi*
For the "send a character" thingie: Dorian and Loghain
I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING AGENT I SWEAR I WASN'T THERE AND IF I WAS I WAS SLEEPING. *piagnucola agitando le manette*
Thank you for asking these two. For Loghain I hope you all are ready for me having OPINIONS about him. Reading Stolen Throne served to something.
This the tag game
MUAHAHAHAHAHAH.
Tumblr media
Dorian:
First impression: As for Zevran, he checks all the marks that will make me instantly love a character. Cocky, charismatic, witty, histrionic and very theatrical. He was there and he spoke and I suddenly understood why all the fanarts with people praising him. Also I remember looking at his outfit puzzled and thinking how and why he's not dying frozen in the snow with a shoulder totally bare I would have pneumonia and the plague in his place.
Impression now: If you're not here from 5 minutes you may have realised that he's one of my favourite characters. He's one of my favourite characters even from outside the saga. He's well written, deeply characterised, a good combination of virtues and flaws he's there working on! He's my son the apple of my eyes my sweet pea and I live in terror of writing him as just the gay friend.
Favorite moment: I think I have to choose the cutscene after Adamant. Beside the fact that he has a very human and relatable reaction, he's the only one in the Inner Circle that not only apologizes for venting on you, but asks you how are you back. No one else does, even your love interest if you're in a romance. That was the thing that pushed me to write some expansion on that scene... And it was the first prose I wrote and shared with other people in YEARS.
Idea for a story: Too many! I'd love to see what he's doing after Trespasser and his work with the Lucerni. Or, I'd love personally to dig more into Adoribull. I had one prompt about them which I think I'd love to expand... Again, if he's not the local gay friend without any other characterisation, if there's him I'll read it. Acciaierie.
Unpopular opinion: I don't think I have many opinions about him that are unpopular, LOL. Maybe the only one is that that one dialogue option about slavery should have been treated with more depth and with a follow up... Particularly if you play with a Lavellan. I attempted it here if you want to read more (you don't need to read the rest, it's followable by itself.)
Favorite relationship: Him with the Inquisitor, both romantically and platonically, it's just something that melts me every time. Adoribull? Yes I like it a lot (Bull brought him his handkerchief because he forgot!!). And also with Sera. I just like how he puts a lot of effort in communicating and trying to build relationships with the others. But with Sera? They just work so well (and I think both of them are people that masks a lot just how much they care, and work so well for that)
Favorite headcanon: Ok, I have three: 1) The Bog Unicorn wasn't a random finding, it was Dorian's making experiments. (an attempt was made here, again you can read the chapter by itself) 2) Dorian can't cook to save his life past putting together a sandwich without cooking anything. 3) In spite of that, Dorian will act as your average Italian on the internet. Pineapple on pizza will be taken as a personal offense. He has opinions about the was the cook in Skyhold cooks pasta, and won't have a problem in expressing them. He's actually banned from the kitchens. Has declared a war against the wines served in the Keep. By now Josephine just signs his orders for some "real wine" from Tevinter and lets him do to save herself a headache and a long heated tirade about "Why Orlesian wine is actually vinegar".
I am very normal about Dorian.
Loghain:
First impression: I liked him! Nice antagonist, a big old Machiavellian prince. Kind of an asshole (I get the "tragic accident" to get rid of Cailan: he is the most boring Lawful Good paladin was dangerous and a liability for the kingdom, but maybe don't kill all the Wardens too), but a good one with logic and who knows his shit. Liked him a lot.
Impression now: I've read Stolen Throne. And it that book for me was pain (I... I really don't like how David Gaider writes romances), Loghain was the light in the dark. He's a great character, I love him your honour. Fascinating, well rounded, with some solid reasonings, I like him a lot.
Favorite moment: Landsmeet, I love the dignity he faces his death with. A good ending for a good character, very elegant, very dignified. Respect.
Idea for a story: A Stolen Throne retelling with a big fix it: Loghain and Maric get together. It's there. They have chemistry. Maric swoons and Loghain picks him up. Maric is an idiot, but it's Loghain's idiot. I won't write that retelling because I probably would have to read it again to structure it and once was enough. But...!
Unpopular opinion: I don't know if it's really unpopular, but I think he's an antagonist and not a villain. He opposes the main characters, hence an antagonist. A villain, tho? He doesn't act for Evil. His one mistake is not believing it's a Blight because the premises for him are too little and he has reasons in not trusting a mysterious Order that idiot Cailan will do anything to please. It's not that he thinks his actions are for a greater good, he's actually acting for good. It ties with my opinion that Cailan sucks as king and that Anora was better off alone.
Favorite relationship: Loghain/Maric, hands down.
Favorite headcanon: As above. He and Maric were in love. It needed to happen. But we've been unfairly deprived of it.

i am BORED at WORK, doing this one too, also for my fanfic's version of durge.
1: Where in the Faerûn is your Tav from?
