Jason “my family doesn’t know im alive” Todd and Danny “my family doesn’t know I’m dead” Fenton going alongside each of their plans my beloved. like Danny will absolutely go head-to-head with all of Gotham to support his new best friend on all his crime lord endeavors while he drags Jason to also attend collage with him. They are roommates and there never seems to a mention of family from either side. It’s an unspoken understanding they have. They met because Crime alley as a ghost lair thrummed with so much loneliness, it was at first the perfect place for Danny to hide his ecto signature in. But then he saw the dumbass whose lair it was lean his motorcycle just a tad too much when making a sharp turn to an alley, he sweeped the floor through a lifted chain link that passed his body but not his helmet. Yep that’s right the red thing got stuck. Danny who at the moment happened to be watching through his window snorted. Much to his horror because if not a ghost that dude could’ve gotten his head flung off.

Still, the scene was ridiculous.

On a whim he irrationally sees the police closing in on the guy and panicked at the thought of the guy using intangibility to free himself so Danny phased them both through his apartment wall and left the guy sprawled in his couch. Jason didn’t freak out but that’s normal when one’s got a concussion, one the guy immediately denied having as Danny laid out the medical supplies. The idiot proceeded to almost flatten four steps to the door with his stubbornness. He also said “I’m asexual” in the most deadpan voice as Danny dropped him back in the couch.

Danny sighed. Clearly though, he’d done so too early in the night because the guy kept trying to go, kept trying to knock Danny out, kept trying to slash him with knifes Danny didn’t know he had stashed. He’d only disarmed the guy from his guns. The visible ones apparently, cause at one point the guy did take out a gun and shoot until the ammo ran out and then teetered the thing like it was an art prop and hit his moon lamp.

Danny "yeah you aren’t officially my friend until you’ve tried to kill me" fenton my guys.

Anyways both keep having the same argument over if Danny technically kidnapped Jason or not. Danny holds the fact that the police at least didn’t see the guy make the ridicule. Jason argued that happened cause he was sporting a concussion. Danny argued he got that after.

Jason at first thinks the guy's a meta, but no. Danny introduces himself, sheepily now that he recognizes this is who the lair he invaded is from. He bandages him and tries to cook for him. If Danny didn’t have ice powers he most certainly would’ve burned the apartment. Jason then proceeds to kick him out of his own kitchen and make them both enchiladas. It’s the most normal both had in a while with another person and the air seems oddly settled. From then on, Jason constantly invited himself over, under the pretense that this was his territory and therefore he could drop in unannounced. Danny who has actual powers says he only allows this because Jason cooks very well.

Danny stays away from the crime fighting business unless his buddy is in deep shit he can’t get himself out. Also it’s Danny’s turn to cover for his vigilante friend which Sam and Tucker give him so much shit for. (but also advice)

And they were roommates. (omg) Danny effectively derails Jason’s big comeback plans by casually dropping ghost lore every two days. Like,

Jason, talking about how he doesn’t want Bats snooping on his territory:

Danny: Just don’t let them in

Jason: ??

Danny: yeah!! Hasn’t Batman died and got revived??? You can totally kick out death touched people you don’t want entering on your lair.

Jason: …I can?

Danny: Yep dude, your lair’s supposed to feel safe.

Jason: wait does that mean I can kick you out?

Danny: First this is my apartment. Second, im dead, not dead touched. Third, it’s too late to get rid of me. bitch.

Anyways Jason is super excited. You mean to tell him he can actually deny people over to his territory haunt?? (Yes it’s only to people who have died and came back but still!! The sample size is exactly the type of people he doesn’t want to see—!)

Joker my beloathed can’t step foot in Crime Alley.

(Jason’d feel a lot safer if the clown was dead but the possibility of his murderer turning into a ghost and their little loophole not applying on the clown is too scary to contemplate.)

Anyways, Jason loves experimenting with the power. It can go from simply making people shudder and not want to enter crime Alley to straight up not letting them enter like there’s an invisible wall blocking the way.

