Yeah, that makes sense. We used to have that problem a lot, to the point of a full system reset back in highschool. Ultimately it's dependent on the system and what your host needs, at least that's what I've noticed.

You gotta remember in times like this, that people are more resilient than you think. While we would miss you and hope the dormancy isn't too long... we'd be okay. Itd be okay. We'd wait for you to come back, and we'll have the shittiest lemon muffins prepared for when you do. 🥰✨

Andrew :< Going dormant can be scary, but ultimately it's often because you need a break from how shitty reality is. Hell, our host sometimes plans on going dormant to just take a break from it all. That doesn't make you less real though. (And, for the record, a lot of us would care, nerd.) -Ash @rottentarsoul

That's fair, what I'm afraid of is going dormant against my will. Sometimes fictives in my system have a harder and harder time accessing the front.

But, thank you for saying that. On the other side, I'm also afraid of a lot of people caring, but not being there for them anymore.

Description: Sweet and friendly generally, but can be a bit of a prankster and chaotic to others. Generally tends to stay out of conflicts both in-system and in the outerworld, unless it benefits themself or red's friends. May or may not spark mild chaos and/or disrest in the headspace, but more out of mischevous than malice. The pranks/chaos vine tends to spread are typically non-harmful and rather just put a mild inconvencience on someone's day than genuinely making them upset. It's all in good fun. Bakes from time-to-time (mostly muffins) and gives them out to nethers headmates. Has an affinity for and collects round stones and red-colored objects. Don't ask about it.

Regressor Natsuki (2-5) Headcanons!

I think Natsuki would be pretty embarrassed about her regression at first, considering she wants to be taken as seriously as possible and is already labeled one of the most childish members in the club, but if she trusted someone enough, she'd tell them bits and pieces until dropping the full name of age regression.

When regressed, she still wants to keep her independence but sometimes being in littlespace makes it harder to do things. She'd insist that she's not a little baby and can do it herself, consistently failing at the task unless someone steps in or she gives up.

Do NOT call yourself Daddy/Dada, or any type of paternal name. Don't even mention it around her. At best, it pulls her out of littlespace and at worst....well you just made her regression impure and triggering.

When tiny, Natsuki loves to play with those kitchen food sets! If she's alone, she'd just make food for her stuffies, pretend she's on a famous cooking show, or open a bakery with her own pastries! If she's with someone she trusts, she'd definitely make them food. What do you MEAN you don't wanna play with her? She's pulling you by your arm and making you anyway!

Still loves to read manga while she's little, but while snuggled up with her stuffies!

Natuski definitely has some involuntary regression, but sometimes she voluntarily regresses too! It's a safespace for her to re-do her childhood and she loves the joy it brings her

Sassy and definitely talks back, at best you'll be called a butthead but at worst, yeah she's definitely the type of regressor to curse...

But don't get it wrong, she's very appreciative of people she can be regressed around, but just struggles to show that love and affection, especially verbally. The best you'll get is drawings of the two of you, poems about you, and smiles. (She WILL look away embarrassed afterwards)

Natsuki wants a caregiver, but not one to take care of her and be super strict, just someone she can spend time with and know she has a support system when little. Does she need one? No.

Writes short, simple poems about random things while regressed! She saw a beautiful flower? A cat? She'll write about it!

Has a HUGE sweet tooth when regressed, this little toddler is a snack gremlin...BEWARE.

Depending on her little age, she might bake in littlespace. If it's 2-3, heck no but if she's 4-5, she can do it! Natsuki is an expert and it might take a little longer compared to her big self, but she can do it! Decorating is her favorite part of baking while tiny.

She doesn't lose that much ability when regressed, nor does she like being treated like the age she feels regressed to.

Because of this, she hates petnames that make her feel like a little baby such as little one, baby, etc. She prefers petnames that aren't linked to age at all like sweetheart, angel, muffin. (She has a soft spot for sweets/food nicknames)

Doesn't own much little gear, if any. Since she doesn't have much, she usually regresses wearing oversized clothes and watches cartoons instead. She wouldn't be opposed to having some, but not too much, she's not a little baby afterall!

