Sparkeater Senator Shockwave AU (hopefully no one has done this yet...)

I don't exactly know how sparkeaters work so hopefully I'm somewhat close lol. Honestly this AU is great for angst potential (mainly optimus and some of the Outliers he used to mentor) and possibly... would give post empurata shockwave a mid life crisis seeing his old body like this? I might make a comic about an interaction of either of those 2 soon, but I'm throwing this out here now lol

I'm still new to the fandom, but am adoring the MTMTE comics, however have a small thought that turned into full blown au.

AU where Tailgate wasn't late, he makes it to his job on time, does it, and desperately tries to board the Ark, wanting something more from his life than garbage disposal. He's turned away, and so is made to go back to his job. He gets good at it, but the reward for being good at trash disposal is getting more trash. He tries to leave it, a few times, but minibots aren't really seen as more than meant for menial work. Time passes, he does work his way up enough that he's in Iacon, when the war starts.

Joining the Autobots is a last ditch effort to do something more with his life, and at first it's grunt work, before he gets eyed up for bomb disposal, mostly due to his small fingers. Except, nobody really notices him, nor does he ever get the chance to do something heroic that makes him stand out. He's already older, as the war drags on. His only outstanding quality it seems, is being able to survive every battle he gets sent into. Hundred, probably thousands of battles later, more bombs than he cares to count, and the war ends.

Nobody really notices him, he gets the same basic awards and accolades everyone does. People don't really remember or recognize him, and anyone that probably would is dead or missing. So he joins the Last Light, figuring he'll wander off or succumb to cybercrosis like most minibots his age had that were still alive. He gets on the ship, and decides to lie. He decides to tell everyone he'd been trapped in a pit offline until recently. Even wipes his autopedia record. It's better to pretend he'd missed 6 million years than admit that despite everything, he was still a nobody. He doesn't want to talk about the war to anyone, except maybe Whirl, who insists he recognizes him.

Thinking about the PL Psychonauts au again

Claire’s mindscape is a clock tower and the higher you go the more doubts and regrets appear

Then you get to the top, Claire usually hangs around there, it’s the safe space in her own head

Full of old physics books and whiteboards that are covered with formula

But the clock face seems to be broken, it’s hands stuck on one o’clock

A representation on how she can’t really forget about what she’s done. A reminder of the lives that were lost because of the accident.

The level would be called Claire’s Cuckoo Clock and it’s a manifestation of Claire’s guilt and yearning to make amends but not being able to take the first step

Until Clive steps into her mind and becomes the Raz in her story

Concept: IDW 1 D&D AU

Ratchet is a Cleric as the strongest among his healing class, but he struggles with the more esoteric nature of what he does, and often struggles to utilise more prayer-based healing methods

Pharma is the leading Cleric at his temple as a result of Ratchet's struggles, as Pharma is considered a devout practitioner with strengths in ALL aspects of healing

Drift is a Paladin who used to be a Rogue/Ranger/something along those lines, and they meet at Ratchet's healing temple when Drift goes on a spiritual pilgrimage and Ratchet is in the middle of a crisis of faith (in both his temple deity and his own skills; he worries if he can't fully spiritually connect, is he really a good healer?)

While Drift is visiting and participates in a reception of blessings ritual with other travellers and those undertaking pilgrimage, something goes awry, and the rest of the Clerics are possessed by some unknown evil-- Ratchet is spared, due to his connection to prayer being the weakest among the rest of the Clerics present, thus making it easier for him to break free of the ritual, and he pulls Drift out of it as well

It turns out Pharma was approached by another Paladin on a pilgrimage; It was Tarn, who threatened the reputation of their temple and manipulated Pharma into utilising a prayer from Tarn's deity to open the reception ritual, which ended up being an invocation of a dark entity rather than an actual prayer

Drift and Ratchet have to escape the temple-- Or, alternatively, they have to try to purify it, in an effort to spare the rest of the Clerics. (This would include Ambulon, First Aid, Hoist, etc.)