Jason because he’s hurt that Bruce never even patrols Crime Alley and also because he’s petty put B under the category of “invisible wall” blacklist. His reasoning is that the man doesn’t even attempt to enter Crime Alley. To him it’s surely just a place shadowed in tragedy. (anyways that’s it’s the place he met Jason)

Ironically, Jason totally forgets that Batman does venture into Crime Alley one day in the whole year. The day he met Jason.

Okay. He didn’t forget at first. The first year Jason remembers cause it was only a few months till then but then the next— Jason forgets that today’s the anniversary of the day’s Bruce’s parents died. He forgets to allow B in when he feels a slight tug and dismiss the feeling that prompts Bruce to investigate because he literally can’t enter Crime Alley. He starts the trialsTM, he scouts on the very edge and sees people the whole day enter and get out and cross with no problem but Bruce can’t.

It’s literally just Bruce.

Time to call Constantine, i guess.

#bat shenanigans ensue #JSJSJS okay so i dont have a well versed timeline of events but two years after utrh who HASNT died of the batfam #cause those are the ones who are gonna go undercover to find what shady shit is this: )#im going with timmy cass and duke #sorry steph i KNOW you have died #the others have plausible deniability from my part #the trio is gonna come down hard on this unsuspecting pair #let's just say constantine just had one spare magical rune for each of them so they'll be able to identify who was powerful enough to do it #and duke found civvie jason. cass found civvie danny and tim also found jason a la squared. in his red hood get up later that night #the only useful photos are from tim's side but anyways since they got three suspects (one suspected to be the other. so really-- two)#they decide to split each other up and tag one each (whoever doesn't get the correct guy loses)#tim calls dibs on the twink. cass rolls her eyes and narrows her eyes at the red hood and duke smirks when he gets to keep his guy #he's not cheating if he didn't protest to getting to have the guy he already saw the aura of. he's sure he is IT #coincidentally duke happens to be the only bat jason doesn't recognize (and vice versa)#meanwhile cass is gonna be the one shadowing red hood which at this point he doesn't kill that much since he has his rules verymuch enforce #he does kill tho #so at some point they're gonna clash but at the start of the investigation no #let them be siblings your honor #big sis cass and her little brother 6'4 jay #and tim finally is gonna be the one to smoothly get himself in the conversation with cryptid roommate civilian danny fenton #genius dumbasses protection club #their first meeting is of course arranged but no less meet cute coffee shop au #anyways jason wants to know why the fuck hes got a bat tagging along with him so out of the blue and also why can't he fucking chase her of #cass is curious about how the red hood's mood constantly changes within her range yet he never attacks her despite his hurt-longing-anger #the boy who doesn't make noise fucking screeches when she sneaks up to him #and duke fucking brings his hands to block the chernobyl reject glow stick sun that's stands next to tim #while tim looks like his whole system is rebooting cause that's jason todd #dp x dc #danny phantom #jason todd

#poem #poetry #spilled ink #spilled thoughts #long story short i have made choices in my life such that my only option when i hit this present juncture #was to move home and i am not handling the lack of choice well #in my first year living here especially i bought beautiful fragile things because i love beautiful fragile things and because i thought #i was on the path that my next move would be my last one. i was going to buy a home and that would be it and i'd only need to pack up #my whole life once more and so i could justify the vintage vases and such. but the past couple of years have been brutal on me #and i've made choices that i stand by and choices that i don't and now i'm moving home and it's less than ideal but i'll make it work #perhaps this is short story long #anyway. before i first moved in my roommate texted me from home depot because she and her boyfriend were at home depot #and i was at work at the time. and she wanted to know what color i wanted my room because they were gonna paint my room that day #and i didn't have time to make a decision and she's an artist with a great eye so i sent her my pinterest decor board and said maybe a gree #like this kind of green? and she got this gorgeous green reminiscent of a paris green that looks amazing with all my art on the walls #but i just had to take the art down. i'm in the middle of the task actually. and now it's just this big green expanse #and i'm not feeling so good about leaving this place #but the way i felt so safe and so loved when i got that text and when i got here and saw that the room was painted bc they wanted me to sta #the past few years have been not so good in a lot of ways like i said but this place was an island of peace for me when things were rough #anyway. fragile. thanks for listening

when i say “religion books” i DO also mean the books about wiccans, satanists, and various folk religions in addition to the ones everyone knows. they’re taking up a shitton of room on the shelf, which either means the patrons don’t know the books are there or they do not care about these books. so if they don’t go off my display then they go OFF MY SHELVES this isn’t a museum & we only have so much space!!

