Different possibilities of future Sera Myu

Since it is the 30th of June, Usagi's birthday, I thought I might finally post this thing that has been in my drafts for some months lol

Let's go!

So ever since the end of Musical Festival Chronicle, I've been thinking about what would be the next Sera Myu we get? During the Senshuuraku of Chronicle, Riko mentioned that when Kaguya-hime no Koibito ended, they weren't sure if Sera Myu would continue so most likely the same thing applies now. It might be possible Myu might end but we had Super Live this year so there are chances. Many might think that since the Crystal series finally comes to an end, so does anything else related to Sailor Moon, but it is very much certain that they will keep pushing out merch as it has been very profitable so far and even the Sailor Moon Museum announced that it will reopen in 2024 so there might be more musicals just like back in the day! Although we still haven't gotten any news regarding it and I for sure thought we would get some new info today... ANYWAY we have gone through all the main 5 arcs, one short story and one original so what next? I have a few ideas. (check terms at the end of the post if confused)

1) Third installment in the Snow Kaguya series

For me, it didn't really seem like Snow Kaguya was fully defeated in Chronicle, as she was defeated in the same way as she was in KHnK so it feels super random that she would be defeated NOW so maybe they could do one more musical to finally defeat Princess Snow Kaguya (maybe as Eternal Sailor Moon)

2) Something completely new

It could be possible we might get something completely new and original. Who knows? lol

3) R movie or SuperS movie

Ever since KHnK, people have been wondering if the other two movies would be made into a musical, although KHnK bore no resemblance to the movie as it pretty much followed the manga short story to the T, it is still possible that the other two movies will be made into musicals.

4) Another Story musical

ah the forgotten gem in the SM universe. I really love Another Story and I wish it would get more recognition. And since they are going with the Super/Mugen arc theme as KHnK takes place around that time and Another Story is supposed to take place after the Mugen arc so it could be a possibility. How it works in action is kinda ? as Another Story featured every major villain from Dark Kingdom arc to Mugen arc but they could focus it on the Oppositio Senshi and Apsu. It also would be cool if previous Senshi actors would return as the Oppositio Senshi (for example, AE Inners)

5) Kaguya Shima Densetsu/Snow Kaguya hybrid

So this is kind of similiar to my #1 idea but I feel like this needed to be its own thing. It could be possible that they'd fuse these two stories into one where Snow Kaguya replaces Dark Plasman and she is somehow connected to Kaguya Island since they have the same name(although she was given that name by Kakeru but who knows. Myulore tends to be confusing sometimes lol). And the reason for this is that I think that we will not get Kaguya Shima Densetsu remade and I will get to that soon

6) The Dracul series remake

I have my doubts about this since the Dracul series tends to be kinda confusing and since it's a story that requires all 3/4 musicals to be watched and that all to happen in the span of 3 years would be kinda hard to follow (during BanMyu it only took about a year and a half as they did multiple musicals in the span of one year but now they are doing only one musical a year, not counting Super Live). And the 4 musicals had way too many plot points in them so it would be fairly impossible to put that all in one musical. Also, it had kinda dark stuff in it so not sure if it would be allowed to be performed in this day and age lmao. (But I actually had a dream some time ago that Sayaka Okamura(Snow Kaguya) sang Muma no Oodri as Death Lamia so yeah lol)

7) Sailor V musical

I think the best point for a Sailor V musical would have been in 2018 after LMF as the main story has ended and the cast at the time had had their "graduation". So as much as I want a Sailor V musical I do not really see them doing it now when they have a cast of all the Senshi (unless they decide to do multiple musicals a year)

8) Kaguya Shima Densetsu remake

I do not see this happening as of now cause I just cannot see Dark Plasman played by a woman. I do not mean this with the intent to hurt anyone's feelings or to attack those who are fans of the all-female cast. It's just that Dark Plasman has such a deep voice that I just don't think it would be possible, or if they did, I think I would personally not enjoy it. I mean, if there is someone who has a deep voice like that, I would be happy to see it, but it just seems kinda unlikely as the deepest voice we have had in NewMyu this far are Syu Shiotsuki (UNV-LMF Sailor Uranus) and Kei Oogi (UNV Kaolinite). So unless they return to the mixed cast they had in BanMyu I do not see Kaguya Shima Densetsu happening in its original form in any way in the near future.

9) Other side stories

This is kinda random but maybe they could make musicals from other side stories. This seems very unlikely tho as the other side stories are a lot shorter and KHnK (unless they decide to make the Exam Battles into one musical or something idk) Demon Tree arc is also a possibility

10) NogiMyu R

Don't really see this happening as it has been quite a long time since the previous NogiMyu (although Super Live made a comeback so who knows). The only things to support this are the facts that at the end of NogiMyu they teased us with the Black Moon arc and ever since then it's been a possibility. Also on the Official Sailor Moon website, NogiMyu is still listed in the "Stage" section even after all this time so maybe they could be planning something with it. But if NogiMyu does make a comeback, I hope they do not do the DK arc AGAIN.

So there are many possibilities but will any of them come true? Who knows lol

We brought our gorgeously green and fragrant Christmas Tree home today, and started decking the halls listening to Holiday music, notably this beautiful version of Mon Beau Sapin by Roch Voisine. Mum and I adorned the tree in silver and red this year, and we feel it is very lovely indeed!