Natuski doesn't like to admit it, but she actually really loves physical affection. Headpats, hugs, cuddles, all of that! She'd still pretend just as much that she doesn't like it while little compared to her big self.

"I don't want your stupid hugs! Wait..there's no point in pulling away since you're already here..."

Hello! Host is Fluttershy dreams, but you can call me Flutters as well. I go by it/its. I'm part of a [Programmed] HC-DID system, we have a front and a back system who are the Crotcheted Collective (Front) and Quilted System (Back). I'm a Fluttershy fictive and selfhood with her heavily.

I'm a cupid aroace [have a tad bit of attraction], trixic, bambi lesboy femboy who greatly identifies with the xenogender Somvisphere!

We're greatly disabled and disordered, which includes level 2 autism, being semiverbal + an AAC user, schizo-spec, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, tic disorder, and DPD + NPD! Though there is more but I'm only comfortable sharing the listed above!

As an autistic person My Little Pony is my special interest! Same with horror! One of my common hyperfixations I always loop back to is Muffins Saga by Rei! Though I don't like Rei as a person. Though I enjoy mlp horror greatly with my non-mlp horror!

🦖 - is your system fictive-heavy? factive-heavy? neutral?

There's seven of us, and the only one who isn't a fictive is me (Pale), and I have four fictotypes to make up for it. South's the only one who has a fictotype that isn't his source.

The weird thing is what part of the story they're pulled from when they show up. Al's relatively modern, he remembers all of his kids; but South showed up pretty much right on the tail end of the Holy War, centuries before Al had more than one kid.

It was fifty-fifty with Sailor Kaz, either we were getting him as he is post-canon, roughly around DGS3; or we were getting the Masked Disciple and we were going to have to do the 2-3 reveal on the poor guy. Fortunately he showed up as post-canon, although he remembers his kids as preteens, not the adults we know they are by mainline AA. So that's interesting.

🎁 - have you ever bought your alters/headmates things?

These little jerks have made up 95% of our purchases lately. I have sea salt caramel chocolate in my backpack that I have been instructed not to touch because if I eat Al's chocolate he'll kill me. Edgeworth demands blueberry muffins whenever we go to Timmy's. Sailor Kaz apparently chugs chocolate milk like there's no tomorrow. I had to talk Goni out of buying six overpriced shark plushies at the Seattle Aquarium yesterday.

All we ever do is buy things for each other and also TGAA zines. It's just all we do!

What does your innerworld look like? Ours is like a small fantasy village and we're in the inn.

Oooh, okay lemme figure out how to word this. This is gonna be a bit of a ramble so bear with me here...

We have the main console room, think like from Inside Out but with a bit of a more sci-fi vibe? It's here where the host- Ren or Eli, as well as the cohosts like me usually go about their business.

In the back of the console room are doors, each one to a specific domain depending on where each alter lives. So for example, one door has a strawberry field- that's where Ren, Lorelai (the core personality), and a few others live.

There's the beach, the City, the forest, the Neon Lanes, and a few other places like that. Each has a small collection of the system living in it, and it's all sortve interwoven together.

Deeper in the city there's also a set of apartments that's dedicated to all the various muses Ren roleplays as, including OCs and stuff.

Lastly there's a small place only the gatekeepers and caretakers can get to, for when newer alters are forming and another for where the littles are being taken care of.

It all gets kinda complicated the deeper you go into it. My personal room is in the city- actually designed after the apartment. Which is. Infuriating. But I can't change it. It is what it is.

Apparently each personal room is designed based on the member's memories, and stuff. So Eli for example has his home in Caledon Forest. Ren's probably one of the few who doesn't have one based on memories- but rather a more representation of their mind? It's a treehouse cabin sortve thing. It's cute.
