RIP. so yeah i read ten fic late November (bc i remember reading at the dinner table during thanksgiving lol) and ha. this fic uprooted my fucking life. so here’s what i need to get off my chest before i scream:

I CANT WRAP MY HEAD AROUNF THAT!!!!! its so beautifully written like seriously, for a CHILD to write something so well written that’s mind blowing. she is so underrated as a writer. you can SEE THE SCENES so clearly, i FELT the emotions, that angst tag nearly killed me cause OOOOOOO there was times i had to sit my phone down and walk around because i felt physically ill LMAO (sry i’m dramatic but yes it did happen) so like yeah the hatred the author gets is the worst, bc her work was an actual masterpiece

3. the outfits: …. ok ok were they cringe? yes. did i hate them so much that i wouldn’t recommend the fic because of it? girl no. and if i’m being 100% honest…. when i read the outfits i literally just made up my own shit in my head… idk what most ppl do when they read something like that but the outfit choice was such a minor detail like i just changed it in my head and continues reading with the characters in the outfits i imagined myself ? i read “blue tights and white oversized sweater” for the scene at the party i think? and i remember thinking yeah that’s not bad…. but what if he wore tight dark wash skinny jeans and a cropped sweater with a collar instead? and boom i continued happily reading with that outfit in my head :D same with the …. slip dress .. yeah idk i get the idea she was going for but in my head i just made him wear a mesh top with micro shorts and kept it pushing. the outfits weren’t that big of a deal and i think some ppl might not be capable of making their own reality when reading or maybe the lil images they have in their head are already tied to something negative? but for it to be such a big deal amongst fts haters i really just wanted to tell them they hated it because they can’t read LOL

4. the fucking soundtrack: yo. i haven’t read a fic that had a soundtrack SOOOO PERFECTLY MATCHED oh my gosh i’ve changed as a person bc now when i read a car scene/ dancing scene/ adventure scene/ ANYTHING all i can think is “damn what the music? what’s the vibes? This version of dreamtale is where Nightmare did get beat up when he was nine , but when someone was sick in the village, he gave them the negative apple because, for some reason, the positive apples didn't work,and somehow the negative apple heal the sick villager. The villagers realized maybe he isn't a bad guy after all??? Of course some people think he is still bad, but now he doesn't get bullied so much like before. People well call him names or threaten him but don't touch him since he's the village favorite which his brother Dream too

Ink is still a protector and goes around helping aus. He found dreamtale while he was in the doodle sphere. He noticed something that wasn't supposed to be there, which was dreamtale. The page was glitching a lot. He decided to go and investigate it.

HOW HE FITS IN THE STORY:

so before Logan moved to minnesota he was living in Texas and got casually picked on. When the boys move to LA one of the kids who was kinda mean to Logan moves to the palm woods a few months into btr being there. His name is Elijah. The boys are super protective of Logan when he tells them where he recognizes Elijah from.

Logan goes to talk to him just to break the ice and it turns out Elijah is really chill now. Logan never really held any ill will towards him cause they were hella young, but even so Elijah is really apologetic. Logan appreciates it, but the guys aren't having it. Logan and Elijah actually get a long quite well and hang out/bond more often. so now the guys feel protectiveness and jealousy cause who the fuck does this guy think he is? When they "warn" him that Elijah is bad news cause of what he did before Logans is like "we were seven??? its not that deep guys" and also "don't be unfair cause y'all used to pick on me too."

As the guys notice Elijah knows a lot about Logan because of their history and has common interests like space and medical things they're like "OH MY GOD WE'RE GETTING REPLACED!!"/"HOW DOES HE KNOW THINGS WE DON'T KNOW!" The breaking point is when Logan calls Elijah "Eli". "OH GOD THEY'RE ON NICKNAME BASIS" meanwhile, Elijah has been nothing but a sweetheart to everybody since he's moved in lol.

At first Logan is really annoyed with he guys for kinda being jerks to Elijah but when he realizes what's happening/why theyre acting the way he's kinda almost touched. He reassures them nobody could ever replace them and that that's the stupidest thing they could ever worry about.

There is still a little part of them that are worried and jealous and a lil insecure, but then Katie helps them realize that no Elijah isn't going to take their spot as best friend because PLOT TWIST Logan had developed a crush on Elijah. Once they realize that they're like "OH THANK GOD OKAY HE'S LIKE GAY OR BI OR SOMETHING. THATS SO MUCH BETTER." and then they start being nice to Elijah.