Today at work I was an usher for What You See Festival's The Queer Chronicles show and huge shout out to the Drek Manor, I never watch drag/burlesque performances outside usher shifts at work and this show was a beautiful spectacle from start to finish! All acts where unique and incredible on their own, the one that felt especially touching to me was the beautiful music of XILLAN. Having previously heard his talented twin brother Jeangu during Jesus Christ Superstar (also during an usher gig lol y'all gotta get a job in the entertainment industry if you can, it's neat) it was wonderful meeting a fellow Surinamese artist who feels out of place in the world. His song Mi Boi is a lullaby he hopes to sing to his future children and I found it beautifully soothing despite my Surinamese Sranan understanding still being embarrassingly limited.

Mum and I went shopping in the morning, and we and Dad had lunch in a lovely restaurant on l'Île Saint-Louis to celebrate his birthday. Then, we went for a stroll in the Botanical Garden, where dinosaurs, jellyfish and birds are lit at night! But even in the daytime, as sunshine broke through the clouds, it was very nice, quite festive, and I'm sure I could hear Silver Bells ringing in the background! Michael Bublé's cover of the Holiday tune is one of my favorite, too!

David Arnold’s ‘end of the world’ complex and multi-genre soundtrack.

From the Award-winning composer of Sherlock and Casino Royale comes a follow up to the hugely successful, Emmy nominated Good Omens soundtrack.

Good Omens series 2 premiered on Prime Video on 28th July. The series follows the odd couple, angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and demon Crowley (David Tennant) in their quest to sabotage the end of the World. The six-episode sequel to the popular adaptation of the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, concerns the Archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) arriving without his memories to Aziraphale’s bookshop. Aziraphale and Crowley attempt to find out what happened to Gabriel, whilst hiding him from Heaven and Hell, both eager to find him.

The Soundtrack

David Arnold’s soundtrack to Good Omens was first released in 2019 to favourable reviews, with BBC Music Magazine calling it “a rollicking trip to hell and back”. Blueprint Magazine described it as “a great listen” and Sci Fi Bulletin commented on “plenty of memorable themes” to conclude that “This is another work of art from Arnold”. At times nostalgic and eerie but always varied, beautiful and full of excitement, the Good Omens 2 soundtrack showcases Arnold’s every skill from his composer arsenal. Featured here are orchestral arrangements with sprinkling of Sugar Plum Fairy pizzicato and percussion, jaunty strings and mighty choral sweeps from Crouch End Festival Chorus. Added to the mix are rock guitar riffs, and psychedelic 70s sounds and all together they create a haunting otherworldly feel, complementing the fantasy and the quirky humour of the show. The spirited Waltz of the opening theme is also present in the second series and it wonderfully sets the scene for fantastical mayhem. In series 2, this robust, evocative, and funny music entity, becomes yet again another character in the story. Award-winning composer David Arnold is well known for his blockbuster scores, including Stargate, The Chronicles of Narnia: the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Hot Fuzz, Paul, Independence Day, 2 Fast 2 Furious and Casino Royale as well as for his TV work such as Sherlock and Dracula. AMBROSIA MILL, AZ - The Rainbow Mayhem Music Festival lived up to its name over the weekend as chaos erupted in the middle of one of its performances. In this case, the mass confusion wasn't the result of a pyrotechnic effect gone awry or overzealous fans going out of control. In fact, very few of the festivals visitors were there to see Earth Chronicle perform. The thumping bass and crackling electronic sounds that thumped from the speakers overall failed to seriously impress their audience, but the debut of a brand new, as of yet unnamed, song would surely turn the audience in their favor.

Approximately two minutes into the six minute song, several women in the audience began to feel discomfort in their clothing. By the four minute mark, a singular voice rang out, now determined to belong to one Jessica Ramirez of Sioux Falls, South Dakota: "Holy [expletive]! My [breasts] are growing!" It is easy to dismiss an individual experience, but the fact that it was now shared caused similar, affirming eruptions from many of the other women in the audience.

"At first, I thought it was just the heat that was making me uncomfortable," explained Anne Peters, a concert goer who had traveled from Vermont to be there. Her outfit was not unlike many of those who had attended the festival, except now the pearl-covered bikini seemed several sizes too small. At many points throughout the interview, she was forced to adjust them to make sure everything was covered. An investigation from our colleagues at KDBG that the event ultimately stemmed from a random audio sample the band had used to form the baseline of the song. Front-man Lawrence 'Lawman' Pearson said that the sample, simply titled BE112, was sourced from a audio library which the band had purchased a license to use. Pearson claimed that he was unaware of the subliminals (very low frequency tones, related to hypnotic suggestion) that were mixed into the track. It is now believed that the intense sound system of the festival amplified the subliminal effect, which caused those in attendance to gain, on average, six inches to their bust before the song was interrupted.

A settlement was reached with Roy G Biv, LLC to cover damages to the concert equipment during the chaos. No one in the audience has attempted to bring charges against the band.

As of the time of writing, the remaining four concerts in Earth Chronicle's tour have completely sold out. According to statement put out by Visionary Ink Records, they are looking into adding more cities to the tour to meet the needs of the Earth Chronicle's "growing fanbase." The record label did not return our request for further comment.