Baldur's Gate. She looks Drow, but thanks to the whole "born of the discarded flesh of Bhaal" thing, she's never even been to the Underdark. She has a very recognizably Baldurian accent, which most of the party probably takes in stride but Minthara at least would find Weird.
2: What is your character's alignment?
Neutral Evil as Durge. As Tav, she's trying her best to at least hit Neutral Good. Probably more like Lawful Neutral.
3: Race and subclass?
Drow. She'll say Selardine if asked, but she has no clue. Just knows she doesn't worship Lolth.
As Durge she was an Oathbreaker Paladin. As Tav, she's currently a Great Old One Warlock/Paladin. In a story and not mechanics sense, she's more apt to use swords and armor, but is weirdly good at mind control magic.
4: If your Tav was a companion, where would they be found?
On the little dock by the crashed ship, staring out at the water. Approached, she'd at first seem not to notice you, and be distracted and even seemingly unconcerned about the tadpole -- before abruptly deciding to follow you.
5: Dark Urge or no?
Yessss
6: What companion are you platonically close with?
Shadowheart and Gale, potentially also Wyll. Thanks to the artefact deciding to float on over to Tav, Shadowheart is sticking pretty close and Tav is like "this is friendship?" Gale meanwhile is (going to) give her magic lessons, and Wyll is just someone Tav admires, without seeing any of his faults and downsides.
7: Romantically close with?
Gonna be hooking up with the asshole vampire boy.
8: Who are they suspicious of?
No one. Which is a problem. Tav at her core believes she should be worshipped and feared and adored, and so she also believes that she is treated that way. She takes praise as a matter of fact. She's very easy to manipulate.
9: Is your Tav from Baldur's Gate? Why are they travelling there?
She is. And she wasn't going there in particular, but now that she has Shadowheart's Artefact, she kind of wants to ride that mission's coattails.
10: Are they proficient in playing any instruments?
Not in the least. Can't sing, either.
11: Weapon of choice?
Shortswords and daggers. Much more finesse that way, you want delicate control when you're mangling a corpse in Bhaal's name.
12: What is their orientation?
Pansexual, like everyone else. Specifically "you are into me, so I am into you." Not really uh... sexually outgoing? It's more like she will reflect any affection she's given first.
13: What are their thoughts on killing? Is it a necessary evil or do they enjoy it?
She enjoys it a lot.
14: What hobbies does your Tav have?
She's kind of trying to figure that out. Amnesia sucks! She doesn't really care for reading, she wants to do something with her hands. She could potentially get into something like embroidery or wood carving, if her companions teach her.
Durge's hobby was murder.
15: What NPC's do they like? Which one's do they dislike?
She really likes the Emperor. He seems like a really nice dude. :( None so far that she dislikes, but because of her habit of mirroring, anyone who is rude first she'll probably treat in kind.
16: Do they have a favorite creature in the Faerûn?
Shovel
17: Do they enjoy life as an adventurer?
A lot! I mean, Tav doesn't remember anything before that, but she knows enough to know her past life wasn't pleasant. She was also kind of a workoholic as Durge, you know, always murdering and plotting! Adventuring is kind of relaxing.
18: What would your Tav be doing if they weren't kidnapped on the Nautiloid?
Leading a murder cult and taking over the world. The more aware of this she becomes, the more uneasy she feels.
19: How do you think they'll meet they're end?
In the Temple of Bhaal. :)
20: Would they destroy the elder brain or control it?
Is serve it an option?
21: What is your Tav's favorite spell?
Friends or Charm Person, oops.
22: What languages is your character fluent in?
Common. This is mildly embarrassing to her. She doesn't know anything else.
23: What do they do after the absolute crisis?
Find a new life. Try to find a purpose as Tav, not as the Dark Urge or as the woman she was before Bhaal. Maybe do some good: not in a Wyll heroic way, but as a way of balancing the scales of her bad deeds. Adventuring more sounds fun.
24: Does your character believe in the afterlife?
She's terrified of it.
25: What arcana major best represents your Tav?
Hanged Man / Death. Being trapped, being renewed.
26: What animal best represents your Tav?
Snowy owl. Not for the wisdom tropes. For the unblinking stare and silent kills.
27: What was their life like before the events of BG3?"
She was Durge. She killed people. She fucked Gortash. She was semi-conscious, given entirely to her father Bhaal.
28: Is your character the de facto leader of the party? Or do they consider someone else to be the leader?
Gale's the DEEPLY reluctant leader. I plan for Tav to take over slowly, due to Gale hating the job and her having some type A tendencies. But no one's trusting her with a full time leader position.
29: Does your Tav want to utilize the tadpole powers or not?
Right now she does, because her bestie The Emperor said she should.
30: What's your favorite thing about your Tav?
??? I... like the idea of Tav being just naturally a bit quiet and stoic as a half-joking reaction to the mostly silent protagonist thing. I also think the extreme gullibility will be a lot of fun and lead to a lot of bad decisions.