They each bond with him over different stuff. HE bonds with Kendall over having a little sister. he bonds with James over self care shit and mommy issues. Carlos he bonds with over being Dominican.

I didn't get into his personally or anything in this, but I just wanted to say how he would fit into the story when I imagine him in my mind palace lol

LOLLLL funny to me u say... i got two other ppl asking for this exact thing soooo. well. um. non-losers look away now ig... my See The Constellation Au...

okay um. basic gist is that flansburgh is an astronomy student at some college in '92... doesnt really matter which. um. and late one night he ends up making brief contact with a constellation guy that, while he first connected him from sheer tired joking, he starts to like actually see (and hear the next night which is honestly freakier). the constellation is linnell obv though this is technically a little complicated

um. so he forms an insane connection with this constellation p much. initially theyre more curiousities to eachokther than actual FRIENDS but it very quickly becomes a friendship just. well honestly probably just bc flansburgh is bad at being professional....? its okay bro idbe freaking too

okay on the topic of flans seeing and hearing him its time to explain this umm. i dont wanna pull something lame and say "oh hes just imagining the constellation LOL" bc thats not whats happening but the constellation is vry much shaped by his psyche. ultimately the constellation is sort of just a sentient chunk of the stars but flansburghs mind has sort of given him an actual form??? if this makes sense??? to everyone ekse hes invisible p much but he and flans share an astral link of some sort. freakssss.... um. but p much hes very much real he just pulls from flansburghs concious to give more understandable form to himself.

flansburgh mental and social state very much ends up deteriorating over the course of the au sorta... its not that hes like. acting crazy he just stops waking up at normal times and talking to actual people less and less. he kind of yearns to be able to have real communication with the constellation outside of the sky and that. weighs on him. i wont bury the lead ill just say see the constellation is probably a song avout killing yourself.

again on their relationship it very quickly turns into something casual as opposed to any sort of REAL research. flansburgh had a lot of questions about what gives the constellation life and how he moves early on but apon being given the chance to bitch about going to colkege uhhh yeah. hes doing that. the constellation isnt completely clueless on human culture actually hes seen a lot of it but probably just doesnt understand certain finer aspects.

okay other thing to say. linnell is also just a real fucking guy in this au and i havent mentioned it until now bc it can get confusing. PRETTY MUCH. he abd flans were really good friends in highschool but insteah of ever going off and starting a band together they just drifted apart. the constellation looks and sounds a lot like linnell (to the most recent of his memory, likely a few mundanes tapes he was able to snag) but ultimately is not actually linked to him. even flansburgh doesnt really realize the similarity until he ends up finally seeing linnell again for a while on the train. he got a job working for one, and because its an overnight ride on obe of those old fashioned ones just because i think they look cool, they end up chatting a bit. feel the need to say flansburgh is a lot less shaken by this than he really should be... like even the constellation is asking about that guy that bears a strangely apt resemblance to him.

um. short of the au is this timeine ig

1. flansburgh resents his astronomy studies

2. flansburgh meets constellation for first time

3. flans develops constellation friendship

4. flansburgh begins ditching certain more um. applicable stidies just to reasearch and understand this guy

5. as they continue to grow closer and more isolated flansburgh takes a long train ride back home, meeting linnell briefly and promicing to really get back to him this time (the mail address sits unused atop a stack of frantic sketches and half finished papers)

6. this guy starts like actually seriously yearning for the constellation to be a real human guy

7. through an offhanded comment of the constellations, flansburgh is lead to believe after around 11 months of contact with the constellation that there is infact a way to be with him in the sky which no is NOT a good deal but hes a little desperate and honestly living off college student money

8. i lay my head on the railroad tracks

it sounds like tragic yaoi this way but i assure you not only is it not YAOI.its not that tragic okayyyyy

other tidbits i cant fit other places hrm.... flansburgh was like incredibly social before all this. like he wasnt already a little introverted he straight up threw college parties. the constellation has communication with other parts of the sky and is not well liked for only having one fucking guy that gaf about him... um. to the stars constellations are honestly a huge thing because the expression of human expirience and guidance onto them is like a massive gesture of love and its part of why the constellation likes flans so much. becahse of this he ceases to exist in a major way after flansburgh is gone. and last but not least. robin MIGHT b here. im still thinking about it...

He's my favorite which means he suffers the most so this post is a little bit of a downer, not gonna lie. But there's silly stuff in there too I promise!!11!