#glass animals #honestly i wore out dreamland sm my brain took a lonnng break from expecting anything from them?? idk i’m just huh????#like….. when i say wore out #i cannot describe how much i listened to it #i usually have some vague idea even if it’s a ridiculous number #like 52 times in a month for an album or something (has happened)#i cannot recall w this #gonna say bc 2020 & they were Literally the last band i saw live. next morning everyone found out about everything annd lockdown. no joke #so it was big dreamland time when it dropped and revisiting their past albums when i broke out of its spell lmao #(pretty sure before that like january was when i listened to déjà vu 100+ times in a row tho so oop. it was a tough day lol)#anyway seeing this aww man. i really have had this band with me for a long long time. 🥹 i remember hearing gooey on the radio one night #driving home from work late @ night in 2014. the drive was so short i couldn’t be arsed to fish out my ipod & plug it in #sometimes so just popped on a good station i had preset. started the car and heard this *voice* and i was like who????#had to check the station bc it was an alt station and i thought i had it on another one which was fine i was just v confused #it was in the middle of the song & i was immediately anxious to know the name hoping i’d hear it & it wouldn't just flow into the next song #then the dj would pile the names together after x number of songs played bc i was tiired (but woulda stayed in the car ngl). got lucky &#ran inside to find it then yelled at my roommate the next day that she HAD to listen to it during a smoke session after work #(i was right & it blew her miiind)#god. what a fucking time. what a fucking band. idk what the disc horse is surrounding them now since they blew up via tiktok #i’m sure people are v quick to say they’re overrated bc of that but idk & i’m glad i don’t know. they’ll always be this #highly inventive incredible band i stumbled upon for the perfect night drive home after a long long shift #a band that came back from a Horrible accident that should have ended 1 of their lives & somehow didn’t & should have ended them #as a band (like still cannot believe Joe was drumming in 2020 & i saw it with my own eyes like how tf???!?)#a band deserving of all of its successes. glass animals forever

why does everything i get really into always end up being so god damn niche. by the year 2035 i am going to be blogging exclusively about the interpersonal relationships between the pillbugs and snails hiding underneath the bricks lining the flowerbeds in my parent's garden.

i need eddie to get another guy friend in season 8, and buck loses his shit about it (again), so he breaks up with t because he's convinced that the weird feeling he gets when he sees them together is because he is Really attracted to the new guy.

