Days 3-4/30 of productivity

Yesterday I officially started my internship and it was surprisingly fun! I'll be working in this lab for the next month. Here they check the quality of the animal feed using various methods according to the standards of the company/law. It's a very famous and big company here in Italy, so I feel very grateful for this opportunity. Of course it was difficult to retain lots of very specific info at once (and there's more to come) but putting it to practice immediately helps for sure.

In terms of studies I didn't do much because these first days were very tiring, I still have to find a rhythm. But I was productive for sure, 8 hours of work in the lab is surely something.

I’m having useless mornings because my sleep schedule is getting messed up by my new meds. Even though I’m really tired, I’m doing my best to stay active. I worked hard on tasks that I’ve been procrastinating on and had a great time doing an afternoon run. The weather is getting cold at night so I made myself some soup when I got home. I also played Hogwarts Legacy before bedtime and it helped me to relax.

today i was able to get a few hours of practice in, plus had my piano lesson and chamber music class, and even did two biology assignments! currently reading babel by r.f kuang and im really enjoying it. hope i can continue this challenge fairly consistently :,}.

paperwork 📤 got my medical tests and reports done 📤 submitted my last set of grade related documents (+ got them approved) 📤 visa related documents 📤 student loan related documents 📤 uni health document submissions in other tasks 👜 went clothes shopping gah it was a whole thing 👜 minor alterations and stuff [1/2] 🧹 lots and lots of chores 🥘 cooked my meals a couple times this week 👟 4.5km walk daily on average (without counting the 11+km walk yesterday T-T) fun stuff 🩰 still figuring out Dash by NMIXX...i've not been getting a lot of time but I've mastered until the chorus nevertheless 💌 went out for lunch with my bestie the sushi was >>>>> 📺 Never Let Me Go and also Where Your Eyes Linger (more or less similar themes and concept and both had top tier yearning and buildup but the climax fell flat at this rate I'll end up with yet another wip story i will never complete 🥲) 🏏 it's T20 WC season!!! and we made it to the finals lets goooo current soundtrack/s aka the IU brainrot 🎂 i am, indeed, 23 and a riddle ✨ whatever~ 💳 yellow C A R D 👡 wearing better shoes thinking thoughts 🔋 just exhaustion from being packed with work... but it's satisfying getting work done :)) 🌙 wonky because it's cricket season xD 💌 my besties have been calling :") we're all so scared of moving away and we're already missing each other so every conversation feels a lot more bittersweet and its all so sdjgfkadfkjgaj gahhh I'm gonna be so homesick soon

Wow this week has already been a whirlwind. This afternoon/ evening is another studying-at-home day. I’m hoping to get a little further in my coursework and thesis proposal but now my analysis is lagging behind. Honestly grad school seems genuinely impossible sometimes.

Day 2/30 of productivity

So today I've studied for a 2ish (maybe more) hours. I wanted to do more but with this heat (34°C w/ 60% humidity) it's very difficult to stay focused. Biblio was full so I couldn't go there either.

Tbh I'm a little anxious for tomorrow, it will be my first day of internship plus I'm so scared to miss the bus to go there (I've actually dreamt of this last night). Wish me luck 🍀

140 days of productivity: day 46/140

I started my day very early, around 5:30 am, and finished the last chapters of The Things You Only See When You Slow Down. I wouldn't say I loved the book, but some of the initial passages were useful. I found the ending repetitive and uneventful.

Right after that, I started Days at the Morisaki Bookshop because I recently saw a mutual reading this book and I got curious. I've already identified two problems: first of all, the edition I downloaded is in Portuguese from Portugal and contains slang, words and sentence constructions that seem completely foreign to me (hello, I'm Brazilian and I speak Brazilian Portuguese!). It makes the book feel kinda weird to me and I have the feeling that I’m reading something that Camões himself wrote. Also, I'm involuntarily comparing the book to Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop, since the plots are very similar, and so far I find Hyunam-dong better than Morisaki. I'm still at the beginning and I hope to be pleasantly surprised as I read it.

I cleaned my house in the morning and went to my mother-in-law's for lunch. My brothers-in-law were also there and we had a good family meal. Their property is large and in the late afternoon we took a walk through the garden. We picked blackberries, beets, chives, spinach and lettuce — which made my dinner possible, since I had almost nothing in my fridge! I cooked the vegetables and roots when I got home and made a juice with the fresh blackberries. It was a great day and I feel happy.

This week is already kinda.. bad. I mean I'm just sleep deprived. I haven't sleep properly for a looong period of time. I'm really stressed about tomorrow because I HATE Thursdays. I'm just hoping it would go really fast 💀

Also my new shoes are home already and I can't wait to wear them 🥰 I just hope they are the right size..

Anyway I started new K-drama, I try to get back to them. I really like the action ones that have much going on!

Tbh today was shit. I hope tomorrow is gonna be way better 🦥

walked 10k steps just to get cramps and sleep for hours missing the study time. we LOVE productivity. also messed up my notes in classes because i was so sleepy too. my memory is so bad tho, i forgot what i studied on the weekend last week.