Scar's full name is Scar Conn Goodtimes. You may be asking yourself: what kind of name is that? How is his middle name con? What kind of parent would do that to their child? WELL, the answer is BECAUSE I SAID SO. Idk I just thought it would be goofy if convex had the middle names "con" and "vex". Soooo yeah lol

As far as origins and backstory are concerned, Scar is half vex and half elf. His mother was a vex hybrid, and had two kids, Cub and Scar (I'll post about Cub tomorrow probably). They're technically half-brothers, but they don't really care enough to talk about the logistics of it. As far as they (and everyone else, atp) are concerned, they're just brothers. Plain and simple.

Scar and Cub grew up without their parents, and were primarily raised by their maternal grandmother, the only human in their family. She taught them anything she knew about their mother, their fathers, and their magic. Thus, Scar and Cub practiced with their vex magic until they were finally able to properly wield it. (Vex magic has many capabilities, especially among family members, but the primary way it manifests is by having a particular trait that it can amplify. Scar, for example, can amplify someone or something's strength.) Scar had a tougher time with it, and it often backfired on him. That, combined with him being incredibly accident-prone, is how he ended up suiting his name so well.

In his late teens, Scar sustained an injury that caused major nerve damage and hindered his ability to walk, but with his magic he was still able to walk with the help of mobility aids (such as canes and crutches, and after a few years, a wheelchair). He refused to believe that it was irreversible, and when Cub made him a set of magic-powered walking braces, he thought his problems were solved. But that is not how chronic pain/illness works, even in a world with magic. So, he still uses a variation of aids, but the braces have to be used sparingly, as they draw from his magic and tire him out more quickly. That's why he mostly uses them when he's HOTGUY YEAH THAT'S RIGHT THIS IS A SUPERHERO AU.

Hotguy was hired by King Ren to head the Royal Guard and protect the city (and the king) from "nefarious evildoers". Of course, he mostly uses it as an excuse to play superhero, to which Cub is unwittingly dragged into. He's Scar's "guy in the chair", and even though he mostly just complains about Scar taking unnecessary risks, they both know he loves it.

he was 5'3" previously, he's now more like five feet maybe a little bit less. if you were to measure him and mikey back to back, mikey would be a tiny bit taller. you can't really tell yet, though, since donnie currently can't stand, and up until now he was constantly on tip-toes. he's also just very underweight right now, which makes him seem even smaller. as he recovers and gains some weight back, he'll seem a bit less itty-bitty.

It's completely gone! his tummy and hips are now just like the other exposed parts of his body, like his arms and legs-- just skin and scales. I don't think it ever actually came up in the main part of the comic, but is illustrated in his reference image in the masterpost! Also don't worry, no ill-effects from being crop-topped. It'll just take a bit of getting used to. (If anything, it's a bit of a boon at the moment for the rest of the fam. A lot of medical care is a lot easier without plastron blocking the patient's entire torso.)

Oh gosh. It's hard to say because it's such a spectrum... It would have to be a pretty nasty injury for the witchdoctors to not be able to do something about it. But assuming they can't... Big Mama would never outright ask the Gems to perform on a serious injury, but the twins would definitely feel pressure to continue performing for as long as they possibly could, and to keep recovery time as short as possible. If they had to take time off to heal, they would, (and have in the past,) but they'd definitely be impatient to get back on the field. If the injury is truly so bad that one or both of them can no longer perform, they'd probably both retire, (though extremely reluctantly, and doing so would be incredibly heartbreaking for them and cause them a lot of grief and guilt,) because neither would want to go on without the other. There might be some pushback from Big Mama, though, and the uninjured party could potentially be convinced, with enough time and enough conversations, to make a comeback...

Poorly. It'd probably go about the same way it did for Donnie, except worse the second time around. They'd probably both be in trouble for it-- Leo for keeping things for her, and Donnie because she (correctly) assumes that he's 'influenced' Leo somehow, since he did the same thing first.

lmao april is maybe in a TEENSY bit over her head, bless her. splinter definitely struggled over whether or not to bring her with him to see big mama. he tried to convince her to let him escort her back home once he realized where he had to go, but of course she wouldn't hear of it. thought about having her wait outside, but... is so reluctant to leave her alone in the hidden city... knew she would probably pushback anyway, too, so...

Big shifting update . . .

Ok guys so… I woke up really stressed this morning because I failed to get into the void to shift last night, and I also have a lot of preparation to be doing for my exam soon and I’m supposed to be shifting to avoid doing said exam. I’ve been ill anyways so I’m not in school today which is so lucky.