#like things with t are fine cuz he likes exploring this new side of himself even if t doesnt always match his energy but whatever its fun #and maybe at work chim is the one who brings up eddies new friend and he is immediately just. what new friend?#chim laughs and says. tbf last time eddie got a new friend you attacked him so you could date his friend. hes probably keeping it to himsel #and bucks like. dude what. that was. yeah it was shitty of me but it was a one time thing. i wont do it again...#and when eddie shows up for shift buck immediately asks about his new friend and eddie tells him about the guy without hesitation #after shift tho buck is like. why didnt you tell me about him? after t i get why you dont want to but im just. you dont have to worry man.#buck. i know. im not worried. anyway he and i are gonna head to a bar to catch the game. you want to come with? you can bring t if hes free #oh. thats. thatd be okay? i dont want to idk ruin the vibe by bringing a date #nah man. itll be fine #and so he and t go to the bar and eddies already inside with the new friend and its Fine. its Great actually because t gets along with eddi #and the new guy and the new guy makes eddie laugh and doesnt miss a beat and knows more about the teams record this season than buck and #buck is doing Fine. this guys smile is big and his eyes are bright and when he laughs he sorta leans into eddies space alittle and its Fine #the night ends and buck and t go back to his apartment and buck cant stop thinking about that guys hand when it clapped down on eddies #shoulder or the look on his face as he teased eddie about the beer he drinks (cuz its kinda bad but only buck can say that) and buck Cant.#he wants that guy. he wants his hands and grin and teasing voice all to himself and not on eddie.#so he breaks up with t and ts confused af cuz i thought things were going good?#yeah. i just. i want to explore my options yk now that ive uh figured out i like men.#and its a clean break. not dramatic or messy. t tells him to call if he every changes his mind. buck wont.#bucks trying to not pry about eddies new friend and he doesnt grill eddie or anyone and just waits and listens to all the new info he gains #and eventually eddie invites him out to watch another game because whatever team they were watching made it to the playoffs #and when he gets there eddies like. no t tonight?#nah we. uh. we broke up.#eddie says sorry man that sucks. and the new guy is like. honestly he didnt even seem that into you which what an idiot. youre great.#and its good because the new guy splits his attention between the two of them now. eddie isnt the only one getting hands and grins and eyes #and the third time theyre at the bar the guy follows him to bathroom and kisses him hard against the door before pulling back with a #panicked sorry and leaving and when buck finds eddie after hes like. what happened? new guy ran out of here without even saying goodbye #he kissed me in the bathroom. i think uh. i think he was kinda freaking out about it and thats why he left.#and eddie just blinks at him before being like. buck. buck you said you werent going to do this again.#i didnt mean to! and buck means it. he just saw the way that guy made eddie laugh and put his hands on eddie and had eddies attention and #oh.

Girl help I really need to do the test tasks for a new job or else my life is gonna get very bad real soon, but all I want to do is draw ttrpg characters.

#majek says shit #ok so Im jobless since august but I had a safe amount saved to live a little too comfortably until about now #and now I have money left to live relatively normally until January and after that uhhhhh bad 0 money left #I got caught in a trap of “animators are always wanted in gamedev you'll find a job in 2 weeks” thing everyone seems to genuinely believe #turns out every studio on earth is looking for Seniors and Leads or 3D animators that turn out to be 3D generalists able to do everything #from concept to every kind of model optimised for games and texturing and rigging and mocap and keyframe stuff and vfx is also nice #and I'm like “hello am animator know how to make character move. i can give them skeleton but not necessarily if in 2D”#��have a few years of experience in gamedev but got fired just before the premiere of my one title that will list me as animator”#got fired along with many others because the publisher backed out and there was no money to keep most of the artists this close to launch #so far only two studios followed through with the recruitment. one makes casino games and asked me 3 questions through mail #they wanted to know why im looking for a job. have I heard about them before and how much I wanna earn. also added that my personality #should shine through my answers. sure xd. the other is a mocap studio and they want me to do a test. in software I last used 5 years ago #and its mocap which I dont like and know almost nothing about how to do it #and I WANNA DRAW. I made a disaster of a cleric to replace Cayden in the old party and Im itching to draw him properly #also there is secret satan and a whole queue of scenes from recent sessions #including the lase one when Cayden was possessed by an ancient wizard (?) for a few seconds and now has mild ptsd #there were such cool visuals there because he was connected to a tentacle that pierced the back of his neck and his eyes went black #and I had to fight the party from that moment. hit them once with a big fire damage spell and then passed a save. and then failed again #fortunately the party destroyed the artifact that did the posessing and it ended. but my boy simultaneously experienced some cosmic horror #beyond his comprehension. and kinda saw his own hands casting fire at his friends. all while he was fighting in his head with some tentacles #and being watched by first disembodied black eyes and then by a shadowy figure #now he has weird nightmares of more cosmic horror and gets uneasy if he looks at the night sky for too long ;o;#I also have a drawing of the party celebrating their promotion to captains and like 3-4 sketches and one other big scene #in which Cayden has a romantic tension moment with another character while casting prot from evil on them to save them from mind control #also I have a commission to finish that a friend paid for LAST NOVEMBER #but that mocap studio is waiting for this test for so long now I have to do it if its the last thing I do in my life

