Finally got around to finishing the SamBucky proposal comic!!

Inspired by the thought that a ring wouldnt work on buckys metal arm, so maybe Sam would get a whole new arm made with a ring integrated into it

My dad is still in my life. But he feels so absent he might as not be here at all.

He doesn't know me, doesn't try to understand me. Doesn't like that I'm different

I got really emotional this morning, and this happens occasionally, when thoughts of my dad and how fractured my relationship is with him and how failed I feel by him and sometimes it just comes crashing down on me at once with no warning

I swallowed it obviously because I couldn't do that right before classes.

But...that feeling is constant, and I think sometimes people forget that trauma follows you around even when you "feel ok" it's always right there and sometimes it catches you off guard

Nothing really important about this post I just wanted to share a feeling.

like, imagine hating a character, but the character is just a kid who don't belong anywhere in the world he is born in, and who's trying his best even tho everyone, safe for two people, treat him like shit; all that while still staying kind and positive... (tbh they just hate him bc he is human and not a 9 feet tall blue alien)

Why is nobody talking about the symbiotic polyamorus relationship between the Sun, the Moon and the Earth?!?!

Why is no one talking about how the Sun gives life to Earth allowing her precious creatures to live and survive and grown whilst the Moon makes her surface shimmer and glow and come alive even when the sun is gone.

Why is no one talking about the fact that the Solar system would be incomplete without Earth and the Sun wouldn't have any life to appreciate it's warmth. That without the Earth the Moon wouldn't have a purpose and people to enjoy it's beauty.

I can't believe I've never seen someone make this connection before and honestly i can't believe I haven't thought of it sooner.

Spider is the only one of the Sully kids with dreadlocks (they are technically matts but this is not what this post is about) who else has dreadlocks, the only other fucking character with dread locks?

I can't believe I didn't see it before but Spider is copying Jake. I mean think of it this way. Neteyam was the eldest, he was "Jake's perfect soldier" (Justice for Neteyam) it would have made sense for him to copy his dad or even Lo'ak since he wanted to live up to his Dad but neither of them have dreads. I doubt that Spider wouldn't have braided his hair if he wanted to. So he has dreads instead, (I don't know if I can find it right now but there is a post explaining how his dreads are actually matts but I also think it's a choice he just doesn't know how to maintain them properly) because he want's to be like Jake. He wants to be like the man who knows what it's like to be like him. A human on a planet no where close to earth and it's culture, a man who is more na'vi than human. A great man who stood up to the RDA and became Toruk Makto.

He wants to be like the man he considers a father and what is the way he can do that? Copying some of his style

That's actually really heart breaking to think that Spider might have copied it from Jake. Because he's had them since he was little so it means he's been following after Jake and seeing him like a father since he was a little bean
