Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Lady Luck herself, has finally fallen on her feet after years of playing catch-up. Her boss, Mary Humphries of The House of Humphries, has invited her to be first assistant at an important meeting in London with none other than Gabriel.

But with bad luck seemingly always knocking on her door, she needs to make sure she doesn’t ruin this opportunity — which is easier said than done.

When she mistakes handsome, geeky looking Adrien Agreste as Gabriel’s personal assistant, suddenly she seems to have magicked up some luck.

They could not be more different in personality, yet after surviving a rather interesting Akuma together, a strange and exciting friendship forms… It’s just a shame one person doesn’t agree.

The one of the few times I wish I could use DoorDash to delivery me a food order, I can't. 😞 I'm actually a part-time Dasher, and I commute about 40 minutes to the nearest town/small city to get work. I live in a quaint and rural little town that I love, but no food delivery options whenever in a pinch. This is the first time I wish I had that option. *sigh* I brought up my dilemma to my hubby and his response, "This is what happens when the dependable Dasher in our region is not well enough to dash for herself." This made me laugh! Now for a brief back story; within the past year of being a DoorDasher, I've met only one other part-time Dasher; others dash very casually. DoorDash's first rewards program at the start of 2024 was to be a "Top Dasher", which was active between February and May. Now it's the 3 tier rewards program; Platinum, Gold and Silver. Anyways......it is for a fact, my hubby googled on who's the "top dashers" in our region at that time and my name was the top of that list. I'll admit, hearing that made me feel extremely special! 🥰 Back to present....so yeah. Lol My hubby was able to cheer me up when I was feeling really crappy. ❤️ I'll be back DoorDashing first thing tomorrow. 👍

having good & true friends will literally save and protect you in a million unfathomable ways. like okay we have written so many times about lovers. but the way a platonic friend laughs and cries with you. the way they hold your hand at 14 years old and at 34. the way they keep a little silver tie to you, touching base over and over and over. how you can go years without talking, only to re-meet and discover: oh shit! you're still cool!

there are people who have been in my life for more than half of it, and i have loved every version of them. do you know how fucking beautiful that is. yeah love will save the world. but the way friends love you is gonna save the you.

From watching the drifting jellies to being all about that (sea)bass, Makana’s journey around the Aquarium is an enriching experience! Makana is one of our resident Laysan albatrosses. She’s offered excursions like this one as part of her care. These outings provide her with new smells, sounds, and sights to "sea" as she cruises through the building. 

🌍Makana broke her left wing as a young chick and lost the ability to fly long distances, which is why she resides with us. These enrichment activities keep her mind sharp and offer her new experiences.

But did you know that seabirds in the wild face some serious challenges? 🥺 As an ambassador for her species, Makana helps us highlight the dangers of plastic pollution threatening the health of our oceans. It’s up to us to help! 🌊