#sorry im posting so many dots but HHHHHHHHH #122am i decided to assemble the eyes (not attach yet im too tired) and attach the cutie mark #im so fucking tired when did it get this late man fuck #also i had to do a shit job attaching the cutie mark bc i have a feeling its gonna look bad once i stuff this #like this fabric is so shit it might just rip if i overstuff #or worse it might just make a big hole or something showing #((Mark It Up plays ominously in the distance))#anyway ill attach the eyes and stuff the whole thing tomorrow. no fussing about stuff texture allowed.#tbh i could even just glue the eyes down but i know itll bug me if i dont. THAT you will remember #that will leave an impression on you more than a photograph #tales from diana #why do i always feel the need to emphasize Man's beauty...#wc is seriously quite gorgeous himself and it does seem to be generally recognized #im sure he's got a good idea of it himself 🙄 but at least this one never made a living off of it #he's a lot more 'my type' than Man. like i said Man is so handsome it's almost unexciting #i mean it's not. it is exciting. the novelty. the rarity of it. plus he's quite just. interpersonally charming.#wc looks like someone id find beautiful in any stage of my life. someone who would stand out to *me*#although he is quite conventionally attractive himself too. it's not totally unpredictable that women would notice him.#it's like. u know how logan is actually the most popular member of big time rush?#when james is actually the most Standard of Beauty of them? perceived versus practical attractiveness?#wc is practically beautiful and Man is perceived as beautiful #i think too much about both of them

MONSTER TRUCKS!!!!!!!

#They ran out of comfy sizes of shirts so I had to get one that actually fit and will probably shrink #But it glows in the dark!!#They flipped! They did doughnuts! They got big air on ramps! I saw a big car do a cartwheel!#They have a like construction truck that unties the trucks and but it looks like if scoopy truck was a dinosaur and it’s eyes lit up.#the also have it so that you can judge on your phone how good you think the drivers did on their tricks which really added to the fun #I love an activity I know nothing about but I walk in and they’re like “these gladiator’s fates are in your hands!”#And then it became the price is right because I was getting an A+ in Monster Trucks when my score was lining up with the expert score #A Time Was HAD #And then we got ice cream and ate it in a repurposed train car #fourth grade boys PRAY for nights like these.#the tickets were super cheap and it was so fun

im actually a great person sometimes and i think i dont give myself enough credit for that.

#like when i was out with my family the other day #and we were walking out of this big building #and this women was trying to push a stroller out #and these doors were not very accessibility friendly #and i didnt know her and she didnt even ask for help #but as i was walking past i noticed out of the corner of my eye that she needed some help #(she was kind of trapped between the stroller and Door 1 trying to get past Door 2 but she couldnt reach the handle or push it open)#and i stopped and opened the door and held it open for her to get out and then wished her happy holidays and left #basically yes i am bragging that was SUPER punk rock of me you should all compliment me #and last year i was doing the same outing with my family going to the same places (its kind of a tradition)#and we passed some buskers on our way to some place and one specific guy was playing a violin really well #and i had. no cash.#and i knew my mom would not give me cash to give to the busker #so whilst we were strolling #we stopped at a stand selling pieces of handmade belgian chocolate in fun shapes #and all my family was getting gifts for each other and other family members #and my mom was paying temporarily (we'd pay her back when we got home)#and i saw a chocolate violin and asked my mom to get it for me #and my mom thought it was odd that i was getting something for myself and no one else but agreed #and i insisted i get to carry it back to the car #and as we walked back i made certain i passed the violin busker again #and he was packing up so i ran up to him as fast as i could and gave him the violin and told him happy holidays and merry christmas #and he was super thankful #that was so punk rock of me #he was so happy and that made me so happy #i hope hes doing alright #he was really good at violin #anyway i definitely mean to toot my own horn #bc i never tell anyone about any of this stuff so i dont seem like im bragging but it really was cool #three pigeons in a trench coat
