25. how many physical movies do you own?: YAYAYAYAYYYY OKAY LET ME TELL YOU 😀 31 dvds including my prized secondhand full beatles anthology and barbarella and when harry met sally from taylor and TWO OF US 😁 anddd 19 blurays including my prized secondhand copy of THE LAST WALTZ 🥰 and velvet goldmine and yeah. vampire academy 🤭. im so so so so so so so lucky that my library is always doing 2 for $1 dvd sales from their weeded collection AND i have a used book + record + dvd store that's the size of a costco warehouse in my city that sells dvds for so cheap it's insane. sooooooooooo yayayay i love movies on my shelf and i always watch them and enjoy it!!!!!! also btw i have physical copies of some of glee + some of riverdale + all rtd era doctor who but those aren't movies so they don't technically count for this hehe

30. are you looking forward to any upcoming releases?: midas man about brian epstein.. i don't care if it sucks i love that gay man. and i will count stuff that's come out recently i haven't had a chance to watch so: the people's joker, i saw the tv glow, and chosen one: alexandre daigle 😁🥰

so i have some time off next week which i’m so excited for, i finished off a project today (which i was no longer being paid for lol) and also i started a new job this week 😂 my new job is cute but i’m just doing it on top of my other job and working there in the evenings. i rly enjoy it but i’m SO TIRED 💌 i can’t wait to not do anything for a bit!!

how are you? are you excited for the weekend? it’s my birthday soon which is very lovely ♥️ my plan is to rest, relax and have some nice food. i really enjoyed the new chapter hehe because i love when they’re silly but when there’s also a healthy dose of tianshan 💘👹 please let me know how you’re doing! i feel like i was just working 24/7 this week and i’ve finally come back to earth so i’m looking forward to being a normal human again 😂

You're absolutely right though. I think it's so easy to think things will never get better and especially if you're like a praying person, (whether Muslim or Christian or anything like that) to think that you're not being listened to but the patience is half the trial i think but you always know that you'll never be turned away.

"A story doesn't need a theme in order to be good" I'm only saying this once but a theme isn't some secret coded message an author weaves into a piece so that your English teacher can talk about Death or Family. A theme is a summary of an idea in the work. If the story is "Susan went grocery shopping and saw a weird bird" then it might have themes like 'birds don't belong in grocery stores' or 'nature is interesting and worth paying attention to' or 'small things can be worth hearing about.' Those could be the themes of the work. It doesn't matter if the author intended them or not, because reading is collaborative and the text gets its meaning from the reader (this is what "death of the author" means).

Every work has themes in it, and not just the ones your teachers made you read in high school. Stories that are bad or clearly not intended to have deep messages still have themes. It is inherent in being a story. All stories have themes, even if those themes are shallow, because stories are sentences connected together for the purpose of expressing ideas, and ideas are all that themes are.
