I love this movie. It teaches us to be frontal with expression, to gain courage in emotion. Rare are there young men these days who actually have the space to be vulnerable with each other and to themselves without being shamed for it. This movie opened up my eyes about true, unpredecented brotherhood through art and literature — and it's something I'll never ever forget.

THEORY TIME!

It's been less than 24 hours since seeing movie and I have A THOUGHT.

Okay, so I love Mae's character, but she seems unlikable. And I'm not meaning to the audience, I'm talking with other characters. You see her interact with apes and a human and she seems so detached to both. Apes, we understand, but with the only human character she interacts with she still seems guarded. Sure, Trevathan did not align with her mission, but from the get go she doesn't seem to enthused that she is meeting him.

I have a theory that maybe Mae doesn't really fit in with humans. They don't let her into the bunker at the end of the movie. (Although that could be for safety reasons.) Maybe her completing this mission to help humanity is her trying to form a connection with them. Her mother is long gone and we don't really see her having any other human relationships. (Yet)

What if, in this trilogy, Mae learns she is more connected to apes than with humans? Noa and Raka are the first apes to be nice to her. Originally, she didn't want to put the Eagle Clan in danger. I truly believe she was going to help them, had the plan gone right. And she saved Soona, an ape she had just met. If she finds she cares for the apes genuinely and cares to help humans to get in their good graces, which do you think she would choose?

I hope that this story ends up being a tale if found family. Something that can answer the question if Apes and Humans can exist together.

I HAVE AN OM SHANTI OM THEORY

This may sound crazy but I need you guys to stay with me

So you know how in the movie, Om Kapoor starts to remember events from his previous life only AFTER he goes to the burnt studio?

And at the end of the movie, we realise that Shantipriya's ghost has been in the studios for the past however many years.

So what if, it was Shanti's ghost who made Om Kapoor see all those things from his past life? Like, she must've had some kind of powers as a ghost right? So what if it was because of her that Om Kapoor remembered his past life?

This also makes me think that she probably realised that she HAD in fact, fallen for Om Makhija, and that as she took her last breaths, after Mukesh came back and buried her under the jhoomar, she was thinking of her moments with Om Makhija, thinking of how he was the one that made her feel loved.

And also now I know I'm going down a spiral

But Imagine Shanti dies as she is thinking about Om, and then when she turns into a ghost, she spends all those years roaming around the studio, reminiscing in what little time she had spent with Om and hoping that Om lived his life and became a big superstar and that he might just come back to the studios but being disappointed when he doesn't. But then he does, and Shanti sees him, and realises that even though it's been so many years, Om still looks the same, and the realisation that Om died trying to save her hits her. And she wishes to meet him, but she can't, because she's a ghost, and he doesn't even remember everything. So she decides to make him remember everything. And then, then when Om remembers everything, and steps up to take revenge, she decides to become his shield of protection against Mukesh. And so everytime Mukesh is just about to catch onto Om's plans, Shanti does something that keeps Mukesh at bay, until, she realises that Om's plans probably won't work, as she knows how much of a bastard Mukesh is, and so, When Sandy is running from Mukesh, and she wounds herself, Shanti does not distract Mukesh, and then, then she kills Mukesh.

Also, the fact that as Shanti's ghost kills Mukesh and then looks at Om, tears in her eyes, perfectly aligns with my theory that Shanti realised her love towards Om only in her dying moments

Since we know that the end of the world, the first Armageddon, was not really the end according to God's Ineffable Plan - what if the end she spoke of would also be the end of the series, in that garden, in that cottage?

What if Azi and Crowley were meant - DESTINED - to be together for eternity, after everything? According to the Ineffable Plan itself!

So my Theory is they’ll most likely start the 3rd movie off with either Shadow’s Backstory or him Breaking out of Containment and Escaping Prison Island

Deadpool and Wolverine Theory Time!🥰🥰🥰

So because James Logan Howlett will not leave my brain because of…(coughs)…reasons…

I have a theory that the Logan we (and Deadpool) fell in love with in Deadpool and Wolverine is a Logan we have met before. Remember this scene in the end credits of Deadpool 2?

And then Wade shoots his variant and tells a confused Logan about him wanting to hang up the claws but to get back in the saddle when his old buddy Wade comes back? My theory is that this Logan

My theory is that when Wade killed his Wolverine Origins variant, he probably killed Stryker too giving Logan time to escape with the kids and meet Charles Xavier. Meaning Stryker never shot Logan to make him lose his memory and that’s why the Logan we meet in Deadpool and Wolverine knows he’s two hundred years old. And since the TVA doesn’t prune branched timelines anymore, these branched timelines still exist and when Wade finds Logan at the bar, it’s the same Logan he talked to, just later in his timeline. Now I just need to figure out how the Logan timeline still works because I know Logan is five years later than Deadpool and Wolverine but it’s kind of messed up to think that in five years in the 10005 universe the X Men are going to die but would Wade and the Logan we saw in Deadpool and Wolverine let that happen? Is that going to cause the incursion to bring the X Men in the MCU?