Ratchet, being connected to the deity of the temple by nature (even if it is a nature he doesn't fully accept at this point) is the best one to attempt purification, and Drift bolsters Ratchet's strength with his own powers of faith

With Drift's help, Ratchet is able to fully connect with the deity of the temple for the first time, and successfully clears the shadows of possession from the temple and its inhabitants/visitors/patients

Pharma is taken in by Paladin guards, while Tarn is nowhere to be found. Banished with the shadow entities, or simply escaped?

They want Ratchet to be the new leading Cleric while Pharma is held for investigation, but he declines as he is still shaken by having a purely spiritual experience that he can't quite integrate with his conceptualisation of faith or healing, so he leaves First Aid in charge before leaving with Drift to accompany him on the rest of his pilgrimage

IDK I feel like this could be interesting; Drift is secure in his faith here, while Ratchet can't reconcile the spiritual elements of his work with the physical, tangible elements of it.

Bonus: Since Drift and Ratchet are from different temples, they have different deities and different beliefs/spiritual abilities as a result.

A Paladin and a Cleric enter a small pub on the roadside, looking to rest after weathering a storm on their path. At the bar, there is a half-Giant who preaches to a crowd of Dwarves and half-Orcs, who raise up their steins and cheer...

I haven't posted in a while and I'm actually getting my writing game back. Chapter 3 is up and chapter 4 is coming after I post a couple of mini fics. I wrote this back in 2018 from an RP with a buddy! I've gotten over my kink shame and performance anxiety (with writing) and want to share!

It's a MTMTE Au where Megatron and Starscream are able to put aside their differences and fall in love again and repair what they had before the war.

Calling it the Veteran Tailgate AU from now on to organize it, but Tailgate recognizes several mechs from the war, some in passing, others from brief stints at various bases. He doesn't expect anyone to really remember him, he was friendly, but he stopped really trying after awhile, he's glad nobody he holds a grudge against, really, is on board. People who got promotions over him. Meeting Cyclonus was an accident, he still gets stuck halfway, downsides of bare minimum maintenance and ancient frame, he doesn't expect to get locked in the room with the bot or for him to not leave for a different room after.

This is one interpretation of my AU where Roddy is the child of Ratchet and Deadlock (in a... sadder version of it)

Hot Rod was born in the midst of the war, roughly 2 million years after it began

After long discussions, Ratchet ultimately took him to live at the Autobot base, where it would be safer for the young spark. No one knows how the Decepticons would react to Deadlock having a sparkling, and too many might see this “weakness” as something to exploit

Roddy knows who his carrier is and has met with him a few times

Autobots know he’s Ratchet’s sparkling, but they have no idea who his carrier is

Decepticons, for now, don’t know about him at all

During one of the battles, Deadlock is captured. While the higher-ups of the Autobots are preoccupied with more urgent matters, Roddy, following the call of his spark, finds his way to him ♡

Together I think their joint mind thing if it was possible would be called “The City Of Miracles”

Or maybe that could be their chapter name!

Angela’s mind would be a castle or something representing how trapped she feels she is, it’s full of doubts

Definitely a representation of her two main powers (hydrokinesis and pyrokinesis)!

One part would be like a water park type thing, representing her sadness and loss

Then the other side of the castle would be like a training ground representing her anger and knowledge and it would mainly be set on fire as if to show the damage that’s been done

Then Warrior Angela, a fiery spirit with power to uncover your deepest secrets

She’s always talking about how angry she is at both her boys, how hurt and figuring out how she’s going to heal

All I’ve got for Henry’s is it’s the reunion inn and that the story follows his journey to becoming more independent and learning to stand on his own two feet

Focuses on cryokinesis but also levitation as he’s extremely good at that

Maybe as you go around the inn his mind twists when you find out about Randal and how hurt and how hellbent on looking for him Henry was

Definitely full of doubts and guilt with a panic attack every now and again

A manifestation of the life he lost and left behind but now has in the present

Lots of censors and doubts (these people are anxious as fuck)

Focus on levitation and marksmanship (Randall’s specialty)

Story of his hubris and how he lost himself leaving the people he loved for 18 years and then coming back

Then his anger at them for supposedly moving on without him

One point the carnival gets destroyed because clive digs up a very bad memory and it angers Randall’s inner self
