when eddie says you know it’s like that thing when you meet somebody and you just… click. you know what i mean? and buck says i do, i really do. in that sad puppy tone he has, eyes soft and a bit let down—he’s not really talking about tommy, too, isn’t he? because him and tommy didn’t just click. he said it himself, it’s exhausting trying to get his attention so why look so sad if it’s just tommy he’s interested in? why think about eddie in that moment? because he was definitely thinking of eddie. how after the initial jealousy, it was easy—he barely tried. he wasn’t exhausted to get eddie’s attention at the end because they just… click. you know what i mean?

But honestly i do understand why its a hot button issue and why someone would knee-jerk react like that, its just. Such a basic part of growing up. I wasn’t even referring to teenagers!! Everyone knows teenagers are Like That they grow out of it, its fine (<- doesnt have teenagers, cried in the bathroom the first time her kid called her mean). I was fully referring to grown ass adults with taxes and jobs and college classes.