Gambit Theory

So it's 2am in the morning for me but I need to get this theory written down somewhere before I forget it.

What if Gambit wasn't born in the void like he implied but was sent there by the TVA after his brain surgery?

Cause the man got a lobotomy to reduce his power level and get his powers under control, right? Brain surgeries can cause memory loss. So the TVA could have pruned him before he could wake up in his home timeline or while he was awake but still in that limbo of not remembering what was going on

I don't know if any of this makes any sense, but the brain worms are screaming and I need sleep.

In the 2003 Movie, Holes, (its different in the book, sadly, but both book and adaptation i LOVE. also idk if this has already been pointed out but i gasped out loud when i noticed)

Sam the Onion Man dies out in the river, shot dead in his boat. I don’t think they’d bother to retrieve his body, bc unfortunately he’s a black man in the late 1890’s and the bigots who did kill him suck. 100 years later, we see his boat, the Mary Lou, dried up in the desert, when Zero hides in it. Sam’s body is probably still there.

Later, In a flashback, we see Kate Barlow (a.k.a Kissin’ Kate Barlow) die laughing laying against Sam’s boat. She’s hid her loot in the desert, and Linda and Trout Walker and all of their children will never ever find it.

But the important thing is that even if Sam and Kate Barlow died years apart, their bodies will now lie forever together, as lovers should.

SMILE 2 ENDING THEORY

Smile 2 has officially been released on digital and since now it is on digital let’s talk about the confusing ending and how I and others think Skye Riley got on stage.

Before the movie came out Parker Finn and Naomi Scott did say in interviews that the audience will be left confused at the end and they were right because after watching the movie my jaw dropped at the end, left confused, and was trying to think how the hell she got there.

Now here's the theory, a few days after watching the movie I was looking back at the first teaser that they released on Interscope Records YT account and it was when the marketing was first beginning and it was released on June 13, 2024.

and billboards promoting her and the song 'Blood On White Satin' with a qr code back in June.

now ofc there were people thinking that this was a industry plant since people didn't know who Skye was or even knew Smile 2 was happening and I knew this was for the movie and i thought this was genius.

Also i just want to say I don't think many people know this but when Naomi Scott was casted to play Skye on the IMDB page for the movie her name was put as Quinn Parsons.

and when the marketing was first beginning they had her name on the casting list as Quinn Parsons/Skye Riley but it got removed after the 2nd trailer released. They were probably doing this so it won't ruin the marketing since they were making it seem she was real and they did announced Naomi was going to be in the movie in December 2023. Also when they first started the marketing they were hiding Naomi's face.

Anyway back to the theory.

I wanted to look back at it because I remember how excited I was when they announced Naomi was going to be in it, and it was going to be about a pop star. I love horror, Naomi, and pop music so I didn’t shut up about it for months.

In the first 13 seconds of the teaser it showed Skye going on stage all excited and at like the last 3 seconds of it it was her looking at all of her fans and I noticed that she was wearing the exact same outfit and had the same hair like in the end of the movie.

After noticing I went on twitter to talk about it and someone said “The entity must’ve controlled her body there when it stuck its hand in her mouth” and I was so surprised because I didn’t think of that.

So I also think that it must’ve put a piece of it into Skye and when she woke up in the hospital it must've been the entity acting as Skye like everything was fine and was ready to start the tour.

While the real Skye was probably in some type of coma in her head hallucinating the events in the hospital, car, and at the Pizza Hut, obviously thinking it was all real.

And when the entity closed the doors on her that’s when she woke up.

That is why the entity said "This isn't real, Skye" and "You're not the one in control.... I am".

Now even if that whole thing was real in the Pizza Hut it wouldn’t make any sense because why would her label still make her go on tour after all of that like they probably would’ve moved the dates till Spring and have her take more of a break.

Also her fucking mom turned out to be alive so if that whole thing was real she would've woken up in a real hospital with police asking her what happened and why she kill her mom

and in that part when she put the needle in her neck I don't think the drug was in it and when she was about to pass out it was probably blood loss from her foot or not drinking any water and not eating.

Also, I think when the entity was acting as Skye, it definitely chose the outfit on purpose and was like to her team “You know what, I changed my mind. I want to wear this” just to piss her off and show how 'disgusting' she is to her fans.

This is the theory for now, I would like to hear what you guys think. I would like to make an analysis of this movie, especially one about Skye. Bye

Everybody has been talking about Branch's problems and anxieties (and I will probably make a post about this later too) but I think we should also talk about Poppy.

After the two movies she has gone through her own share of traumatic events like betrayal but also the fear of loosing the people she cares about. Which brings me to the point of this post: I think that after the events of the World Tour it would not be surprising if Poppy has become scared of loosing Branch.

