- 2012 video game creepypasta energy. He’s like Polybius but stupid. TurboTime is haunted. He is Cabinet Man

- Retro arcade cabinets are just such Awesome Machines. It’s such a unique aesthetic, buzzy CRTs and flashing colorful lights, the little chiptune sound effects… the only thing that comes close to the ‘character’ embodied by arcade cabinets is maybe themed roller coasters, or real life animatronics. He definitely has that kind of appeal. The Machine

- wreck it ralph is an amazing film and king candy is a really clever villain and I love the twist and how he relates to king candy (most normal answer)

- THE HORROR APPEAL. His Symbolism…. He’s the Creepy Ghostly Skull man . The bringer of death even. Also the fact he “haunts the narrative” because he’s so rarely seen but everyone is terrified of him, and he underlies so much of the conflict. (Like: DONT BECOME LIKE HIM.) It’s like he’s become a paranormal entity, only seen in glimpses, or dismissed as nothing but a terrible memory. His presence has become intangible, but it’s dark and all encompassing. Maybe they tried to forget. For 25 years they thought he was dead. But he was lurking in the depths of game central station hearing everything. (Don’t even get me started on the horror implications of his cybug form because Oh My God)

- but most importantly I have a personal vendetta against him because he gave me nightmares at age 14 and I also kin him slightly

Listen, as someone who has been hyperfixated on Greek mythology since I was like 5, Kaos is an amazing show.

I don't care if it's inaccurate. I know that it's inaccurate. The show said that from the start, that myths are left up for interpretation. I don't care that some of the relationships the show never actually existed in mythology because they are beautiful. I don't care if the minotaur isn't actually half man half beast, but rather he's a man that's become a monster because of how he was neglected and mistreated.

Yes, the show is inaccurate when it comes to a lot of Greek mythology. I've quite literally spent hours reading multiple novels about it, and I know almost every single myth by heart. But the fact that the show is inaccurate doesn't matter to me.

Because it's really fucking good. The casting and storytelling is incredible. The visuals and the jokes and the insane soundtrack. The old man yaoi that never used to exist. It's insane. And that's what Greek mythology has always been at its core. It's always been chaotic. It's always been "kaos."

And that's why I love the show so much. It's probably one of, if not the best on screen adaptations of Greek myths that I've seen. People complaining that it's inaccurate have missed the entire purpose of the show.

One thing I love about Percy in the series is how you can just tell he sees Grover as his best friend. He was blatantly told that a friend of his would betray him on the quest,and he chose Grover without hesitation anyways. A friend will betray him,but it ain't gonna be my nigga Grover.

Also the way he just smiles when he looks at Grover,like in the scene on the train when he's grumpy after being woken up early. His face literally just says, "That's my boy."