I decided I need to calm down a bit and forget about it so I have a clear head and I can think straight about what I’m doing. I started to think about my interests and stuff lol

I was in bed on my phone and I got bored of it pretty quickly since I was tired, I do wake up at 6am so I had been up since then and I just wanted to sleep. So I closed my eyes and I was relaxed and stuff so I was like how about I start robotically affirming I’m pure consciousness. That’s what I do to get into the void. Andddd it worked!! Once I was in the void I started to affirm I have already shifted to my desired reality and I was feeling so many symptoms.

When I’m shifting I always feel like I’m being dragged out of my body if that makes sense. Throughout all the years I’ve been doing this I always get that symptom. The thing is I get physically uncomfortable very quick and wake up instead of persisting, so I said to myself I will persist because I NEED to shift sooo bad. So I did.

But that’s the thing, I was in that state for ages, floating, tingly, numb. For like an hour. But I said to myself I need to persist I need to shift I’m literally almost there. I was literally shifting.

But it was dragging foreverrrr and it was getting painful, I felt like I was making no progress.

So, any tips? Why do my attempts last soooo painfully long. Can anyone help? Give me some tips and I’ll try them once I’ve eaten breakfast because I’m starving. Thank you!!

muehehehehe..... evil evil evil laughter.... oh do i have a ninjago au for you...... heres the first more detailed alterego au (two part)post i made! but im gonna redo it just for you since some stuff has changed since then (im gonna tag you when i post it, hehe!) all my alterego posts (including shitposts LOL) can be found here under the tag "ninjago alterego au", but some first baby alterego posts were tagged "hellz alterego au" :) this au was firstly inspired by @coastyreef 's (hi coast!) knight harumi au but then it spiraled into its own thing... its an extremely self indulgent au that basically says "i am cringe and i am free let me ship toxic yuri". it takes place during the sog and hunted era and involves my one and only lesbian seliel. because of fucking course what the hell did yall expect.... i have her on my profile pic i have been drawing and thinking about her non stop since that faithful december 6th. basically - the ninja decide that instead of juggling protecting the royal family, protecting and looking for the oni masks and looking for wu and misako, they will lock the fuck in and have to take things seriousely: but someone still has to look after the royal family, since they have one of the oni masks and may be attactked. so cole comes up with a genius plan to ask seliel (the phantom) to do it, and she agrees. and then ruins harumis plans for six months straight making harumi hate her ass so bad that they want her dead. oh btw i use any pronouns for seliel and they/he for harumi here because as stated before i am free. so for months phantom being the royal guard ruins all harumis plans and they literally rip their hair out at night trying to get rid of this fuckass cochroach that just wont die. they send mr e after the phantom. the phantom comes out alive somehow. they try to send other guards to kill him. nothing works. so they just hate his ass SOOOO BAD THEY WANT HIM GONE !!!! BUT NO MATTER WHAT. THE PHANTOM PERSISTS. during these six months the phantom fights mr e (who sleeps in harumis closet btw and is of course, echo) a lot because harumi sends him to kill him like every other night at one point. their fights are intense and awesome..... trust me.... after that six horrid months of trying to get rid of that fucking cockroach harumis snaps and BOMBS the palace and runs to the labirynth of hiroshi where sons of garmadon just snatched the oni mask of hatred from the ninja. and phantom (thinking that princess harumi was kidnapped) goes after them and when he gets there hes like. holy fuck youre evil.... and harumi and mr e are like. hell fucking yeah we are!!! now youre gonna pay for being an annoying ass motherfucker !!!!!!!!! and then they beat him up this is. the general gist.... a lot of other, more or less serious stuff happens too. like lloyd goes to mystakes teashop earlier, misako is kidnapped earlier, the canon timeline is shifted around. garmadon still gets revived and the finale of canon sog plays out the same but jay looses his arm during the destruction of the bounty (thanks yanma) and cole sees seliel getting ran over by mr e so hunted plays out slightly differently in the first realm for the 4 og ninja. and then theres the shitpost stuff of mr e throwing his motorcycle at phantom (thanks yanma) and phantom having a "funny teenage girl crush" on princess harumi like twirling her hair and kicking her feet on her bed while she writtes about how princess harumi smiled at her today type shit. very silly and makes me laugh. im OBSSESED with this au and i talk to my friends (hi yanma) about it a lot. and i have spread my illness to them also (hi yanma). if you have any questions feel free to hmu!!! i will gladly answer:) alterego taglist (ask to be added/removed): @chebyshevptera (hi yanma), @jammahanna