When he self-sacrificed himself for her and jumped in front of the guitar chords, she couldn't have possibly known what would happen when he got hit by the guitar chords and after that she could not have known if it even was possible to turn him back to normal. So, now she has to worry about Branch doing stuff impulsively and without regarding his own safety if it is, in his own eyes, for the greater good or for the people he cares about.

And when she destroyed the strings, the first thing she thought and cared about was Branch. She literally threw the strings on the floor and ran to him, to make sure he was all right. Of course, it was her being worried about him and seeing how he was doing after the whole thing being a rock zombie. But maybe another reason why she ran to him so fast is that she saw he was grey again. And it was just such an impulse reaction to her seeing him like this, that she had to make sure how he was doing as soon as possible. The general consensus that I want to pull from here is: Poppy does not like seeing Branch being hurt neither physically or emotionally.

Thus, I just want to say that I think it would be pretty plausible to assume that she is scared to lose him because of his tendencies, because it almost happened before and that she isn't particularly thrilled to see him being hurt in any kind of way. I also think the way how she feels about him is actually very new to her, so she does not yet know how to deal with the many feelings she has. So, of course, it would be pretty overwhelming to see the person you love (and you possibly have not loved someone this way before) self sacrifice themselves for you. That could strengthen the fear and the trauma even more. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised if she has become cautious or a little paranoid because of that.

Yeah, that are some of my speculations. I don't know if we will see something that has to do with this topic in the new movie, but it is interesting to think about the impact the last two movies left on our characters and how it could influence their actions in the third movie.

Oh...

Wouldn't it be so messed up if Mae's mom was one of the primitive humans and the humans she's helping tried to produce more children who could talk? So they try to cross breed the smart humans with the primitive humans and Mae is born. And thats why she says her mother taught her silence and why she had such a visceral reaction to seeing the hord of primitive humans. Wouldn't that be messed up?

the truman show is one of the only movies that i can never stop thinking and theorizing about years after watching them.

like, truman didn’t have a real choice at the end. everything he knew was a lie. there was no way he could go back to his life. the illusion would‘ve ended, it wouldn’t be a 'real' reality show anymore.

and i always wonder how he started living in the real world. the world he knew was the 'american dream' with no conflict, how did he react to seeing what goes on in the real world? it would be a completely different reality for him. bro didn’t even know the moon existed. i‘m curious what he learned at school. did he even learn about the solar system? what kind of history was he taught? i‘m so curious about his beliefs about the world, whether he was taught about a god etc.. seeing the moon and the stars for the first time at 30 must be an experience

his life after escaping the set must’ve been exhausting. pretty much everyone around the world knew him, he was probably getting harassed by reporters or those ultra fans we saw in the movie daily. how did he find an apartment? did he find a new job?

i am kinda convinced he would’ve fallen into depression or drugs after escaping to cope with everything. it‘s like his life was doomed from the start, from the moment christof decided to exploit his life for his own profit.

Why I think Metal Sonic might be in the 3rd Sonic movie

(I swear I’m not just huffing copium because he’s my favorite)

Quite possibly the biggest piece of evidence I have to support my theory is this moment from the trailer, where Sonic begrudgingly gives Robotnik a quill in exchange for his help defeating Shadow.

Now we know from the previous two movies that these quills can be used to power machines, and they did just that in the past, which is why I doubt they’d make such a big deal of it if they were doing they same thing again, for example, powering the giant crab mech we see.

Which seems to be functioning before they even meet up with Robotnik and make that deal with the quill, so I don’t think that’s the case. My theory is that the quill will be used to power metal sonic.

Some additional notes, as to why i think he might be a surprise addition to the movie as opposed to any other character we haven't seen yet, like Amy for example:

- No voice work would be needed. Metal sonic doesn't speak at all in his base form, so no lines would need to be recorded, or voice actor hired

- Relatively easy to introduce as a character, since unlike most other characters he wouldn't have a backstory to be explored, and therefore wouldn't step on Shadows toes, who seems to be the main focus of the movie, trying to get enough screen time to be fleshed out as well

- this is probably my biggest reach, but he would be a good tool for an open ending. Although it hasn't been confirmed if they plan to make more movies, he would give Robotnik a leg up on Sonic to continue the plot, maybe introducing Amy since she is tied to Metal Sonic's original introduction in the games, and hopefully changing the antagonist up again, maybe seeing Neo Metal or even Metal Madness in a future movie (but this is just wishful thinking at this point 🥲)

Of course, I could still be entirely wrong, but throughout the trailer, we don’t see much of what Robotnik does to help once he has the quill. It stands to reason he probably engages in combat with that crab mech, but he also probably won’t stay on the good side the whole movie, as he does end up turning on Sonic the second he can whenever he has to team up with him in other media. Knowing him he probably has something else up his sleeve for when things go awry…
